2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 29, 2021, 08:14:52 PM
San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets.

PICK : San Antonio Spurs +4.5 and a little ML bet. Good luck!
I'm going the other way. Sorry, I am a Nuggets fan.  Wink
Nuggets -4.5
Cavs ML vs Knicks
Betbuilder:
Nikola Jokic 20.5+pts 9.5 assists
Michael Porter Jr. 3+ three-point field goals.
Both teams had their good one day rest. This could become a tight game.

2402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there nobody talking about DOGE? on: January 29, 2021, 07:13:50 PM
It's basically the only different type of graph right now and sitting at 7th position. "Such wow"  Cool
Yeah! Finally.
But I bet this will just be a short span of time.
I don't think many people are really holding this except if they are truly in love with it.
Did Elon Musk also have a share with this pump?
It's at 0.04 but still high for those who bought at 0.02 with large amounts.
I may ride this wave again for another profit to come.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 29, 2021, 02:37:59 PM
I think trying to blame Gasol isn't right.  Very clear from the video (not so much from the pictures) that the foul was committed by LeBron.  Multiple replays and professional officials confirmed that.  I'm a LeBron fan, but if this shit starts happening as he ages as a way to protect his legacy from posters of him being dunked on, he's no better than Grayson Allen.  LeBron needs to do better and I'm sure he will, but this play is indefensible from a moral standpoint.
I agree.
Just because he is soon to be a HOF means he can do bad things like that to avoid humiliation.
Worse, he didn't even feel sorry about what he had done.
I have watch Lebron so many times that I always see him helping those he thought he might have hurt.
Not this time. Almost looked like there is hate building up.
He's near retirement and he doesn't want any stain on that jersey that will be lifted up.
2404  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is up $4500 in 30 munites? on: January 29, 2021, 10:18:14 AM
Can we say then that Elon Musk is the reason why Bitcoin is up now Cheesy.
Then in the future if he will remove that Bitcoin and his BIO and it dumped, it will be his fault again Cheesy.

It might be that Musk has an effect in the recent spike. It can be the GameStop drama too coming from WSB. For me, its just Bitcoin doing the old things. Nothing unusual here for me.
Yes, it could be the reason behind it.
Looks like a lot of big investors are following him so badly that every direction he went will be their path too.  Grin
I am waiting for Doge too. It could be soon.

Damn, and I sold some just before that pump for my monthly groceries.  Cry
I hope I could make it at the right time in my next withdrawal.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 29, 2021, 04:11:30 AM
Harkorede you might really win that betbuilder you made.
Ayton had high stats now at halftime. I hope GSW will make that 99.5 points made. Fingers crossed.
2nd quarter was slow for them.

2.68 for GSW to win the game this 2nd half. I'll take it.  Grin Might get hot during the 2nd half.
Loss. Crap. They didn't even get warm.  Cheesy
2406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you meet Crypto Currencies? on: January 29, 2021, 03:09:54 AM
Also, as a simple answer to the insufficient basic salary.
It's just not enough whatever side you look at it.
You will need something more to make money from.

I have that kind of view with things before but once I got the profit I needed, I stopped.
There is a chance for some of the cryptocurrency projects to look at a bigger picture. For the future.
All they need is support.
2407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No positive sign in LTC on: January 28, 2021, 07:05:04 PM
I invested with LTC just recently and all I can say is I might have bought it at the wrong time.
Maybe if I have just done it a bit earlier before most of the top coins are pumped.
I have no idea about the reasons behind the recent dip but I bet it also relies on how Bitcoin moves.

Ethereum and Bitcoin are gaining again, maybe it will also be dragged into it while it moves up.
2408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies and inflation on: January 28, 2021, 06:08:09 PM
So it's like you are looking for a lazier way to do things instead of the lazy method of interest back then?  Grin
That will be difficult to find.
It's like you don't want to risk something at all while others are going for high risk, high reward just so they can feel the profit.
Well, good luck finding that. I doubt there will be one.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 28, 2021, 03:03:35 PM
Gobert may be energized by lots of criticism being thrown at him one is with Shaq, where he talks about Gobert salary, which may fuel his will to perform well, but it's just early to say that they have improved because sometimes, other teams are just resting for a push when its nearing eliminations, there are still other teams that are just waiting for the perfect time to push, but if this to players with Mitchell will play this types of games they have a chance at a third or fourth spot maybe.
It's still better pushing at an early stage to avoid having problems taking a playoff spot.
Watch them. They are really excellent on both the offensive and defensive sides.
Clarkson pushing himself to contribute more for this team and then there is Gobert who always protects the rim.
It might just be injuries that can stop them.
Chemistry is not an issue too.
2410  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 28, 2021, 12:43:45 PM
I don't really understand much even after repeating to read over and over again.
I guess what you are implying is about our own choices from hereon.
Are you willing to sacrifice your investment to something new or go old school which doesn't even give enough profits for your future?

Well, I am glad I made good choices already but I would not line myself with those rich guys out there.
I'd still want to rest in the shadows without being traced by thieves.  Grin
2411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's show the world we can do what a reddit group did! on: January 28, 2021, 08:01:02 AM
How about we show the world how good we are than a reddit group.  Grin
Komodo had been around for a long time and I think it had been in a good position before.
Like in the top 50 coins.
I don't really know what happened and it would be better to just remind the people but not be pushy to buy it.
Offering the good features of it is a better way if you really want a good result.
2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 28, 2021, 07:10:21 AM
Crap. This Jazz team is really scaring me.  Grin
It's their 10th winning streak.
Clarkson had been playing on a different level since their first win and still growing.
They are now at the top team in the West. (Lakers lose vs 76ers making 14-5)

Luckily, I won my Nuggets bet just not enough to equal the loss.
2413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is down a lot on: January 27, 2021, 08:18:52 PM
But they don't own the highest percentage of Bitcoin out there.
You cannot really tell who is moving the market.
It could even be just small investors who dump their bitcoins at the same time.

I would not worry much about it. It could also be a correction for the speedy pump that had happened which is almost impossible for other investments out there.
I am still thankful it got this this far.
2414  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 07:05:39 PM
I would not rely much on that "change in SEC" thing.
Rather, look for how high the demand is and I bet it is still strong if you consider that the price didn't fell that much like 2018.
Somehow it is still holding at a good number and yes that could be a good sign to purchase.
It may look expensive for all of us but there is always the "what if". It sways hard upwards that no one expects.
2415  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Biden raise the federal minimum wage from 7.25 USD per hour to 15 USD? on: January 27, 2021, 06:04:39 PM
That means passing it to Congress first.
It's not just Biden that can decide everything even if he is the president.

Congress means owners of businesses or friend of friends of business owners that will argue about it.
I doubt it will be passed that early without an economic breakdown or even if they will be bountiful for the next year.
They would rather give that stimulus check over and over rather than have a law of giving out $15 per hour which will last for a long time.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 27, 2021, 02:06:45 PM
Not many games/lines to choose from today and i'm still 'hungover' from yesterday's 4/4, so i guess i will sit this one, official reason: "load management".  Grin
Same. I celebrated with 2 bottles of beer and rested well last night.  Cheesy
Now I am ready to bet again.

9 winning streak for Utah Jazz
But they are up against a well-rested Mavs. Will they continue their streak? I am against them for this game.
Mavs ML.
Nuggets -5.5 vs the Heat.
Since Luka got his big rest, might as well bet for his stats too.

Good luck to all.
2417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another mistreatment on: January 27, 2021, 11:24:32 AM
It's a damn old story.
Shit happens. It happens.  Grin

I don't think they will ever change that perspective with bounty hunters.
They will always claim it will be their fault whenever a dump will happen even if they are just giving 2 percent of the total amount of tokens.
It's not that shocking anymore.
2418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for Trading on: January 27, 2021, 03:30:13 AM
It's the basics but should not be forgotten even by veterans.
There are times we tend to forget to use the same basics over and over again because we want more. (Greed)
It happens mostly to those who think they knew a lot already.
I admit I am also guilty of that.
Thanks to this forum though it reminds me to go back to basics. Be a newbie again. Protect your capital.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 26, 2021, 05:11:23 PM
Time will come that he will surpass the number 1 in the list, he is still young and he still have more seasons to play.
It's pretty amazing to see him playing on the floor and to tally a high number of assist, currently he is the number 2 in assists leaders, next to Harden.

Soon as his good performance will continue, he might be all over in the stats leaders.

https://www.nba.com/stats/
I don't even doubt that.
It will happen someday.
Number one on the list is still Oscar Robertson with 181 triple-doubles.
Next is WB (Russell Westbrook) 141. But he is soon to retire.
Jokic on the other hand already had 41 and he is still young.
Doncic is still way far from those numbers but I bet he will break those while wearing his healthy smile.
2420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth able to break its previous ATH within few days? on: January 26, 2021, 02:49:45 PM
Correction. It's coinmarketcap and coingecko.
It can. Ethereum has no doubt to increase in such amount we don't expect.
I have ETH myself which was bought at $260. Up until now, I am not selling much because I am expecting more.
Eth 2.0 is the key to making higher value.
I am not inspired by FUDs bringing down Bitcoin just to push the market of Ethereum.
The project will work itself and someday we will see change.
