2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022: Bullish or bearish for crypto? on: January 22, 2022, 11:24:29 PM
With current market conditions, it's better to be patient and don't be in a hurry to make investment decisions,
I think for now follow the development first and hope the market can recover soon
Investing in good coins can still be done by anyone now and there is no need to wait long for it even though the market is not in a good condition during January this year, but if it can be better next month, then buy now Of course it will be very profitable.
I agree. The opportunity is already in front of us because we have seen that all coins are definitely in dips. And the fact that dips is happening, then its a good time to buy and hold. For now, i can say that the market is totally bearish but i guess it won't be the same in the next couple of months. Bullish season might also appear at the last quarter of the year so this year might be a season for both. So there' no need to fear even if the dips is getting deeper because it won't be forever like that.
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying during this dip? on: January 22, 2022, 07:53:20 PM
Preferably I would buy those coins that were already pumped and I was feeling left out of the cycle. Not every coin is dumped in the same proportion, Some are dumped more than the others and I would like to capitalise on this and buy coins like SHIBA to add to my portfolio that I have been looking to do from a very long time but wasn't able to find a good entry price, this dump might have just completely changed my situation.
If you think Shiba Inu will regain its value in the future, then you can put a good amount in it. But if i may suggest, this year might be different already when it comes to meme coins and what we have seen that are profitable before will never be the same again. And besides, investing in meme coins will always bring high risk. You better get focus on established coins as they have never been out of the trend, and prioritize investing in bitcoin and top altcoins. Although you can still invest in meme coins but only with a minimal amount.
2443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: January 22, 2022, 07:06:07 PM
The entire cryptocurrency market is on a blood bath level most cryptocurrency witness a higher percentage of price drop which have turned so many analysts to speculate the next stop price before the bull run, if you have been flowing up with recent price actions it show Bitcoin losing almost 7% of it price falling back to 38k and have been struggling to maintain that price level up till now.
Will the 30k price benchmark be the next bottom line before the rise?
after Bitcoin price managed to drop past $40k, I'm not sure Bitcoin will get past $30k...

Market dips do happen every year, but I see the $30k bitcoin price is no longer possible. Besides that, I also see that those who focus on campaigning to buy bitcoin on social media will work even harder, the market will definitely recover, and we can all sleep well again Cheesy
For me, there are still chances that bitcoin will definitely fall more and may end up below $30k. Because once we see bitcoin making a consistent fall, it becomes even more unpredictable so its hard to predict its bottom value from the current dip. But let's not be pessimistic because of the current events, bitcoin and altcoins may be experiencing a drastic fall but as long as there is high demand for them, they won't end up zero value. They will still recover from this latest dump and once positive news will fill in the market, i think they will start rising up again and continue to skyrocket.
2444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 22, 2022, 01:52:19 PM
I agree with you now is the right time to buy bitcoin or big alcoins like eth and binance, but I'm waiting for the price to go down I'm sure the lowest price is not today, definitely tomorrow or the day after tomorrow is the right time to buy bitcoin.
Looks like the dump is not over yet.

Bitcoin now is at $35k, and as bitcoin continues to struggle, we will see the cheap altcoins flashing with some heavy losses daily. It's not good for those weak hands but good for those who accumulate. From the current price, I think $20k + is just waiting and big altcoins dump cannot be prevented from happening.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 22, 2022, 01:28:36 PM

How about the Lakers, did anyone bet on them last night?

I didn't touch that game, I knew that the Lakers are too unpredictable and they won here after two consecutive losses I believe. Next game I'll be taking the Lakers, it's nice to back them after a win as sometimes they'll get some little win streak.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 21, 2022, 11:38:04 PM
the crypto market at the beginning of 2022 was down maybe because many people flocked to Nft and Metaverse so that the volume in crypto decreased but I think this is only because nft and metaverse are trending everywhere so many people want to get into in it,
Until now I still believe the altcoin market will rise again.
Of course, it will always have its own altcoin season. Although we have not met altcoins expectations last year, but i'm still positive that this year might be possible for it to achieve. Maybe last year was only intended for bitcoin, and this year hopefully for altcoins. But we won't be profitable when that time comes if we won't be able to invest at the current prices. Bitcoin and altcoins are definitely in a good buying value right now so we have to start buying while there is dip. And because buying low and selling high still works for most of us, i think this is the perfect time to start it and sell them when bull run comes.
2447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 21, 2022, 11:12:20 PM
Hi crew. Hope you are all well in new 2022. Good moment to buy btc or eth?
^ Definitely right it is now a moment to invest in crypto, everything was dropped in the market price and I think this is the right time.
But let me ask you, how much that you are willing to invest? Because we don't know when until this drop going on if you invested that you can afford of course you can wait for even the price drop further more. Right at this moment based on the coin market cap, BTC dropped 12% and ETH dropped 17% which is perfect timing to purchase again.
Indeed, this time is perfect to accumulate more potential coins. But if you have limited budget, yes its a good suggestion to wait for further price drops as we are quite sure that this bearish market won't easily recover. However, if you have that huge amount of funds, then try to buy in every dip. After  all, any coin that is lower when you bought and will sell at its peak, there are still good profits waiting ahead.  But i suggest, reserve for a higher allocation for bitcoin and maybe half of it goes for ethereum too as it never loses its demand despite of its high gas fee.
2448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 21, 2022, 09:43:46 PM
We can see right now that the Bitcoin market is hovering around 37610 dollar. I can't find the reason why Bitcoin is being dumped so much right now. But for some reason maybe Bitcoin has been dumping so much and there will be more.I think Bitcoin will break below 30k dollar and stay below it.
That will also be possible as bitcoin creates a consistent drop every hour so most likely, reaching below $30k is very possible.  But that won't mean that we should be fearful this time and ends up panic selling. Instead, look at the bright side of it, bearish season gives us good opportunity to start again and fill our portfolio with those cheap and high potential coins. If this market situation makes us more uncomfortable, well the fact is this won't take forever. So never miss a single opportunity this time.
2449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 20, 2022, 11:56:28 PM
Because there are so many crypto signal providers now, it's hard for me to pick the right one. Many of these crypto trading signal providers have a good record of giving out good signals, but some are only in it for the money. This is what you need to know about these people. So, which is the best source of crypto trading signals, and which one should you use to make money?
As with most things in life there are no shortcuts, you are trying to borrow the knowledge of someone else to make profits in the markets, saving yourself months or even years of study, do you really think that something that convenient really exists? Because it does not, if you want to become profitable in the markets then there is only one way to do so and that is by learning how to trade the markets by yourself, and if you cannot do it then you should accept to just hold your coins.
^ Definitely right, try to learn trading on your own and don't rely on others knowledge and the trading signal is not accurate on predicting the market, it could be possible that you are joining in the pump and dump group which is not good to join. However, making them as your reference is not a bad idea at all, but at least you are not relying on them. I agree that there is no shortcut to learning, it should be step by step, and if you lose then you have gained experience, still, you are on the good side.

Also, I don't agree with the OP that only some are in it for the money. The reality is, almost all of them are after for the money that they will get. Maybe not the subscription money but the money that they will rake if they give late or wrong signal. Because usually, these groups will give signal a lil bit delayed, so what the followers will do is to buy at high prices, where maybe, the signal group owners are selling. So do you what I mean here? For me, better learn on your own ways and not rely on these trading signal groups, whether paid or not, because it will be the reason why you will lose your funds.
If we don't want to get scammed and lose our funds, better stay away from those paid trading signal groups. After all, we are here to learn trading and make profits in the process, and not just giving away our funds to somebody else who can't even give us the advantage. For some, they be may be helpful but i know in the long run, our losses earned is even bigger than the profits we made. So its very useless to entrust our trading into them since they are just making it for their own advantage, and not literally for our own sake.
2450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year on: January 20, 2022, 09:36:48 PM
Yes, at the beginning of the year the cryptocurrency situation is a bit miserable. This is because at the beginning of the year, the price of all the coins in the cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, is a little lower. There is no reason to be discouraged because it is miserable every year at the beginning of the year. Later, the market's momentum picked up again.

Cryptocurrency is going to pass two weeks so far this year but still no positive is found. I think it could be even longer. In other words, it will take some time for the market to get better.
Any one who has been in the crypto space for a long time should understand this and not see it as a problem, because it has continued to happen almost every year. I don't think anyone should panic over this because bitcoin has proved itself formidable over time. The current situation of market is indecisive. It means market will become bullish at any moment because there is no impacting negative news are around and in all such situations bitcoin market is known for becoming bullish hence this time may not be an exception for sure.
Of course, bitcoin will always end up being bullish, but i am seeing it more like bearish these days as its price never even breaks the resistance level of $45k and its price just staying around $41k-$42k in these past days. As well as with altcoins who are only depending their price moves on bitcoin. And this is not new really as its always been the case at the start of the year. But i have still high hopes that bitcoin will still be bullish before this year ends and will end up having its new ATH.
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 20, 2022, 01:10:24 PM
We have a few games tomorrow, 3 to be exact but as usual, I'm only choosing 1 game.

I choose the Mavericks vs Suns, and I love the home team here as they already won 3 times in a row in their home court.
Therefore my pick is Dallas Moneyline.

Ayton may not be available too, so it's a big advantage for the Dallas Mavericks.
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 19, 2022, 04:44:53 AM
You got some point on here but I don't see for it to be a solid reason on why Pacquiao lost that fight but we couldn't really deny that Ugas is really good.
The fact that he retired already, that tells that he understand he could not keep up with the young champions, and he accepted that.
Ugas is so honored he beat the legend, so going forward, that will give him more confidence to beat anyone who would challenge him.

If he do able to beat up Pacquiao then Ugas could really give a good damn fight with Spence but Im not really shocked that people instead looking way too low on Ugas.
Lets see on how he would settle things up.
If Pacman did not make an excuse on his loss, then maybe people would believe that Ugas is really strong and could beat Spence. There are still some who believes on him, don't worry about that, however, you can't blame the majority to believe that Spence will win, that's normal.

2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 17, 2022, 09:34:09 PM
If in case, this will be another upset. That would be a terrible one for Spence Jr.
But in this fight, Spence Jr has a lot of advantages over Ugas.
This is why we are seeing that people are favoring Spence Jr over Ugas.
I believe even bookies will favor Spence here once they release the odds.
But would be interesting to watch as they fight for these unification belts.

Looking forward to that upset honestly Smiley I mean, what will be the reaction of the boxing community if Ugas will able to upset the heavy favorite Spence Jr.  It's a news that mostly won't be expected by anyone knowing Ugas is considered as a bonus round for Spence.

But the fact that Ugas defeated Pacquiao, I really considered it as a good achievement and not taking the reason that Pacquiao is already old. It's a bullsh*t reason for me that Ugas got that win because of that reason.

It will send another shockwave in the boxing community and in this division as everyone is jockeying for the position as the top dog. So if Ugas wins then definitely, he should be recognized as one of the best and he only have Crawford to defeat to claim the title of being the top 1 in the division.

Although Thurman is coming back, he doesn't have any belt so no bargaining power for him. He could fight Ugas but he should be the B-side then.

That will probably put Ugas at the top 1 as he will be holding multiple bet if he wins this fight. Crawford on the other hand would be happy as he only has to fight one fighter and will become a unified champion. Thurman is also willing to challenge the champion if he wins in his upcoming fight, so if Ugas will win here, he has a lot of option to fight with.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 17, 2022, 09:08:14 PM
I just don't know what's in the mind of Casimero as he is now focusing on his youtube vlog instead of his career. I hope that this is just for fun to him to be able to enjoy while there's no word yet from Probellum.

Casimero, i think needs to have a PR manager to represent him and screen out the words that needs to be released to the press, not raw where there are some misunderstandings that causes chaos and could damage his boxing career.
Is he focused in vlogging right now? Maybe he can manage his time well and he's got schedules to follow. There's no actual schedule yet for his match, right?
And as well as he's still in recovery that's why he's just doing what he can do. On his case, since vlogging doesn't really require physical contact, he's good to do it at any time that he wishes.

He can do some youtube videos like that will not distract his training or recovery, he has been doing that before so I think there's no problem with that. I think it's one way of reaching his fans to gain more support, so it's helpful to his career as a boxer. Though he is a trash-talking champion he still has plenty of followers and being a vlogger, he was able to give an update about himself.
Yeah, he's been with it for a long time and that's no problem to him. It's not even going to distract him as he can do those videos within a few minutes or hours and get back on track for his trainings.
I don't really see it as a problem to him unlike the others that think it's vital for him and shouldn't enjoy things like making YouTube videos.

There's no problem in making a youtube vlog as long as he is doing it in his free time and don't forget that he is a boxer that needs to train.

Yeah, he is enjoying vlogging and at the same time earn some money doing it.

My point on bringing this vlogging thing is that he seems to be occupied and stays in the Philippines until now, he is supposed to be in the US training while waiting for the Probellum announcement for his fight with Butler.

Butler is not so much of a threat to him because we all know the capability of Casimero. The real opponent for him this time is his self. The time when he split with Memo Heredia, he seems to hardly make the weight and that Dubai incident was a result of the absent of a professional nutritionist, IMO.

I guess the promoter will not make the fight happen right away, once they'll announce, they will give the boxers an ample time to train, so it's not a big deal because there's no announcement as to when the fight will happen yet, he can train in the Philippines and once announcement is made then he can just fly to the US.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will there be Metaverse regulations on Gambling on: January 17, 2022, 08:10:44 PM
Regulation is the main key for metaverse to succeed as that says the government is supporting them. The government could ban it or regulate it, but we like to see a positive development of metaverse concepts so it should be regulated. I can't imagine how to gamble in the metaverse as I have not used the platform yet, but if it can improve the experience without risking our privacy, then that is a good thing.
2457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Forecast by Goldman Sachs on: January 17, 2022, 07:33:59 PM
Goldman Sachs predicted that Bitcoin could reach $100k in 2022 if it continues to overtake gold’s market share.

Approximately 2 percent of gold’s market cap ($700 billion) is held by the public. Goldman estimates that the public holds about $2.6 trillion in gold as an investment."
I definitely think that Goldman Sachs have been quite bullish on bitcoin for a long time. It is not a new story and they have been promoting it for a long time as well. It is quite obvious that they "want to" see it at 100k and that is why they are making speeches like that. Plus, they probably have some money in bitcoin and considering it is not their money and instead their investors money that means they also have to make public posts like this as well.

So all in all, I am definitely sure that they do believe what they are saying but also even if they didn't then they had to still say these things which makes their own words not credible enough at all.
I think bitcoin being to replace gold in the future is very possible as its now starting to prove to the people that there is more profits in bitcoin than in gold, and that bitcoin holds the highest store of value. When it comes to bitcoin reaching the price of $100k, many have been predicting it already so there is nothing new about it. Besides, it has started already in 2021 but things didn't work out well so maybe this year there will be chances for it to happen. We'll just wait and see.

for most young gen, they may indeed go into btc or crypto rather than gold when it comes to possible investments. but gold is gold and they have other usage outside the investments area. but anyway, when it comes to predictions, we will hear or read again a lot of this as we start another year. it is up to you how you will react on such speculations. at the end of the day, no matter how bullish people are, you are still the one who is responsible with your funds. and you should be smart on handling your funds because they won't care if you lose it or not.
This is not surprising as young generation are more risk takers and love to explore what's new to their eyes. Unlike the old ones, they prefer to stick with gold as its definitely the most old investment that even our own ancestors had been investing it already. But when it comes to profits, it no doubt that bitcoin overcomes gold. However, with bitcoin's predicting to reach $100k, i know it will be achieve once the market becomes stable again. But certainly not this time as the market is still heading into a bearish one.
2458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 17, 2022, 07:08:56 PM
Do you have any favorite superstitions when trading crypto
like for example if you get off the bed on the right side of the bed, your coins won't dump
wearing this color shirt keeps your portfolio in the green

I don't trust something like that but sometimes i'm more confident to trade with my laptop, i have a PC and a mobile which able to trade also but i'm more confident to trade with my laptop. I think it's not really a superstitions but just to make me like more confy to trade and reduce the mistakes chance.
These magical things won't work in crypto market because the ghosts are on digital yet  Cheesy
Even myself, i don't have something like that. Maybe in gambling, but not when it comes to trading. I just put my trust on myself that i can really do it. Although we cannot assure to make all our trading become successful and profitable, but as long as we have good strategies that will suit to us and we are aware when to trade or not, i think that will make one's trade not to fall in losses. And you are trading with established coins and not those shitcoins, then most likely you will have a good outcome from trading.
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 17, 2022, 11:25:28 AM
game: Pistons vs Phoenix

I will trust the Phoenix to win on the road again.

They beat the Pacers (W 112 - 94) on their last game, and I think Pistons is just like the Pacers, or even worst, so I expecf the same result.

My pick : Phoenix -12.

Congrats mate, spread was indeed big but they covered it and dominate the Detroit Pistons. The result was 135-108 in our favor.
As expected they didn't had a hard time and certainly that wasn't tough one beating the Pistons, congrats again! Now the Suns are standing tall in the league with an almost .800 win percentage.

I also have the same bet with you mate, -11.5 for me. I said it might be difficult for the Suns to cover but in the end they can really do it and that's what happen here, even if they played on the Pistons homecourt, their competitiveness is very high specially Booker. It's also a high scoring game which really gives the Suns the advantage because this is their type of play.

So congrats to everyone who won in this game.

Nice one, I see some happy bettors here.  Smiley

Let's start betting for the upcoming games.
Game: Jazz vs Lakers.

I know that the Jazz are going to play a back to back game but they are hungry for a win, so I think they can beat the struggling Lakers who lost to the Nuggets by a very huge margin.  I don't want to overthink it, I will stick with my instinct and bet on the Jazz on the road.

My pick: Jazz -5.5
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 17, 2022, 10:46:55 AM
Well, Magsayo is the challenger, he should be the aggressive, he cannot win if he cannot convince the judges but the better way to convince them is to KO Rusell, that's hard to do but it's possible if he study his opponent and train hard for this fight.

Judges would always favor the champion if the challenger is not aggressive enough unless it's pretty obvious that he boxes out the champion which we only see in rare cases. Since Magsayo is a knockout puncher, I expect a knockout in this fight, hopefully the champion will be the recipient of the KO punch.

I'm also expecting a KnockOut win, of course by our own Magsayo but Gary Russell is a tough one. We might see Magsayo dominating his previous opponents with that speed and power but those opponents are nowhere to the skills of the champion, Gary Russell. That will be the first time for Magsayo to face a dominant opponent in his career so everything will be new to him.

Just stay humble though. I like Magsayo's being optimistic but he should just show that on the ring, not via statement or speech.

Filipinos are not good in speech, lol.. They are good in the ring because actions speaks louder for them. I will root for him no matter how underdog he is, I know there's a value of my money on that odds and I don't mind losing also, that's a way to support, risk some money for the one you are leaning with.

I think it's about the language barrier though, it's not only Filipinos, but there are a lot like Mexico and Puerto Rican boxers and some European boxers who have difficulty expressing themselves.

Nevertheless it is not a barrier, like Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez and Loma (both who improved their English proficiency already).

Hopefully Mark would go to his hardship but it will not deter him to be a good boxer in the future.

If he can't express himself fully, he can use an interpreter to do the job, I think it's very important that every boxer would be able to express himself especially after a win as that's the best way to gain fans around the globe. Magsayo is very promising, if he wins this fight, the world will recognize him because he is a champion.
