2421  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC at $500 means that I am finally in the green, others too? on: May 29, 2016, 10:05:47 AM
Well, gold has always been good to me. I think it'll continue to be a good store of value as a commodity, at least into the near, and mid term future. But bitcoin will definitely serve the same purpose as well.

Especially with the upcoming halving, should always hold. I am in the green now too, it's a great feeling and it's gunna get better Smiley
2422  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: May 29, 2016, 10:03:05 AM
Whenever I can afford to save and buy bitcoins, I buy. I buy regardless of the price, because I believe in the long run everything will equal out. I'm buying for the long term investment, not as a short term one.

It's dumb to wait for a price decrease, because you can never tell whether it'll ever decrease again.
2423  Other / Off-topic / Re: When was the first time you bought bitcoin? on: May 29, 2016, 10:01:28 AM
Around 2015. I was still a newbie back then, and the bitcoin price had crashed below $300. I bought in around 0.03 BTC, that was my first bitcoins ever. It was a smooth trade on localbitcoins.

I wish I had bought more back then, because now the price is more than double that figure. Oh well, we'll get another opportunity Smiley
2424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your predictions for 2016 on: May 29, 2016, 09:59:11 AM
Here are mine:

In 2016...
  • Bitcoin price will fall below $200
  • New altchains will start taking over Cryptoland
  • Bitfinex will likely go bankrupt
  • Altcoins maket share will grow significantly
  • Meanwhile Litecoin price will fall below $1
  • And ETH price will touch (or will be close to) its pre-sale
  • At least one Chinese exchange will be shut down
  • First altcoin w/ market capitalization > 1M BTC

Make yours. Time will tell who is right...

So far you have been proven very very wrong. Bitcoin has barely went down, let alone going below $200. It has just recently achieved over $500 USD per coin. And it's no surprise either.

Since the halving is still upcoming, I would estimate a further increase in price to around $700 when the halving happens. See if I'm right Tongue
2425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 29, 2016, 09:57:23 AM
If I was rich, I would have so many better things to do than gambling and sitting in front of my laptop all day. Simply not worth my time gambling even if I am guaranteed to profit from it.

If I was rich, I would invest instead of gamble. Investing is what gets people rich, and keeps them rich.
2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your casino deposit bonus experince? on: May 29, 2016, 09:55:19 AM
I've never had much success with deposit bonuses. I simply cannot hit the target in the time frame. Like Betcoin.tm offers a really lucrative deposit bonus, but it was impossible to actually claim it.

But with DirectBet's no deposit bonus I've had some luck with. I guess no deposits are better than deposits, huh Tongue
2427  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: May 29, 2016, 09:53:47 AM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

Definitely bitcoin will become an international currency, because of the way it is structured and how it can be used all over the world, instead of being a property of one single country.

Transacting with bitcoin is pretty easy. Just do what you're doing right now, send and receive. You only need a QR code to do so. No big deal.
2428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to LEGALLY withdraw bitcoin to Credit card? on: May 29, 2016, 09:49:22 AM
Hello.

I have an apparently simple question... or it is complicated?
I have bitcoin.
I wish to buy things from websites that only accept Credit Card.
My bank does NOT allow bitcoin.  (don't change the subject by wasting our time asking about this.)
I do NOT have a USA bank account.  (They seem to allow bitcoin cashouts from virwox, paypal etc)

So without further explanation, just pretend I have NO bank account.  (as they don't allow ANY bitcoin related transactions, virwox, coinbase, or any known bitcoin broker will LOCK the account).

So what can I do to shop online?
Gyft only works for some things that have gift cards.
No I am not shopping Amazon. (purse.io)

Can I buy Visa or Mastercard gift cards online somewhere?
I know someone here is an expert.

help a guy out?

Dude, grab a virtual bitcoin debit card. It's so simple to use. Sites like e-coin, bit-x etc. all offer it. Spectrocoin also does. The hard part is not converter money from BTC to credit card in USD, it's the opposite way around.

I suggest you check this out: https://www.deepdotweb.com/2015/03/09/bitcoin-debit-cards-a-real-comparison/ Very important to understand who you're dealing with.
2429  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you hate about Bitcoin ? on: May 29, 2016, 09:42:56 AM
I don't really hate anything about bitcoin except about this forum. I love the current forum layout(I'm sure many will agree with me), and I think the new forum software takes away all the fun to the forum.

I could be mistaken, the beta version of the forum might not be refined yet, but currently speaking I don't like the new design of the forum.
2430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 29, 2016, 09:38:47 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

Because of the joy of watching your balance grow. Sometimes I set myself a target to reach for the day, and I'm not bothered to do the tasks and surveys because they are so time consuming, so I gamble instead.

Of course, many times I would lose. And sometimes that loss would come at a disastrous moment. So never gamble.
2431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 29, 2016, 09:36:56 AM
Hi guys,
How can I earn 1BTC a year?
is it possible? if so how?

By the way, my brother is already member of this forum, will I(or he) problem if we use the same IP but different PCs?

Earning 1 BTC a year is pretty easy. It's only $500 a year, which is no big deal. Most people earn that in a week, and have enough to buy themselves a good lifestyle from the leftover money.

I suggest you just work in real life. It's not even difficult. Go work at a fast food store. They pay around $5-10 an hour, so you can work for like 2 weeks and get your pay.
2432  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Greatest amount you have lost on a Ponzi? on: May 29, 2016, 09:33:03 AM
I lost around BTC0.7 in Coinsdouble. It was really really stupid. I was still new to the bitcoin scene back then and I didn't know about all the scams and ponzi schemes going on within it.

I fell for it very stupidly, thinking that it would pay. But later I realized that it was a ponzi, and I never invested in one again. Better learn the lesson late than never.
2433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a successful Trade? on: May 29, 2016, 09:27:20 AM
I once demonstrated a trade procedure for a friend who was new in trading bitcoins.  All i did to make the trade successful was to introduce him with localbitcoins traders in our region.  And he said that was cool after successfully trading.

If you're talking about trading on localbitcoins, it's easy and it's literally without any risk because if you pick the right person to deal with, and use escrow, you will not ever lose your coins.

I suggest you never deal face to face. Not only will the police catch you, you also run the risk of getting robbed. Never good.
2434  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help needed 105 conformation and still balance is nill on: May 29, 2016, 09:22:39 AM
Hi

yesterday someone send me funds to my blockchain there are 105 conformations now and still there is 0 balance in my wallet

txid is
2fa27ba4aa068f283adca26ced8209c977431c109f590689dd1002c8650daacc

can someone guide me what to do

Providing a tx id with some many outputs does not really help. Also state your address so that we are clear on which wallet/address we are dealing with here.

contact blockchain.info support. don't forget to provide your address.

or try importing the address to another wallet. you can find the private key using this method.

looks like someone got the same problem here.

Contacting blockchain.info support does not really help. They have no control over your private keys nor your password. But yeah, exporting your private keys and importing them again on another wallet is a good idea.
2435  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you like trading or gambling? on: May 26, 2016, 10:51:04 AM
What do you like trading or gambling?BTC

Definitely like trading more because it is more skill based rather than completely luck based. It's not addicting at all - in fact it is proven to be very stressful for me, however it pays off eventually if you do the right thing.

Gambling is purely luck, and it's very very addicting. Trading you can still profit a lot, as long as you know the strategies, and the right pairs to trade with. I usually trade new altcoins, and dump when I think their lifespan is pretty much done.
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: May 26, 2016, 10:47:42 AM
Did you ever got lucky in gambling and betting?  In gambling it will be a great memory to be smiling at if you got the lucky jackpot.  In Sports Betting Luck is minimal it is a kind of chance tosser to back your analysis and comparison for a decision. Usually you need luck when its gonna be a tight match it is like a head and tales result.

Luck definitely feels good, man. Once I turned faucet into 0.1 BTC, and it felt awesome. I felt that I was on drugs or something(Not that I do drugs or have drugs lol Tongue). Just felt that I was really hyped up. It's the feeling that you get when you get tipped by someone on the chatroom as well.

But most of the time with gambling you lose, and you keep coming back for that thrill of being lucky. And you keep coming and coming and coming back. That's how casinos always win in the end.
2437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns: Worth The Time? on: May 26, 2016, 10:45:54 AM
What do you guys find to be the best way for utilizing Signature Campaigns, best methods, and is it worth the time and effort?

To be honest with you, I don't think signature campaigns are a good "full time" job you can have. It's simply too time consuming for such a low payout. It's barely worth the hassle, especially if you are considering joining as a lower rank.

But I do it for fun. To contribute to some topics, while utilizing my spare time to convert it into bitcoins that I can use. Never hurts to devote some time into something that you love, while earning and learning.
2438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like to hoard your BTC or spend it? on: May 26, 2016, 10:45:11 AM
Used to have a slight gambling problem with bitcoin; now I have the exact opposite problem. I love just hoarding my bitcoin transferring all the tips I made in a 12 hour shift into bitcoin is actually REALLY satisfying. Do you guys like to hoard your BTC or spend them?

I find it really satisfying as well when I convert a whole day's work into real legit bitcoins Smiley I just love to see my hoard of bitcoins grow and grow on a daily basis. I don't know, perhaps you and I have the same obsession Tongue

Bitcoin can be a really good savings protocol as well as a store of value, and currency. It has all of the features. Naturally you want to get more bitcoins, and while doing that the bitcoin price will be rising. So bitcoin is both a good currency and asset to invest in.
2439  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ALL LINKS IN THIS SECTION SHOULD BE VIEWED AS SCAM SITES - A WARNING on: May 26, 2016, 10:32:20 AM
Nice thread you've got here. Everyone on this forum should view this thread. TBH this should be stickied, and the warning message should become more clear when you enter this section of the forum.

If anyone ignores this post they should be instantly negative trusted since participating in a ponzi equals stupidity and robbing from other people essentially, as your payout is a person not getting their payout.
2440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 26, 2016, 10:29:35 AM
I think that the smart way could be stop gambling. Gambling has to be only for fun, not as an investment. If you play for fun you will do it with small amount of money, if you loose it no problem. But if you take gambling as an investment you will play with bigger money, and if you loose it you have a big problem.
Yeah I agree you should only go and gamble for fun, if you go out and gamble because you need money then you are wrong because it will make you lose even more money. So only when you have money to spend you should gamble.
but did you know most people gambling due they in need money and it's a fact that no matter gambling for fun or for serious purpose like to make money would still leading to a greediness and lost.

I dont think thEy gamble to take away big money they will end up losing if they got high expectation for gambling and i dont really suggest to really your earnings on it because it will end up losing to your part and you will get dissappointed for your expectation, but if you really treat it for past time fun and do it im moderate way well you can still be happy eventhough you lose in gambling
yeah i know and i would never make living from gambling , it's just extra income for me if i win and forget immediately if i lost. so far gambling still make me happy yeah eventhough frequently i lost, is it a sign i have played it in smart way? Cheesy

No, if you feel happy but you lose time and time again, it doesn't mean that you're playing gambling in a smart way. Seriously no offense, if you're not learning anything from each loss and just carrying on the next day, you're retarded.

Come on man, you know you can beat the gambling demon. Just stop gambling. You can spend all your coins on a more worthwhile cause. Stop wasting time on chatrooms, claiming faucets, wandering around for nothing in return. Do something useful.
