which undoubtedly show what songs they are listening to, lots of pictures and hi to every newbie on the board ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) You'd be surprised about the different types of spam that those who scam and those who just want to get paid for spam make. Still spamming regardless, but they're usually not the same.

Signature advertising is great IF you have something valuable to say, it is even more spammy than links, if you go around with your out of contest comments just to stick in your colorful signature. The whole forum is full of ref urls, what is your problem, you wish they were all yours, right ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Nah, I wouldn't clamber to get a millibit. You probably would, even if it involved...more referral spam.

@Noitev, Wich site has the stock photography, Bitfued???
Yes, ref link, for to register in BitBillions you need to be invited from an existing member, no one can join without an invitation, it looks like you are having a problem with it, I wonder why...? You have a whole plethora of links in your sign, ha ha
Ohhhh that's funny. There is a difference between signature advertising and consistently posting spammy threads to spread your ref link around. It was acceptable at first, but now it's very lame.

Give me 1 BTC for pointing out your mistake.
A mistake in that ad that no-one has noticed isn't worth $250, precisely because no-one has noticed it. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Fees aren't mandatory, the client just forces them so that your transactions actually get confirmed in a realistic time-frame.

The cause of the downtime is malicious. There has been no compromise of any database, data, or code - they couldn't have been accessed by the malicious party (and so is other projects like Inputs.io and CL)
After talking with whiskers75, I suspect that the same individual was responsible. It was carried out through social engineering (different) hosting providers.
Sorry for the downtime - I hope to have coinchat back before Monday.
What kind of social engineering? This shouldn't be happening with hosting providers. Namecheap is easy to SE, a forum I used to be apart of got hacked and the hacker SE'd Namecheap into handing them access to the VPS. It wasn't Namecheap that was SE'd in this case. I know I was just giving a example of a hosting provider that got se'd Bro, you can't be on a CoinChat-related thread with that signature. kthx. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi1176.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fx335%2Fbermingl84%2FUWOTM8.jpg&t=663&c=cLDtbFKiJXK6mQ) DiamondCardz is one of the fibers of awesome that makes coinchat awesome ( yes , just a fiber ) So , look at his name and look back at your signature and back at his name and back at your signature. Do you get it now ? No sir, please tell me MOARRR If you have that signature and use CoinChat, you're gonna have a bad time. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

The only way to fix the server is obviously something slightly connected with restarting the promo again. *cough**cough* ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

We aren't winning money by trading with you, we're losing it. We can't exchange these vouchers for real BTC.

Signature advertising is effective for the advertisers. I use it, it's nice to get paid for my time on bitcointalk. It goes wrong when you have spammers who only spam for BTC - which is the problem with advertisers who don't have a minimum activity requirement. You get a shit-ton of spammers.
No-one gives a flying fuck about post count anymore. The only people who do are those who use bitcointalk purely to get $$$. Fact. Oh, and scammers.
