2441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 18, 2021, 09:15:15 PM
Government can literally take your private keys as easily as your hidden physical gold if they want, i mean good luck hidding that private key and if it's only in some physical device, it doesn't matter if officials can decrypt it or not if they confiscate it. Also btc wallet isn't an anonymous wallet, it's pseudonymous. You might feel that's nitpicking, but it makes all the difference since EVERYTHING can be tracked. That comes problematic when you try to cash out a bigger sum and your id will go to that mix.

The government can’t take my bitcoin, they won’t find my private keys, impossible. It really isn’t that hard to engrave them on something & hide or bury them. I could do 15 years in jail, get out & nobody would have found them.

Bitcoin is better than gold in every way.
Crypto does have that kind of characteristics but honestly i dont get the point on why people do really compared out Bitcoin into a natural mineral that can be founded on earth. When it comes to value
then we do know on whats the position of gold.Well it might not really be that volatile compared to bitcoin but when it comes to store of value and security then i would say that
gold would really have it but well they do serve out different markets and at least we do have some option to take.
2442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 18, 2021, 08:09:52 PM
I was with a friend today who was in a hurry to place his bet on some numbers that were sent to him for some football matches that he believes are fixed. I'm a bit confused how fixed matches work.

Are fixed matches real? Do the coach and players of teams were matches have been fixed, do they consent to it? If you were in a team were your next fixture has been fixed, what will be your reaction?

Fixed matches do really exist but these kind of information doesnt really just came out on randomly or in public unless if you are part of big mafia or some organization then you would might able to get these information.

Asking out about on how its been done? On the word fixed matches then they do know on what to do and of course it do involves money on any team which is connected to it.

So hows your friend able to acquire that info? If random text or emails then it is likely a scam attempt.
Scam attempt on the sense that there are people who do ask out for some payment for the tip but the truth that they are just making random guesses and pass it to people and claim it that it was fixed and if that tip won then people do tend to believe on it and ask out for more and this time it requires payment. These information would come into different mediums which you wouldnt really expect
but be cautious anytime you do really make out betting decisions.
2443  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you explain the October pump? on: October 18, 2021, 06:41:07 PM
Why is investing in crypto said to have a very high risk, because the price is very volatile, no one can guarantee until the end of October the market
will continue to rise. But so far the performance of most cryptos is very good, especially Bitcoin price can stay above $60k and probably will return
to ATH price in the near future. I agree with you, to be safer, we should take profit a coins that have reached a high enough price. Then we will not
regret if suddenly the market crashes, we lose the opportunity to get profit. Even though the price is increasing, we are just waiting for a correction
to occur to buy again coins that we consider potential.

Yes, it is true,
We must have our own pattern in making purchases, the pattern must be based on current market conditions, so that we really take the right decision to buy, usually people make purchases when the coin price drops and sell when the coin goes up, and I believe the condition of bitcoin will affect altcoins on the market. Regarding the risks of investing in crypto, I think everything we are going to do has risks, especially when it comes to investing.
Some people start buying when the price rises and they do that in a rush without thinking that the increase is only for a while and then back to the lower price. But this October, maybe the increases of the price get a good time whereas people see the good moment to buy crypto and give support to the crypto because of some good news out there. That support can lift the price to start increase, even if that will be a step by step to achieve the next high price like what we saw to bitcoin. So while we see that the bullish still at the market, we can analyze where we should sell the coin and what price we can place to make a profit.
When making buying positions or decisions then it would be always like a hit or miss and its always been like that on which people doo really make out decisions from time to time and whenever they do
saw opportunities for them to buy then they do make out actions whether its just a fake pump or totally a reversal- no one could actually tell. This October pump reason is unknown yet but we can
presume out situations like this to be very common because market is unpredictable. It could move without that obvious reason and this is where people decisions do vary basing up with their
own experience and knowledge towards the market.
2444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just a piece of advice needed here folks on: October 15, 2021, 09:34:03 PM
Hello everyone, please I really would like how you folks get pull out in a project with huge or reasonably profit locked-in.

I started trading (long-term) for couple of years back now and since then i've been doing averagely okay on whatever altcoins project I put into. But what I seem to be lacking is when to actually get out at the right appropriate time.

At least, if not perfectly okay, a bit fairly okay.
Please my pull out strategy are quite poor, kindly help a soul out before it gets completely worst. 🙏

All ideas are welcome please.

Thank you all! 👍
I think the first question that comes to my mind is what is your current strategy to take profits from the coins in which you have invested?

Something tells me that you do not have a clear strategy about what to do under those circumstances, however do not despair, at least it seems that you can select good projects with certain regularity otherwise you will not ask that question so you are already doing well, one exit strategy is to set yourself a goal and then sell no matter what, but you run the risk of missing a huge bull run, another strategy is to sell after the price drops a specific percentage after an ATH so you keep most of the profits you got during that movement.
Actual experience on which he would able to realized things and this is the time he would really make out some learnings and been aware on how this market works and we know that taking profits do certainly vary on how well we do make out investment decisions here on this market and this isnt something simple that you could deal off with.Just learn up the basics and terminologies
and other definitions and the rest would be eventually learn as you do progress by.You can read up some advises but honestly you could learn up for yourself without the need
of those words and making yourself self learn on things around.
2445  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 15, 2021, 08:35:54 PM

You know NFTs demands ~XD.

Rollbits say sold out with 24 seconds, is actually you still can get the NFTs with the manual purchase since have a lot time not even need to use the bots. If the sale sold out in around 1-3 second, then you maybe unlucky to not get any NFTs due purchase from all user at the same time could lead some lag or site not responding.
Cant really blame those people who do really take some blame on bots whenever there's a sale or something correlated to it which people do really end up on missing a sale because it is sold out on seconds but honestly we couldnt really tell if it was the actual reason because you dont know on how many people had been keeping on eye for the said sale.
Rollbots hype is seems to be on the roof as of this moment.Lots had been longing to own one.
2446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: October 15, 2021, 07:44:00 PM
Cryptocurrency is essential for the development of a country?
Does cryptocurrency play an effective role in the development of the country? Or does it hinder the development of the country and cause extreme damage to the country?
What do you think about this?
Its a digital currency therefore it could stand or serve as same on what we are seeing on fiat now but the big difference here is that it wasnt centralized and we know on how currencies do works or function and in regarding on the question if its really literally needed for a country or important then its not really that sure. Why? Fiat do exist and we know that its doing its job
and we know that it is impossible for fiat to be replaced by something which is totally uncontrollable.Government wouldnt really let for this thing to happen.
As long they do exist then centralized objects or things will be much preferred.
2447  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the effects of China's central bank declaring all crypto illegal? on: October 14, 2021, 11:34:00 PM
Here is a great chart I saw comparing china's bitcoin bans with contrasting price moves afterward.

Newcomers to crypto may view chinese bitcoin bans as a doomsday event where the sky is falling. Historical trends however are not that bad.

China's economy may take a big hit as crypto miners exodus from the country. Taking with them considerable capital, electrical consumption, jobs and economic growth which are attributed to cryptocurrency innovation.

If china banned the wheel, shortly after it was first invented. Undoubtedly, they would suffer in ways. Perhaps the same can be said of their stance towards crypto.
If you are just new into this market then you would typically freak out but if you had been get used to into this market then you would just say "meh" here we go again kind of lines.
Banning and events like these arent something new.It do make out some fuds and talks about crash in price but it didnt happen but instead those movements are just ordinary ones
No matter how hard the market would crash or price decrease it would always be having that kind of recovery in the end of the day.
2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputable dice sites with instant/flash bets on: October 14, 2021, 10:19:18 PM
We know the risk of gambling and whatever games you're playing there's always a house edge because its their business and they have to make money on every games. If you can't take that risk then don't try to gamble at all, because you will lose money here and its inevitable.

There is a big difference between gambling like poker and gambling like dice. And i discouraged OP just about using autobets on dice, because this is full nonsense. If you have too much excess money you can just give it to me rather spending them on autobets  Grin (joke)
When it comes to capital then theres no such thing about infinite bankroll which would fit out on autobetting even on demo games which those funds wouldnt really be enough or mostly
get bust up on a short span of time which is expected for dice game which are on automode. No matter what you do then you would still end up on losing despite of countless
strategies that you would used you would still end up on the same outcome which people should really realized on.
2449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk? on: October 14, 2021, 09:21:49 PM
I think that Dogecoin would definitely survive without Elon Musk. For example, it is already surviving while Elon Musk is not doing anything to show his support for it. And by the way, Dogecoin was already surviving before Elon Musk started a big hype about it for the first time. The price was of course not this big but it was able to survive in the end. It was just no more than a meme coin, that's all.

It was barely alive if you think elon isn't a huge factor here you are kidding yourself.  What else does doge have or do that every other coin can't?  Aren't they still trying to implement segwit which was like a 2016 thing lol.  No one is working on doge and it's reliant on all bitcoin upgrades for them to keep.up.  it's a joke clone coin that's it, period.
And it was hyped by someone which is a billionaire and as this market is really highly reactive to hypes and news then its no surprising that it did really make out some significant rise up on prices.
This is why you should really be careful on making out decisions because this would really cost you money whenever you do caught yourself in the middle of the dump which would really
end up for you to hold for long term until you do make cut losses. Every coin does have particular risk and its usage and its true that this was just a clone meme coin in the first place.
2450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitage trading on: October 14, 2021, 08:19:49 PM
I saw an opportunity to make a profit by arbitrage trading. The price difference in some exchanges seems like it could make a profit. I'm just thinking, not sure. does it could really make any difference because if any transaction takes more time then any trader will lose the initial money.
I saw many youtube videos saying that anyone could make money from this type of trading. Need suggestions from professionals. Smiley
Arbitrage trading can be profitable, however there are some problems that you need to solve first, arbitrage trading gives very small profits in each trade so if you want to use this style of trading then you need a huge amount of capital, something the majority of the people do not have, the other issue is that the distortions in the market last a very short time as there are people like you with the same idea and they want to get that money for themselves, so you will need a bot to trade this way in an effective manner.
When it comes to arbitrage then there are few things to put into consideration which is on the ff;

1. Legitimacy of the exchange platform
2. Price gap or differences.
3. Trading fees
4. Withdrawal fees

You should be at least aware on how things should be done for you to utilize profits but if not then you would just be ending up on
on getting nothing because you would just simply pay up for the fees.
2451  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 14, 2021, 07:19:24 PM
Yeah but its definitely not poker and launching their own sportsbook was good enough already
With the sportsbook launched by roobet, it is indeed a good achievement but with so many games is it even better? Obviously Yes

Actually, I don't really enjoy playing poker, but some still want something different in it which if Roobet can listen to suggestions from many people and consider it, it will be expanded again.

Because I don't like poker with roobet now for me it's enough just a few features need to be add again.
It would be basing up on the demand and if Roobet would be finding out that there is sufficient demand for said gambling game then they might really be considering it because theyre really good on
adding up something which they do seem that they could really make bigger revenue if they do see that there are lots who had been asking for it and we didnt even expect that Roobet did really
consider on adding up a sportbook which we do only have anticipated that they would stick out on casino type games but here we are now. They are offering a bit more.
2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We enter a new era of heavy regulations on: October 13, 2021, 10:59:21 PM
Maybe this new heavy regulator era will be and a great opportunity for a growth to p2p exchanges.
Not really that surprising because government would really love to involved on things which they cant able to take some grasp out of it thats why they do target out platforms or services that do connects through it and

as a user then we wouldnt really be having any choice but to deal with it and KYC is indeed the new era since we've seen on how BInance been affected on this one where verification is already mandatory.

Sooner or later on upcoming years to come then it wont really be a new thing on seeing this new standard and us users would really be having no choice.
Even on our local wallet provider which the regulation becomes more tightier as the years passing by where current users wouldnt really have any choice but to accept with those terms despite of being
already centralized because there's no other way for us to make out some fiat conversion but only on this path which means users will really be dealing with the verification needed even though its
totally opposing on what they do prefer but due to this very reason then we wont really be having any choice and i agree on what is op been saying about this heavy regulation thing.
2453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it last long or temporary? on: October 13, 2021, 10:13:18 PM
The downward trend in Bitcoin prices has continued since a few weeks ago until now where the bitcoin price is still at the level of $42k. Will Bitcoin's downward trend continue or will it return to the $50,000 to $60,000 price level next month?
I think the downward trend in bitcoin price is over. Entering the month of October, Bitcoin price movements are very significant. Bitcoin bounced back up to the current $57k level. The potential to continue strengthening continues until the end of this month. Therefore I think the $60k figure will be easy to break this month considering the bitcoin price has already reached $57k.

Bitcoin's 14% increase this week is a good result, so it's only natural to be optimistic that the downtrend is over. So the price of Bitcoin is very likely
starting this month will continue to rise until the end of the year, but it's possible that the opposite can happen. This is why investing in Bitcoin
must be careful, because the risk is very high, the price of Bitcoin is volatile and difficult to predict. A good plan and strategy is needed, so we can
also prepare for the worst scenario that will happen, so whatever will happen we are ready to face it.
I can see that bitcoin is very bullish as of this moment but we should not expect that it will always stay in there. Bitcoin has a very high volatility so the current price is not really permanent as it will surely bound to change. We can say that the downtrend is over and we are now facing its journey to its new ATH but since price corrections always have its own way and its always inevitable, so its a good thing that we should be ready for it and take some other profitable measures if possible.
Whenever you do step your foot into this market then you should really be prepared on things or situations like this on where price could really be unpredictable. It could easily make out some switch up
neither from bullish to bearish and bearish to bullish in a short span of time which it cant really be predicted precisely if you do ask me.Everything would really be temporary and this is why profitability
on each trader will vary on how they do make out decisions whether getting out on the right time or buying or getting in on the right time even though it isnt on point but basing up with your
experience then you do at least know on what you would gonna do.
2454  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 13, 2021, 09:29:08 PM
Most probably the streamers are not allowed to join the wagering contest as they are for the actual players who normally plays on casino to make it fair as it's in the deal so they earn a lot from deal and views that they don't need contest prize pools.
I hope so too, and it would be very unfair to all the other players. With money/coins from a sponsorship, anyone can probably win such contests. But that's certainly not the point and would cause a lot of resentment among all legitimate players who have deposited their own money on the platform.
They are already paid to gamble and maybe to make it more realistic, they’ll try to participate though for sure they will not qualified to win because they are the streamers and their tasked is not to join that wagering contest but to attract more gamblers so there’s nothing to worry about this one. We the real players can all have the chance to win if you do participate, luck should be on our side.
You cant say such thing because there are some streamers or dealings that they could participate but of course you wouldnt able to get those winnings fully but rather only a small percentage out
of those winnings because it is just non sense if they do just let those sponsored ones to take advantage of the given chance or lead against other players. Some casinos would really let things
to happen to add up some spice into the gameplay or the competition because whenever people do see that huge money that had been poured on then interest would comes next.
2455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools and Indicators on: October 13, 2021, 08:55:40 PM
I use a few tools to help me with my trading. I normally keep BTC-D under the scope, while using Tradingview for the charts. I would like to hear what kind of tools and indicators you guys use to trade cryptos.

And how about trading technics. Is anyone kind enough to share?
Indicators ive been using.

1. EMA
2. MACD
3. Support and resistance
4. Fibonnaci
5. RSI

These are my common indicators that ive been using but when it comes to techniques or how things been done then its up on someones
own decision making because not all would really be having the same decisions when it comes into their trades.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: October 12, 2021, 11:15:40 PM
Sometimes we feel not good after paying a High Fee on ETH  Smiley But I want's to know why this?

I feel my emotions with this

The current ETH increase factor has an effect on high gas costs.  I wonder when ETH applies low fees and is not affected by price?  if it can really happen, maybe I think it will take a long time because ETH will continue to rise
Maybe we would be seeing the after effects of London fork but it seems that there wasnt really some significant change but lets see if it would be that something to effect on future years to come considering the burning effect is still on progress and it might affect that gas would come low.Its been a while that erc20 gas fees are way too high which it isnt really worth on
making small transactions because fees are way too high and not really that ideal to make through. So its a personal choice whether you do proceed or deal with it.
2457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportbook without KYC on: October 12, 2021, 10:08:44 PM
I have been searching for a sportsbook without KYC that have a fairly good reputation. And with fairly good I simply mean that they don't scam and steal you money.
[...]
I don't think if a gambling site that ask for a KYC is a scam, it will still depend on a project and you really have to do your own analysis before you start gambling.
It doesn't always mean to be totally scam, sometimes website/service randomly scam by different reasons and those users were totally dismayed despite of having good reviews or whatnot, that's why it's always good to use and provide your kyc docs to a reputed gambling website than to different gambling that has history of scamming some of its users.
Its hard when a certain bookie or site/service is just new and asking out directly that KYC which you couldnt tell if they are legit or not because when people do have some bad experiences then they will
surely shared it up publicly to create awareness and if a site tends out to scam on the first place then they wouldnt really make it too obvious on early phase thats why i dont really believe much
on such condition.KYC doesnt automatically means scam and this is usually can be found out on fiat bookies but most of bookies on this market doesnt really ask out.
I do play on Stake and Sporstbet.
2458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: October 12, 2021, 09:15:13 PM
76% of finance professionals believe that digital assets “will serve as a strong alternative to, or outright replacement for, fiat currencies in the next 5-10 years,” according to Deloitte’s annual global blockchain survey.

Is there any possibility that this could happen or this was just another speculation that is impossible to believe, but if we are going to look at the percentage of finance professionals that believe on the possible replacement of fiat with digital assets I think we are in 90% basis in favor of rival or replacement of fiat. Show me your comments about this news guys if you believe or not with this possible replacement?
I don't think so dude, fiat currencies are one of foundations of every country. And i also don't want any government of the world will get control of any cryptocurrencies in the future.
Quite ironic eh? Decentralized things shouldnt really be touched by government in the first place thats why it isnt surprising with these kind of decisions.I dont see any probability or chances that
fiat would be replaced with crypto. It could both exist but doesnt mean that there would chances of replacing one another.Government is always there and they wont let things to happen.
Its true that fiat currencies are one of the foundations of a country and its impossible for it to be replaced.
2459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: October 12, 2021, 08:08:45 PM
I Think it will be easy to use for everyone. Bitcoin is digital crypto. Already many companies accepted bitcoin and they invested also I Think it will be accepted all bossiness companies.I think people will their money convert to crypto in future.I Think it will be fine and beautiful and more interesting.
We are really heading there but dont anticipate that much because we dont know on what future holds and also we didnt still reach into the point that most businesses accept bitcoin.
This wont be a simple kind of decision because aside from legality issue but also with volatileness which is a major concern because as a business owner you wont really be
like to see your profits is declining but somehow it does have its pro's or chances too.So this decisions would really vary.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No one talks about Sic Bo!? on: October 12, 2021, 07:59:40 PM
To be honest, I haven't heard about this game before and I never thought that it's famous in some Eastern Asia countries. I've found out that it's also a simple dice game. I like playing dice games because of their simplicity but I would like to try Sic Bo but I guess I still have to do further research or watch videos about it first.

Sicbo is one of the real dice games out there. I say it real because the game uses real dice for the outcome, unlike most dice games where we see numbers between 00.00-99.99. It is fun dice game but unfortunately it has higher house edge and I prefer dice game which using numbers with lower house edge.
Aside for this thing isnt really that known or popular but also it has higher house edge then it is just normal that people would really be seeing this for not to be interesting but there are particular places
which do really love on playing this game but it isnt surprising that it isnt really that popular. Also this is my first time on hearing out this game and its no surprise that unknown games
on this market wouldnt really make any talks or mentions so dont expect that much.
