Finally LaLiga is back and I can watch Valencia playing today and hopefully they will take 3 vital points and move to 7th place overall with just 1 place beneath European places. They will play against Celta Vigo , a team who forgot how it feels to win as they only have 1 victory in 13 games and this season looks kinda over for them as I don't think they can avoid relegation to LaLiga2.
Valencia had a better season this time and they maintained their performance intact to break into the top 10. Usually we are familiar with seeing Valencia always having difficulty at the bottom of the table, but this time they gave different results. Celta Vigo has experienced a very significant decline so far and they have to accept the fact that they are not as strong as last season. An exciting match for sure, especially since both teams both need points to survive in La Liga this season. But it doesn't look like there will be many goals scored and Valencia will probably only win narrowly against Celta Vigo. A score of 1-0 or 2-1 is usually synonymous with this kind of match.

~snip~

We are too busy talking about group F and forget that group H is also an interesting group. As we know, Barcelona lost against Shakhtar and that also dashed Barcelona's hopes of qualifying for the round of 16 early. Now Barcelona and Porto have the same 9 points and this will be an exciting competition considering that anyone can win the group with two matches remaining.

However, that's actually not the main point, but Shakhtar, who currently has 6 points, could shift one of the places at the top of Group H because they will play Antwerp (who obviously didn't qualify) and they will definitely get 3 additional points. After that Shakstar will play Porto in the last match and if they do well then Shakstar will collect 12 points. Barcelona and Porto must be careful if they don't want to lose their current place. Wink

I would laugh like crazy if Barcelona failed to qualify for the third year in a row, but unfortunately the likelihood of this is low. But there is an equally interesting option: Porto beats Barcelona and takes first place, and Barcelona takes second place and ends up with Bayern in the 1/8 and we are seeing a classic beating confrontation  Grin
Man, don't let the Barcelona vs Bayern Munich meeting happen again, it will definitely be very painful for Blaugrana fans. Cheesy

I don't deny that this could happen because considering the possibility that it exists is still a mystery at this time and Barcelona doesn't want to face an opponent who brings back these bad memories. I actually don't want to think negatively about Barcelona and if they fail again and don't qualify from the group stage then they will create a hat trick as a team that has never qualified for 3 consecutive seasons. Well, let's just see what will happen later and surely the surprise will be much more pleasant than the results we have known for a long time.

What I was worried about before fortunately didn't happen and Alaves won the match against Granda with a score of 3-1. I felt happy because I bet on the BTTS result with bigger odds and even though I was worried that Granada wouldn't be able to score, they finally did it in the final minutes of the match. From the start Alaves appeared to be very attacking and this was proven by the 3 goal lead they scored and even though Granada could only shorten the score by one goal, that was still quite better than not scoring at all. This result makes Alaves move away from the bottom of the table again and Granada remains stuck in the relegation zone temporarily and I feel sorry because this is their promotion season in La Liga but they have to feel the decline.
2424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 25, 2023, 09:15:15 AM
Lazio is a great team in the serie A, the only problem with the club is that they concede goals alot and for a team to concede goals in most of their matches they might easily lose matches but notwithstanding that I see Lazio winning Salernitana in this match because they are far better than Salernitana who are rocking the bottom of the table in the relegation zone. Though this is football as anything can happen because Lazio isn't that consistent enough and Salernitana will look forward for a win in other to step up a bit from the relegation area. So as we are tipping Lazio to win we should also expect any drama in this match.

Salernitana have never won a single victory here. I think it would be impossible if Lazio would be the first team they beat. The match will end with an easy win for Lazio. But if Lazio are at their worst then I think a draw would make sense. Yes I also liked the drama for this match. The Lazio team has a record of 13 goals and 13 conceded so it is quite unique to see a team with a ratio of 0.
Sometimes this match feels like a crucial one for Lazio and they should think positively about the possibilities. Salernitana have never won so far and of course if they can beat Lazio it will certainly be a good result. But from Lazio's point of view, this is like a blow that they shouldn't have received and again this team actually has a good defense but sometimes loses concentration in matches that they should be able to protect safely. Despite all that, I will still favor Lazio to win and a narrow win as usual will bring Lazio 3 important points from this away match.

PSG has been in high form recently. PSG's playing style has also gradually shaped and stabilized under the guidance of coach Luis Enrique. In addition, PSG also has a home -fieldadvantage in the match. Monaco has become the team that PSG has faced the most in history in all competitions. Party at Parc des Princes ended with a 5-2 victory for PSG. This result helps Luis Enrique and his team consolidate the top spot in Ligue 1. The scorers who scored the victory for PSG in this match were Ramos 18', Mbappé 39' pen, Dembele 70', Vitor Ferreira 72', and Kolo Muani 90+6'. PSG is asserting that they are still the defending champions this season.
I don't even expect that PSG will win a landslide win against Monaco and this is clearly a big win for Luis Enrique's squad at home. From the start PSG was able to dominate the match and they even took the lead before being equalized by Monaco. But Mbappe put PSG ahead again with the second goal which he scored from the penalty spot and closed the first half with a score of 2-1.

However, the narrow lead still couldn't make PSG feel safe and they scored another goal in the second half, it was the right decision to close out the victory with a convincing score. This result keeps PSG at the top with 30 points and has a difference of 4 points from the closest team Nice who will start their match tomorrow.

I have heard how the commentators in the match of al nassr was reacting to the ronaldo's goal made me feel so pumped. I meant if i have been hearing amazing things from the commentators after ronaldo's amazing goal. How amazing this guy is.

Ronaldo is so amazing. SIIIIIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG this guy was fucking amazing despite 39 years old and he is still able making amazing goal. There are many people were also feeling the same atmosphere when ronaldo was making a spectacular goal.

The brace he scored with Al-Nassr last night was incredible and I don't think the old man is done yet. Many people say that Cristiano Ronaldo is finished but in fact he doesn't care about these comments and continues to score goals in every match. I was very surprised by the second goal he scored last night because it was very unlikely to be a goal if the person who did it was not someone with a lot of experience. The opposing goalkeeper advanced because he knew there was a chance that the Al-Nassr player would score a goal but the ball was thwarted by the opposing goalkeeper and the resulting ribbon ball landed at Cristiano Ronaldo's feet and he did something like a chip kick but it was too high but the ball dived sharply into the opponent's goal and it was impossible to block even though there were defenders who were ready to anticipate it. Some people said the goal deserved to be nominated for the Puskas award because it was still quite absurd to see the ball land.

Apart from that, with the addition of these 2 goals, Cristiano Ronaldo again recorded an impressive record by contributing a total of 61 goals this year for the club and the Portuguese national team. However, it looks like this number will continue to increase because 2023 still has 1 month left.

The international break is over and it's time for us to get back to work. The EPL is waiting for us this week and there are so many interesting matches that we should watch. From the Manchester City vs Liverpool match to other exciting matches will be presented starting today and it looks like it's time for us to bet again in this week of fierce competition between teams. Of the several matches available apart from Manchester City vs Liverpool, I am quite interested in the matches Newcastle vs Chelsea, Brentford vs Arsenal, Spurs vs Aston Villa and I will place bets on some of these matches.

In my opinion, it will be very difficult to determine the winner of the Manchester City vs Liverpool and Newcastle vs Chelsea matches, but I would prefer to bet on the result over goals considering that there will definitely be lots of goals scored. On the other hand, the two London city teams Arsenal and Spurs will definitely beat their opponents later. So, I think these are some safe bets to make.

It will be a bit annoying because I failed to win the bet just because of the difference in the handicap I had bet on the Koln vs Bayern Munich match and that destroyed my multibet. Sad

To be honest, I really believe Bayern Munich can win with a difference of more than 2 goals but unfortunately they were only able to score 1 goal in that match. Even though Bayern Munich had many opportunities which could be converted into additional goals, they all failed and they were unable to increase their lead. Koln lost badly from the start of the match because of Bayern Munich's complete dominance for 90 minutes. Harry Kane did his job well again and was the determinant of Bayern Munich's victory. Well, it looks like after the international break I'm still out of luck and I'll try betting again later.

Of course we are not surprised by this Italian coach who has also coached Napoli, Chelsea and Juventus because sometimes in his training sessions he is often seen smoking and that is his way of thinking and giving strategy or tactics to his players. For him, smoking is a habit that is very difficult for him to stop. Even though this is just a conversation, it does not rule out the possibility that one day Maurizio Sarri will coach one of the Saudi league teams, especially since he is also an experienced coach in Europe's top league and is just waiting for the offer to come.
When the transfer window is open, he will receive an offer from one of Saudi Arabia's team. Cheesy

He's already give a signal if he want to join Saudi Arabia because he know they will paid really high than the current salary he earn. Of course there's nothing wrong for making money, it's natural and all people fall in love in money.
I think so too and maybe Maurizio Sarri is also tired of managing clubs in Europe. There are still quite a lot of teams in the Saudi league that haven't got good coaches at European level and maybe they should start contacting Maurizio Sarri with this statement. The salaries of coaches in Europe and in Saudi Arabia are very different, Mourinho was even offered 30 million euros per season but he has rejected it for now and in the future he is still open to the opportunity to go to the Saudi league. Here money plays a full role in providing a strong foundation for the popularity of a league and Saudi Arabia will return to action starting in January.

Trying to understand the clubs in Ligue 1 is difficult for me, I mean why do they falter so easily or in other words their consistency is so quickly lost when entering a new season. I think it's normal for players to come and go, but in reality it's not normal for that to happen at a Ligue 1 club. It's different when looking at La Liga and the Premier League for example, their consistency can still be said to be balanced when the season changes, yes although there are some clubs that also experience a significant decline.
What do you think caused that to happen in Ligue 1?
I don't know for sure what caused that, but maybe the readiness to welcome the new season for teams in Ligue 1 is very different from other top European leagues and I think that's something they haven't addressed for years. We can see that PSG this season lost their performance before finally returning, elsewhere there was Lens who also experienced a decline in performance but slowly they started to do their main job like last season. What makes us surprised is definitely about Marseille and Lyon because these two teams are big teams in Ligue 1 but they have fallen very far in the standings since the start of the season and are having difficulty competing with other teams.
there are several reasons why the popular teams this season are not in the same position as the previous season and the most important reason is that if we discuss Lens and Marseille, these two popular teams, there is a possibility that both teams are not prepared well enough, while on the other hand, these two teams need to focus in prestigious competition matches such as Lens focusing on the UCL and Marseille in the european league.

Its only natural that both teams experience a decline in performance because in terms of player performance there may be an impact after selling their players so they have to set a strategy not to focus too much on the domestic league and choose to maintain their qualification from next round in the UCL and european leagues.
If they can not qualify, maybe both teams will go back to focusing on domestic league like last season to get best position, I hope my guess is right.
For Lens, I still understand it, but if we talk about Marseille, which has a lot of experience in European competitions, it shouldn't have such bad luck like now and a busy schedule cannot be used as an excuse for a decline in performance. Moreover, all teams also experience the same thing when facing two different competitions, but there are also those who can still be consistent.

If we look at the potential opportunities for Lens and Marseille in European competitions, it is possible that both of them will still be able to qualify but don't let this be used as an excuse for the poor results in local competitions. They have to do this job well wherever they are, especially since they don't want to be in mid-table until the end of the season.

With only one win in the last 5 matches, Werder Bremen is stuck in 12th position and is likely to drop again in this week's match because their opponent is Leverkusen. We know that the difference in quality between the two teams is very different and of course Leverkusen will continue to target another win in this match tomorrow. It seems that Werder Bremen will still have a minor trend this week, but if they can hold on to a draw like the previous few meetings with Leverkusen then at least they will still get one very important additional point. Well, what is certain is that this will be quite an interesting match, especially as there will be more than 2 goals scored.

Yes they can only win one win two defeats and the rest are draws in their last five matches, that's very bad and in addition as you said that indeed this weekend Wender Bremen must face a very strong squad and who are at the top of the table, I think that although any result can happen at the end of the match but I think if they have to face Leverkusen it is very difficult to be able to achieve a pretty good result or even a draw.

This season it looks like Wender Bremen is far from lucky, has fallen down the stairs and is more likely to happen, yes I agree with you that most likely they will go back down, don't ask again because the performance of these two teams is very different and maybe on the other hand this is a match that will be greatly utilized by Leverkusen to get the full three points to be a little further from the pursuit of Bayern Munich. Honestly, I will not put too much hope on Wender Bremen, and maybe they only need full luck in that match to at least achieve a pretty good result.
The results are still the same as last season and Werder Bremen are still a regular team at the bottom of the table. Even though I hope this team can make a comeback and return to its glory days, it seems that it is also quite difficult if they don't have good squad depth. Leverkusen are definitely unstoppable no matter what the opponent is and they still haven't lost so far.

There is not much we can expect from Werder Bremen's performance and if they can hold Leverkusen's draw it will be a miracle. A landslide victory is in sight and of course Xabi Alonso's players will be free as usual in the Werder Bremen defense area.

Erik Ten Hag and Raphael Varane's relationship has been damaged Sad

It all started at the Manchester derby last month when the two had a difference of opinion and ended in a rift between the two. Reportedly, Raphael Varane is not happy that Erik ten Hag prefers Johny Evans over him and I am also a bit surprised why Raphael Varane is not starting again after recovering from injury. I think competition between players is quite natural, but throwing away Raphael Varane for Johny Evans or Harry Maguire in Manchester United's defense is a bit selfish. After Ronaldo, De Gea, Sancho, and now it's Raphael Varane's turn to be the target of this Dutch coach. Do you think Erik ten Hag's actions were correct? Or is he actually the source of chaos in the Red Devils squad?

There was a unique conversation between journalists and Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri about the possibility of him coaching a team in the Saudi league and this is what the conversation looked like:

Quote
"Will you go to Saudi Arabia?"

Maurizio Sarri: “Can you smoke in Saudi Arabia?”

Reporter: “Yes.”

Sarri: “Ok then we'll see.”

Of course we are not surprised by this Italian coach who has also coached Napoli, Chelsea and Juventus because sometimes in his training sessions he is often seen smoking and that is his way of thinking and giving strategy or tactics to his players. Both are La Liga promotion teams this season and indeed their fate so far has been a little different. I feel that victory does not entirely belong to Alaves regardless of the performance in the last few matches, home advantage, or H2H and I am quite worried if in this match Granada can overturn public expectations and win away from home. Maybe I have a different opinion from you and I will bet more on the BTTS result (Yes) because there will definitely be action on the score to determine the winner. Alaves and Granada both need points to move into a better position and that is why there is no guarantee that Alaves can win even though they are favored at these odds.
Your choice of odds is not much different from choosing Alaves on the money line, and in fact both teams are very bad at maximizing their opportunities for goals this season, so you can see they have scored quite a few goals, only Granada is slightly better than Alaves but Granada's defense is worse compared to Alaves.
Bettors really have to be brave enough to take bigger risks to get better profits, even though anything can happen in this match.
Because the two teams can be said to be in conditions that are not much different, so this will be a match that is quite difficult to predict, because both have the chance to win but do not rule out the possibility of ending in a draw.
A draw is indeed the most avoidable result in this match, but even though the chances are small, it will make most people's bets worse. I have no doubts about the draw because both teams can still celebrate the match with a point. Apart from that, something you should be wary of is when Alaves and Granada are confirmed to be a draw in the final minute but in added time there is still a goal that decides the winner, whether from Alaves or Granada, it will definitely really upset anyone who bet on a draw. This is a match with a very high level of volatility and you should be careful in making betting choices.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 24, 2023, 12:25:26 PM
This match is really hard to predict... Chelsea still hasn't completely won me over, even though their performance is gradually getting better. The return of some players from injury might be the key to the top-notch performance Chelsea could display.
If the performance shown against Manchester City can be maintained, then there is a big chance that Chelsea can beat Newcastle in the match played at St James Park. Moreover, several players have returned from injury so there is no reason for Mauricio Pochettino not to be able to beat Newcastle if Chelsea wants to move up to the top 4 of the Premier League standings.
However, Chelsea's performance when holding Manchester City with a big score was a very good result and it can increase the players' confidence ahead of the match against Newcastle later. It seems that away matches are not a problem for Chelsea as long as they can provide the same resistance against Manchester City and indeed the return of Chelsea players who have recovered from injuries will make them even stronger. Pochettino doesn't seem confused anymore and he will definitely have put together the right formation against Newcastle and will definitely try to steal full points.

I'm quite curious how Milan will overcome their inconsistency over the last few matches and their opponents this week are not a weak team either. Fiorentina will clearly be quite a difficult opponent for Milan and even though the Rossoneri have full support from the fans at San Siro, I don't think that alone will be enough to deliver an easy win. It is possible that if Milan takes the lead first then it can at least lead to the match being dominated by them.

However, there was something that really bothered me because even though Milan were able to take the lead, sometimes they lost concentration in the second half and as a result they conceded and ended in a draw. This was clearly seen twice against Napoli and Lecce a few weeks ago, this is a mistake they must correct in the match against Fiorentina again so that the same incident does not happen again in a row.

Ajax are pretty much done with the Europa League as long as there isn't any miracle to be seen. They aren't much different in the Eredivisie also though. They are trying new to climb positions in their domestic league these days. But who knows maybe they might even need to put up a good fight to stay just above the relegation area too.

In Erik ten Hag era Ajax were really strong. Since his era came to an end they just haven't been able to show a solid and consistent performance. Last season wasn't that bad though but this season is a disaster for them.  Sad  I wonder how they will recover from this situation in the future.
I realized how surprised I was to see Ajax's performance this season, even though they were in chaos at the start of the domestic league season. This was also very influential in the European league competition and ultimately put them at the bottom of group B. Ajax's chance of qualifying was gone but they still had the opportunity to continue the competition in the conference league play-off round if they managed to win the remaining two matches.

Even if the Erik Ten Hag era is over, they should still be able to continue to be consistent with the existing squad and again, maybe there is a problem in the dressing room that causes all of that. This is proven by the dismissal of coach Maurice Steijn and temporarily Hedwiges Maduro has been appointed as interim coach until Ajax gets a new coach. Now Ajax must be able to return to normal and provide good results in the future.

Messi vs Ronaldo still the best comercial thing ever in the world of football, so until they play for their antional teams and play at certain level in this kind of leagues, we are gonna see this games replicated. Right now is not other duality or competition betwen two footballers, maybe in the near future can be Mbappe against Haaland but i dont really know.
I will missed the GOAT era, though I'm opportune to watch these players played on the pitch. The GOAT debate have come to an end because the era of Messi and Ronaldo is over after both players left European football. True facts, there will be no players that would be able to blend in the incredible competition open by these great players or any players that can mount the good and impossible records set by the club. Comparing Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, ofcourse these players don't stand a chance to replenish the memories innovated and cave in the minds of football lovers.

Even though both of them have left Europe, debates between their fans are still felt today and we often encounter them in the comments column on almost all existing social media. It must be admitted that these two GOATs will only appear once in a century and it is so rare that the record in their career will be difficult for the next generation to break. Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe are often considered the successors to the next second generation of GOATs and I don't think that will go smoothly if they are still at the same club and maybe everyone knows where the right place is for these two players so that they can each achieve their goals.

However, the GOAT era is the most beautiful thing we can enjoy, now Ronaldo has focused on Al-Nassr and Messi has focused on Inter Miami. Especially Ronaldo, I hope he can continue to add to his record in the Saudi league and can also win the Saudi league title this season with Al-Nassr and that proves wherever he is he is always involved in the club's achievements.
