2441  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: December 07, 2015, 11:59:04 AM
I am only seeing it going to 1000$+ before halving or even new all time high price. I expect it not to go very much above 1000 as most of the people will like to sell it they see that price.
The pre-halving run is what you're talkin about, the fall part of it will blow your mind. Sell now and cry forever or buy now and live forever in plentiful-ness.

Yes the run for catching better price before it gets too late has been initiated. That's the reason we are near to $400 levels and market may surprise us in up coming days within this week itself. I guess this will continue up to the halving to happen.

Yes there are lot of chances in this week for bitcoin prices may test $400+ levels. The sustaining prices around $380 to $390 strongly indicates it. May be $425 to $440 also possible within this week end. Halving will make bitcoin into moon or heaven.
2442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 07, 2015, 06:19:50 AM
With Amla gone, I believe India will be the favourites.
They just have to keep chipping away.

Yes Amla wicket would be big hope for India to win this test. But South Africa aim for historic blockathon to draw this match. They have quality batsmen to do so. So, I guess still there are chances for draw as well as for India winning.

If South Africa draw this test match, that would be new record. I do not think that is possible for them in India pitch. The new ball has been taken, that would be the new beginning for India hope to win this match to white wash South Africa 3-0 in this series.

But there are lot of chances for South Africa to create new record of playing many maiden overs to draw this match. India bowling is missing the fire works to force the batsmen to make mistakes to get out. So, South Africa dominates now towards a draw.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 07, 2015, 06:16:56 AM
win a little and run away never come back

This is not at all possible for any common man. Instead of running away, most of the people are running towards gambling after their little winning. Their big hope came from little profits lead to big investments and bet amounts finally end up in huge losses out of addictions.

Running away is not a method for safe gambling.
Staying with gambling and making profits is the challenge we are discussing here.
Believing gambling blindly for quick profits is the reason for addictions and losses. So, we must avoid believing gambling for profits without any proofs.
2444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 06, 2015, 11:42:22 AM
South Africa still behind 443 runs it will do all its best to push this match as draw but it looking much hard for it stay on the crease for long time.

but amla and bavuma is doing a great job ,,, defending more than 100 balls is not that easy

Even India got 2 wickets of South African openers, the pitch seems very flat and Amla and AB de villers are showing good resistance against Indian bowling attack.
They just need to survive another three sessions to draw this test. It seems possible for them.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: December 06, 2015, 11:26:11 AM
I think if you want to treat your addiction to gambling, and suddenly stop gambling, it is impossible to be done
such as addiction to smoking, you can not just stop

Nope it is possible to suddenly stop from gambling, you just need to find other things to do so you will not think anything about gambling. It is different with smoking, you can't suddenly stop it or you will be in complication because I had a friend that his father get this kind of thing. But any way this is just midnset that you can't stop from gambling, if you want it you can do it

Yes we can not give up anything abruptly. We need to give some time to cope up with our mind set. Reducing the time we spend with gambling gradually will give us the positive effects on staying away from the gambling.
2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: December 06, 2015, 11:22:54 AM
I have said this before, and I'll say it again:  bitcoin, unless it gets made simple to use by ordinary, tech-unsavvy people, is going to forever be a tool of criminals and problem-gambler tech nerds.  I think it's a really neat idea, but I'm not a techie and a lot of it is confusing to me.

And unless it provides a significant advantage over cash, businesses won't want or need to accept it.

And it goes without saying that if these things are true for bitcoin, altcoins won't stand a chance.

As per you mentioning, once bitcoin is loaded with debit-card, it becomes same as a fiat. No difference at all in using it at merchants as well as online.
So, bitcoin is already in well known format for daily need and usage.
I believe bitcoin is simple system to understand and use.
2447  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 06, 2015, 11:17:47 AM
Noo. Nothing major is going to happen with the halving, everyone wants the price to go up but the truth is that, like litecoin, the price won't suffer any major changes. Maybe the difficulty will drop before the halving but other than that you can't expect the price to go up, if it goes up it would be just because of the speculation.

I am also having a feeling that the block reward halving will have a near-Zero impact on the Bitcoin prices. On the other hand, it can have a negative effect on it. That is because, a number of short-traders have started accumulating the coins, hoping that the prices will go up due to the halving. If their expectations are not met, they are going to dump their coins, which will drive down the BTC prices.

For the next block halving, from 25 to 12.5 will big effect. For the future ones, like from 12.5 to 6.25 will have much less effect as the proportion of new coin is much smaller.

Yes when the supply goes down half, the demand will raise to some folds. It would be based on the adoptions of people for their daily needs and savings. Any way when supply goes down, it will get in to news to be popular. More popularity will bring new users into bitcoin ecosystem.
2448  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 06, 2015, 11:00:52 AM
The most important is its credibility and widely accepted by merchants all over the world. From this point of view, bitcoin's merchant acceptance is already better than gold, which require merchant to have specific tools and expertise to verify its purity

I don't know from where you are getting your data from. Do you really think that bitcoin's merchant acceptance is better than gold? Gold is accepted by hundreds of millions of merchants around the world (I'm talking about gold bullion coins / bars). On the other hand, how many merchants are accepting Bitcoin? 10,000? or 100,000?

I wonder how you are comparing the online accepting merchants of bitcoin with offline (physical) stores?
Even gold is an international recognized medium of exchange, but not widely used by people for their daily needs even after 3000 years of practicing.
Bitcoin is with 10M people for daily spending as well as for long term investment within 6 years.

Gold is old and outdated in my perspective if I consider the medium of exchange for today's smart life.
I need a exchange medium in my phone and in my laptop. How compatible is gold with my requirements? Gold can not compete with bitcoin in value appreciations in upcoming days. Gold era is gone. Welcome to bitcoin era.....

Yes bitcoin is the future in every where. It will replace gold, fiats, Paypal kind of online money transfers, western union kind of physical transfers and virtual cards for online transactions.
Gold always comes with high fees (making charges and taxes)whereas bitcoin has very less fees for transactions.
2449  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 06, 2015, 09:22:34 AM
No it is very difficult to get 1 btc cause i am still a newboe so for temporary i can only earn from faucet

you can buy, if you have a job, with 1/3 of a normal salary, you can get one bitcoin right now, i think it's still in the range for average joe to earn a good amount by buying

Yes this year fully we had and now also having good price levels to buy some bitcoins to make ourselves with bitcoin ecosystem revolutions. Buying a little amount from our salary would fetch a big number of bitcoin in certain period of time. I do buy often.
2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 06, 2015, 08:27:55 AM
Bitcoin and PayPal are essentially on par at the moment. The only difference is that PayPal may be a tad faster, and Bitcoin can appreciate in price. It really depends on what you want and what to spend your funds on.

the difference is that one is expensive as hell, the other save you money when purchasing something while increasing its value over time(i don't care about the haters saying that btc will die or trash liek that, because they have sold at $10), this is big difference for me

also they are equal in speed, actually bitcoin is faster, when i received for example, my money back froma  purchase because of a refund, i've waited days to see it in my paypal account, especially on weekend, not so much with bitcoin...

Yes this main difference of less fees associated with bitcoin will make it as a replacement for Paypal in near future. Even both are in equal speed, with bitcoin we can enjoy the liberality of owning our wealth. With Paypal some one else handles our money.

You still don't understand that you are comparing a currency (bitcoins) to a service (paypal) Of course you own your money because bitcoin is a currency, paypal works with currencies but it's not a currency.

Why we not compare these two? Both works online and used to send and receive money. Bitcoin is the system which deals with the unit which is also called bitcoins where as Paypal is a service provider which can deal with any fiat currencies. Paypal may freeze your fiats but bitcoin will never do that. I love bitcoin.

Because paypal is a service that uses lots of currencies, it's not fair to compare both when paypal uses dollars and euros which are currencies spread through every country in the world, there is no way for bitcoin to compete with that right now or in 10 years.

I doubt the existence of Paypal in next 2 years. Because there is no need of Paypal kind of services with higher fees and often freezing our funds.
Trusting a third party for just money transfer is a unwanted thing and no one will go for it when we have bitcoin in main stream in next 2 years.

Yes bitcoin will wipe out Paypal or western union kind of money transferring systems same like Internet did for our traditional post office systems.
They have only once chance for their survival is adopting bitcoin with their existing infrastructure. It may help them to continue their services.

Yes this must be a adopt or die kind of situations for Paypal.
When bitcoin goes into main stream what is the need of paypal with many restrictions. People will go with easy and friendly services like bitcoin not with a rude one.
2451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: December 06, 2015, 08:11:12 AM
Interesting topic.
Indeed, I have seen as many users bought heaps LTC and sit with them, instead of what would have to use their investments more wisely.
But I'm sure that soon will change on this market and opinion  the investors will also vary.
So who is closely monitoring this crypto market, has all chances to become a wealthy man  Wink

Buying alt coin with my idle coins was suggested by my friends but I was not ready to take risk on investing in alt coins. I prefer to stay with my bitcoins itself. Because I believe in bitcoin more than any other cryptocurrency.

I guess you are missing the opportunities every other crypro-coiners are enjoying from alt coins. I would like to suggest you to split your investment into many small parts and invest into alt coins some 2% to 5%. It may give you some big returns even you take a little risk.
2452  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: December 06, 2015, 07:38:09 AM
Personally, I can't imagine btc will pump if so many people are holding and waiting. I'd expect a movement in the direction with least resistance.

There is no chances for downfall of prices around halving. Because basic economic rule of supply demand will apply here. Halving will give some boost in bitcoin prices either in short term or long term but definitely will give.

I also do not have doubt on direction of the price movement, only the confusion is when will the price surge will occur, whether it will give short term impact or long term impact. I believe by 2016 end we can see the full consequences of halving.
2453  Economy / Gambling / Re: [INDIA]Indian Super League [INDIA] on: December 05, 2015, 05:53:05 PM
i don't know my prediction was correct or not but it seems almost in every result matches in this league is over 2.5 goals

but i think today their will be less goals as chennai today want to draw this match so that they can equal kolkatta and reach semi spot.
may be you're right this time because end of the first half the score does not change Chennaiyin only want to draw in this match

Chennai beat Pune city by 1-0 to clear the quarter finals, it means Jeje propels Chennai into the semifinals. The fantastic goal fro Jeje matters for Chennai. From the beginning it was clear and easy guessing as Chennai dominates through out.
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2015, 10:15:17 AM
by gambling, i use soccer betting

bad Methods by gambling, This week I always lose. I hope you dont do too much play gambling, it become addicted and will lose all in the end

Yes, gambling is not method to make grow our hard earned bitcoins. I never suggest anybody to gamble to grow their bitcoins because in my own experience itself I have lost my bitcoins in gambling for greed of doubling it in over night. So, avoid gambling if you want to grow your bitcoins.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: December 05, 2015, 10:11:10 AM
Ideally, they are the same thing. They're both bad, and they're both gambling. There is no such thing as gambling for a living. The house edge makes sure of that. It's almost impossible to make profit and walk away, and gamblers know that.

Did you know many people in pokerstars make it as a living? They are gamle for years and succeed keep their live nicely.
Some people out there already practice this thing and reach their success . they called pro gambler.

Do you know any one of them? Most of the gamblers are thinking like you that many people are making profits from gambling so they also can try to get more money from gambling. But most of them end up in losing what ever they have than only they will realize it. 100% gambling is not for living but it is just for enjoying the fun.

Yes only in social media or in word of mouth I do hear about Gambling achievers. I also doubt there are complete fictitious stories to temp the common peoples to make them to invest in gambling. It's very much rare to have a successful gambler as a friend.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: December 05, 2015, 10:07:36 AM
I am more like a sports betting guy than a dice guy, and I usually spend less than 15 minutes a week on dice sites, but some times I spend significantly more time on it when there is a special event like Happy Hour and Trivia.

Yes I'm also find myself more interested in Sports betting and Dice games. In dice gambling I prefer to go with automated way so that this automated way make me to play dice games all full day. I play dice gambling almost 10 to 12 hours per day in automated way.

Yes automated way of playing dice games is also my favorite way. I use only their faucet earning for my gambling which ensures my way of safer gambling even I make only little profit over some period. I usually gamble only for fun and entertainment.
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 05, 2015, 10:04:45 AM
South African batsmen looking like totally crap with very poor form into test match and this kind of slow pitches which is only for spinners so that it have to learn this strategy how to survive on Asian ground.

I think SA still not adjusted with indian spin pitches still struggling. The way they played both one day and T20 matches, initially I thought this test series also they will win easily but their test performance is completely different from one day and T20 matches. Yesterday Indian bowlers did a superb bowling to restrict SA for just 121 runs. I think this match also will not go to 5th day play.

Yes, India will win this test match within 4th day hopefully. This is India's all department display unlike previous matches of this series. So far only spin bowlers has been shinning for India. Only this time India face bowlers took wickets and Indian batsmen scored a century.

Yes India in strong position in this test match also against South Africa unlike any previous series they did not dominate the visitors this much. So, there are lot of possibilities for 3-0 win of white wash is visible for India test history.

India may be in strong positions but I still have more belief on South African bounce back to this match just because of the nature of this pitch. I guess pitch will be more flat on day four and five and South Africans may find it easy to draw this match.

That would never happen in Indian pitches and too against current Indian spinners. Because India got very good spinning and pace bowling attack now a days. South Africa players are running away from their responsibilities. So, there are very less chances for South Africa to bounce back.
2458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: December 05, 2015, 09:59:20 AM
It is with pleasure If you dare to play,  you should not be sorry Or feel bad about it,
nobody forced you to play.. But if today you feel unhappy with that.
I think you just stop doing it on your own.
And try to find something else to do but different one . Because it is so much more that you have not done.
Maybe it's time to change your life Wink

The pushing force is our additions and greedy nature. So, in order to stay away from gambling we must have good will power and self discipline habits. Then we can deviate our concentrations into some other things to get rid of gambling activities. But slow progress is only possible.

I agree only our will power may save ourselves from any kind of addictions or forcing natures. With will power only we can develop any good habits which are needed not to gamble or while gambling we need to follow some tricks.
2459  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: December 05, 2015, 09:56:43 AM
LOL, definitely not 15 years. Maybe 50 years. The whole economy would crash if bitcoins replace dollars.

In 50 years also, a absolute replacement is not possible as each and every transactions needs to be done on bitcoin ecosystem or crypto-currency systems. So, even bitcoin goes into main stream, replacing dollars completely is not a viable as per day to day transactions.

Why are so many people desperately focussing on Bitcoin replacing the US dollar? It won't happen. Bitcoin and fiat currencies can perfectly co-exist alongside each other and can even benefit from each others existence. The US dollar will survive everything you throw at it as the US government can easily create thousands of billions out of thin air.

Very good point. Both bitcoin and fiat economy will exist and will serve our human beings in different ways. Because in my view there are lot of applications still require fiat economy where only up to some layers bitcoin will serve it's own part.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 05, 2015, 09:51:15 AM
I see a lot of people that they say don't gamble is the safest method.

That is not true just play and have fun, but don't play if you can afford losing your money.

Yes. if some one not started gambling than the better option is do not start because there is no real benefits from the gambling except if one is lucky than they can make some quick bucks but there is a lot of risks involved. Another advantage is fun but this fun can be found in many other ways for that no need to chose this risky method.

But people are not listening our suggestions of staying away from gambling. Most of the people learn lessons from their own experience. But hardly people start gambling for fun. They really come to gambling for making quick money but then consoles themselves with little entertainments.

Absolutely true. In my experience I also did not listen to my friends and I also started gambling for doubling my bitcoins. But I am able to manage to be in profit as I gamble only for very little amount of bitcoins.
May be after the advises from your friends you have played gambling very safely and now you find yourself in profit side. This may be another method of safe gambling. If we get proper guide from friends and family we may find ourselves more disciplined gamblers to make some profits.
