2421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: @@@@ ALTS > BTC Change my mind!! @@@@ on: September 13, 2019, 08:52:50 AM
Please convince me why Bitcoin is better then ALTS I would really what to hear your opinion Smiley
Everyone is welcome Smiley
When you mention alts, you have to be specific about them , because we have so many coins in the market that are alts that we don't even need to start debating or arguing on before you know that they should not be compared, but if we are to discuss about alts, we pick the first 2o coins here, and I would not say that bitcoin  is completely better than them, but one true thing that has ever made bitcoin standard out is that it is the only one true decentralized coin that runs on full decentralization which its operation can still not be controlled.

We have some alts anyway that has the functions of bitcoin too like Ethereum and are quite faster, but people will always rely of bitcoin more because of background and being the first, but not like we don’t have alts still performing better.
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is whitepaper important in the project? on: September 13, 2019, 08:31:14 AM
yes whitepaper is very important because the summary of a project's data is in the whitepapper, every time an investor wants to invest in a project the main thing they will see is whitepapper. so the importance of whitapaper because that's the essence of a project.
That is right, it is actually supposed to be the function of whitepaper, most of the solid projects that I did in 2017 caught my attention through their whitepaper, and during that time, whitepaper was far enough to judge the future of the company, but nowadays, it is a different thing as whitepaper is no longer enough to really decide if the project would be useful, genuine or not.

Many developer now because of their childishness, or could I call it laziness just duplicate the whitepaper that they see, rewrites it and then present it to the public as the new concept or a better system to the existing one, this is why I don’t pay much attention to whitepapers again now, I just concentrate on researching more of the team and project eternally.
2423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 12, 2019, 08:15:33 PM
Bitcoin transactions are not anonymous because the transaction can be seen in a blockchain but you can't just see who are the owners of the addresses.

There are some countries that banned cryptocurrency in their country but there are still ways to have access into it. I don't see Bitcoin to be banned worldwide because there are some countries that already accepted it and in the succeeding years, I know that more countries and establishments will accept it too.
If they can't see who the owners are, then they will not be able to tax the cryptocurrency then, and this is what I feel is the major problem of government with bitcoin, but they fail to realize that even in taxing fiat has not been easy, they don’t get to even tax everyone easily.

Government are supposed to look beyond the tax benefit of cryptocurrency but the main economy benefit, cryptocurrency is such a system that generates huge amount of money that I am sure that the operator will generally pay his tax when due, and moreover, people will still one way change the currency to fiat which will definitely pass through their bank, and from there, they can place their tax on the bank account owner, I think these are the chances they still see that has made them not to ban cryptocurrency.
2424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still "Finding Satoshi" then ... on: September 12, 2019, 07:43:44 PM
Of course, people will always be interested in the personality of the creator of Bitcoin. However, it seems to me that it's time to stop looking for the real Satoshi Nakamoto.
Firstly, he himself wanted to remain anonymous and we see that they took certain steps for this. Therefore, his opinion must be respected.
Secondly, the probability of its detection decreases every day, because too much time has passed. Most likely, if the real Satoshi Nakamoto does not want to reveal himself, no one will prove that he is this person.
And thirdly, for bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, it will be beneficial that no one has a patent for this invention and it is considered an invention of the people.
You know that humans are always curious generally and out of curiosity is when we have developed some of the great things we are using now and it could even be out of curiosity that satoshi created what he created, and he would want to see the effect of it having known that the system has both negative effect and positive effect, so he would definitely remain hidden until he sees and he is sure of which of the sides will be more effective.

I believe that the positive sides of bitcoin will overshadow its negative side and once bitcoin is able to take the world to a new and greater height he wishes for , he would definitely come out, but for now, we have to respect his office and decision to remain silent and stop bugging ourselves with all those curiosity.
2425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 05:29:12 PM
I think France has a good chance now. I mean they will play with Argentina and I think Argentina played their best game and now will be eliminated, France looks strong and going very well with both a great team play but also awesome individual talents as well.

On the other side Australia and Spain are both amazing teams, they will beat each other and one of them will be eliminated anyway, doesn't matter which one, it is a shame that they will cancel each other out and only one will come up. That means France will play with a team who is tired after playing an amazing team and came all the way here whereas they will have the superb hype of beating USA and Argentinian which beat Serbia. Hence, from now on my favorite is France but this world cup has been wild so I don't know what will happen anymore.
2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between binary option and gambling? on: September 12, 2019, 04:23:21 PM
The difference between binary option and gambling in my own understanding is gambling is a high risk than to trading but both are risky if lack of skills and knowledgeable in trading in the gambling aaide from the skills it a pure luck and not advisable as spurce of income binary option os part of the trading metho which advisable as source of income in have full skills and knowledge before investing.
I am sorry to ask this question please, with all honesty, do you understand the meaning of what you wrote down here or maybe you should read all over again. No offense please, I just feel you were probably sleeping and typing while dropping this comment but anyway, I have always known you for very constructive post and it is the more reason why the errors I found on this post is quite questionable.

They are both risk and that doesn’t make them different but even alike, the difference for me is that one is a risky game that is worth playing while the other is not worth it at all. If you ask me which one worth is my answer will be Binary option.
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 12, 2019, 03:58:45 PM
As a strategy and money management system, horrible, you are guaranteed to lose or make very unimpressive percentage returns.

However, in short term scenarios when a revert to mean is highly expected, a grid system or a modified martingale can be applied with pleasant results; for example it's a popular approach in FX trading, when after massive moves a currency mean reversion becomes highly likely...
You sound like you have had an experience with the strategy and I feel you are still hurt also. It’s one of those things in the game sometimes we lose and sometimes we gain. I still feel pained to know that I actually paid to learn this terrible strategy that made me loose. It’s one thing to just get to know about a strategy, try it out and it fails and it is another thing to actually pay to learn a wrong strategy.

In 2018, I met a so called gambling expert that promised to expose my eyes to everything I need to know about online gambling and how to become entirely successful and make cool money, I paid about $50 for this lesson and he talk me the best secret to winning in gambling is the strategy which I tried but I lost all my money. It still hurts but I must learn to let go.
2428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 12, 2019, 03:23:21 PM
I have done a couple of times but it doesn't end up great for me, Well I guess it will be on a different story for other people and base on my luck it really sucks, but I guess it really doesn't go that well luck surely take random turns maybe it is not just for me when I play out the side of majority, That is why when taking a bet I would always pick the sure fight, But there are surely some time that the majority may lose I am not just good at picking the right stuff, well that is just how gambling for me.
There is one saying I always hold unto that majority has the game, it is sometimes not true but it is 90% true and accurate, so in my opinion, I will say that it is better to always go with the crowd, this is what I do always. That someone went against the crowd and it flavored him does not mean it will always be that way. It possible that he was only lucky.

I have always been doing this for some time and I must admit that it works well for me, although sometimes it fails and I wish I had hadn’t followed the decision but then looking  at the number of times it flavored me, I am more thankful and fulfilled that I always stayed with the crowd.
2429  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: September 12, 2019, 02:05:21 PM
Anyone that assert or submit that bitcoin has no practical use must have been leaving in space not to have seen how events have been unfolding and how it  has been impacting the Fintech industry. Regardless of hate towards bitcoin, it gets stronger.
In a football field, not everyone in the field that are players or viewers, some are just bench warmers, they are neither interest in playing foo table are even watching the football, they are just there to warm the bench and that is how we have many people in cryptocurrency market that are not here for anything meaningful, they are not a believer and they are not an investor, but I think because they hate good things that would liberate some people, they come to say all manner of things that will discredit the system, and I think that some of us has really go above that and we know what to believe and then hold on to that which we also believe. Bitcoin has been very useful to me now for years and I never regret ever getting to know the technology of bitcoin.
2430  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Halving Countdown and Other Data on: September 12, 2019, 01:34:21 PM
I can't wait to enjoy the halving bitcoin that will happen, because surely the price of bitcoin will experience an increase in price, the strong influence of demand and the effect of the total results for the mining that will have a little impact on the price of bitcoin.
Bitcoin would have started having some increase even before the halving, so the halving might not even come with much surprise. The halving is slated for May 2020 I think, and for the last quarter of this year I think that bitcoin would start its bull run again like it did in that April, and it would do this to next year till it goes sideways for other altcoins to experience their own surge also.

Although the halving will still have its own effect, but I have learnt not to rely on halving again as factor after the halving of Litecoin really failed as my investment in Litecoin is still the same way it has been for a very long time now, and I remember that people were believing that halving bull run with start, but seems that is not how it works really.
2431  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: September 11, 2019, 06:37:12 PM
Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?
now trading is a good solution besides being a bounty hunter, if you have a few coins in your wallet then pay attention to the prices on the market and don't sell at low price. about safe trading I recommend that it is Binance because many people trade there.
This suggestion is suitable for coins like Ethereum, bitcoin and some top coins that we have in the market, or any coin that you feel has a very real use case which I dint think that we have much of them right now other that the top 50 coins. Taking decision to sell some altcoins when they are down has never been a mistake sometimes.

There was a time that Docademics came to the market and I got my campaign allocation from them , the value of the coin raised from 0.01 to 0.3 within a short space of time, it started dropping and at the point that it dropped to 0.2, I sold my coin, and everyone was blaming me for doing so after they read the whitepaper, but ask me what the value is today, docademics is back to 0.01, though I still believe in the future of this coin, but I would have lost out if I had not taken that decision to sell.
2432  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: September 11, 2019, 05:54:44 PM
We have our own differences when it comes to our status in life, not all of the people in the society have enought fiat to buy something as an investment or because it is their needs in their everyday life, that is why the "common man" that you've said use loans in order to buy something that he needs or his family needs, it is an alternative to survive every single day if it is really necessary to buy something really important, it is recommended rather than doing something illegal just to get something that you want.
Yes, there is no one that would be happy to ever be borrowing loan to make a living, it is really a condition that probably got them to that and no one would not wish to make an investment even if it is loan.

I was reading an article today, where there was a statistic on saving level of each country in respect to their citizens, and i found out that after even earning so much, some even have negative savings, it mean they are even owing their country ahead of the following year, so how would those ones be able to make investment, but as a business man, he is not limited to an amount of money he can get in a year, so he can easily get loan for investment because that is where the source of his money his coming from and that is the sole area of concentration.
2433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We love you Bitcoin" - Jack Dorsey ( Twitter Founder) on: September 11, 2019, 01:48:54 PM
You see, people who are making their own cryptos are usually not the fans of Bitcoin and other major currencies. They can see how Blockchain can be profitable and want to utilize it for their businesses, but they also want to stay in control. Facebook banned crypto ads before announcing their own project, let's not forget that. At the same time, Jack has been an admirer of Bitcoin and things related to it (for instance, he tested the LN if I remember correctly). So if he wants to adopt some crypto, I don't think he'll make a token, I think he'll use Bitcoin.

If that will be the case, then it would be good for Bitcoin but I think Jack Dorsey and Twitter executives would find an ingenious

way to better monetize their platform instead of adopting Bitcoin  yet I admit that it could also be a possibility and if this happens,

then the crypto-community would surely rejoice if they would integrate Bitcoin into Twitter. Imho.
I think because of many of us lack the knowledge of blockchain technology in adeptly including me is why we think that a company has to create its own cryptocurrency, one thing we need to know is that twitter is already a big company and they have money already, if they will want to get involved in blockchain technology, they are only doing so to better their system not because they just want to start making money for them to develop the project.

There is nothing wrong in them using a single currency that is assumed to be global and independent, it is not like every other cryptocurrency that has its ownership, but it is more like an independent coin that does not belong to anyone, so if they are building bitcoin, they are also doing so too for themselves.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shopify is now supporting Bitcoin Lightning Payment on: September 11, 2019, 01:18:11 PM
I haven't tried shopify but if it is now supporting bitcoin then that's great because it will be very convenient for all bitcoin holder to shop on there site because they doesn't need to use their credit / debit card to shop and to pay for their credits
It was a great deal to me really when I heard that shopify is already accepting bitcoin because I do run lots of things through shopify and payment has been of constraint to me in some areas because of the country where I come from, our credit card is always having issue with some of these international payment which bitcoin payment has corrected because now I can make payment easily without much delays and much barriers on the way.

I hope that there will more other sites like that we are using which will be very useful for many of us. It is good that bitcoin technology is really taking over the entire commercial space as I can see that the majority of ecommerce sites are already working toward implementing bitcoin payment on their site.
2435  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: It is time to change the crypto space once and for all! on: September 11, 2019, 08:25:55 AM
I have also realized overtime that lack of proper education of cryptocurrency is what is still disturbing a lot of us here, and this would back up my fact that fiat will not be completely replaced by cryptocurrency, if at the level of our intelligence and literacy, some of us are still struggling or battling with the use of Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, what do we now expect those who are not as literate as we, and those who are not even literate at all.

I support what you are doing really and I think this will really go a very long way in creating literacy about Blockchain generally, and helping those who are coming into the cryptocurrency space to know why they are here and also to effectively utilize all the opportunities available to the best of their knowledge.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin today on: September 11, 2019, 07:55:29 AM
Yes there are many good altcoins in the market, some of them are waiting for convenient time to hit the market. We have to do a little effort to find good projects by researching on the internet. I also believe only good and potential altcoins will rock the market for a good cause.
If they are in the market already, how do they intend to hit the market again? The moment that those altcoins registered in the market is the moment that they ought have hit the market if they had seriousness in them, but some of them do carry project out and after selling so much to investors with high rewards, they end up complaining after the investor had dump the coin on them.

How would they be able to hit the market if they don’t put some certain things in control, and some of these projects you are talking about eventually lost their passion along the way, they only had passion for the project before they saw the money they have never seen in their life within their capacity and this is enough to stop them from further development of the said project.
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: September 11, 2019, 07:07:11 AM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?
Altcoins generally are not going too well in the market even Ethereum also, because as Ethereum is the king of all altcoins, this is not the position that we ought to have found it also, it lucky to be king of altcoins, that is why it is still having such high value there.

Bitcoin still remain the most trust worthy coin by many investors, and I think it will remain this way till the dominance of bitcoin is down little, and the only thing that can ever make the dominance of bitcoin down is if altcoins starts to encourage customer's then maybe they will start having divided attention and then starts considering altcoins, which means that altcoins has lots of works to do to ensure that their project is being projected to the world out there so that they can start growing.
2438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government-issued cryptocurrencies...Are they the Future? on: September 11, 2019, 06:45:46 AM
The aim and goal of government issued digital currency will be a direct opposite of the real cryptocurrency we have always known. It will not support the vision of Satoshi, because it has always been against the agenda of government.
Government wants control. They want what will be under their power and make people do what they want.

I think the purpose of the government to make its own cryptocurrency is to replace the outstanding banknotes and switch to digital technology. Crypto from the Government will not be a competitor of Bitcoin or other altcoins because it is stable coin
If we allow the government backed notes to survive, we may really never get to see bitcoin become global currency, and then there will be a little bit of stagnation in the development of bitcoin as regards prices, because those community that would have supported and concentrate on one market will have those markets too to choose from.

I personally do not support these government backed notes and the only way we may make sure that they don’t get to see the light of the day is when we don’t make use of it to accept it, at least they cannot force us to use what we don’t want except maybe they pass it into law which will create lost of clash of interest between nations as to which of the coin will be recognized as the major one worldwide like dollar is.
2439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading is a big challenge. on: September 08, 2019, 06:09:20 PM
Of course, temporarily. I do not agree with you that it is not possible to earn. You can earn money, you just need to have the necessary skills that you do not have. And as for the growth, I will say this ... it is necessary to wait for the moment when the big players pick up the position of bitcoin and send it to new heights. We small fish must go with the flow
Only lazy people or people who are not willing to learn fast would always see the disadvantage of a thing without even thinking of the advantage of it, I completely understand that trading is hard, but we still have stories of people who are on a daily basis succeeding through trading and they are making a lot of money, and the right thing they have developed is what you said, “the right skill”.

If any trader have the right skill, it would be impossible for them not to at least trade successfully three times in a month, and trading successfully three times in a month also depend on the capital involved, we have so many people that wants to trade with little money and then expecting something big from the market and I wonder how that is possible.
2440  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: September 07, 2019, 07:46:54 PM
The decentralized part of it plays a big role as well, like you can't play with it the way you want, governments play with money however they want, they move it around like its not a big deal and they do whatever they want with it, with blockchain they wouldn't be able to because if governmental address is know then we will be capable of seeing where the money goes or how much goes there and we will have a chance to ask what happened to that money.

Governments can't deal with blockchain, even the most honest countries you think that is run like lets say Germany will have a trouble because they will have to respond to every single question and eventually someone will do some corruption that will be caught and from then on its a race to gain votes from people and opposition could always yell "thief" to people who used peoples money for stuff that wasn't in peoples best interest.
