2421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: January 23, 2022, 09:57:02 PM
Of course, I think its very good opportunity for those people who want,s to invest in Crypto currency.if the people who think bitcoin will be zero they will know very soon because very soon we will se very good pump in all crypto currency ,and people who are old in Crypto currency field they know very well ,and they aren't worry at this time, because they know the bitcoin will show the pump very soon.
Investing in crypto and more particularly with bitcoin won't create immediate profits if that's what you expect. It will still take a long term hodling and may even tests your faith and patience before you will succeed and make profits with bitcoin. And once that you're convinced not because your peers are doing so you don't want to be out of the trend, so make the best move now and invest in bitcoin. But of course, even if a lot would say that bitcoin will return us with huge amount of profits, its always important to still invest with the amount we can afford to lose so we won't be selling immediately our coins once the market suddenly turn sideways.
2422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Dip on: January 23, 2022, 09:40:26 PM
March is about 2 months from now and I want to say it is not a realistic speculation that bitcoin will get to that $100,000. It is very close time for that, bitcoin has not stabilize yet, still facing bear and looking to go down more to $35k if it breaks $40k. This is the overview of the price and today being friday is not really looking fine for a bull. The price is still dropping  and trying to stabilize below $40k.
I think we will see a big spike up this year but probably near summer. With global situation being that we are probably going to a recession in next couple years there is the time where we can see really bearish market.

Nothing is certain about bitcoin though. It price dropping lately is not unexpected but with regards to global situation I don't see that being a phenomenon that will affect bitcoin. We remember that covid-19 is a global situation and killing people globally but it didn't affect the price of bitcoin, bitcoin instead made a remarkable improvement up and got different highs. I don't think even wars will affect the direction of bitcoin if it already on the trend.
We all know that bitcoin can be too unpredictable too. It may sometimes very affected with a positive or negative news, but sometimes it seems not even affected though and even made a price surge that leads to its new heights. So we can't certainly predict what will be the next move of bitcoin as its just moves differently leaving us unaware.

However, with the market having a bearish season, i'm not convinced that the market will eventually recover again which will make bitcoin reaches its new heights. This whole market is still driven with dips and this may lasts longer until we witness significant news that will bring big changes in the market.
2423  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 23, 2022, 09:22:20 PM
Why stop at months, I think we can speculate this whole year might be a fear year.  I'd call it consolidation, natural process and revision and its not as bad as it appears but people get to fear readily so yep good call by OP.
I'm not a great fan of hype either, if somehow I could trade both engage and sell I would be alot richer doing so.    It often OTT overdone silly fear imo, BTC behind the scenes matters more.
It's better to speculate based on year than months because we can see a bigger picture using a year as our basis. Well, the market maybe bearish now but that would never end the crypto market, like in the past, this is the trend that we are seeing again, and if we didn't make the right decision in the past, this is the time to correct that and it should start from buying the dip so we can stock some crypto assets for the coming bull market.
You're right. We often missed opportunities something like this so now is the perfect time to to fill our bags again with our potential coins and we should start buying from the dip. It will be even a lot better if we can buy in every dip so that if we can see that the bearish trend continues, then we can maximize buying from these cheap prices. I guess there's no room for fear in crypto this time as people should be more greedy than be fearful when faced with opportunities like this.
2424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 23, 2022, 02:44:25 PM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding
It is not going to hurt if you keep holding your shiba inu, anything is possible within the crypto space. Tomorrow it is possible that shiba inu ATH can go over that of doge, but also keep in mind that it can also not go well. But, patients is what you need because you may invest with shiba inu the only amount which is affordable to you on the event of shiba inu gets dumped and delisted from exchanges, so you need to be patience until something happens with shiba inu.

I agree about investing the amount which will not hurt you on losing it but the question is why shiba inu and not any other coin. Because, like shiba inu, we are having at least 100s of similar coins with potential to rise in future. Now, if I invest my small amount into all 100 coins then that will definitely hurt me if I happen to lose 50% of them.
Right. You won't be hurting yourself and won't make a loss if you never sell your Shiba Inu. But the question is how long will you be able to hold them? If the value won't eventually recover again, i think that will hurt you the most because there is no chance to make profits from them. If you are investing in those high risk coins, think of its consequences, and not just the luck that it will bring once it reaches an all time high. So to be more assured that you won't be losing in the end, invest in bitcoin and other established coins as they won't just depend on hype or let's say luck.

Trading is gambling. There’s no doubt about it.

You can already see he's biased and full of regret. Trading is not gambling, but it's not for idiots either. You can be a trader who trades with 10% of his money, waits for a big positive signal to buy and a trully negative signal to sell. Like when you buy after the price breaks the old ATH and don't trade with leverage, that's pretty smart. Holding long term and exiting with some money every time the price goes 2x is also smart. Going in with all your money on a trade with 20x leverage is the fastest way to a homeless shelter or a rehab and this guy is a living proof.
From the case here, it's not just about trading that ruined him, but alcohol and drugs that made him like that.
As for trading, I think he's just looking for excuses about the effects of alcohol and drugs that make him addicted.
technically things like this actually have no correlation but indeed I really agree with what you said even though it is indeed very far-fetched but trading is not for stupid people Grin
This is the reason why everyone can do trading but trading itself is not meant for everyone. And being stupid as you've said will never succeed in trading. But in the case of Steven, its not surprising really because he is addicted into drugs and alcohol so we cannot expect that he can do more good in trading, even if he's good enough in the past. And to think that he doesn't have any access on his wallet address, well he must be some kind of a trader who don't have any focus that's why he lost everything in crypto.
2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 23, 2022, 01:12:07 PM
Congrats to the winners, I see that most of the posters here were betting on Magsayo, you enjoy the day.  Smiley

That was so lucky for Magsayo, Rusell got injured so he took advantage of it.
If Rusell wasn't injured, I think Magsayo might lose in this fight because the scorecards result were very close, one judge even score a draw.

The judge that scores the draw is questionable given the compu box results but this is boxing a lot of controversies when it comes to going to the judges' score, Magsayo is being very careful because he knows he is fighting a strong fighter with a very good experience but like all the opinions here he is indeed lucky, Gary Russell can call a rematch if there is a clause in their contract, the argument is he is not 100% although it's not Magsayo's fault.

As always, they would favor the champion but not enough cheating for this fight. Scoring a draw is insane, they see that the champion is only fighting with one hand and there's no way he could win as Magsayo is also fast and fierce in the fight, maybe next time the favor would go to Magsayo as he is the current champion.

I think it will be blatant cheating if the judges score the fight for Russell as it is very clearly that Magsayo did enough to push the fight and hit Russell cleanly specially in the later rounds.

If for reasons, the judges score it for Russell, for sure there will be a lot of uproar and those judges are going to be in the hot seat for that decision. So they can't allow that except maybe for that one judge who have it a draw. So the reign of Russell has come to an end. Bring Leo Sta Cruz next for Magsayo, sure as hell that will be a entertaining fight.

I'm sure Magsayo has learned from that fight although he gets the championship. He was too emotional during the post-fight interview, he said it's been his dream since he was still a kid to become a world champion, now that dream was already achieved, what's next for him?
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 23, 2022, 12:30:57 PM
My early pick.

Utah Jazz vs Golden State Warriors.

I'm leaning on the warriors here, though they have some struggle in their last game I think their home record is good enough for me to be convinced to back the Warriors.

Michell is out, so it will be a fair match as the Warriors have no Green.

2428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 22, 2022, 11:44:20 PM
For me buying low and sell high is important and it is the most popular strategic way of earning in crypto, but the most important is the project itself and the posible outcome of the particular project if there is a chance to be successful or not price really matter but the most important is the project, we need to select good project for good.
You are right. We can expect that since the market is in dips right now, all coins are probably have lower prices. And when there is dips, there is good opportunity to buy those cheap coins in the market. But we don't have to buy all those coins which are in bargain, since not all of them have potentials to grow. This is the reason why we still need to be careful on buying this time as not all coins are safe to buy, some are definitely shitcoins that will only waste our money and time hodling them and end up losing money from them.
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022: Bullish or bearish for crypto? on: January 22, 2022, 11:24:29 PM
With current market conditions, it's better to be patient and don't be in a hurry to make investment decisions,
I think for now follow the development first and hope the market can recover soon
Investing in good coins can still be done by anyone now and there is no need to wait long for it even though the market is not in a good condition during January this year, but if it can be better next month, then buy now Of course it will be very profitable.
I agree. The opportunity is already in front of us because we have seen that all coins are definitely in dips. And the fact that dips is happening, then its a good time to buy and hold. For now, i can say that the market is totally bearish but i guess it won't be the same in the next couple of months. Bullish season might also appear at the last quarter of the year so this year might be a season for both. So there' no need to fear even if the dips is getting deeper because it won't be forever like that.
2430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying during this dip? on: January 22, 2022, 07:53:20 PM
Preferably I would buy those coins that were already pumped and I was feeling left out of the cycle. Not every coin is dumped in the same proportion, Some are dumped more than the others and I would like to capitalise on this and buy coins like SHIBA to add to my portfolio that I have been looking to do from a very long time but wasn't able to find a good entry price, this dump might have just completely changed my situation.
If you think Shiba Inu will regain its value in the future, then you can put a good amount in it. But if i may suggest, this year might be different already when it comes to meme coins and what we have seen that are profitable before will never be the same again. And besides, investing in meme coins will always bring high risk. You better get focus on established coins as they have never been out of the trend, and prioritize investing in bitcoin and top altcoins. Although you can still invest in meme coins but only with a minimal amount.
2431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: January 22, 2022, 07:06:07 PM
The entire cryptocurrency market is on a blood bath level most cryptocurrency witness a higher percentage of price drop which have turned so many analysts to speculate the next stop price before the bull run, if you have been flowing up with recent price actions it show Bitcoin losing almost 7% of it price falling back to 38k and have been struggling to maintain that price level up till now.
Will the 30k price benchmark be the next bottom line before the rise?
after Bitcoin price managed to drop past $40k, I'm not sure Bitcoin will get past $30k...

Market dips do happen every year, but I see the $30k bitcoin price is no longer possible. Besides that, I also see that those who focus on campaigning to buy bitcoin on social media will work even harder, the market will definitely recover, and we can all sleep well again Cheesy
For me, there are still chances that bitcoin will definitely fall more and may end up below $30k. Because once we see bitcoin making a consistent fall, it becomes even more unpredictable so its hard to predict its bottom value from the current dip. But let's not be pessimistic because of the current events, bitcoin and altcoins may be experiencing a drastic fall but as long as there is high demand for them, they won't end up zero value. They will still recover from this latest dump and once positive news will fill in the market, i think they will start rising up again and continue to skyrocket.
2432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 22, 2022, 01:52:19 PM
I agree with you now is the right time to buy bitcoin or big alcoins like eth and binance, but I'm waiting for the price to go down I'm sure the lowest price is not today, definitely tomorrow or the day after tomorrow is the right time to buy bitcoin.
Looks like the dump is not over yet.

Bitcoin now is at $35k, and as bitcoin continues to struggle, we will see the cheap altcoins flashing with some heavy losses daily. It's not good for those weak hands but good for those who accumulate. From the current price, I think $20k + is just waiting and big altcoins dump cannot be prevented from happening.
2433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 22, 2022, 01:28:36 PM

How about the Lakers, did anyone bet on them last night?

I didn't touch that game, I knew that the Lakers are too unpredictable and they won here after two consecutive losses I believe. Next game I'll be taking the Lakers, it's nice to back them after a win as sometimes they'll get some little win streak.
2434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 21, 2022, 11:38:04 PM
the crypto market at the beginning of 2022 was down maybe because many people flocked to Nft and Metaverse so that the volume in crypto decreased but I think this is only because nft and metaverse are trending everywhere so many people want to get into in it,
Until now I still believe the altcoin market will rise again.
Of course, it will always have its own altcoin season. Although we have not met altcoins expectations last year, but i'm still positive that this year might be possible for it to achieve. Maybe last year was only intended for bitcoin, and this year hopefully for altcoins. But we won't be profitable when that time comes if we won't be able to invest at the current prices. Bitcoin and altcoins are definitely in a good buying value right now so we have to start buying while there is dip. And because buying low and selling high still works for most of us, i think this is the perfect time to start it and sell them when bull run comes.
2435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 21, 2022, 11:12:20 PM
Hi crew. Hope you are all well in new 2022. Good moment to buy btc or eth?
^ Definitely right it is now a moment to invest in crypto, everything was dropped in the market price and I think this is the right time.
But let me ask you, how much that you are willing to invest? Because we don't know when until this drop going on if you invested that you can afford of course you can wait for even the price drop further more. Right at this moment based on the coin market cap, BTC dropped 12% and ETH dropped 17% which is perfect timing to purchase again.
Indeed, this time is perfect to accumulate more potential coins. But if you have limited budget, yes its a good suggestion to wait for further price drops as we are quite sure that this bearish market won't easily recover. However, if you have that huge amount of funds, then try to buy in every dip. After  all, any coin that is lower when you bought and will sell at its peak, there are still good profits waiting ahead.  But i suggest, reserve for a higher allocation for bitcoin and maybe half of it goes for ethereum too as it never loses its demand despite of its high gas fee.
2436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 21, 2022, 09:43:46 PM
We can see right now that the Bitcoin market is hovering around 37610 dollar. I can't find the reason why Bitcoin is being dumped so much right now. But for some reason maybe Bitcoin has been dumping so much and there will be more.I think Bitcoin will break below 30k dollar and stay below it.
That will also be possible as bitcoin creates a consistent drop every hour so most likely, reaching below $30k is very possible.  But that won't mean that we should be fearful this time and ends up panic selling. Instead, look at the bright side of it, bearish season gives us good opportunity to start again and fill our portfolio with those cheap and high potential coins. If this market situation makes us more uncomfortable, well the fact is this won't take forever. So never miss a single opportunity this time.
2437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 20, 2022, 11:56:28 PM
Because there are so many crypto signal providers now, it's hard for me to pick the right one. Many of these crypto trading signal providers have a good record of giving out good signals, but some are only in it for the money. This is what you need to know about these people. So, which is the best source of crypto trading signals, and which one should you use to make money?
As with most things in life there are no shortcuts, you are trying to borrow the knowledge of someone else to make profits in the markets, saving yourself months or even years of study, do you really think that something that convenient really exists? Because it does not, if you want to become profitable in the markets then there is only one way to do so and that is by learning how to trade the markets by yourself, and if you cannot do it then you should accept to just hold your coins.
^ Definitely right, try to learn trading on your own and don't rely on others knowledge and the trading signal is not accurate on predicting the market, it could be possible that you are joining in the pump and dump group which is not good to join. However, making them as your reference is not a bad idea at all, but at least you are not relying on them. I agree that there is no shortcut to learning, it should be step by step, and if you lose then you have gained experience, still, you are on the good side.

Also, I don't agree with the OP that only some are in it for the money. The reality is, almost all of them are after for the money that they will get. Maybe not the subscription money but the money that they will rake if they give late or wrong signal. Because usually, these groups will give signal a lil bit delayed, so what the followers will do is to buy at high prices, where maybe, the signal group owners are selling. So do you what I mean here? For me, better learn on your own ways and not rely on these trading signal groups, whether paid or not, because it will be the reason why you will lose your funds.
If we don't want to get scammed and lose our funds, better stay away from those paid trading signal groups. After all, we are here to learn trading and make profits in the process, and not just giving away our funds to somebody else who can't even give us the advantage. For some, they be may be helpful but i know in the long run, our losses earned is even bigger than the profits we made. So its very useless to entrust our trading into them since they are just making it for their own advantage, and not literally for our own sake.
2438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year on: January 20, 2022, 09:36:48 PM
Yes, at the beginning of the year the cryptocurrency situation is a bit miserable. This is because at the beginning of the year, the price of all the coins in the cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, is a little lower. There is no reason to be discouraged because it is miserable every year at the beginning of the year. Later, the market's momentum picked up again.

Cryptocurrency is going to pass two weeks so far this year but still no positive is found. I think it could be even longer. In other words, it will take some time for the market to get better.
Any one who has been in the crypto space for a long time should understand this and not see it as a problem, because it has continued to happen almost every year. I don't think anyone should panic over this because bitcoin has proved itself formidable over time. The current situation of market is indecisive. It means market will become bullish at any moment because there is no impacting negative news are around and in all such situations bitcoin market is known for becoming bullish hence this time may not be an exception for sure.
Of course, bitcoin will always end up being bullish, but i am seeing it more like bearish these days as its price never even breaks the resistance level of $45k and its price just staying around $41k-$42k in these past days. As well as with altcoins who are only depending their price moves on bitcoin. And this is not new really as its always been the case at the start of the year. But i have still high hopes that bitcoin will still be bullish before this year ends and will end up having its new ATH.
2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 20, 2022, 01:10:24 PM
We have a few games tomorrow, 3 to be exact but as usual, I'm only choosing 1 game.

I choose the Mavericks vs Suns, and I love the home team here as they already won 3 times in a row in their home court.
Therefore my pick is Dallas Moneyline.

Ayton may not be available too, so it's a big advantage for the Dallas Mavericks.
2440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 19, 2022, 04:44:53 AM
You got some point on here but I don't see for it to be a solid reason on why Pacquiao lost that fight but we couldn't really deny that Ugas is really good.
The fact that he retired already, that tells that he understand he could not keep up with the young champions, and he accepted that.
Ugas is so honored he beat the legend, so going forward, that will give him more confidence to beat anyone who would challenge him.

If he do able to beat up Pacquiao then Ugas could really give a good damn fight with Spence but Im not really shocked that people instead looking way too low on Ugas.
Lets see on how he would settle things up.
If Pacman did not make an excuse on his loss, then maybe people would believe that Ugas is really strong and could beat Spence. There are still some who believes on him, don't worry about that, however, you can't blame the majority to believe that Spence will win, that's normal.
