I'd rather be no one than an emotionally unstable blackmailer.
I'm better off being nothing than a drunk, stoned frenchman going through their midlife crisis.

poor guy...  go back crying to your mummy .... poor teenager
I can do without insults, or rather juvenile tries at insulting the other guy.
I might be the younger one between the two of us, but ask yourself this, who's acting like the kid?

that's not me who has asked publiquely for buying some drugs on IRC .... *
Lauda is not the one banned from ccc, you are.
Lauda is not the one who started insulting people, you are.
Lauda is not the one who threatened to release doxes, you are.
I could go on...

This stuff we post will last forever, right?
As long as someone quotes it, yes. You did so, it's once again a proof of how Defcon talks to other people on here and used to talk to people over at ccc.

Professionalism or lack thereof on this forum goes a long way towards success in business and life.
Sadly, their days as a "coin maker" seem to be over now, even though they might have not realized that yet.
2424  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] - Cat's Mysterious 32 Spot Raffle on: October 21, 2016, 07:17:50 PM
Arent one of the prizes your coins?  Kinda wierd you are rooting against having this fill up because its really a testament of the coins not the auctioneer.  Undecided
Deffy never was one of...how do we put it?...the brightest.

13 september ...21 october... LOL  this Raffle will never be fulfilled...
try to reduce again...poor cat...
Wanna talk failed raffles? Alrighty.

Explain this to me please: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1588771.0 (http://archive.is/3YN6H)

You got 1 entry in your raffle and you want to make fun of laudas raffle?

Now go back to producing fake silver bars, coins without original designs, faking sales, and whatever you do all day long (drink'n'smoke).

2427  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Quarter Bitcoin - Silver on: October 20, 2016, 06:05:23 PM
No i think you are correct that none of the silver wallets were released funded, they are a DIY coin.
That is not a silver wallet. The following are silver wallets:

The correct name for this coins would be Bitcoin Specie (and as pointed out above, it's the Whitepaper 5th anniversary edition, limited to 100).

I like the design of your thread  Wink

I was inspired by you. Hope you don't mind.
I don't. All the best!
2429  Other / Meta / Re: Preview Images Visible on: October 19, 2016, 09:33:25 AM
Something sure has changed. I can't see the images now.
If you for example quote someone (by hitting the quote button), the link will contain a sesc= section, hence images are deactivated in the topic summary.
If you write a straightup reply without quotes (by hitting the reply button), the page you're on will not have a sesc= section in it's link and you will be abled to see images in the topic summary.

so maybe this feature was added to safeguard the forum?
I don't think anything changed in this area on the forum's end. Links and images are disabled whenever "sesc=...." is in the URL, since this is sensitive info which otherwise might be transmitted in the referrer.
2430  Other / Meta / Re: how long is it ? on: October 19, 2016, 03:13:39 AM
3. I thought it was a month so we'll see if we have anyone that can enlighten us with their infinite bitcointalk wisdom.
I guess you are basing your estimation on the part of OP where they claim to have reset their password over a month ago.

I have changed my password for more than a month,  why the sentence still on my profile . ??
Well, tictoc, secloc gives me this:
September 19, 2016, 01:42:54 PM - girlbtc.com - password reset via email
comparing it to the current forum time at default settings
October 19, 2016, 03:12:22 AM
we're still short a few hours to reach one month.

As long as your password reset is still listed in the current seclog, it will also be shown on your trust page.
The correct answer is, as given by cpfreeplz, one month.
2431  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monero dice seed hacked? on: October 19, 2016, 01:08:43 AM
That's a hell of will. Well it can be due to seed compromise. But I know a few players who can roll more greens than him in a row. So may be its 10% skills and 90% luck. Well if he knows exactly what's gonna come next he should not have those reds. I hope that he don't cheat. If he cheated bum his ass
Do you always comment without reading the threads first?
This is a 1.5 page thread, it doesn't take much of your time to read through it and get an idea of the situation, but it seems you stopped doing so right after OP.

Go read the thread, then read your comment and think for 3 seconds, please.

So since I can verify he did in fact win my Xmr and I can verify you guys did in fact add his wins back to the bankroll where does the extra Xmr he wins that were originally my investment end up?
I'd be interested in this aswell, how did you determine which investor got which part of the secured funds back once you rolledback the clearly compromised bets?
2432  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 1BTC Casascius Silver Round /w Gold B - GOLD HEART ERROR COIN - VERY RARE! on: October 19, 2016, 12:15:37 AM
Couldn't someone just take a Casascius and send it to a gold plating company and have it gold plated the same shape or symbol for a decent fee?
Yes. Or to quote casascius on that matter:
"Someone could have done it themselves. I didn't do this deliberately if it came from me"
2433  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Unmoderated] DefCoin poker Bitcoin chips on: October 18, 2016, 11:47:24 PM
I think that it's important that we have a free market here.
If freedom is the key factor, and he's free to sell his crap, we're free to comment on that, right?
His self-moderated thread doesn't allow that, as all comments that could make his product look bad are removed (it's even closed now, sales continue "in private").
This thread allows us to, and is the right action according to the forum rules. Despite some peoples impression, this thread is not to restrict freedom, it's to ensure it.

I posted on his thread asking a genuine question and then he sent me a PM accusing me of trolling.
I pointed out their mistake about Anonymous/FSociety and got deleted right away. It's their way to act with others.

I understand your point of vue, unfortunately I think as cryptocurrencies will become more and more famous in the future, there will be more and more people who will try to create and sell physical crypto, and there will always be people for buying crap...
We should continue to try calling out stuff like that.
2434  Other / Meta / Re: I have a serious question , what if Theymos die..... on: October 18, 2016, 11:38:34 PM
what about the domain, who ever holds the domain owns the website.
IIRC Sirius was the one holding the domain right now, not theymos.
Sirius is also the one who's mainly responsible for the creation of this forum, together with Satoshi.

who is the main founder of this forum? or the first username ever created after the admin
admin is the account with uid 1.
uid 2 is blank and missing, after that there's
satoshi with uid 3 (who also carries a Founder tag).
sirius with uid 4.
uid 5 same as 2 is blank.
nandnor with uid 6 claims to be the first regular user account and was for sale recently.
2435  Other / Archival / Re: Girlbtc.com is copying my work on: October 18, 2016, 10:52:59 PM
While I agree that Girlbtc.com has copied your work, this would be better suited to be put into the Reputation thread, not the scam, unless you are making the allegation that GirlBTC.com is scamming users?
I usually get paid for my work as a campaign manager. Taking it, or parts of it, without compensating me for that is a scam in my book, as it's causing me financial damage.

I can't recall off the top of my head where I've seen it recently, but other UID's have used other UID's works as templates for their own and attributed the original work which GirlBTC.com hasn't done.
There's a thin line between inspiration and plagiarism, which we often see in copyright law. This case however is more than clear.
The user didn't select my thread as a template, they copied 99% of it.

Because you are on the DT, your red flag has been copy-catted by others, which I guess you are ok with / what you set out to achieve - copying of your work.
I'm not on DT to make money, it is however one of the reasons why I manage campaigns.
If someone backs up one of my feedbacks, that is supporting my point, hence helping. Copying my threads is not, it's damaging. There's the difference.

As with any "scam accusation", the obvious question is "Did you contact this person first?"  Are there any screen shots / text of these conversations?  Did GirlBTC.com make an admission of copying your work?
They tried to buy their way out of the situation with leaving me a positive feedback, at which point I decided to not pursue any further PM contact with the user.
"You are a professianal Signature Compain Manager, who make the details clear enough, that's why I choose and copy you , I just put a positive trust on you."

When you say intellectual property, how did you create your own work?
With a keyboard, cherry MX red switches and my 10 finger. Need a picture?

I can do the same here - that is to say leave neutral trust for plagiarism, if you like?
Leave trust up to your own standards.
I described the situation and whether you want to a feedback for it, and what sort of feedback it is, should be up to you.
2436  Economy / Auctions / Re: FORTUNE.bit domain on: October 18, 2016, 10:30:09 PM
sorry for sounding rude but i just found it to be odd the seller would so quickly endorse an escrow i havent seen before, and doesn't have much feedback reputation.
I'd say it's usual that the buyer picks the escrow (of course with both parties agreeing on the ecrow doing that job).
Having someone unknown pop in at the first reply, offering to act as escrow (I don't think they have done that before) and the seller to accept, without having a buyer at that point, is highly odd.
Even more when we see the seller being a newbie account. What guarantees that you're not acting as both, seller and escrow?
2437  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: why so many shorter link at this sub forum ? on: October 18, 2016, 08:56:01 PM
Not every short link network is bad.
Not every short link service is against the forum rules.
You can use linkshorteners like bit.ly or goo.gl without getting any problems from the moderators (at least not for the shortlink itself).

5. No link shortners that requires users to view an ad.

Last weeks payments have been sent (4a148ea0d447cd2eec2e1bfc16e220337389632bc8124c6c933aa3a12caf4e67).

User: Who_
Set your things up and write me a PM, I will add you.

User: Yakdivine
I can enroll you on probation once you've set your stuff up.
2439  Economy / Services / Re: [NEW]★☆★ Bitvest Plinko Sig. Campaign ★☆★ Up to .0007/Post (Newb-Hero Accepted) on: October 18, 2016, 12:36:14 AM
When will be the next payout for the current round? I am not in a hurry, But I just want to know.
This evening, aka soon.
Oh, it's already been sent (0d276e34c5247109e8f3c2e270d5f48515511004669277c4c958525ee19f7d7d).

Do you have avatar campaign for bitvest or 777, or signature+avatar only?
There's the personal text campaign, you can add the avatar to it.

is it possible that I am going to be reserved slot-in with the senior special rates? I am going to rank up next week and after the 17th week round as senior member. Thanks
No.

Hi Lutpin can you kick me out of the campaign, I joined in campaign because i thought of learning about campaign procedure and other inside stuffs, but unfortunately am not able to get much info here,  So i want to try joining some other campaign.
You won't be learning too much about the other side to campaigns (management and the runners) from participating in any campaign, imo.
Anyhow, if you want to leave, there's no need for me to kick you. Say you leave, remove your signature and we're done.

it seems there is not a free spot for Full member, so I know I will have to wait to get promoted, anyway I have updated my signature and I’m wearing the avatar as instructed in the OP. Thanks and have a nice day
It's different for users who already are a part of the campaign, you will be upgraded for the next round.

Good day Bitvest, I would like to apply for your signature campaign.
Write me a PM if you're still interested.

When will we know about the campaign if accepted or not?
I always enroll starting with the round, you're in.

Your Username: absy
Position to Apply: Sr. Member special rates or Bitvest Member Special ( I am Moderator in Bitvest )
You gotta talk about special rates with lightlord. I can enroll you for standard rates, if you want to, give me a quick shout via PM.

User: thisappointed
Enrolled on probation.
2440  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 17, 2016, 03:19:14 PM
No escrow and I'm very sceptical that this campaign will pay out given his previous history.
They just copy pasted my thread, my signature design and even my spreadsheet.
Take a look at my spreadsheet here: http://blender.lutp.in/
And then look at theirs, they even copied my typo, doh.
(You might notice instead of "Total eligible posts for payout" my sheet says "total eligibel posts for payout", surprise, so does theirs)
