The switch point is PoW block 17500 (not overall (PoW+PoS) block). This will be reached in 3-4 days from now. Initial PoW Payout 512 coins per block will last about 6 more block-days. Then the payout will be halved to 256 coins. From this point on, the payout will be halved every 10 block-days. Superblocks will remain the same as before. Once the payout reaches 1-2 coins per block, the PoW blocks will be cutoff and no PoW will be allowed. After it, the coin will become a pure PoS coin. The reason we decided to change this, is mainly for security reasons. As the very low PoW payout will cause very low hash rate, and the network is vulnerable to be attacked. PoS payout and super-PoS blocks will remain unchanged. With updated payout scheme, the total PoW coins will be about 18.2 millions and total coins (PoW + PoS) is estimated at about 50 millions. pls send emails to pools and exchange platform, ask them update the wallet and source code. thank you very much dev! |

Guys you really pushing the dev team hard, this is good for you. You asked before anonymous thing and we started works on it and already spent many hours for it. And now you're asking reward drop and horrifying us multipools at recent +30 posts. What can we do? :-) This is why we are SUPERcoin... So we plan to reduce payout, to make it less attractive for multipools. But i need some extra support from community it's being little painful and it will require hardfork and all exchanges, pools, block explorers, etc has to be alerted and quick otherwise it can turn to disaster. I'll let you know about time but it will not be today or tomorrow. We need to organize our times.

I love your attitude in your responses!  Anonymous transfer should still be #1 priority over hard fork. Once it is proven to work, community will GROW much bigger and this coin will get much better publicity. Once the reputation has been earned, you can then improve the coin even if it requires a hard fork etc. Multipool mining SUPER is NOT that critical right now. It's not as bad as some make it out to be. As it's a PoW coin, it needs miners. Be it multipool or not. Once SUPER is more respected, direct miners will increase. Let them mine. It allows non-miners with a abundant supply of coins on the exchange to buy off. This means more distribution amongst more people. That's a good thing. No need to stop that so suddenly. SUPER is currently not well distributed. Due to a tiny number of people who bought/mined. This needs to change. Multipool actually helps with distribution if the coin becomes more popular. Once it is better distributed and gained in market cap, then we can worry about inflation. So please go with anonymous feature first. It's important to get this out first before many other coins do. It's a race between which coin has the best capable developers and technical features / differentiators. Just changing a PoW coin into PoS does not guarantee in better value. yes. Thank you for your great support to us. thanks for your quick reply dev. i have engaged with altcoin more than one years, have seen so many good coins just killed by Multipool. i do hope supercoin has a bright future, because we are super! From my altcoin experience, there are 2 things are really bad for altcoin. First is coin inflation, because everyday if we have 0.3 Million supercoin, if the price hit 10K satoshi, you will need 30BTC buying support, that's ok with current circumstances, but if the price hit 100K satoshi, you will need 300BTC support everyday, so it's impossible for nowdays coin, that's the reason why dark and XC and VRC coin has very low inflation. i also hope supercoin has a lower inflation. Second is the Multipool, they will control everyday's coin supply, after they mined this coin, they will dump it soon for profit. so based the two reasons, i would like to advice to reduce the block reward more quickly and keep the total amount fixed or also can reduce the total amount. otherwise the price is not maintainable. so how about reduce the block reward every week and at some point keep it at a low block reward? so now we have 512 coin block reward, 512--》256--》128--》64 ends （4 weeks） or 512--》256--》128--》64--》32 ends.（ Multipool will not profitable any more and keep lower inflation also small miner will mine this coin）(5 weeks) if we have a lower block reward, people would keep their coin for pos mining, it‘s a better and greener way for coin distributing than Multipool control the coin supply. |

It's wafflepool multipool i guess, they recently started X11 algo multipool. http://www.wafflepool.com/stats/x11 you can see supercoin has %36 average there. Because we have a fair system for miners nobody can benefit more than other miners. And soon or late when we become successful and popular crypto we will be on all multipools, it's inescapable. dev if you change the dark or xc or vrc thread, you will find when they realise the Multipool, they all change the block reward or end the pow period early or reduce the block reward quickly or turn to pure pos coin. I agree with dev, this is a credibility issue. You can't launch a coin, giving certain parameters, and when it went well, in the middle, you say, ok, let's cut the supply by half, and increase the value for those who already hold it. This is more a cheating to me, and will damage the long-term future of the coin. Because several month ago we do not have Multipool keep dumping coins. Sending with anonymous feature will become very easy, just click "anonymous send" checkbox before clicking the "send" button. It is the same user interface. Of course, you can also choose to use normal send if you want. No additional command-line command to use:  By the way, we will try to release the wallet with anon features for tests this weekend. Multipool absolutely effects mining (by reducing the amount of coins paid out to those of us mining) and it also lowers the price on exchanges by forcibly dumping them...This effect is compounded by "would-be" miners switching to mining other alt-coins which have better price margins, in an attempt to sell them off and buy more Supercoins in the exchanges... Which in turn hurts (albeit much much less) the other alt-coin which the miners have turned to mining and dumping... Multipools are a vicious cycle for coins during POW phase... THE ONLY DETERRENT IS LOWER BLOCK REWARDS... This makes it unprofitable for the multipool to mine the coin heavily, and opens up room for those with smaller hash rates to mine the coin. Only when many miners/investors all hold adequate amounts of any coin is a truly diversified and "decentralized" system of control produced (this is why miners hate premines so much)... This is by far the best course of action for any coin that is truly looking out for the community, unfortunately this is also the worst case for large holders (one's who aren't in the coin for the longterm) and for dev's (as this provides the most steady growth, but takes much longer to make gains so the profit margins are not as big as letting the coin rocket, sell offs along the way, and then letting the coin crash)... |

[/quote] 1 yes, if the Block reward is 512 coin, Block time is 90 sec, if you want to distribute 1 Million coin, you need to mine 1953 Block, which will cost 1953*1.5 minutes=2929 minutes=2.03 day but if the Block reward is 256 coin, Block time is also 90 sec, if you want to distribute 1 Million coin, you need to mine 3906 Block, which will cost 3906*1.5 minutes=4.06 days if Block reward is 128coins, will take 8.13 days if Block reward is 64coins, will take 16.26 days so after 3 halve we can keep the Block reward @64 coins, that's very good for supercoin's future, Because Multipool will not profit much if even they control everyday's coin supply, also ordinary people still have the chance to mine some coin from pos, that's more fair than Multipool control everyday's coin supply and dump it soon... would prefer to reduce the Block reward ASAP in this month. then after 3 halves, the Block reward is 64 coin. that‘s a reasonable amount compared with dark coin or vrc coin. |
