2421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 13, 2022, 11:35:59 PM

It ended as a boring fight, probably the most boring fight of Casimero's boxing career, but enough for that, Casimero will eventually surprise us again and i believe that will happen in his upcoming fight with Butler, that surprise should be a positive one.

Different fighters always have a different style of fighting. Maybe Butler can duplicate that style but Casimero

is more prepare in that kind of situation and for sure he will come up with something that his fans will enjoy, we will see
that when they both step inside the right and start throwing punches.

I do expect more action from Butler since he's challenging Casimero from this title fight.

I have no doubt that Butler will do his best too. He's the one hungry on this match since he is eyeing for the title. On the side of Casimero, he is eyeing for another opponent that's why there's a situation before that Casimero claims he doesn't need to do a serious practice because he can surely deal with Butler without struggling.

I hope that was not just a statement but he can really deliver it on actual.
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is difference between HODL and staking? on: February 13, 2022, 11:33:14 PM
hii all
my question is what is difference between HODL and staking

It should be obvious even for a newbie what HODL meant.

Maybe we can focus on Staking in general. In a layman's term, by staking, you will share your coins to be part of that network. Of course, there's a reward for it but it varies per staking terms.

My question is, why you are asking that question? We can have a much more accurate answer if you will pinpoint what you like to do.
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 13, 2022, 11:23:18 PM
Casimero's only choice is to pull a KO or at least win in their match against Butler for him to get Bob's attention and to be recognized more publicly.

That's an obvious thing to do. Casimero losing this match will result in climbing back again to the ladder where he's already on the top. He should do everything to win as that will make him have a chance to face a boxer of his caliber, and maybe, a big fight after that win.

Not just against Naoya Inoue but if ever their deal doesn't work out, there are other boxers out there to challenge. But I believe if Casimero won this fight, Naoya Inoue will be interested again and catch the attention of Bob Arum to now finally renegotiate the former deal.
2424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 13, 2022, 11:17:45 PM
he can shoot without hesitation and his 3 point shooting is even improving IMO.

Not just that. We have to take note that most of Klay Thompson's FG attempts are well-contested. It means regardless if it's defended or not, he still nails those shots. His catch and shoot form is now returning slowly and while he progresses, he will now finally regain his usual form or even a much-improved one.

Lakers on the other hand did a great job to somehow make the game close even honestly, I think it's already a sure loss for me when they are being pinned down with a good lead at most part of the game.
2425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 13, 2022, 11:13:27 PM
I know they run under a gambling license, but we don't know how rigged the machines are, even the Dice rolls for the Monopoly board could be a replay of a video and not a live roll.

That's why I start this topic, I want to know if the people of the community trust in those games.

A good topic for me.

However, I don't know or am aware of the "fair" side of those games. The trust might be subjective but I don't really play on those games due to the fact that I don't think they are really live. I'd rather bet on slots regardless of their respective RTPs or go all-in to sports betting which I found more interesting and my chances of winning are somehow great.
2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 11, 2022, 11:56:12 PM
Most people thinks the Nets won the trade, well I guess I don't have any justifications for that yet but same as you I don't think the Nets won it.
If James Harden will become a good fit in the Sixers system, that would be the pain in the a** not only for Durant and the Nets team but also for the laughing Giannis as you said lol.
Not to mention how well Embiid is playing at a high level this year, I'm not sure but I think the Sixer could form a big 3 for Embiid, Harden, and Harris.

Both teams won the trade. First, Simmons wants to get out badly on his former team, therefore any form of trades involving him will be an advantage for the Philadelphia 76ers as no reason to keep this player on the lineup. The Nets also won the trade as Simmons is surely fired up to play again. Simmons is also not a selfish type of player and he will be fit for whatever Steve Nash assigns him to do.

Let's see how these teams will now performed with their new trade deal.

Philly lost the trade on this one.  Seth spread the floor for embid to do his business now who is anyone fearing on the outside?  Harden does his work driving they are going to jam the paint.  And then 2 future picks while it seems they would be late picks.  They honestly have no draft capital for future trades.  They need to win this year or next or this is disastrous.

Also thinking the same way. Seth Curry now used to work on Joel Embiid and even the former is sometimes not consistent, he's a good front runner on the team. With Harden's trade, the usual gameplay of Sixers will now be changed because it's very clear that his specialty was always an "ISOLATION" play where he will be the main scorer.

But let's not think on advance. We should see the result of that trade and what they will bring on their respective teans within only a few games played.
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 11, 2022, 11:52:42 PM
I bumped into an article in my social media feed that PBA will allow audience in the arena but with limited capacity starting February 16 and i think there is some truth to it, will post the announcement if i will see it again. It's not fair that they allow audience in the proclamation rally while they are still strict with the game of basketball in our country hehe.

That makes sense lol.

The government allows a mass people on each Presidential aspirant proclamation rally a few days ago and PBA will be again with no audience? There should be no Mathematics or Science in there. That's a crap regulation if they will still not allow PBA to have an audience where in fact, only a few is still watching live on the venue.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Eying NFT!!! on: February 11, 2022, 11:50:04 PM

A good move and if I remember it correctly, they also did a great job in applying gambling-related stuff in the form of a virtual physical casino on one of their GTA releases. I think that was GTA V?

But actually, with lots of service today involving NFT, this kind of news wasn't new after all.

Let's see if the game developers will push their NFT plan and if more people will ride on the possible hype.
2429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 11, 2022, 11:46:52 PM
Wow, that really is a huge amount of money. If you let both fighters fight at their best, Tyson would win. It's amazing to see Tyson still want so badly. His acting career is not going well either. He weighed 160 kilos a while ago, but is now trained again. Logan will find another opponent with a nice name/reputation.

Not a big deal after all if his acting career is not that on an entertainment level but what matters is, he was paid decently because of his fame, name, reputation, and status. Canceling this fight by Tyson or should I say, not participating in an event involving Logan Paul, he thinks that he will just be a milking cow for one of Paul's brothers to earn more within just a few efforts of exposure.

We can now close the book that this fight won't happen by a high chance. Maybe we can still see Tyson on the ring but don't expect.
2430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 10, 2022, 11:33:36 PM
I though Korea is our greatest rivalry? And I heard about the news of revenge to Gilas.
Well, this is still a good partnership after all and most probably will bring a lot of money to the players and the teams which is always the top priority. If the partnership aims to improve every players, this is way more better.

Obviously, it's a different story about National Team. If I get it right, what the partnership should be is focused on the League itself as a whole. The rivalry doesn't have any impact on these since the PH and S. Korea are only rivals in international events.

I also lack any information about the partnership so maybe, I will spend time reading some stuff related to that and see if I can share my own understanding about it here in the thread.
2431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 10, 2022, 11:26:19 PM
Outside Bitcointalk, it's no doubt that 1XBit is having a good positive rating and lots of partnerships.

Actually that's not true. I have seen lots of bad reviews, complaints about 1xBit on other platforms. Their reputation isn't really great everywhere. Maybe you think like that because they spend lots of money on their ad campaigns. Sadly for them, the DT members here see right through them and no matter how much 1xBit pays per/post, it is not going to change a thing.

I don't know for what reason he writes something that is clearly not true. Maybe he is completely unaware of this casino, which has a long history of bad reputation behind it? But it's hard to believe - a couple of minutes of searching will reveal enough information to bypass them. Unfortunately, apparently their advertising works and attracts people who do not do their own (at least minimal) research.

LOL. Do you really think I'm not aware of 1Xbit reputation here? Can you read again my post?

Maybe we have different views about their reputation about their status outside Bitcointalk but I'm not saying they are good overall.

I even mentioned that "It's still good that we continue distrusting the site providing we have lots of good references that properly backed why the site shouldn't be recommended."

Clear now?
2432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 10, 2022, 11:21:55 PM
I was under the impression that a trainer is just a trainer. Technically he could be involved in many times, but I doubt that diet could be one of them. Again, it goes down to the time that Casimero might have issues with his weight. And as we get older it will be hard to maintain such a weight. And we all know that he history of stomach virus that can affect on how he put food in his body. So hopefully the weight will not be an big hindrance for him in this fight.

For sure that was already on the table. After that incident last December that leads to the cancellation of the fight, Casimero's camp should now take action on what to do next to prevent that kind of problem in the near future.

And since Casimero's title is at risk, they will surely do everything not to let that problem happen again for the 2nd time.

Mayweather beat's him, and that is via unanimous decision. We all know that Mayweather is a fast and smart fighter, but unfortunately many would also agree that he is a boring fighter. That's my personal opinion also, a boxer cannot please everyone, he has some fans and haters as well, so we are biased on our judgment, but that's alright, that makes boxing more interesting because of the fans with different views.

The comparison doesn't make any sense. We shouldn't involve Pacman's speed or any other boxers along with his league to the speed of Casimero. You guys have to remember that their respective decision does have a wide gap so it's not appropriate to have these comparisons. And seems off-topic to me.
2433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate? on: February 10, 2022, 11:12:24 PM
$Doge coin and shiba inu takes the lead in the past 24hrs as the most profitable coins after the last dip and here I am thinking it's over for meme coins, I understand that many hated meme coins for their own reasons but Im guessing that adding meme coins to list of your crypto portfolio for future is not a bad plan at all.

Even those people you are referring to hated a meme coin, it doesn't mean they are not involving it on their respective crypto portfolio. For sure, most of them have meme coins like Doge and Shibu but only for trading purposes and not to the point they will believe in it like treating these coins that have a fundamental and strong use case.

Just don't mind then and focus on your own. After all, your money, your portfolio, your rule.
2434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get more women to be involved in Crypto on: February 10, 2022, 11:05:57 PM
I think this is the time for women to engage in crypto because if men can do it, women are capable too as they become more competitive these days in all aspects of life.

I don't understand the key purpose or any importance involving women. No pun intended but is there any significance or impact if women got involved in crypto? I mean, regardless of gender, everything should be in general. There's no such thing for me that there will be any big changes if women got involved.

The bottom line is, just let those women involve themselves in crypto without doing any attempts that they should have to.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 11:31:39 PM
Currently, the team does not have a chance to be successful in the playoffs, when the team lacks players, their chances of winning a match are very low. It's been a bad year for Lebron (:

Playoffs are possible for them but yes, the question about being "success" is in jeopardy. They will also have a hard challenge at the end of the season starting from competing in a play-in tournament on which there's a possibility that they might not make it.

And if successful to take a playoffs spot, they will surely be matched either against the dominant Phoenix Suns or Golden State Warriors. That's already a heavy challenge for them entering the playoffs. And for let's say there's a surprising event happened that they established a long winning streak later on to their remaining games this season, and ended up on 6th, still, a tough team they will face on the 1st round.

I saw a news on the internet, it said: The Lakers have accepted that the Russell Westbrook experiment was a failure Cheesy Westbrook should be traded with a good player.

Maybe it's also a test that they are previously sitting Westbrook at the final minutes when he is off-night throughout the game.

I wonder what's the Lakers' conclusion about it.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is your opinion on the method of payment for bounty rewards? on: February 09, 2022, 11:21:00 PM

Being fair is "subjective" because, in the first place, bounty hunters should accept the fact that their whole month effort or so might not be rewarded with their expectations. In most cases, you are rewarded fairly "with the token" as to how it was tallied but don't expect you will get your expected market value.

Complain if those tokens are not distributed. And actually, bounty works in most cases just become time-consuming because others users are using multiple accounts, or let's say it's just a single account but participating on lots of different bounties contributing to the workloads. And in the end, disappointed because the expected money reward doesn't reach.

From now on, you should understand that's how bounty works. That's why it was even called a "bounty" in the first place.
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are you guys exploring for new coins, and monitoring the exicted? on: February 09, 2022, 11:06:54 PM
Was wondering for myself from where do you guys find new tokens? Huh

The sources aren't secret, it shouldn't be a problem. However, investing in new tokens requires understanding truly the risks and guts. It's like putting your money on something that you don't have any reference for if it will withstand the wrath of the market.

My suggestion, choose instead those tokens that are already listed on big exchanges. For example in Binance, you can check the daily market on who performed well or not. From there, you can select a few tokens to risk and study their daily price movement or if you want to go deep with your analysis, lurk at their respective discussion platform, if any.

Experience will teach you how to deal with your problem. Just continue to move forward.
2438  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 09, 2022, 11:01:14 PM

It's really a usual and common approach before that Bitcoin is creating doubts, uncertainty, and fears. I also don't blame those big companies or individuals thinking Bitcoin is a scam because that's their own view and we can't control it.

As Bitcoin progresses and as time passes by, those who think that Bitcoin is sh*t are now realizing the key fundamentals of the coin. Others even become well-knowledge compared to those who are already in the crypto-world for a long.

The bottom line, without Bitcoin being treated as a scam before, it contributed to the strong foundation built by the community. Let's thank that negativity as it results in much more positivity towards Bitcoin as a whole.
2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 09, 2022, 10:54:21 PM
1xbit? Generous? They intend to spend more now on their marketing because almost all of the users here are now avoiding to play at their casino knowing how bad their reputation is and they are just trying to win back the trust of the people by placing that ads here so I guess its not really good since we still see people get an issue on that casino.

Outside Bitcointalk, it's no doubt that 1XBit is having a good positive rating and lots of partnerships. They are popular even the community here doesn't like the site. Their marketing is quite effective, we have no choice but to accept that fact.

Moving forward, just follow what we believed is the right thing to do. Ignore totally that site like it's not existing. It's still good that we continue distrusting the site providing we have lots of good references that properly backed why the site shouldn't be recommended.

They don't have the majority of those things that are mentioned in the poll, at least based on my own view.
2440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 07, 2022, 11:54:28 PM

Prime for prime I would say that Khan has a slim advantage as far as power goes. However, Brook has some as well and is willing to trade. But since this is a retirement fight for both, I don't see Khan power no more. He can get to Brook but Brook has more chin than him. It's the question on what will happen to Khan if Brook will hit him flush in the face, chances are, he might go down.

After that exposed Khan needs to work more with his good defense, Brook's will try to penetrate and knock him down by hitting his chin. It's a must find a way to avoid and to make sure to throw good counter to avoid that knock out punches to hit him. I would like to see aggressiveness from Brook, though. If he will start strong and try to corner Khan, still anyone's fight here we don't know if what would happen till we seen them both inside the ring.. Tongue Roll Eyes

His glass chin can be easily cover if he always put his gloves up to cover it. Since it's known weakness, He can use it to bait brook to go for it and land a solid counter since he has the power to do it. It's easy to say for us that brook can easily penetrate his defense and aim for his weakness but Khan power might make brook hesitate to go deeper inside just to reach because he be knock out too once Khan landed a series of pretty blow combination while he is busy reaching Khan chin. This fight will gonna a blow by blow fight since both fighter is very aggressive.

Very possible that his training camp work on this strategy, luring Brook to keep on targeting his known soft chin once he got Brooks attentions he can counter a heavy solid punch to take Brook down, it's really exciting to see if how both fighters will bring their trained strategy to see if that will work and if that will give them the win.

Let's wait and witness if how both former champions will try to win this fight and bring noise to their boxing careers

before they decided to walk down and permanently retire.

Surely that was being organized and planned. Not just that but every possible strategy that both fighters can use.

Aside from thinking about each other's disadvantages, they are surely both working on their respective "unexpected" strategy so both fighters might be surprised that something not in the tape can't be seen.

On the day of the fight, that's the only time we can see if their formed strategy is effective or not.
