i have to agree china is difficult topic
enter that market without have dedicated chinese community
or even better core team members is not likely ending with a success story
u will feed some guys with bounties but the results will be not worth it
as soon as ur stream of bounty ends any attention is gone
is their any dedicated forums for china's altcoin market i know bct is restricted to Chinese citizens, so how do people go about advertising new altcoins nowadays?
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MaryJanecoin LLC Digitally made for the Cannabis Industry and Community on: September 11, 2015, 01:58:57 AM
will there be any promotions or such on the 23 of September for the 1 year anniversary for MjC? might be a good idea, just a thought though....

Hrm, interesting.  What do devs have to say about this?  (or they delete/block any posts or don't return PM's I guess??)

Removing posts and some kind of "support" is insulting everyone who posts there.
i'd say they should probably remove 50%+ posts on that damm thread  all of the are from 1/2 people that are spam posts and should either be banned from the bct forum or just have there entire /weeks posts history deleted

Like Knight?
that and a few others, some seem to have just started posting like mad after that thread started, like night is one of them...

The funny thing is that I said them they were spamming and they almost killed me lol.
it's all about that popcorn the BCT  forum is going to shit pretty much a few more months and i wont be suprised if they close BCT down all together it's starting to become a fester of trolls and shills
2445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CAID] CoinAid - Pure POS 60% Per Year....... on: September 11, 2015, 01:52:15 AM
Why buywall is still there? It should have been removed already according to Yobit ICO rules - 4 days already passed since the ICO start and full sellout..
isn't that a good thing though maybe the dev asked to keep the buy wall up so people who got scared can get their funds back before this thing rockets to the moon?

the community of gsy is still forming, ya it's very cheap and who cares if investors of the ico didn't make xxxx amount of btc from there investment it's about building something from the start once people start to grasp that nobody can stop it, like many coins before btc ltc etc. it all takes time projects and the community forms around the coin itself, and will not do so if you force it...

eduffield now holds the rank of top 5 developers, since the beginning of BTC most devs have either scammed or simply abandoned their projects, eduffield is one of the most trusted devs of our time, very few have been as open as eduffield it's a great thing to see people like eduffield bringing new things to the table and have it open sourced so we all can learn from it... 2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Clickcoin [Click to earn] [POS] [Advertising] on: September 11, 2015, 01:30:07 AM
neat little project i bought 100k, ill put em away for a couple months hopefully this can turn into something great, maybe where each btc faucet gives a little caid also? just an idea might help broaden the community of caid, where you fund a x amount of caid and x amount of btc  to certain bigger faucet sites, say 50 coins each or something like that since most faucets give 500 satoshis to each user...

2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Δ DeltaCredits - Decreasing supply - SRF - HARD FORK BLOCK 3000 - on: September 11, 2015, 01:18:48 AM
im sad to see delta has no support
It is matter of time.

DeltaCredits, really, are one of those coins which you can buy and "hodl" with confidence. Reason? It has next to zero inflation of supply, and with the SRF working, only increases in rarity and becomes more scarce.

But that becomes a completely different story for other coins. A lot of altcoins use Hi-PoS or PoS 2.0 with a high inflation percentage as the incentive of securing the network. If in the circumstance there isn't any active development, a steady decrease in valuation will be noticed due to sell-offs of PoS rewards, and generally an increasing supply. One of the prime rules of economics- a higher supply results in a lesser demand. Although that can be modified given the circumstance, it will most definitely be applied to the vast majority of coins.

As mentioned various times before, DCR is the FIRST coin with a decreasing supply that has NO impact on investors' wallet balances (eg; no negative staking or anything that penalizes the investor). We will see how this plays out in the long run. There will be active development of DCR, also, and at the moment, I will be preparing lots of graphics for a nice PR campaign.
thanks gladimor! +1 this is something that is truly different and most people don't realize it yet but everything takes time, im really grateful you have taken your time to create this coin, would of been a tad bit better if the staking was perfect before the launch but all is good now, and we've already burned 1.95% of the coins supply in such a short time..

Congratulations To Anonymous  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

congrats on hitting 111x finally after almost 10k tries Smiley
Do you have any proof they bet 10000 times? i kinda would like to see them betting 50 btc to only win a maximum of 0.55 im sure they didn't lose the entire 50 btc but it would be nice to see how much they are profit after 10000 bets 0f 0.005

of course 10000 bets that from some people, not just one player. so everyone really wants to get max 0.55 of 0.005.

This is my betting stats http://luckyb.it/browse?search=1Jo7zoWnvUW7EtAwj3vcp4gREbggmYHDqF&day=  8648 bets so far.
I send 5292 bets on Yellow with this address, hits 10 x38 and 1 x111.

oh wow thanks that's really awesome to look at, i didn't know luckybit had this feature  Shocked
is there a ranking page to display the top better/ most net gained/lossed?
2458  Economy / Gambling / Re: Magicaldice.com | Officially Launched | Bitcoin Dice Website | Fancy Rolling on: September 11, 2015, 01:10:36 AM
I see some people in the chat with a crown beside their username, how do i get one of those?

Admins have a Red Crown besides their name (Cryptasm and Stars are only Admins)
All Mods have a green crown besides their name, I don't know all Mods but NLNico is one of them.
as of rate now dagobert and SaltyBastard are also mods, im not really sure how they add mods but im sure they are trying to find the best people for the job.
2459  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Extreme on: September 11, 2015, 01:08:01 AM
can we see a screenshot if it's no big deal, would be kinda cool to see its always nice when someone wins a decent amount off a fairly new casino site
but if you don't want to it's no biggie, as i said above it's just a neat thing to see.

OP has already posted the screenshot in #8 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1175810.msg12379093#msg12379093), but as some mentioned already, it is very easy to create a fake screenshot and so it doesn't really prove anything.

I believe apart from screenshots even transactions can be faked if they are planned in past. I would just suggest deciding on judgement and testing it with amounts you can trust them with .
ah, that wasn't the type of screenshot i was looking for i was kinda looking for a screenshot of tx id's or something that can atleast prove it in the blockchain...
2460  Economy / Gambling / Re: try your chess skills for bitcoin on: September 11, 2015, 01:04:15 AM
Chess for bitcoins? Isn't Chess a little too exploitable as a game? I mean you could just have pretty strong Chess program running in the background and just copy moves from it.

Chess is definitely exploitable and you could just be playing against bots, that is why it has never been launched before. On first look the site looks good, but unless there is a way to avoid bots , it would be difficult to get players.

Oh come on. An avid chess player could beat even the most powerful bot. I'm pretty sure that chess is one of the hardest board games to "exploit" with automation. In the past there have been attempts to create multiplayer online board game lobbies with betting. Gambit.com would be an example. But it doesn't accept bitcoin any more.

I wish this website can become a great platform for chess because I love both chess and bitcoin.

An avid chess player cannot beat top-tier chess software, which is free. Stockfish has a rating of 3000+ and the top player in the world plays at a rating of ~2800
that's pretty insane but for someone to have programmed that wouldn't they have been able to produce a score that is 3000+ also? , or am i just completely wrong
