The market has been crashing and the owners of alt-coins couldn't do anything,
Some of them are just leaving their project.

Yes the market has been crashed very badly and it is taking more time to see a massive pump these days , yes big whales are eagerly waiting to see a good change but the current market situation is very very bad. I think bitcoin cannot replace fiat in terms of payment, because bitcoin has a great difference from the fiat. I believe that many more people doesn't know that bitcoin exist and some will never believe it. So I think fiat is really hard to replace specially this is a old way of making payment bitcoin is new to the community and people are mostly using fiat. Maybe bitcoin will replace fiat in the future but not today.
I agree its not so easy that BTC to replace fiat, but in reality the world is going behind technology which means people want to see every needs to be happen in convenient way. examples like paypal and google tez app. what I personally feel is anything can happen after 10years from now yes note my words, some developing nation will announce fait will be replaced as BTC to build their economy of their country. |

Scammers are every where across the world they want to cheat that's is their main motto nothing more than that, as technology improves they find new techniques to cheat has became a common thing, Even I have came across lot of scammed projects in telegram. sometimes they ask you to provide your BTC account number and some private keys as well, we need to be very careful and safeguard our-self.

Are you expecting bullrun this time sooner? Because its too early for bullrun to make a comeback so whatever the market is facing now is just temporary or pump ,if bullrun comes there will be no doubt about it

The market can turn up and down thus its not new anymore, its a typical scenario of how crypto works that's why if you see an opportunity to make profit grab it and dont wait longer especially if you're short term trader.
However this is different if you're planning to hold for long period because long term hodler dont mind whatever the current status of the market. There's no need to panic since we have a target price and time frame on when to take profit.
Price drop can happen even less than 5 hours so if you are regretting not selling before it happened dont feel bad, fluctuation is quite normal therefore timing the market and sell once it recover again.
True, I am sure only short term traders will be worried about these kind of quick pump an dump and the long term hodlers will not be bothered about these fluctuations since they have a set target and i personally believe in long term hodl but i will be bit worried if the value of bitcoin goes below the value of $2000 as that's the worst i have imagined could ever happen this year and if things go the right way then bitcoin will see it's highest peak till date because i know some of the big whales have sold huge amount of bitcoin which led to crisis and repurchased it under the substantial price to repeat it again but before they do that the price will rise again for almost a quarter which will bring in a lot of changes in the way market operates if the prediction is true. |

Don't be just so excited yet, it could drop back any time soon probably by Thursday since it's just a minor price rise. There seems to be a major resistance at 4K. You should start getting excited when it goes 5K and above.
A good advice,on point.You just needs to have patience now there are huge support on the 4k mark so we have a highchance of bitcoin not going to drop its price below 4k Yes that's true as we have seen too many temporary pumps which are not even more than $500 but users go crazy and starts investing like there is no tomorrow and then again sell it out even for minor dump thus causing more damage. People need to understand we can call it a pump only if the value of bitcoin stays above $5000 for over 3 to 4 weeks. We cannot judge the market by just the pump or dump or few hundred dollars for couple of days time. |

Boring 2019? We have just started and there is a long way to go. The first quarter results doesn't demonstrate the ability of market it's just a matter of time. We are still in the bearish market which is expected in the first quarter as last year's predictions were just hype not a reality. If you want to see a massive pump then hodl and wait for your day.

Obviously this hard fork does not affect the price of ETH and the market when it has delayed until the end of February. This is just an update and it does not create a new altcoin so we do not need to be too concerned about hard this fork

Delay is happening only for the sake of bear market else they could have listed it on good exchanges. Early 2018 I had different altcoins via bounties, airdrops and small investment in ICOs. But the major mistake I made was waiting for bull run to come so I could sell and make large profit. But atlast the bull run never came. So I had to keep hodling till I got stocked in the Bear market.
I think you all should learn from my mistakes and never wait for bull run because nobody knows when the bull is coming because of the volatility of the market. Sell when you have decent profit and not waiting till you have a large profit. Thanks
You are right a lot do the same mistake, In my opinion it's not good to hodl bounties and airdrops it's completely luck when the tokens are listed on the exchanges you need to sell them immediately to see a descent profit rather than waiting for a big amount. |

My first choice is BTC and the next is Ethereum as it is a promising coin in the market and a star competitor due to ridiculous market situation. Ethereum platform is really awesome when you compare with other alt coins, I am sure ETH is turning out to be a most influential coin in the crypto market.
