2421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: July 02, 2015, 07:06:25 AM
Holding now is the most viable option.  I sl would hold until the halving next year.  That will push up the price a bit.
2422  Economy / Auctions / Re: CloudMinr.IO account with 6400 Ghs - Starting Bid 3.5 BTC on: July 01, 2015, 11:22:14 PM
No doubt they are ponzi and can go down any minute. Given that, it is totally irrelevant how much you invested - all is about what the buyer is risking. In this case it is everything.

Buy It Now price and bid from me: 0.5 BTC

Like I said, the starting bid is 3.5 BTC.  If I was willing to accept less, that would have been the starting bid.

6400 GHS for sale at Cloudminr.io

Escrow is a must for such a large transaction.  Quickseller or Master-P preferred but any trusted escrow will work.  I will pay the escrow fee.

Current cost to buy this direct from cloudminr is 7.68 BTC

**Disclaimer**  Cloudminr.io IS paying but they have little proof of mining activity and are thought by some to be a ponzi scheme.   Do not spend anything you can't afford to lose.

Starting Bid: 3.5 BTC
BIN 4.25 BTC
Bid Increments .01 BTC
Auction ends 24 hours after the last bid.

OP is probably owner of the website and he will ban this account after trade. Be careful Smiley

Enjoy the even more negative trust for accusing me of something without any validity.   Good day sir.

Do you have your proofs to back up your accusation?

I can guarantee he doesn't.  Just another troll talking out of his ass.

Do you accept escrow?    Also, will you set up the site on MY server or yours?
2429  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetMoose.com - Betting Exchange | Prediction Market | Real World Events | P2P on: July 01, 2015, 05:07:35 AM
This site seems like a great place for people like me who like to bet on literally everything.  Betting on sports is fun, but really, how many people can say that they are addicted to gambling enough to have bet on the date of the first hurricane warning?
2430  Economy / Gambling / Re: DoodleDice(dot)tk - new dice site on: July 01, 2015, 04:58:54 AM
If you want to open a dice site, do it on a paid domain.   Those .tk domains have been a haven for phishing and scams for so long that no one takes them seriously.  Also, providing a bankroll address with a signed message could go a long way in convincing people to play there.

Still available.   I don't check this thread often, so if you are interested in purchasing for the auction start price, send me a PM

Please consider my bid invalid due to the insane amount of scam related feedback you received since I placed it.
2433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about bitcoin on: July 01, 2015, 03:27:54 AM
BTW, for anyone looking to verify signed messages, the brain wallet site seems to not be working.  I created a mirror at brainmirror.me using an old github fork where the verifier is working.
2434  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can't get my head around... probably the most simple part... Please help :) on: July 01, 2015, 03:24:48 AM
Hi guys Smiley

I'm very new to bitcoin, I have been doing plenty of reading trying to get my head around it and understand it all properly, I get some of it but there is one thing that I'm struggling to understand...

The main point of me wanting to use bitcoin is to stay anonymous - That means I don't want any trace whatsoever coming back to me.

How do I get a "bitcoin account"? I understand they're known as addresses, how do I get one and how do I use it to send/receive funds?

What is the best way to get myself a bitcoin address and remain anonymous (can't use a wallet that requires ID or anything)

I have read into paper wallets... Would it be simple enough to create a paper wallet (Offline mode) and use this? But how would I receive/send funds?

edit: Additional question - is it advised to create multiple wallets to help remain anonymous? (eg use wallets as throw-away wallets, used for a week then not touched again etc)

-----------------------

edit2: From what I have gathered - this is my view on the process... Am I along the correct lines? Am I missing anything?

1) Open new wallet with a wallet provider
2) Pay Fiat Cash to bitcoin merchant
3) Give him my public address, he sends me funds
4) I send to bitcoin mixer
**(would it be better to use the mixer to send to the person/market I wish to receive my coins or back to my wallet)**
5) Spend bitcoins
6) Repeat (including step 1?)

-----------------------

TLDR:- Need to remain anonymous, how do I get a "bitcoin account" (wallet?)

Please feel free to throw out random tips/facts about bitcoin that could benefit a newbie like myself! Aswell as tips on remaining anonymous and untraceable!

Thanks in advance pls help Tongue

Bitcoin provides "pseudo anonymity".  Meaning the whole difficult to trace, it can be done with some effort.   There are some Alts that are better suited for anonymity because they have stealth addresses.  Take a look in the altcoin section.   I was hearing the name "shadowcash" a lot a month or so ago.   Check to see if that is still a viable option.
2435  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i start bitcoin mining? on: July 01, 2015, 03:20:07 AM
i have researched that mining is an very efficient way of earning some btc (bitcoins). where do i start with mining? should i invest in mining in the cloud or mining equpment? which is better?

These days, with the price of BTC, mining is one of the hardest ways to make BTC.   You are better off either buying BTC with fiat and waiting for the value to rise, joining a sig campaign, or selling another good or service for BTC.   Unless you have free power, it is difficult to make any profit on mining.

Can you sign a message on the account from an address that was posted before the DB hack?
2437  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: June 30, 2015, 06:48:38 PM
This game gives me heart palpitations.   I don't know how something so simple can be so exciting.   I find that I almost always get too greedy and wind up losing my pot though.
2438  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best gambling casino on: June 30, 2015, 06:03:49 PM
Check out my sig.   7bitcasino is very good.   Deposits are credited instantly, withdrawals are fast, and support is always online.    If you play there, they often email you very good promo offers.   They will even match your first deposit with a rollover requirement that is less than most places.
2439  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Brainwallet.org verify doesnt work anymore? on: June 30, 2015, 05:55:15 PM
I attached the mirror to the domain http://brainmirror.me.   I will add an SSL certificate later.   I am using the brainwallet Github revision from late April because that was the newest version with a working Verifier.   Tips to keep the server running would be greatly appreciated: 161pQjfxHdFfTxyfWNjRWgHXd8rpG3qoD2

EDIT:  SSL cert active.  Redirect to HTTPS in place.

Can someone provide a review of server performance vs. expectation?   I would consider using them because the prices are good but need to know how they measure up to the competition.
