2421  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 15, 2022, 09:56:37 AM
I think we all need to chill a little bit about of the current trend of the market since it makes people do wary and uncomfortable at the same no matter where the market price go. Let the market do what its usual movement do then hodl and wait, there's always a right time for buying and selling. Staying up late night just to predict or see the price movement doesn't help you to make profit at all. Well, staying up late doesn't but predicting price maybe.

Right, let the market do it's natural thing, otherwise we might disrupt it's natural flow with every spike in prices. So just like what we have seen, it went to $44k, but now goes back down to $42k.

There is no upward momentum.

If you are aiming for a long-term investment it's better to wait for your turn and stop wasting time when the price is in dip yet. Just read more about the trend and you will know when there's a pump.

I guess there are investors that are very excited to see a pump in the price because lately we have seen worst, and others think that we are already in a bear market. But if we see signs like this, we might have a second thoughts and be optimistic that a second round of bullish phase will happen this year.
I think the reason behind that some investors are very eager for another bull run is that they only have limited funds at the moment and so they can't make a big purchase in this time of correction. While others are filling their bags with potential coins, some are only hodling their old coins and just waiting patiently for the perfect time to sell. And if by chance bitcoin will make another price increase again, lucky are those who have bought from the dip since they will surely be in profits by that time.

That's possible, but I think majority is still holding funds ready to invest in crypto to take advantage of the situation, (the price is very cheap). So timing is everything here, so they wait for the price to go down below $40k but it's not going to happen for now. But still a win-win for us, I mean just keep buying at dip and holding. If your goal is short term maybe 3-6 months will do. But if you are hear for the long term then you know what you need to do and have a lot of patience.

^^ And that's the old Warriors that we have known, a deep bench that can score even if Draymond Green is out of Steph Curry has a off-night.

So it was a good rebound from the 2 losses they have, but they are still 1.5 game behind the Suns who took the top spot now in the West. But even with the Bulls lost, they still lead the East though. But it's going to be tough in their next game without Zach.
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do u think about gambling? on: January 15, 2022, 08:57:29 AM
Admit it or not, majority of us here gamble to win money, simply as that.

That's why there are a lot of us who turns into gambling addict because we wanted to win more and chase money and that's where the addiction kicks in.

So it's going to be very difficult, unless you have self control when you started your gambling journey, but then again, I doubt that is the case.
2424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 04:07:59 AM
I guess I have seen disputes/complain against all the crypto casinos out there. Every day, in the scam accusation section, we have to new accusation thread against casinos. It even includes all the reputed casinos, new casinos. I mean none has an exception. I can't remember if there is a casino that never receive any accusation here in the scam accusation board; maybe betbtc.co is an exception which is closed now. Did you find these ridiculous? Did not a casino run properly? I believe there are issues from the side of the gamblers as well but you can't deny that casinos take advantage a lot of times.

I guess it really depends on the evidence per se. I mean when someone accuses a casino, the accuser should show us some proof. And most of the time it's either the accuser is cheating the casino with multiple accounts, didn't read their TOS or someone who just want to destroy the casino's reputation. I mean siding with the casino though, but it means the burden of proof is on the accuser and most of the time it's not concrete enough.

Boom muh knicks got cam reddish from the Hawks for Kevin knox and a highly protected Charlotte 1st round pick.  Knicks fleeced the Hawks here.  Kid is 22 jumped his 3pt % 10% almost to 40 and is scoring decently when he gets to play.  Just too many players above him.  How the knicks peeled knox for cam is probably one of the first time in a long time knicks we're on the right side of a trade.  College buddies with rj too, hopefully they can cook together here.

Exactly, there's a lot of players in his position in the Hawks roster so sooner or later he has to go. But the kid has some potential and hopefully he can be utilized by the New York team and give him ample time to display his talent. Although New York is already deep, but his addition will stretch it more and could provide another spark for the team in the future.

I don't know what happened by the Bucks is leading by a huge margin against the Warriors.
Can the Warriors turn it around as we are already in the 3rd quarter and it is a low scoring game which does not favor them.

Pels also leading the Clippers at the second half. So goodluck to all bettors, we still have another good game, Blazers vs Nuggets.

As what others says before, "good or bad publicity is still publicity" so I guess it also applies to bitcoin and crypto as a whole.

Way back in 2017 though, we have a lot of personalities digging themselves into crypto and some of them find it the hard way though that not everything that glitter here is gold, because there could be scams and pulling some rug pulls.

So I do hope that they have learn their lessons and hopefully they are going to investigate before they allow someone to used their names in behalf of a certain project.

Today's game is unbelievable as most of us who bet on the Sixers and the Bulls to win lost.

I guess that's how the games turns unpredictable, I mean the Sixers is really playing very good and have their own winning streak and it seems that they have move on with the Simmons drama. But then again the Hornets win against the Bucks brings them into another momentum. The same with the Bulls, we thought that the Nets is somewhat messy and not in full strength but then Kyrie plays and Harden as well.
2430  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 13, 2022, 05:13:52 AM
How it's really matter when Bitcoin price increase from $40K to $43K only? Actually that's normal due to volatility. Reaching $43K is too soon to predict what's next about Bitcoin, $50K is the strong resistance IMO so I don't expect anything now. It will be good sign when Bitcoin already crossed to $60K obviously it's the time Bitcoin will be bullish and might reaching new ATH.

Yes, for sure we all remember that just last month, we have attempted several time to go over $50K and failed. And it was only with the Christmas pump that we go over at $52K but it was obvious short lived as it is an artificial pump.

So the critical price is still $50K levels, this is where we are going to make or break. If we reach this price and held and sustain the run then maybe we are back to the bullish trend, otherwise, we might a boring sideways pattern for a while.
2431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 13, 2022, 04:26:45 AM
If you put a poll here, probably sports betting will be the winner.

As per your experience, slot machine and roulette are not friendly for gambler, lol, because for sure the odds are against you and you will only win if you are lucky. And I know the feeling of being frustrated that after a big win, you will just lost it in a blink of an eye and then emotion sets in. So good move to sports betting and recovering your lost.
2432  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about owning and selling your content on social media? on: January 13, 2022, 03:55:45 AM
There is no surprised here, everyone is on the social media right now. I mean everyone, even Hollywood superstars are into it, it's because selling your content is the king right now. I remember doing some work before, being some SEO/SMM and they say content is the king. And that is still true up to this day, if you have the content regardless of what it was, you can sell it on social media.
2433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 12, 2022, 04:41:08 PM
I pulled the trigger on Philly vs Charlotte. I think the Sixers will continue it's winning streak, so -5.5 for them against the Hornets. And they could even have a double digit win here at home but I will just put a conservative handicap at this is the opening line for them.

Bulls vs Nets, I like the Bulls chances here at -2.5.

So best of luck to all bettors again.

2434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 12, 2022, 10:49:10 AM
I got the Timberwolves -4.5 @1.90 as my pick, they're currently on a 4 win streak and I expect it to continue as they face a struggling Pelicans team. Even though the Pelicans won against the Warriors recently I wouldn't mind it that much as the Warriors were short-handed during that game. I guess the only reason the odds are this close is due to their decent home record but the last time they've met in New Orleans it ended with the Timberwolves winning by double digits.

Pelicans broke their win streak, Ingram delivered a huge blowout in this game with 33 points. This team is really unpredictable, sometimes they struggle, sometimes they surprise their opponent, better luck next time mate.

Not just them, but the whole basketball is very unpredictable right now.

Although I didn't bet on tonight's game, but if ever I will a might go with the Warriors who losses to the Memphis. And now we also have the Pels breaking the Wolves and Brandon Ingram scoring huge but it was very close game and I thought that the game did go to OT with that high scoring game.

Ben Simmons finally finding a new home in Atlanta with the Hawks? Looks like Him and Tobias Harris will be going to play alongside Trae Young. Not sure who they’re getting back but I’m glad to see this saga finally nearing it’s end. I would’ve rather seen Simmons end up in Sacramento, but maybe he’ll be a nice with next to Trae. It will be good to see him playing again and earning a check regardless.

And who will be the players going to be traded from Atlanta? Collins is still very good at second fiddle to Trae Young so it will be a bad move for the Hawks to ship him out just to get Simmons to Atlanta.

Yeah, I agree that Sacramento might be a good home for Ben as they are really in a disarray and needed someone to be the point leader and for sure Ben can provide that leadership.
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Track Record for the year 2022 on: January 12, 2022, 09:57:47 AM
Do you think it will be a good idea to share the gambling habit/amount with other people? I think it's somewhat private if you share everything in detail. In my case, I don't gamble a lot and most of the time, they are very far low from even my weekly earning of signature campaign. I don't think everyone should public their gambling amounts here. That can be risky in a lot of ways.

This is also my take, but most of the time I shared by winning slip without the money that I bet.

And also tells when I lose, but then also not divulging the money involved. I guess it has pros and cons for sharing for bet slip in the community.

And I guess you can go old school, just write it down or you can look at your the records in the gambling platform itself and see how much you win or lose.
2437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 11, 2022, 02:49:16 AM
Despite the fact that I believe that in 2022 we will have a new ATH, in the current situation I am skeptical about the trend reversal in the coming days, and maybe even weeks.
In my opinion, a Bitcoin price drop to $30k is very real.

So hard to speculate about new Ath when people is at fear that we may see another heavy bear season this year and maybe at the moment I will agree to other says that we might enter at that price since for sure people is panicking and want to sell their bitcoins at the moment. I do hope there's a reversal happening so that it can kill the momentum of people who think about more bad days to come with bitcoin.

That's really what's going on here, a lot is in fear because we have just entered the bear season and this could also be different (like the bull run) as it could be very hard to see the price going down hard and our portfolio value obviously is getting less and less.

So my strategy will still be the same, accumulate as much as I can in a bear market, if it goes to $30k then good. And then what I have left right now don't sell.
2438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 11, 2022, 02:07:17 AM
Grizzlies seem unstoppable at the moment and their next game is very interesting as they'll be facing the Warriors. I wonder what the odds would be at since both teams look solid.

For my pick I went with the Sixers -9.5 @1.80, Houston playing on a back to back and their losses are usually by 10 or more, we could see another convincing win from the Sixers since they're on a tear these past few weeks.

Good pick mate, Sixers are now leading 15 points against the Rockets.

Well I pick Bucks against the Hornets live betting. The Hornets are leading almost all the way of the game but the Bucks are coming back in the 4th so it will be very interesting game and I'm thinking that it will be very close and it could go into overtime.
2439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bullish Scenario - Minimum will reach $75000 on: January 09, 2022, 10:53:20 AM
I think a bullish bitcoin scenario will occur in this year to reach the target price of $75000. Although the bitcoin market is still tending to be depressed since the beginning of December 20221 until now after a sharp sell-off. However, I think as early as 2022 now, I predict that Bitcoin price will appear to be on an upward trajectory of up to $100,000 at least in Q1 2022. Therefore we expect at the start of this new year, bitcoin price to rebound again.

Everyone wanted the price to rebound again, unfortunately, at the start of the year, the bullish market is but all gone now and has been replace by the bearish market. And I tend to agree that history might repeat itself again, like 2018 wherein it is the start of a long and bearish cycle after hitting $20k as ath. Sorry to burst the bubble but I disagree with you, it will be very difficult to rebound and reach a upward trajectory of $100K.
2440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 09, 2022, 10:17:57 AM

I could say that Ugas is tough and good but beating up Spence is something like a wall.

That's an overstatement but I respect your personal opinion. We can always say that an undefeated fighter is tough to beat but they also has their weakness just like when we think that Ugas could never beat Pacman as Pacman is so fast, but look what happen, it was a complete opposite, Ugas dictated the fight and clearly dominated the Filipino champ.

I think it's just the facts though, no one has beaten Spence so far so maybe that's what his comparison is, like a big wall in front of Ugas. For me, it's not about Pacman's speed in Ugas fight, we all know that Pacman is no longer in his prime and could have lost to Spence if the fight push through. It's that Ugas is the better fighter that night and he was able to negate Pacman's advantage like hand speed and angles.
