nxt has many innovative features

NXT, just like every other IPO coin is nothing but a scam.  See my quote on that below:

Anything premined with an IPO over the span of 1 second usually has an abysmal market penetration defeating the whole purpose of cryptocurrency, or just results in a pyramid scheme to try and force the masses to enrich a handful of people.  This isn't why Bitcoin was created and seems like a blatant hijack of it to turn it into a get rich quick scheme.  If the proof of stake coin is mined over a long period, like Bitcoin is, then my stance on that is obviously different.

bitcoin (oh "so so glorious pow"!) has one of the worst distributions of all cryptocurrencies and this is where discussion ends. what u are saying comes from the mouth of a hardcore hypocrite playing with "what is scam/unfair and what isnt". a joke for anyone with well functioning brain. thank u for ur post, best example for delusion.

It's true many of Bitcoin's early adopters accumulated a disproportionate amount of coins through the PoW distribution method, but that was a result of being a pioneering technology and the timeframe it was developed under, not a failure of the distribution method.

BTC was publicly released fairly through several forums including this one. Everyone that wanted to could have participated and it was mined on personal computers for YEARS before ASIC took over and centralized mining. BTC early adopters also had to wait YEARS before they were able to cash in their holdings for untold riches. Many, many years that took not selling when their holdings were worth $1 each, as many did and multiple spikes and crashes along the way.

That is completely different than an unfair implementation of PoW distribution by design that many of the shitcoin scams use to deliberately concentrate the mining to enrich the 'devs' and early adopters with large block rewards upfront, insta-nimes, fast-mines, delaying the wallet release, etc.

Here is one way to prevent scam coins with the community, offer a bounty for coin inspection from newly made coins, to check if the code is legit or not

That's what the proposal BinaryClock from Dedicated Pools is working on is about:

everyone can't you see this coin and others he is working on is most likely for a school project?  if you don't like it leave, if you don't want to mine it don't mine it.  there is no need for the other crap.

School project in how to create shitcoins to scam people with? He has already stated his primary goal is to get the coin listed on exchanges :

Do you have further plans, or run away after launch.
Yes we have future plans. First we have asked many Exchanges. Now we build the Windows Wallet.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=653680.msg7335043#msg7335043

In the unlikely event this even gets listed, people need to be made aware of the FACTS before they scammed. Creating multiple threads for the same Cryptonote clone ninja launched without a Windows wallet and calling it a 'Foundation' or scamming people calling a school project does not change the FACTS.

He also keeps creating multiple threads to try in hide the fact this is nothing but a 100% instal-mine scam with THOUSANDS of blocks mined in less than 24 hours without a Windows wallet.

Don't worry, I'm 100% ... snip...  stupid enough .. snip

Can you maybe, go away, and write up a guide, on how to launch a coin? How to do it fairly, with no premine, or scam, with all the wallets working, so everyone can get a chance to get in there early. I think it would be really useful for future coin devs.

Heck I'll even put up a bounty for it, since it would so be so useful for the community, and you obviously have so much knowledge about this stuff which we havn't really figured out yet..

Also, FYI, that 'original thread' you posted to is not the original launch thread. Again, it's the little details that count. Like the numbers, actual happenings.. correct information. I know it's hard. I use an Excel spreadsheet to keep track.

http://altcoinherald.com/recognize-cartoon-coin-dev-see-one/

These alt clones are all the same and created for a single self-serving purpose that has nothing to do with creating a true altcoin. The problem is BTC a limited resource and the more people that get burned in these scams, the less fools there are to participate in the next alt shitcoin that comes around. I hope to see the day when all this nonsense comes to an end and instead focus on alts created out of innovation rather than created by self-serving illusionary nonsense as their motivation.

In an unregulated market filled with scams on a daily basis, legitimacy is key factor determining the success of a coin, a real developer only launches a coin with that goal in mind to separate his coin from the rest. They rely on what the coin brings to the table rather than hype to generate interest. The coins plans and development roadmap are announced ahead of time where they be evaluated by potential investors and the coin has a fair launch once the coin is ready.

On the other hand scammer 'devs' rely on lies and obfuscation to try cover up the fact they don't know shit or even care about launching a legitimate alt coin. As in this classic case, they launch unoriginal clone clones that bring nothing to the table and does nothing to further the development of crypto, with the only goal of scamming bigger fools.

Another sure sign the coin is a scam is they create multiple announcement threads with the goal of attempting to cover up the FACTS once they get called on their scam, as in this case where the original thread shows everyone asking about the lack of a Windows wallet after a ninja launch.

wants people to believe he wasn't mining at launch. HAHAHAHA!

Well for one, I believe.

Its just that someone of us got our linux wallet working early, and were mining

If you missed out on that stage its not our fault.

Don't worry, I'm 100% positive I haven't missed anything. The 'devs' history and story doesn't correlate with his actions for them to be credible. The ninja launch, blocktime and reward structure make it an insta-mine scam even if the Windows wallet would have been available at launch. The fact that there was no Windows wallet when over 90% use Windows only makes the scam even worse, with fewer people able to mine the hundreds of blocks generated right after launch, conveniently all with the largest rewards. The coin is worthless, even if it manages to get on an exchange, it will be dumped so hard on anyone stupid enough to put in a bid on this pure coingen garbage.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ORC] OrionCoin a CPU Coin ASIC RESISTANT //Official on: June 16, 2014, 06:00:22 AM
The block explorer will show thousands of blocks were mined in the first hours alone.

I shouldn't but I can't help it....

I thought it was 400 blocks?
400 = thousands?

hmmmmm

I guess your too stupid to know the difference between minutes and hours. Not surprising since you apparently can't tell the difference between what makes an obvious scam from a credible coin. Must be pretty sad and desperate having to sockpuppet for scams! I'll spell it out for you, over 400 blocks were mined in three minutes and i'm sure the block explorer will show over 1/3 of the 1500 TOTAL blocks mined so far were mined shortly after the coin was ninja launched without a Windows wallet and it's currently less than 8 hours after launch, a CLASSIC insta-mine scam. Yet the same scammer 'dev' that has launched failed shitcoin scams over and over before, wants people to believe he wasn't mining at launch. HAHAHAHA!
2447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ORC] OrionCoin a CPU Coin ASIC RESISTANT //Official on: June 16, 2014, 05:41:25 AM
tired arguments.

There is actually. At the moment all CN coins are new, and virtually identical (boolberry aside, they swapped out the algo and added the auto-by-default donation to devs.)  They all have the same properties, so if you're saying CN is not new and exciting, well.. that's your choice.

As for the 400 blocks 'premined', that is total crap. There were people mining this before you, deal with it.  The network hash rate has been extremely low from the start, and even if it were a premine of 400 blocks ( which it is not) it would be a whopping 1600 coins, a tiny % of the total coin supply. When you compare this to something like NTR or DRK npremines, it's basically so small it's not even worth factoring in.

Wrong, you're going to have to deal with the fact this coin is nothing but a 100% insta-mine scam, which soon become more and more obvious to you. It's identical and has the same properties as Cryptonote because it's nothing but a clone from a scammer 'dev' too stupid to do anything else.  Ninja launching without a Windows wallet and allocating the largest rewards up front according to the total outstanding coins and lowest diff, there is ZERO doubt this is nothing but a 100% insta-mine scam. The block explorer will show thousands of blocks were mined in the first hours alone. The coin is worthless to anyone that has more than two brain cells to rub together and I don't waste my time or hash on mining garbage.

If you want to know, the first hour (and now) We can't mine. We had use a Special Version of OrionCoin (a Deamon that don't connect to other Nodes) to make the Network Stable. And it's no instamine or a scam.

If you don't like us or the Coin, just go away.

And about the Ninja Launch, a Coin you can build in less than a Hour.

And about the Windows Wallet, We build it (first experience with Windows)

Over 400 blocks were mined in the first three minutes alone as the original thread shows:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=653578.msg7332944#msg7332944

You can't mine and you can't launch a credible coin either. Given the fact it's a Cryptonote clone with a reward structure allocating the largest rewards early on when there are the fewest miners and according to the total outstanding coins and lowest diff, exactly what would be the reason to ninja launch a coin without a prior announcement and especially without a Windows wallet? Only you knew of the launch ahead of time and launching with the reward structure of the coin, without a Windows wallet is self-serving and disingenuous at best. You created and launched the coin that way, now you must deal with the FACTS as i'm sure the block explorer WILL show!

i actually like the fact its all command line

Yup, sure its easy to use.. crazy how people come into a new coin thread thinking they are getting into something exciting and new, something they are gonna make money off.. but expect it to be handed to them in a nice GUI package that gets started with one or two clicks :S

LOL, you are either a sockpuppet or must be describing something else. There is nothing exiting or new about a 100% Cryptonote clone. As if launching without a Windows wallet and insta-mining 400+ blocks in less than three minutes wasn't enough failure, the same scammer 'dev' just keeps adding to his list of failed shitcoins and this one will be no different

The plan is to relaunch the same Cryptonote clone over and over to try and find a few suckers that don't yet know this nothing but 100% insta-mine scam ninja launched without a Windows wallet

Im sorry developers but this doesnt look promising at all.
No innovation, no win wallet, mined blocks? What do you think you will achieve here?

We have innovation. 90% ready GUI, we work on a Web Wallet, a reward based on Difficulty and Hashrate and much much more, we also have a forgot password and, much much more.
Are you putting these features into HorizionCoin as well?

Implying the coin wont die in a few days like his previous 2 coins
Exactly. And that he hasn't left all of us who supported MountCoin high and dry. I'm sure he's going to say that this is a "different team"

I am only the Marketing and Web Developer. I am a neutral Person. There is no MountCoin Team anymore. There are two Teams one for HorizonCoin and Orioncoin.
Orioncoin has nothing with HorizonCoin/MountCoin together and HorizonCoin/MountCoin with Orioncoin.

Two different Teamy, two different Core Developers.

If you want it to know:

HorizonCoin: 4 Members
Orioncoin: 9 Members

Grin no offence, but why did they choose you ? (knowing that people don't like a lot when the same username release several coin within a few days... are you fuguecoin dev ?  Grin sorry need to ask)

9 members, not one willing to release a windows wallet... (9 members wanting to mine it a lot before it gets released) yeah right....  Grin

You are wrong. We started with Block 0 on the Release. We don't mine our own Coin (later when the difficulty is high we start to mine for bounties).

And we can't release now the Windows Wallet, we need to install Windows and get the Key from our University.

They know me because I am there Classmates. And one of the best in HTML and PHP

You follow the same pattern and launch coins only to make self-serving excuses each time. I'm sure it was the tooth fairy that mined those 400 blocks+ as the first indicates.

You know that at the beginning we had 0 Blocks and the first 10min only 100h/s. We don't mine. And if you want we can post our Wallet and you see that we only have 0 Coins.

The FACTS and block explorer don't lie, scammer 'devs' like you do. Your shitcoin is an unoriginal 100% Cryptonote clone, there is no reason to launch the coin without a Windows wallet. Anything else is BS in attempt to try cover up the fact you were the only one aware prior to launch when more than 400 blocks are mined in less three minutes after you ninja launch the coin without a Windows wallet.

I am not a Developer of OrionCoin. And you know that there are also GPU Miner for CryptoNote. Also with a low difficulty Miners can mine fast a Block. And in the first 10min there was only 36 Blocks.

Browse the Blockchain and you see the time when a Block was mined.

I hope you understand it now.

I am not a Developer of OrionCoin. I only have created the Topic and build the Website

I already know you are not a real developer, you are an amateur scammer probably living in your mother's basement. A real coin developer only launches a coin when it's ready and is able to fix any problems quickly. A scammer launches a 100% clone of a real developers coin, has an unfair launch with a huge instamine and then makes excuses when problems occur instead of being able to fix them. This is the reason why all your shitcoins fail, which will soon become more an more obvious.

No, we don't mine. We have a growing Community.

Interesting to see people selling so low as the block reward just halved.
Maybe they don't realize it... whatever.

It's not low. I rented rigs last night for 0.0009 BTC per MH/day which came out to me paying 0.00055085 BTC for each FRAC mined during the rental. I can sell them for an instant 300%+ profit at the current price. Those with large farms that mined them for the electrical cost obviously did even better.

Bill Still is a leading authority and researcher on alternative currencies and the history of money. He has produced several award winning documentares including:

The Money Masters (1996):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfpO-WBz_mw

The Secret of Oz (2010):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swkq2E8mswI
While he helped bring more attention to alt coins he also had no real understanding of what he was promoting. Many people got burned with the Quark pump.

Hopefully he gives an accurate, fair and informed presentation in his documentary.

Bill Still has a deep knowledge and understanding about the function of money. If you had watched any of his work and research, you would know he is a very outspoken critic of using money as a form to gain financial wealth instead of it's intended use as a means of transaction serving the public intrest, with extensive documented research on the subject. He is anything but an advocate of Pump and Dump schemes. In fact as recent as a year ago he was against BTC for that very reason:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDgnu5B1SJM

Only recently has he come around to crypto as a means of currency created in the goal of serving the public interest. Don't blame him if YOU took that as a sign to invest in any particular currency with the goal of realizing a quick profit. That is NOT what a real currency or his message advocating crypto is about.

10 gig miner on dedicated
13 gig miner on ipominer
Do you have to rent major hash to comnpete?

The block rewards halves in 140 blocks so I'm sure the diff will go down substantially. As it is, only those that acquired substantial hash before the first block reduction were able to accumulate the majority of the coins. Whether they will dump them for a quick profit or not remains to be seen.

All of my hashes are getting rejected as low diff shares, is it possible I dont have my X11 miner configured correctly? I just started using it.........:\

Ive been using x13, skipped messing with x11....
use kernel darkcoin

This miner is the best x11/x13 miner available:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.0

~50% higher hash than SPH-sgminer. Use -k x11mod in the miner bat or add the line "kernel" : "x11mod", in the configuration file.
