2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 04, 2016, 02:52:23 PM
because it's entertaining and makes making profit look easy "it is not actually easy at all, even professional gamblers rarely make big profit"
It is actually interesting point. Show me a professional who earned his money exclusively by gambling.
Because from what I could see none of rich 'gamblers' earned money from it alone. It seems that 'easy' money from gambling is an illusion after all.
2442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 04, 2016, 02:15:42 PM
Playing at negative expectancy gives you the real chills, because it's very exciting if you win big because it required bigger luck, than with positive expectancy.

Thats is why winning the lottery is so exciting.
How exactly this has to do with long run profits from gambling? Of course winning is exiting, no matter if that is lottery or Dice.
But you can be lucky for a period of time and not all the time, that is why living from gambling alone is very hard and almost impossible.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: February 04, 2016, 01:47:47 PM
Bitcoin pvp battle game is great I think, but based on rpg, I means don't make a really good graphic, just simple, but the gameplay enjoyable, the odds can setting in low I think.
In pvp type of games odds are not important due to fact that this type of games are not played against the house. There are, however, some other serious problems with developing these kind of games.
I am talking mainly about multiboxing and scripts, bots. That is why we don't see many of pvp gambling initiatives, beside standard Poker variations.

most casino have roullete and bacarat, dont you have plans to add it on your casino? lots of players might visit your site if you offer that games Smiley
But is baccarat and roulette really that popular among bitcoin users? From my experience they are not that.
Just focus on perfecting games that are ultra popular like Dice (with its various kinds), Black Jack, Slots and Poker maybe. That is all imo.
2446  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dodadoo - Win Bitcoin while playing dices on: February 03, 2016, 07:02:34 AM
The graphic is very nice,
but the game is provably fair ? Huh Huh

Of course!!! You could see how we get results in our Fair Play page. You'll find it at the bottom of the page.

Remember that you have a Welcome gift when you register!

Thanks.

Dodadoo team.
Interesting, I didn't know that there is a promotion going on if you didn't mention about this welcoming gift here. You may want to tell people what it is exactly in OP.
People are gonna flock if that offer is really competitive and will be disappointed if that is like 100.000 satoshis or something.
2447  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dodadoo - Win Bitcoin while playing dices on: February 02, 2016, 11:46:43 AM
On the "How To Play" page, you ask people to register an account on http://dodadoo.com/customer/create. I click it, and it doesn't seem to be working at all.
The form itself is not working (i.e, is not showing) for you or after completing it noting happened?
For me after filling form with data it seems that SEND button is inactive, and I can't send it, is it the same for you?
2448  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dodadoo - Win Bitcoin while playing dices on: February 02, 2016, 11:18:41 AM
Yeah you should put the probably fair thing.
I personally don't the like background music...
Good luck.
Without provably fair system implemented any bitcoin gambling site seems lackluster, but it seems that Op knows that too and we will see PF system implemented.
You can already turn off the music on the site (I advice that 'off' setting was set by default as it is not that important). Also adding chat will be nice addition imo.
2449  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Sports Gambling Website? Legalities of BTC Gambling? on: February 02, 2016, 10:51:55 AM
I think Bitcoin is still not regulated in the USA it's actually banned in few countries and I am seeing a lot of Americans betting on sports with bitcoins every day so you are safe for now. And if you like to wager on American Sports I would recommend NitrogenSports they have a really nice selection there for all kind of lines.
It is actually the other way around. Bitcoin gambling is regarded in the same way as standard FIAT gambling services by US law - therefore is illegal.
That is also a reason many bitcoin gambling sites (PrimeDice) ceased their activity on US soil (if you are US citizen you can still access them and play via VPN).
2450  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Bingo on: February 01, 2016, 05:42:46 AM
We used to have more bingo sites for bitcoin such as: http://www.coinbingo.co/ and https://www.bingo7.net/ but I think they are dead forever.
The problem with bingo is its low popularity among bitcoin users, as bingo is viewed as old people choice of spending time or something like that.
Your best shot is probbly trying bingo on bitbingo.io
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ugliest gambling site? on: February 01, 2016, 05:05:27 AM
Here are my list of ugly casinos, dont get mad it is just my own opinion.
Moneypot, cyptogames, and Betcoin.tm
The background ang graphics looks outdated, its like playing a game during the 90's
I too find background of betcoin.tm rather ugly - these colors are hard on my eyes, I wonder if layout was designed by colorblind individual.
That leads to my another suggestion - bigger casinos like betcoin.tm should have set of skins and layouts available, at least allow users to change color scheme!
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 01, 2016, 05:01:53 AM
Don't visit gambling sites, and stay away from the gambling section. Get a life, get a hobby to distract you, e.t.c

The problem is when someone's hobby is still in computer, that way, you'll be tempt to revisit the sites where you have fun before..  Cheesy a hobby that has no computer involve could really help..  Smiley
Indeed. I once tried to block some website on my own but eventually I unblock them myself a few days later.
The moral of the story is, ask someone to block the website you don't want to visit anymore in the future. Because you know how to unblock it if you do it yourself.
The moral of the story is not to ask someone else to block a casino's website for you. It is flawed logic if you think that could help.
You have to *want* to stop gambling yourself. If someone else block it, you will try to find another way, play on another machine, on smartphone or during work etc.
2453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: joy and sorrow you, since know bitcoin? on: January 31, 2016, 05:26:21 AM
sorrow : when i got scammed on HYIP site because when it was happening im still a shitty dumb noob who still need to learn anything in bitcoin world
It is actually not bitcoin's fault that people keep repeating the same kind of mistakes over and over again. Of course that any kind of irreversible payment method is a paradise for all sort of exploiters.
Most people seems to forget that no one is gonna give them super-ultra-good chance to turn 0.1 BTC into 1 BTC in a week.
2454  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 31, 2016, 05:08:56 AM
yes, of course i believe in bitcoin, one day it will replace all the currencies in the world in my opinion

All of us believe in bitcoin that is why we are here.. hehe..  Smiley

I think it can't replace currency in this coming years, maybe years after our generation, probably..  Wink
I doubt we will have bitcoin in 20 years. Something similar in nature, yes, bitcoin not really. Bitcoin is too easy to manipulate and I mean not the price - but whole viewpoint of people on Bitcoin.
We have one stupid information about 'terrorists' using bitcoin and whole society is freaked out (it doesn't matter that terrorists are using dollars or euro, ridiculous amount of it, actually, everyday).
2455  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: January 31, 2016, 04:41:53 AM
i think that it could actually happen in the future though it will require the mass adoption to happen and people starting use it way more in their everyday life
It never gonna happen, Bitcoin will always gonna be niche technology used by few hipsters. If it was so amazing it will be adopted already - everywhere.
Current FIAT system is rooted so hard in people's mind that we need to change whole 'what is real money' approach changed for cryptocurrencies to be regarded.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 31, 2016, 04:02:20 AM
I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol
You need to direct you attention to something else. Find another way to spend your free time, expand your interests, find other hobbies.
Set hard limit on your gambling bankroll, the best way is to create special wallet for your gambling purposes, if you lose all that money - then you stop.
2457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live betting on sports on: January 31, 2016, 03:12:55 AM
Definitely depends on the sport but I like to bet before the match starts on the underdog and then play the favorite live if I want to at the point. Never like to lay coin on heavy favorites before match start.
And how exactly this depends on the sport?

I don't like to bet during an event. I try to calculate and do research before I bet and letting your emotions go while match is on contradicts that principle.
So my advice is - unless you know what your are doing, and your judgement is clear don't bet during the match, ever.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is 100% a US/UK government agency collaboration on: January 30, 2016, 01:42:48 PM

*Some UK spelling in the whitepaper (favourable) whilst Satoshi uses USA spelling on bitcointalk posts
Ever considered that he was using an auto-correction functionality in his browser or something? He could have set it to 'traditional English'  instead of US English.
And in his text editor he could have set US correction by default or something. Some people don't care about that.

Quote
* In some old bitcointalk posts he interchanges I with we in a very suspicious way that an individual would not do

I know some people who have similar manner of speaking. They like to intertwine 'I' with 'We' when talking about their project or something.
He might also thought of bitcoin community as a whole - hence 'we' use instead of 'I'.
2459  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would happen to Bitcoin IF the price of the dollar crashed? on: January 30, 2016, 01:35:21 PM
it will be simply be evaluated with the second stronger currency in fiat, so euro or cny, if every major fiat crashes that would be a major thing to thinkg about

the only possibility would be barter at that point...
That is correct. If dollar crashes there will be always some alternative currency eagerly waiting to take the place of the former hegemon.
So after the stir and crisis is gone we will see Euro or Pound as next global currency and bitcoin price will be measured mainly by these.
Will BTC go up? It is a hard question, in the initial phase probably not, but later after the crisis probably yes.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sport To Gamble on: January 30, 2016, 01:26:05 PM
Also, I think the best is tennis and soccer. Earlier I thought so about boxing, but after the last fight of Klitschko I changed my mind. Wink

It is not like you meant to win all the time when bet on current champion. No one can stay on top forever. There are gonna be upsets sooner or later in every sport.
That is why sport betting is part of gambling, there are other factors like luck, current shape and form and motivation as well. I heard Klitschko lost because his wife has serious problems with depression.
