2421  Economy / Services / Re: [ESCROW SERVICE] Buy & Sell P2P with Web3 Marketplace | Zenland 🔥 on: March 17, 2023, 07:07:21 PM
Great to see Zenland finally launch after several beta tests with the community here Cool

Btw looking at the average rates, why does ethereum attract such a high average price per contract after the blockchain got forked to fix its high fees etcetera

and if compared to BNB which attracts a mere 2 dollars the margin is huge, how was this arrived at ?!

And most importantly, good luck with your service   Smiley

2424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 11:00:20 PM
Anybody know who was handed the man of the match in the Arsenal match? Am hoping it was given to Antonio Adan.. the the Sporting goalkeeper who kept Arsenal from proceeding to the next round..what a game  Cool

Paradoxically for them is better to be out so they can focus 100% on the Premier League since the money prize and advertisement is much bigger.
Tough luck for Arsenal, but them being knocked out does him them the resources to divert to a specific competition and this should be the premier league which is almost coming to a close .
Btw this game having gone to overtime I don't think they will be winning their next EPL game because the boy's will be having tied legs and manager might be forced to rotate this team unless otherwise, great going Sporting:)

Arsenal against Porto is definitely worth watching
I believe you mean Sporting, Port was knocked out by Inter Milan.

Click on the link above and see where you go, you'll understand.

You can also quote the post to see what's behind the link. I don't think this is a big problem for people who have been online for a long time. Beginners, and especially curious beginners, will have to go through the path firsthand.
I was going to say using Twitter or telegram does unmask the link behind the link especially for URL shorteners like bitly etcetera but not in this scenario, but your solution of quoting of the post does show the hidden link ,so does hovering on the link exposes the link  somewhere in the left bottom of the screen if you are using a desktop ,easy pizzy Smiley

81% of Forum users use Desktop to visit this forum.
Followed the link you shared, unfortunately numbers look inconclusive and if anything I think we have more users using mobile devices than a desktop which is scary in terms of these security concerns.

2428  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 15, 2023, 11:16:30 PM
The thing with family is we always think we know people and sometimes we could be right and sometimes we could be wrong and never want to admit it.
When it comes to finances and family I think it's all about flexibility, you don't want to be the robocop of the family that always thinks they know it all, sometimes just give people the benefit of the doubt as people grow out of these bad habits and try to impress the people that came through for them,if we can't believe in them then who will...unless we saying family nolonger matters and second chances do not exist anymore  Undecided
2429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How's your bitcoin lifestyle? on: March 15, 2023, 09:27:12 PM
The topic of Bitcoin gets mixed reactions in my circles because Bitcoin is usually associated with scammers especially if you are on these social media platforms like telegram or Facebook you know how annoying people will always drop Dams or comments related to Bitcoin investment etc which even Facebook seems not to have under control but like everyone has pointed out, Bitcoin is really a private lifestyle tbh...my Bitcoin my business it ends at that, but I must say Bitcoin has gained some ground and more people silently talk about it especially that once in a while it makes some news headlines.
2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep money in the bank or buy bitcoins? on: March 15, 2023, 04:50:15 PM
Let's face it, keeping money in the bank can be done based on several reasons, one of them being investment as the money can earn interest, others do this to raise their credit score others its really all about trying to safeguard our money from ourselves or trying to keep it in a safer place than our homes and allow it to be used to run an economy and the best part it will cost us nothing besides the few banks charges and what not.

But when it comes to crypto, if you choose the investment route if you put in a 100 dollars today their is a possibility of it growing in value or diminishing in value which is the risk it posses but if we don't mind this then investment is for you.
2431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About Rapid Wealth Accumulation on: March 15, 2023, 01:02:52 PM
How to go from poor to millionaire fast in crypto?
Having faith in a crypto project and investing actual money into the project should make this happen and not forgetting being an early supporter of the project is the blue print to riches but getting rich Fast is gambling you looking for..get a lottery ticket or something  Tongue.

But I must admit nothing beats the Bitcoin early catch because the coin was worth literally nothing and they were a few fellows that saw the future and put money on it and are currently the heavy weights in the industry , which clearly shows thatl patience pay's and not fast money 💰
2432  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: March 15, 2023, 12:12:10 PM
It's important to note that predicting the future price movements of BTC is highly complex
Highly complex, I don't know about that but I believe one can develop the skills to read charts more actually by using techniques such as support and resistance or smart money concept's/ICT and for more technical analysis you could use Wyckoff  or whatever it is that works for you that can help with the prediction of where and what price action is doing.
Guess it's just about getting the trading knowledge to see things more clear and definitely just to put it out there you won't always be right!

and subject to many factors, including market sentiment, global economic conditions, regulatory changes, and more. Therefore, any statements about the status of BTC bulls should be taken as a general indication of sentiment and not a guarantee of future price movements.
Right on the money, these are definitely external factors that will influence price to be either bullish or bearish and ignore the technical analysis side of trade ,which  is why those that trade forex know that it's better to avoid trading news because this is when markets are highly volatile and unpredictable!

2434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 15, 2023, 03:29:55 AM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not
I think the best students come from children learning when they are still young and have a teacher/mentor to help them grasp this new skill and if they have you to be there to teach them how to trade indeed they will be great expert's in trading.

because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.
Don't you think it's unfair to underestimate his abilities...and because his eager to learn I think he is more likely to be interested in this topic of trade unlike getting to learn about in when they are older which is the more reason you should equip him with the right tools to trade..you will be surprised how well they will perform as the interest in this subject is there...
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 14, 2023, 09:33:45 PM
Manchester City really came out to play this evening and the mean business, I don't think they will be leaving this competition early this time around as they have the high scoring Erling Haaland on their side to help them try to get this trophy for the first time but it's going to be a mountain to climb with experienced teams  like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich still in the competition .

so does Haaland score?  Roll Eyes

WTF,  what is the record for a player who scored in a single game in the Champions League?

Should be 5 right?
The man just stole the headlines and am expecting tomorrow all sports news tabloids will be talking about him and his goal forecast topic will be on again ... And I see him getting 60 goals this season should he keep playing 60+ minute per game.

Anyone know why Pep took out Haaland? The man scored 5 goals, he would break the record if he played a little more.
I thought so too but maybe being at the Etihad he want the fans to give him a standing ovation to make him feel appreciated...
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 14, 2023, 05:05:19 PM
I expect Fenerbahce to win against Sevilla, I don't know if they will get the result to qualify
I took a peep at the current odds market,. and I didn't believe the bookies are also expecting Fenerbahce to win against one of the most decorated team when it's comes to Europa games .

I know, the odds are based on the form the Turkish team has a good run at home as compared to the visitors who are poor on the road..but hey what happens if they use the same team that won 2nil Roll Eyes Best bet here is double chance Ina favour of Sevilla or for bold get them at 3 odds.

Apart from losing woefully against Liverpool, I haven't seen any other disappointing performance from Manchester United.
That game is hard to explain how it all happened, first half they were down by a goal but when the second half started..it's like hell broke lose they had a mental break down and they failed to put up a good fight and got humiliated, btw the team that lost here was the same team that won against Real Betis which should say something....

They have shown much consistency in the Europa league.  Winning Fc Barcelona was their best performance in the Europa league because I see no other game that will be as challenging as the fixtures against FCB.
That was a real shocker didn't have faith United had the firepower to beat Barca but they did Smiley

The only strong side left is Arsenal which I'm still having cold feet about their qualification to the next rounds while facing Sporting at Emirate.
First leg Sporting should have beaten Arsenal I just don't know how that own goal happened but I still think they still pose a threat against a tired Arsenal side.
2437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Test on: March 14, 2023, 02:55:05 PM
I discover this site few weeks ago after I experience a devastating lose before. Personally I don’t know if it’s really accurate or not but there’s no harm on doing self assessment especially if you are already doubting on your gambling habits status.
I think these days many ignore the signs and think they can just snap out of it when they have not even acknowledged the problem, when the solution to solve a problem starts with acceptance.

You can use the attached link for 3 minutes gambling addiction test and share the result by sending screenshots on the comment section.

Gambling Addiction Test (Self-Assessment) : https://www.psycom.net/gambling-addiction-test
Thank for the share, I did take the test and it suggests it's not a diagnosis tool nor can it be taken to be accurate (though they haven't admitted this).

Here’s the question for the test for easy reference, You will need to answer it on the website to see the result.
1. Do you spend lots of time thinking about gambling or planning a gambling activity?
Thinking about a gaming or match activity, Yes because of some of the competitions am involved in both on and off site but not gambling related.

2. Do you need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to feel excited?
There is no thrill in that, besides smartest and profitable gamblers know how to manage risk and when to stop.

3. Do you unsuccessfully try to cut back on your gambling?
Unsuccessful no, It's all about self control no matter they edge to gamble and this comes with time.

4. Do you feel irritable or restless when you try to limit your gambling?
No ways, patience is the name of the game something I have learnt from trading forex.

5. Do you lie to loved ones about your gambling habits?
How or when is this considered a lie when you aren't asked about it???

6. Has gambling interfered with your work, school, or relationships?
Once when I was receiving a prize but this is a fan activity that doesn't come between my productive times.

7. After losing money gambling, do you often return to it with the intention to make up for the loss or break even?
I don't chase my loses because I know losses are part of the game and the sooner you know this the more likely you won't lose more money than expected.

8. Do you have to ask others to bail you out of financial troubles due to gambling?
My gambling habits never come to this extent.

9. Do you ever gamble when you feel anxious, sad, helpless or guilty?
Gambling is not my feel better activity especially that this is a source of unhealthy dopamine, better going to the gym than this....

BTW, My personal result is Mild Indication of Gambling Addiction.
I got the same result and I feel it's because of how questions have been structured especially with the yes or no answers.
2438  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New York Attorney General Sues KuCoin on: March 14, 2023, 11:26:05 AM
But how does this really work..here in the crypto space where we have experts in the field know very well that all these crypto assets are simply utility tokens and have never been classified as securities and then somebody from the outside comes to tell us that these are not what they seem to be and should be categorised as securities... guess this goes with jurisdiction.

And why put all the weight on Kucoin, why not give the people to choose whats  bad and what's good.. geofencing is a temporary fix and won't stop someone who is determined to access these services.

2440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 13, 2023, 08:47:23 PM
Have you ever seen a online casino website that displays, No kYC requirements or KYC requirement for **** amount of withdrawal before?
These kind of KYC triggers were common with the exchanges and am surprised that this has come to gambling which really looks like a term that can be used to scam it's customers when they try to withdraw their funds when the time comes to get funds out and am hoping it doesn't end at denials of these requests.

And why won't any online casinos do something like this? I believe this is suppose to boost users and players confidence when they are about to try out new gambling platforms for the first time.

I believe this is still affecting online gambling platforms because this is one of the most common issues that online gamblers are still facing.
The fact that you can't chargeback when it comes to crypto, any KYC regardless of amount really paints a bad picture and derails the trust in these services, honestly if its KYC they want they better say it from the on set not having it partly!

I wonder which casino has such terms, hope they aren't popular too..
