2421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are easy to trade? on: March 23, 2021, 10:14:50 PM
Be careful, because the coin that you have said is a new coin listed on the exchange and it could be under the hype group that easy to manipulate the price.
I hope you're not shilling this coin here too.

There's no easy coin to trade if you know the price will always fluctuate which makes the coin so volatile in the market (unless, if you could predict the market like having a crystal ball), including the price of those leading cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.  However, as I see, this coin is in USDT trading pair, IMO it could be easy to manipulate.

Good thing that you can able to make a profit while this coin is on the hype but be careful because it might a short period of time of happiness and then later on that coin will dump so much.  My advice, "Dont put all your eggs in one basket" or much better stick on Bitcoin investment while it is dumped.
2422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $20K to invest in coins - Where to start? on: March 22, 2021, 11:37:51 PM
Let him understand first what is a cryptocurrency and his willingness to take a risk despite the volatile nature of these digital currencies.  And next, suggest only BITCOIN nothing else and stick to this because that's AFAIK safer than other projects in the crypto space.

For now, the market was drastically deep down, which means Bitcoin had a correction the price and any time soon it will pump up again and that's the time we will take profit and it might be good if he will take the opportunity to invest his all money but at least the capital that you want to invest in the amount that you can afford.

Explained very well also regarding properly storing of Bitcoin.
2423  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Is electrum a theif? on: March 22, 2021, 11:22:15 PM
OP, Electrum isn't a thief, you choose this wallet without properly oriented and you should ask for guidance first before using Electrum 2FA wallet.

All you need information regarding all the said above was on the link below, read and understand first because this wallet was held by a third party called "TrustedCoin".

Read and understand this link, https://api.trustedcoin.com/#/electrum-help and I hope you will learn from this mistake and it won't happen again in the future.
2424  Other / Meta / Re: [Compilation] All pranks that was made by theymos in every April Fools Day come. on: March 22, 2021, 11:03:52 PM
Yeah, we're almost there and it might everyone forgot that there's April Fools day coming.

Maybe we log in & we are effectively carrying somebody else’s username?
And surprisingly, you thought that you've open the satoshi account. Cheesy

I think theymos is now busy preparing for his prank, maybe it's all about vaccines since viruses on our profile have been done and cured. (who knows)

Anyone can guess what it is?  Cheesy

Edited: Thanks for bumping they're now aware of April Fools day near to come.
2425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bicoin is making many rich how did satoshi come about this idea on: March 21, 2021, 10:56:01 PM
Frankly, when Satoshi first launched this idea, he did not anticipate that exchange platforms would be used for trading at this level. In my opinion, it aimed to create a currency like fiat currencies and then I think it developed quickly, independent of even its control. If we look at it this way, we cannot compliment satoshi much.
That was exactly how he intended to create Bitcoin if you will read carefully the Bitcoin Whitepaper, the intention is to become an "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System".  And right, for how many years Bitcoin has been used as a fiat but due to the fixed amount of Bitcoin, this goal was a failure because people think that Bitcoin is good for saving value not as for the fiat as we know that the value continued growing up and people keep accumulating Bitcoin as much as they can.

We must be thankful for what Satoshi's discovered and every one of us gets benefits from this until now.
2426  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: how to change trust wallet word phrase or security on: March 21, 2021, 04:34:10 PM
If OP lost the 12 words seed, unfortunately, that's unrecoverable.  Upon wallet creation, there's a TOS that you agree with, "I understand that if I lose my recovery words, I will not be able to access my wallet.", see on this article for further information.

But if you lost only your password not the 12 words seed, that is very easy to change.
Clear cache the app -- open your wallet app -- click "I have already a wallet" -- select "Multi-coin wallet" icon -- Enter your 12 words seed -- and create a strong password.  Everything is recoverable if you have a recovery seed, remember always "Not you key, Not you Coins".
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance smart chain is centralized ? on: March 21, 2021, 04:08:39 PM
Isn't convincing that Binance chain is decentralized, it's likely centralized because I saw before that they owned 50% of staking nodes.  If we compare this BNB to Ethereum when it comes to staking node is far different.  AFAIK, with more than 10k nodes on PoW and moreover 100k validators on PoS this Ethereum can completely be called decentralized than the BSC.

For now, BSC is a primary tool that traders used to save the fee but not storing the value, unlike Ethereum.  So, investing in their stock market in a long term is very risky, we are here for Decentralized Finance for a decentralized nature.
2428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 million BTC wallet on: March 20, 2021, 11:40:36 PM
I recently learned that there is one wallet in the world with 1 million BTC attached. Who do you think it could be?
You need to get your facts straight, you are a newbie so we get it but it is important to look for this information by yourself, it is believed by some that satoshi does in fact posses 1 million bitcoins making him by far the biggest holder in the world.
There's no source to this assumption and might this theory is true or just a rumor.  It might be Satoshi holds a Million of Bitcoins but not on a single wallet.

The good thing about Bitcoin is you can hide your wealth without knowing others, who knows if there's a Bitcoin address hold that big amount but I doubt it was a long time ago or the pioneer of Bitcoin.

Forget about it who held a huge amount of Bitcoin in a single wallet, that's none of our business.  It's good if we accumulate our own and aim to store one million Bitcoin in just a single wallet and publicly reveal it.
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bep20 token sent to ERC20 address. Can recover? on: March 20, 2021, 05:19:59 PM
BEP2 is not BEP20, for BEP20, it is compatible with both BEP2 and ERC20. The coin is not lost, he should contact coinbase customer care. If assuming a noncustodial wallet is used, it will be easy to recover back the token.

Quote
https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/bep-20?amp=1
BEP-20 is a token standard on Binance Smart Chain that extends ERC-20, the most common Ethereum token standard. You can think of it as a blueprint for tokens that defines how they can be spent, who can spend them, and other rules for their usage. Due to its similarity to Binance Chain’s BEP-2 and Ethereum’s ERC-20, it’s compatible with both.
Thank for the clarification and I thought before they are the same because they are all under on Binance smart chain.

But the problem here is on Coinbase's side, that they don't support the Bep20 token that under on Binance chain, as they said on the Reddit support, "we are unable to support it".  I hope too that they will support regarding issue because I saw the same cases like OP said.  There's nothing you can do is to contact them and wait for the result, you might also scan your Bep20 token if there it's a Coinbase address where you sent the Bep20 token using Binance Smart Chain Explorer.

Please update us OP once your friend recovered his Bep20 token.
2430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bep20 token sent to ERC20 address. Can recover? on: March 20, 2021, 04:48:21 PM
Unfortunately, Coinbase didn't support an error like this and it might be lost forever because they had different networks, the ERC20 under Ethereum network and the Bep20 under the Binance Smart Chain network.

The same thread on the other forum and this was the reply of Coinbase support.
Because BEP-2 is a Binance Chain standard
we are unable to support it.

While we cannot recover funds sent to Coinbase using BEP-2 at this time, if Coinbase ever decides to add the BEP network to our platform, please let us know then so we can see if the funds would be recoverable at that time.

Just try to contact them if they now support the Bep20 BSC network, since that thread was 4 months ago.
2431  Economy / Exchanges / Re: withdrawal stuck on Binance on: March 20, 2021, 04:05:30 PM
I tend to agree above that you must wait until working days since now we're on a weekend.  AFAIK, most banks transfer funds within an average of 3-5 business days, sometimes it varies in which country you are because it has a different time frame make the bank transfer delay worse, and probably you know already this.

I think there's no need to submit a ticket on Binance, I presume that it will be the answer by them, you should wait for 3-5 business days.
And yeah, that's Binance, there's nothing to worry about.
2432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Supply Be Manipulated? on: March 20, 2021, 03:35:45 PM
Will it be possible to increase the supply or even make it infinite if someone was able to crack the code?
If there's someone who will be broke the code protocol of Bitcoin, it might change the fundamental principle of what Bitcoin had.
Like:
  • Pseudonymous
  • Irreversible Transactions
  • Open-Source
  • Decentralization
  • No censorship
  • Max supply 21 Million

However, it's theoretically that it could be changed as what said most above but there's a consensus, through hard fork everything will change that should be adopted by the co-developers, users, and the miners the new Bitcoin code.  We have now so many Bitcoin forked coins with infinite supply, since Bitcoin is open source and you can modify the code, they can create new coins and copy cat from Bitcoin code but it now a different name.
2433  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying and selling on this forum on: March 19, 2021, 05:08:05 PM
it will be very nice if people believe in another people but I think buying and selling on this forum might be risky and your money might be loss.
Dealing with random people whom you don't know is quite risky and you're right.  But it's different here in the forum, we have a trusted Bitcointalk escrow service that can act as a third party for both buyer and also the seller that makes transaction smooth and safe.

But of course, they will support the trades between the buyer and seller if it is legal in your country, if it is illegal in your country, the same as well here also it is illegal.  Making a physical or any digital transaction online must use escrow service, much better to pay a little for them than to say sorry if you were scammed.
2434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin get back to 60K this week? on: March 18, 2021, 05:44:23 PM
There's no infinite growth of Bitcoin price but we always witnessed that there's always a new ATH that comes right after there's a correction, and then there's resistance after the correction's come.  The flaws always like that, even though we can't exactly predict the market price but as we see, Bitcoin price in the market still seems in a healthy position.

We can't hear a clear answer to OP's question and everyone can speculate on its own.  Bitcoin price might down or goers up by next week, but I didn't monitor my portfolio in a short period of time, Bitcoin always has growth in a long period of time, it will always end up at a high price, and it's normal that the price will always fluctuate.
2435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit vs Legacy, fees? on: March 18, 2021, 05:03:37 PM
I am holding legacy.
Confused, should I go segwit for seemingly lower fees?
First, I tend to agree with all comments above that have more advantages is using the Segwit address which far better when we talk about the fees.  But what is the purpose of switching Bitcoin wallets that supports Segwit address if you aren't regularly having transaction, if you're holding it for a long term, that is okay using a legacy address.

Quote
Pros and cons of each?
It was said above, Segwit wallet is for the reduction of transaction fees, also the best of signature, and in the network optimizations while the legacy wallet address is the origin of the Bitcoin wallet which is having high fees.

Quote
Can you go back and forth?
It is absolutely Yes but it depends on which Bitcoin wallet you've used because there are some Bitcoin wallets that didn't fully support Segwit addresses, nested, or native addresses.  Probably it's better to check it first before you decide to have a transaction.
2436  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: what can i do please help on: March 18, 2021, 03:52:54 PM
Unspent bitcoin
Can you guide me about how can I recover that 'UNSPENT' amount and send it to MY BLOCKCHAIN wallet ?
Unspent, that's means UTXO (unspent transaction output).
It's the amount left on the wallet after the transaction successfully done.

First, you must know what is Blockchain wallet, that is a web wallet that you didn't have control over your Bitcoin.  I highly recommend multisig wallets that you own your private, Electrum is one of the most recommended for the Bitcoin wallet.

yes my wallet i have recovery 12word my computer wallet delete because wallet forgot password  delete old wallet ...
Brute force recovery might the answer to this using BTCrecovery because you only have 12 words recovery seeds and using Electrum wallet is the easiest way for you to recover your Bitcoin left.
Watch this Youtube video tutorial.

Or, follow what pooya87 said.
2437  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Multisig Wallets on: March 18, 2021, 02:25:56 PM
It's pretty good if we protect our Bitcoin using a wallet that has a "Multisig" feature.  A single key might be at risk of losing than having extra an extra layer of protection in our wallet, it has supported of 3 keys authorized signatures that won't work if you will use just only one of them.

Please note that Multisig is adding extra level of complexity and it is not recommended for newbies!!
But it's a good practice to safeguard their Bitcoin against theft or even losing their device than using a web wallet which is most commonly a newbie used.

I saw a list from this article that you might add to your list.
I never tried them, IMO, the most recommended wallet is Electrum.

Anyway, from the article here is the Youtube video explained how Multisig wallets work.

2438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why publicise your wallet address on: March 16, 2021, 11:55:16 PM
Is it really necessary to put it up in your profile?

No it's not necessary, but some members are using that address as a safety measure for their forum accounts with signing a message and posting it in this topic Stake your Bitcoin address here.
This address doesn't have to be used for any transactions and you are using it just as a proof of ownership.
I tend to agree and I also have a Bitcoin address on my profile for the purpose of proof of ownership, we don't know what will happen next when our valuable account in the forum will get hacked.  So, in able to recover, you can simply sign a message on that address as proof of ownership besides on the staking address thread mentioned above.

If you're concerned is privacy while holding a big fund, you can create your cold storage wallet for the purpose of saving a huge fund separate to the address that you've used in the forum, to avoid not being linked from the Bitcoin address that you've used in forum, you may able to use mixer service to increase your anonymity.

There's nothing wrong IMO, putting Bitcoin address on our profile, which we know not all of our fund saving there.
2439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this a good plan for learning tradning ? on: March 16, 2021, 11:37:33 PM
To be good at trading, you have to go with it in a two-pronged approached and those prongs include acquiring knowledge and acquiring experience, in your case, you already have the first prong which you can still improve because learning never stops and knowledge is power as for the second prong which is acquiring experience, you have to get in the field and try to trade, go for smaller amounts of trade or practice in a simulation which is risk free.
I agree. You can't advance in a field only theoretically. You need to get your hands into the game and get a feel of the markets. ATM you an consult the range of books, seminars, blogs etc but you will not be able to fully solidify them without proper experience.

The fact that you already did some research is great and puts you in a great place to just roll with it. Good luck!
I tend to agree with you both, searching and learning aren't enough in trading, you need to have experience in the field and learn more strategies.  As they say, the experience is the best teacher in trading, and the more experienced you had the high chances to avoid losses.

I saw the article that given by the OP, it's just a book that we could learn on trading technically matters.  It's Chartered Market Technician (CMT) which is presumably more about technical analysis.  Probably it takes months before you have successfully done reading all chapters that had on the book.  It might good to try for those who are willing to learn but for me, I'll rather go practice in copy trading on the Etoro platform while learning in trading, IMO.
2440  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Questions regarding signature campaigns/managers on: March 16, 2021, 11:04:14 PM
Hello,

For a signature campaign manager, they hold the funds, and manage participants? Any recommendations for one?
Is better to choose a signature campaign manager that holds your fund and run a signature campaign on behalf of your company.  Because they know much better upon choosing good poster participants and not the spammy one.  However, you can able to run a signature campaign under your management if you want but you need to use escrow here to hold the fund (for safety precaution for the participants not to scam), but the problem is if you don't have experience yet and don't have familiarity with the forum rule, it might easy to pick a good and reputable campaign manager, they can manage well and there's no need to use escrow.

Recommendation?
It's quite not updated but personally try to approach yahoo62278 and Hhampuz through DM.
