I also believe there is a plan behind all this

It's not necessary to keep quoting nested quotes from previous contributors to the thread (especially for such a glib reply).

Perhaps you should just outlay who, where, what and why then let people judge for themselves.
2422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price goes down below 40K and how much it may go down? on: May 20, 2021, 06:22:15 AM
It really doesn't matter what the price of Bitcoins is from day to day if you are looking to buy and hold long term, just set yourself a goal of $X dollars per day, week .... month .... then stick to that amount and watch the balance grow.

I might have to check that site out.  The gaming site in my signature only has some soccer games in the UK and European countries hence my use of the nitrogen sports site.

donatello345 posts a link to the user crsohag0 in the first quoted post by Robicrypto so it seems to me they are grabbing details from other users here and there and does not actually want too join any campaigns.
2425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price goes down below 40K and how much it may go down? on: May 19, 2021, 10:22:02 PM
For the moment Bitcoin has paused at $38k enabling people to take stock of their losses and perhaps for others to work out exactly how much they want to invest in crypto be it short, medium or long term.

(Or if they want to get out of the market entirely)

First off, I make tremendous loses due to being a newbie in this market

Well stop the presses people... A newbie wants to blame the market for their losses!

Honestly, why would you sink your funds into a venture you know little or nothing about then want to blame others when you don't make a small fortune?

Chalk your loss up to a lack of research.

Rinse and repeat.
2427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price goes down below 40K and how much it may go down? on: May 19, 2021, 12:44:02 PM
Sadly I don't think the majority of those who even bought Bitcoin even aim to use it as such. Not that I blame them, the amount you can do with it in most cases are quite abysmal after all, since adoption is still pretty low.

I wonder how many stories of wallets deleted or Bitcoins burned will surface in five, ten or even twenty years time from inexperienced newbies who joined the Bitcoin bandwagon during to Tesla 2021 smoke and mirrors gold rush?
2428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price crushed? on: May 19, 2021, 11:01:06 AM
People new to crypto bought into Bitcoin and alt coins in the leedup to Christmas pushing the price upwards (especially those receiving Covid related govt benifits) by the end of March people were starting to see the price falter.

Then, at the start of May people found the price wavering and they also needed cash so they cashed in their crypto forcing the price back down to more realistic prices.
2429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price goes down below 40K and how much it may go down? on: May 19, 2021, 10:55:37 AM
There's an old adage that what goes up must come down.  As those who swore black and blue that Bitcoin would never sink back below $50,000 are now learning the very hard way.

Always keep in the back of your mind why Bitcoin was created - not as a store of wealth, but rather as a means to make secure payments electronically.
2430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours on: May 18, 2021, 11:11:00 PM
The website I'm using to place bets on the Australian Rugby League (Nitrogen sports) only allows placing a minimum 3000 says ( 0.03 mBtc)wagers and they round up or down on payouts in 1000 sat increments unlike freebitco.in which gives exact Satoshi payouts on bets, so to put a bet in something paying out 1.09 odds, I've got to place a 5000 sat wager for a 6000 sat payout.

This is why I'm taking a punt in higher odds for a wider win.  This year has seen wide winning scores.
2431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 10:16:14 PM
Honestly, I don't think this does much in helping Vegas make a recovery.

The fact of the matter is that physical casinos are archaic, outdated, and bound to be replaced sooner or later.

Why trek to somewhere far away to get bad odds when you can virtually do the same thing,
be treated by an online VIP host, get more rakebacks and rewards at a lower house edge at an online casino? Not to mention the anonymity that online gambling brings.

It's a industry that is bound to die as a matter of time as the novelty wears off.

I've got to admit for me it's a night out on the town - have a meal, something to drink, interact with other people and enjoy the drop of the ball on the Roulette table, or watching the card players sitting hour after hour playing poker, or Texas Hold 'Em.

Live Casino's will always have a place for people to interact socially whereas those who are hard core gamblers will lean towards online services.

Crypto currency Casinos have been a thing for many years now.  If they were going to drive IRL Casinos out of business, they would have done so by now.

Are you suggesting two or three alts giving their merits (en-masse) to another user is proof by itself, or, do you have other proof such as registration dates or wallet address use that can cross-verify your assertion?

The merits *could* have been sold rather than being used to pump up another alt's merit count.
2433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bullion (CBX) 'the Digital Precious Metal' | 2019 Roadmap published on: May 17, 2021, 08:35:58 AM
I've got six nodes:

Code:
node2.bullion.one
24.55.154.69:7695
89.210.233.40:7695
82.21.164.47:7695
95.217.77.209:7695
73.121.220.52:7695

and am stuck at block 3762194 as well.

The funny thing is the SexCoin block-chain ground to a halt on Chainz about six weeks ago while the rest of the network was still ticking over, so I'm wondering if this site (Chainz) is the only one to have a block explorer for Bullion?  Hence the wallets have also stopped?

If anyone had a block hight higher than 3762194, then we could move our wallet's block-chains along too.

Australia has "states" as does the United "States" of America...  I'm sure we're not the only countries that have "states".

Which country and which news service are you quoting from?  Social Media - Twitter? Facebook? Discord? Telegram?  Overheard at the the local bar?

On my Twitter List News and Media I'm following 244 reporters and news organisatons and there's been no mention of anything of the sort.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 01:35:46 AM
How exactly do people prove they are vaccinated?  With a W.H.O. (Traveler's) International Vaccination Certificate?  An online APP?  The article is a little thin on information only reporting that "the board" had made the announcement.
2436  Economy / Reputation / Re: Marlboroza.....!!!! on: May 17, 2021, 01:15:05 AM
Actually he's been inactive since the end of March and came back a few days ago to make a couple of posts.  As a couple of others have pointed out, now that a couple of the more shall we say "colourful" characters have finally left the the forum they either have no one to spar with, or, have other real life things to deal with.

I don't think it's a health issue as they probably would have said something when they came back online a few days ago which makes me lean towards other reasons.  If they are unwell (Covid or other health issues) I wish them a speedy recovery.

I have 4 from 5 in the NRL ATM with The Panthers leading The Titans 12-0.

Storm had a great win over The Dragons after they had a man sent off.
Addo Carr in top form with a hat trick again this weekend.

Just to add insult to injury, the Panthers added a late try and conversion minutes before the final hooter sounded:

Recapping the round:

My Round ten pics are:

Knights, Sea Eagles, Raiders, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Eels, Storm, Panthers,

I picked the Raiders over the Bulldogs, however, my point spread was outside the two point winning difference, so although it they won, I lost out.

Week 11 of the 2021 season:

Glutton for punishment, I'm going to say the Knights, Wests' Tigers, Dragons, Titans, Roosters, Storm, Panthers and the Eel.  (The Rabbitohs might make it an upset win)

Blockchain finally stopped? My wallet does not sync for the last 5-6 days, and doesn't stake, regardless of the fact it seems to be in sync with official explorer, and does have mature coins.

Can anybody look into this?

I know founders are busy with something else, but if this is not fixed soon, their brainchild will cease to exist very soon, as no exchange will support coin with broken blockchain (except Yobit of course, but it doesn't count as a real crypto exchange Grin)

What nodes are you connected to?  Can you post them here please?  I've got five connections to other nodes/peers (including node2.bullion.one )

I updated the block-chain a week ago and have just started my wallet which is at block 3762194 (Last Block Time Sat May 8 22:27:47 2021) - and hasn't moved from that block since I started it an hour ago.

Less than 30 minutes into the first half and the Rabbitohs are blazing the field leading 14 - 0 against the Sharks.

The Bull Dogs took the lead in their second half encounter with the Canberra Raiders, but tanked as they have done all year.  The Sea Eagles pounded the Broncos into oblivion yet again and the Knight lost in an upset loss to the Wests Tigers who have been playing a hot-and-cold season for stellar wins and stellar losses so far.

Am looking forward to their arrival in the not to distant future.

Thanks.
