2401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin becomes priority alternative when cash fails on: March 21, 2022, 04:41:34 PM
Actually this epic moment happened in Ukraine, I don't know how difficult it is to get cash there (even using e-money). Someone sells "a Legendary Car" with bitcoin. View more...

Another milestone that bitcoin really serves as an alternative currency especially in times of urgency, bitcoin is really valuable for someone to survive. Because urgent situations are not just about war, calamities can also have more severe repercussions. I think this is a perfect consideration for any government not to be too strict on bitcoin regulations.

(The point of this thread is not about Ukraine situations specifically, but to the experiences of the people on this story.)

bitcoin has proved time over time that it is more than just a cryptocurrency. It is something that people trust at time of emergencies.
It is more like a safe haven for many people and as time goes by more number of people will start believing bitcoin for what it is and what value it brings to them.
US has also started the preparation of regulating cryptocurrencies. Many other countries have also realized the fact that its impossible to completely ban cryptocurrencies so why not regulate it instead.
Good times are only getting started.
2402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How a Pakistani celebrity and crypto billionaire challenged his government on: March 21, 2022, 04:21:34 PM
I really doubt that Wakar Zaka has become a crypto billionaire as of yet but yeah reading all the news articles I think he definitely has some nice stash.
Given that he has been running crypto mining we can say that he has indeed shined some light on bitcoin in Pakistan.
People used to call Wakar Zaka a cancer of Pakistan for his crazy reality shows which used to become a meme material on social media.
But since he has gotten into bitcoin it seems he is spreading awareness about bitcoin in Pakistan and I must say I am quite impressed.
He has gained some respect due to this generous act and I hope he continues to spread awareness on crypto in Pakistan.

No matter how high crypto coins go bear market is unavoidable it's just the way the market survives, many people are brainwashed with present market condition that they already forget what bear market is, no amount of money can stop bear market from happening, don't say I don't warn you be prepared.

You are absolutely correct. A chart never goes in one direction. The more we zoom in we find out the ups and downs of it.
The thing is that once a bull run starts more number of users get attracted towards it and starts investing in it.
This creates a bigger spike in the charts and that's where the professionals take their profits out creating a dump which is gets bigger and bigger due to panic selling.
This often results in a bear market just like the 2018 one. It was indeed a long bear market before bitcoin recovered and started another bull run.
I am pretty much sure that we will see the next bear market soon but I am not sure whether it is going to be this year or in the next 2 years.
But yeah, better be prepared for it rather than blaming bitcoin later.
The market has bounced back in the last 1-2 days but it looks like this is only a short-term gain and will continue to decline shortly thereafter.
I think we are already in a bear market, no need to wait another 2 years but I don't know if there will be a bear market like 2018 because things are very different now than they were back then.
In 2018, we saw a sharp drop and almost everyone left the market. But this year, even though bitcoin is not doing well, good projects still focus on developing and building their ideas regardless of bitcoin rise or fall and most investors are wiser and tougher. Despite the bad market, panic buying is not happening much anymore.

Yeah that does make sense. We can say that the market is more mature if we compare it to 2018.
Most of the people exited in 2018 because most of the projects launched in 2017 were from the ICO era.
Most of them turned to be scam projects and rug pull and investors lost a lot of money due to this.
This is definitely not the same case this time which tells us that even if the bear market has started then it might not be as long as the previous one.

2405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i want to take risk on: March 20, 2022, 02:12:41 PM
five percent of my investment i am planning to  take risk and invest in risky coins which gives 100X returns . Please suggest me any projects like that other than meme coins

If a coin has given 100x in the past doesn't mean it will give 100x again. It purely depends on what the team is planning to do with their project.
Also, taking risks is sometimes good but we must also know how to take the risk and should have a proper strategy in mind.
I personally think you should learn more about trading and investing in crypto before you actually go for it.
2406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What stable coin are you into? on: March 20, 2022, 02:10:20 PM
Even I wanted to know which stable coin people are using these days. It seems BUSD is in the limelight here.
So far people have been using USDT but since the recent allegations against it many have turned to USDC.
Since many people here are binance users they tend to use BUSD. Can someone tell me what are the benefits of using BUSD over USDC.
2407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another day, another data leak - more phishing likely on: March 20, 2022, 01:47:27 PM
It's good that OP mentioned this data leak. At least people could be aware of it and prepare for it well before they are being scammed.
It's always better to double check the URLs we are logging into and bookmark the sites to be on the safer side.

You will click the link button, login and WTF! Using a script one can easily send email using any email address in the from field. So receiving email from xyz@binance.com does not mean that the email came from Binance.

What ? Is that even possible ? How can one possible change the from address in an email ?
It were so then every scammer would be doing it by now and we would be getting hundreds of fraud/scam complaints on daily basis.

Finally after clicking my WoF religiously every single day for almost one year now I got the second Golden Ticket today.I know my chances are worthless to win the Lambo but it just gave me that great feeling when you win a great prize at the WoF spins, who knows maybe that 200.000 USD is destined for me with only 2 tickets  Tongue this time.
snip

Wow, it's good to know you have won a golden ticket. I still consider it more worthy than other base rewards.
You just need one ticket to win a lambo and you already have it. Now you just need to be lucky enough.
You never know when luck is in your favor but even if it isn't this time it doesn't mean you have a very bad luck.

I didn't believe it at first but then I googled it and was amazed to see that it is for real. LMAO.
I wonder how many participants it got. To be honest, I think the idea is really ..... CRAP!
Metaverse is still in very early stages and is quite of a buzz word in itself.
I just took a glimpse of it and it indeed looked like crap. Check it out yourself guys.

2410  Local / India / Re: Woman From Hyderabad Loses Rs91 Lakh In Crypto To Cyber Fraudsters; India on: March 19, 2022, 02:09:41 PM

A woman from Jubilee Hills lost Rs 91 lakh to cyber fraudsters who hacked her crypto currency account and looted it.

According to the police, the woman, who was into digital trading opened an account with ‘Binance’, a crypto currency exchange, and invested over Rs 91 lakh.

“A couple of days ago, she found that someone had hacked into her account and transferred crypto currency equivalent to Rs 91 lakh. On a complaint, a case was booked and investigation going on,” Hyderabad Cybercrime police officials said, adding that someone who was familiar with her account balance could be behind the hacking.

Damn, that's a huge amount to lose. I wonder how the woman lost such a big amount because users generally have to undergo 2FA authorization to login and then withdraw the amount.
Even if it's someone who the woman already knows then she would have received the code to withdraw the amount.
Unless she had disabled 2FA from her side which is ofcourse a very bad idea considering she was holding such a huge amount in her account.

Quote
In a separate case, a man from the city was duped of around Rs 30 lakh by fraudsters who lured him into investing in crypto currency business. The victim received a message on phone from a person who asked him to invest in the business and told him to transfer some amount into a bank account.

“Believing the person, the victim transferred a small amount on different instances into a wallet. However, when he was unable to withdraw the profits, he grew suspicious and lodged a complaint,” police said. A case was booked.

Coinshots is a News and Data platform for crypto, this is our first port to BTCtalk, hope you guys like to stay updated. Smiley

Now that's complete foolishness. Why would the person deposit 30 lakhs into a crypto business which he is not aware of.
You said that the vistim transferred small amounts on different instances but an amount of 30 lakhs is definitely not a small amount.
Didn't he verify whether he is able to withdraw the amount just when he had around 10 thousand or something.
That would have saved him a huge amount.
2411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT Tokens a Good Long Term Investments? on: March 19, 2022, 01:20:37 PM
~
I am not a NFT holder but most of my friends that played NFT games are now selling off their NFTs. I do not have any full information about the game, but it is getting hyped a lot in here.
And of course, you got in airdrop and you did not pay for anything so it would be obviously no risk in the end.
3-5 holding of NFTs is a bit.....too long and I wouldn't advise that long for many people.

Well, we can imagine what would be the future of NFTs since the people playing NFT games themselves are selling their NFTs.
Obviously it's all just a hype for NFTs these days but eventually when the market matures enough may be then the dust will settle down.
It will be at that time where we can say whether the NFT era has come to an end or will bring a new revolution in the internet.

Ofcourse it's BTCGOSU. I have been following BTCGOSU for quite some now and I think it is a one stop solution for all my gambling needs.
Whether it be a gambling reviews or news, finding out trusted gambling sites, learning how to gamble, finding out new games, bonuses, promos and what not.
It's my all time favorite casino review site.

I guess you are like me then because even I prefer to place multiple bets in different ranges which accumulate to a net profit.
That's definitely not the case this time but yeah I would say that both the ranges are tempting.

$37.5k - $40k = 3.77x
$45k - $50k = 6.02x

Yeah, multi-range betting is an effective strategy. However, it seems to me that the range of $37.5k-40k no longer looks tempting because BTC has risen from $40k to $42k today. So it's definitely going to be difficult to predict the range this month. Although I'm leaning towards placing my main bet in the $45k-50k  range and placing another small bet in the $40k-45k range.

At this point, it all boils down to whether you are going bullish or bearish towards bitcoin.
The person going bullish should opt for $45k - $50k range while the person going bearish should go for $37.5k - $40k.
There's no inbetween because staying in $40k-45k range is not really so profitable now.
I will prefer to skip the BTC price prediction this time since I can't really make it where to go bullish or bearish for the price prediction.

Just 5 days left for the BTC price prediction to end and nobody's talking about it.
I guess the recent price fluctuations have hit everybody hard on the price predictions betting.  Tongue
To be honest, the odds are not so great this time. The most common range $40k - $45k is just having an odds of 1.99

Odds are indeed not great and as you mention, price seems to volatile right now to really make a good prediction. Whenever I bet on the price; I like to bet on several ranges but still end up in profit and that seems difficult these times. The odd for the range $37,501 - $40,000 seemps tempting (@3.78) but I think this will drop some more.

I guess you are like me then because even I prefer to place multiple bets in different ranges which accumulate to a net profit.
That's definitely not the case this time but yeah I would say that both the ranges are tempting.

$37.5k - $40k = 3.77x
$45k - $50k = 6.02x
2415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 18, 2022, 02:16:02 PM
Elon Musk is a great example of why should we NOT follow crypto influencers blindly.
It doesn't really matters if he is holding his coins or selling them because the market will saturate.
He has manipulated the crypto market many times and it shows why we should not trust him or fall for his tweets related to cryptocurrencies.
He will be a good example in the history of bitcoin of why people should avoid crypto influencers.

But I'd like as many people to follow crypto influencers as blindly as possible. 2017 happened, the influencers crawled out of the woodwork, everyone went to hell after that but the cycle had ended, the weak hands began to purge, and we were given an incredible bargain sub 10k for so long. Every sat gained in that period is now worth so much more. The crap was rinsed out, cleansed, and what emerged after was so good it made the season ripe for influencers and Elon again.

Time for another spring clean, why not?

LMAO, that's a nice perspective. The weak hands indeed lost a lot of money back then.
It was a long bear market of 2-3 years. If only they would have hold until now then they would have been in lots of profits.
This is the exact reason why I am trying to accumulate as much as I can.
We know this spring break will lead to higher gains in the summer time madness in future.

2417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 17, 2022, 03:44:46 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if there is any forum, website, subreddit or a threading discussion in this forum about what the whales are going to do or if there is a channel where they talk/share their next moves.

I've read that some users here read about this kind of topic but they didn't share any post or link to the source.

Thank you for your time.

Lol, I wonder where you got the idea from that whales talk about what they are going to do next.
If such a thing existed then trust me, all the traders would have been in that channel/group/forum.
Whales do not discuss about what they are going to do next because doing that will completely disrupt their plan.
All you can do is find out what whales have already done by following the twitter page whales alert.
2418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Bitcoin Secret Revealed on: March 17, 2022, 03:39:41 PM
Assume that you have a message.
You can forward the same message to many different people.
But can you do that with bitcoin ? Can you transfer the same bitcoin to many different people ?

Ofcourse not!
I wouldn't say that your theory is absolute shit although I think it is but since you are a newbie I will advice you to read more about bitcoin.
Get a grip of it's basics and learn more about bitcoin for beginners.
Of course yes! Bitcoin is a number. Check what you receive to your bitcoin address - a number. Let's say you received "5". I can transfer the same number to many electronic addresses through many different messaging systems, the same as someone would send you this number through Satoshi's messaging system. In the same sense, I can send the word "Hello" through many messaging systems, but not through Satoshi's one. That's because Satoshi's system is a primitive one - it sends only numbers.

That's exactly where you are completely wrong dude. You think you can transfer the same BTC to different addresses but you cannot.
That's just one basic difference I have highlighted whereas there are many differences between bitcoin and the traditional messaging system.
I feel pity on you that despite so many people trying to correct you where you are wrong you still think you are wiser than the others.
But it's okay to think that way because that is what newbies do.

The man very much seeks to manipulate the crypto market and he's been doing it for a while. He has reasons for it - recently Tesla filed its annual report with SEC, and it turned out they have invested some 2 billion dollars in Bitcoin. According to the same report, however, there were no investments in Dogecoin.

The man has himself said he has invested in Dogecoin and is not willing to sell them as of now.
Then how can it be that the report is showing there were no investments in Dogecoin.
May be the reports are itself fake or Elon is probably lying again.
Or may be it's just that Tesla isn't holding any Dogecoins while he may be holding them elsewhere.

Well, I am quite excited for the higher rewards relevant to your VIP level.
It will be interesting to see what kind of rewards players of every level will get.
Currently I am standing at VIP V8. Let's see what that brings to the table.  Tongue

Yes I am waiting on that too probably a high percentage rake back or probably free credits? I am not yet a VIP player in BC.game but I'm working on it now. I am fan of original games and provably fair games and if you guys are looking for a games like that they have 10+ original games I personally like the hash dice.

Just keep playing and your level will keep increasing.
My favorite games on BC.GAME are the crash, classic dice, wheel and the limbo.
I keep playing all these games turn by turn. Crash gives more thrill while the wheel is more like a chill game to me.
