Are girls / women interested in Bitcoin ? Your opinion ?
Yes of course, I myself use it. And plenty of my friends are having it in their wallet though they came to know about it through me only ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Some months ago a veteran poster said that there is big news to be expected around mid-April. I can't find the thread.
Anyone?
Sounds interesting and mysterious, probably another big service will accept bitcoin or satoshi will reveal himself ? Until the 15th we have to wait and speculate what it is, it might just be nothing ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I am also doubtful about anything big on the said date. This might be just a hoax.

I had a most interesting discussion with a investment banker today. I asked him the question... "Do you see Bitcoin as a disruptive technology or a threat to the traditional banking system" His answer {Most arrogantly} ....We do not consider Bitcoin as a "real" currency. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I then asked him to define a currency in his opinion ...and he said ..." a system of money in general use in a particular country " I then told him...Bitcoin is a global currency... He then replied.. "But nobody use it" ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) They are clearly in the "Let's ignore it" phase of the disruption cycle... When they wake up... it will be to late to change. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) In my opinion, any currency should have a legal backing by the respective country by the equivalent amount of Gold in it's reserve. What do you say? Is it correct or not? We've already been there. After 1944 the US dollar had been allegedly backed up by gold till Nixon Shock. And many countries were on the gold standard even before that (I mean before the First World War). Didn't end very well, though... So you see, Bitcoin is and will be a virtual currency till someone or some country start backing it by some physical property like Gold, land, or any other kind of asset which has a real value in the market.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
Investment is a kind of savings. If you are doing savings then you can not keep it in the cash form with you. You will have to invest it in Fixed deposit, Real state, gold or shares, etc.

Both
For me I will not put all my eggs in one basket. I will invest 80% in Gold and 20% in Bitcoin, if that possible.

OP's answer would depend on 2 major factors: - How much fiat does he need to retire and live comfortable life in your country? - What is YOUR belief of Bitcoin's future and price speculation?
For example: If you need $200,000 to retire and if you think Bitcoin can at least go up to $10,000 in next five years. Then I need to buy 20 Bitcoins (20 x $10,000 = $200,000)
So there is no specific answer to the 2nd part of the equation. Your retirement fund is a static amount, but BTC price is a dynamic one. Go figure!
Yes totally true. In my opinion, one can not rely on a highly volatile source of investment for his/her retirement or any any other needful funds. The fluctuations in the prices is very sharp and dynamic. And no one can predict of future of Bitcoin after 20 years.

A different look at the Bitcoin market: http://www.finance-guy.net/finblog/bitcoin-not-a-bubbleit's not a very positive opinion, but I agree that something needs to be done to attract the general masses to use Bitcoin. Something needs to make BTC more attractive than cash for everyday people. What kind of incentives do you think would work for the people you know? The biggest problem what I think is that this currency doesn't have any legal backing from any Government department of from any country and that is one of the main problem because of which people are afraid to deal in Bitcoin. The second reason could be the less awareness among the general public who usually deal in normal currency. What do you think?

I totally agree with the original poster. But there is one more important thing which is well said by the famous business tycoon Warren Buffett that as soon as possible try to create a second source of income. Now let's try to understand what this second source of income can be: it can be an investment in the form of property through which you can have a rental income, or it can be buying of shares of some good dividend paying company, etc. But the sooner you created this source the better would be for yourself.

Hmm, maybe I should move to the Crimea and help them dig trenches in preparation for the invasion by Porky the Pig and his terrifying piglet army.
Why? Are you an army or war specialist? We already have enough wars going on. Don't need anything more.

Way too far gone; America's a falling rock at this point. This is what happens when a culture is centered around vote-buying--cough, I mean democracy. The end result is always the majority of naive idiots voting themselves into prosperity, but all it does is make life increasingly harder for everyone else until you segue into some stupid political system like communism, where people completely exit the market and try to live off politics. As it turns out, you can't eat a political preference.
Tell us, what is your objectively better alternative to democracy for a country? Democracy is not good either. Look at the country like India, it's dying by every passing day. Ask it's people.

Even if it was Saudi Arabia, the US needs the Saudis more as an ally than an enemy. They will probably wait until nobody speaks about this story so people will forget.
Haven't anyone of you not watched the zeitgeist documentary. In the documentary, they have showed how 9/11 was setup by US people on US soil.

Easy to pick out pieces from every religion and scrutinize where it can be interpreted as violent.
None of these religions inherently hate people. Certain people use it manipulate other educated people for their own personal/evil intent.
Yes you are absolutely correct, my friend. No religion hate people its just the people who hates other people. I have kept saying it all along.

I also just realized something that happened to me on the grade before first grade was horrible treatment.
A girl hit me in the face, I gave her the little finger (didn't even know shit at that age). And I got punished for it.
Girls get bigger faster than boys and she was huge. No matter kids will be kids I have no beef with that particular bitch.
The teacher gave me the role of a shit eating bug in the school play at the end of the year. Fucking hell.
I'm over it but I never realized that these nut-jobs are so prevalent.
I think the biggest amount of people with that mind-set are in the educational system. Especially in the university level.
I still don't understand how they can not see through their own shit.
Perhaps they want to control men and society so much that we all live in a perpetual nanny-society.
No men, you don't get to race cars anywhere cause that is dangerous. No, bobby the coal-miner cannot get paid more for putting 80 hours a week than Suzie the part-time waitress.
You break up with a woman she can kill your ass and won't go to jail.
The condom broke? She didn't abort? You pay till you're poor and die.
All young boys have to be taught that they are horrible animal rapists and inferior to women in every way.
It's going to be interesting to see this madness unfold.
Men apologizing for being men. Equal pay for unequal jobs. Women always being right. Men getting locked up on a woman's word. Etc. I may be sounding like an MRA, but I'm for everyone's fair treatment.
What proves it to me that they are just some power hungry and simply unlikable cunts is that they don't even mention the horrible shit that happens to women in certain places in the world. They don't really care about that.
You are absolutely right, my dear friend. This is happening everywhere in the world. Now a days all the people are talking about women and their rights and no one is taking about Men's rights. We-men should do something about it.

ISIS insurgents blew up an 80-year-old church in Syria's northeastern province of Hassaka on Easter Sunday, Syrian state news agency SANA said. SANA, which did not report any casualties, said the militants had planted explosives inside the Church of the Virgin Mary in Tel Nasri, an Assyrian village in an area where Christian and Kurdish militia have been battling the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). ISIS controls the village, the news agency said on Monday. The militant group, which controls swathes of Syria and Iraq, espouses a fiercely terrorist ideology, deeming many Muslims to be heretics. Its fighters have destroyed Shi'ite and Sufi religious sites and also attacked churches. More at: http://www.dailysabah.com/mideast/2015/04/06/isis-destroys-syrian-church-on-easter-sundayThis is a shame ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) , I hope someone will stop their action. Why the hell they are destroying the history of the country. Every such organizations do the same things just like what Taliban did. It destroyed the Buddha statues in Afghanistan.

This country is becoming another USSR after Puttin‘s back, And they will still call Russia a free and democratic country.
In my opinion, Putin owns Russia and he thinks he can do whatever he wants to do with it and it's people.

Yes you are right but it's not only the telecom operator who are responsible for that. Government is also equally responsible for that. Don't you think?
