2441  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 18, 2022, 01:12:24 PM
I think only giants have the ability to invest in gold or silver, it can't be denied that gold and silver is a traditional investment that is always profitable, even gold and silver is a measure of anyone's wealth, but investment is of course very difficult to profit, and at this time I will choose crypto over gold or silver.
Giants? I believe you mean rich people, kinda left out that detail in the translation? Huh

Even middle-class people can buy gold and silver and they often do, because they are looking for safer and time tested investments for their hard earned money. Their priority is safety and easy liquidity in markets.

Crypto should be kept narrowed down to bitcoin if you are investing and looking for a long term profit not some short term gamble. With the current price dropping back to 39k levels, I think it is a good time to buy when a even steeper downward trend starts.
2442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc price moving too much on: April 18, 2022, 01:07:05 PM
There is no need for jobs traders will accept goverment funding binance and btc thats enough so we can earn fee 2000-5000$ at least monthly.
What sort of a suggestion is that? Trading is not a daily earning job where you get a fixed amount per month but a speculative game of risk vs reward. Binance has nothing to do with their government, it is a private company. Also governments dont patronize companies like that, it makes them look bad and it brings in unwanted flak from other companies doing the same.

Do show us proof of why you think government is funding binance or will fund it. Or maybe its just another one of your conspiracy theories.

Goverment need to step in and support our losees also i hope they do btc stable
You need to stop typing threads when high on cheap weed mate.

Governments have no role in your losses. You may have bought at higher price and today price might be lower than that. It is completely on you but you can recover it if you give it time. These knee-jerk responses should be controlled.
2443  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is a puzzle ! on: April 16, 2022, 11:12:15 AM
Main parts of this puzzle are study, proper job , marriage, smart housing move and retirement plan! We shall Live like economist and study each step economically.
Life is a tour, not a guided tour.

Sometimes you will make mistakes but that does not mean life ends there, it goes on. You will not be able to live like an economist every day and that is completely normal, being strict with perfection only brings in mental distress. Investments and trading also work the same way. You may or may not profit from them, but the learning experience will give you more insight into how it must be done.

Dont think too much about retirement is what I choose to do. Consider retirement to happen on its own and one should attempt to make the most of their time right now in order to be able to lead a happy life.
2444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losing in trading needs questioning on: April 16, 2022, 11:08:46 AM
Research on the analysis itself is indeed needed, where we have to correct every transaction, not only when we experience losses, over time we will understand the movement of market reactions so that we can determine more accurate targets and if necessary place a good stop loss. indeed this cannot be done in a short time, we will meet various problems which actually make us smarter in responding to the market, open the other way around
Research on the analysis does not make sense, you are doing research to set up the analysis of the market. You can only order a transaction not correct them once they are executed.

Of course you can learn from such mistakes if they happen. In short run, you might be making more losses or some get stuck in price movements that cannot seem to end. The key here is to keep patience and observe how the market moves and then place the opposite order.

It takes time to be able to profit from the market. Start with dummy trading and stay fixed on it for some months before starting real time trading again.
2445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? on: April 16, 2022, 10:52:41 AM
What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? Cuz if it merges, then the price of Bitcoin would pass $100,000? The market cap would be at $3 trillion dollars but what will the price be for 1 coin?
The price for 1BTC is always 1BTC. It only depends on how much someone is selling 1BTC at for a certain fiat value.

Altcoins exist to prove the difference of opinion among people, they are not agreeing on everything that bitcoin has to offer but they want their own coin to fill the gaps. Therefore altcoins exist.

What you say, like merging them all, is technically and ideologically not possible, but their combined fiat value can be calculated. Such changes would not be occurring all of a sudden either.
2446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for crypto trading on: April 16, 2022, 10:42:42 AM
You can't always win from the market just by following the strategy. In this case, sometimes I try to waif for a fixed price before trading any coin. If I think I have saved on my purchase then I can easily make good profit from it and i believe that it is best common strategy for every investors especially those who are new they can also make good profit but they have the ability to analyze what can be the expected price.
Going slow with purchases and keeping tabs on the prices surely does pay off. One cannot always expect a profit but by buying low and selling high they can keep their position profitable in the long run without running out of capital.

This is by far the safest strategy, the downfall is that it is time consuming and will not give you instant returns or huge returns in short time. That may be applicable to day trading - it is a complete risk vs reward game here.

New investors need to hold their horses. Without a proper mind setup that they have to keep patience and buy at the proper time, no one will be profitable from day one.
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: April 16, 2022, 10:33:06 AM
You are right, buying Bitcoin is better than mining because it will stress the miners due to the facilities which are involved to actualize it, some one who have the capital to buy bitcoins i will advice the person to buy instead of mining because i know that mining of Bitcoin requires many things, like electricity
Not just electricity but the location, equipment, cooling, manpower and maintenance are all involved in this. While some farms might be ready with all this, most are not and it is not a piece of cake to set up such a system from scratch. Also the fact that the current miners are at hash-wars, as to who can generate the maximum hashpower and get the maximum rewards, it becomes a tough market to get into.

Buying bitcoin is always better than mining it if you are new to the market. Have a mining setup all ready to go? Then only think about mining to earn, otherwise you will mining to lose.

2448  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 15, 2022, 07:43:34 AM
When you talk about crypto precisely Bitcoin , Between Gold and Bitcoin I will choose Bitcoin 10 times over gold. Reason is Bitcoin has out performed Gold for the past ten years now, Almost in all aspects listed below.

With above reasons , some people sees Bitcoin as digital Gold.
So why not invest in both? Cool

With money at hand you have to make these decisions based on not only own knowledge but from past charts too. Bitcoin is not easily tradeable in every country yet but gold and other previous metals are. For the time being, it is a good investment, for considering the average life expectancy of the members of this forum, bitcoin will take time to become that popular so as to be called "digital gold" in the real sense and not just a buzzword used by some firms.

If we already have millions of dollars, of course we will choose a very safe investment, namely gold, such as data from every year that gold always rises even though it is never more than 20% per year, and for me crypto is a good opportunity to develop money so I make crypto as an option first investment.
Bitcoin average yearly volatility is <15%. And crypto should mean only bitcoin, because altcoins are not compare-able to it and compared to them gold is a better option in several terms.
2449  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and investment on: April 15, 2022, 07:38:18 AM
A 10% of monthly income is the max I would invest. But this depends completely on market prices of the assets I am going to invest in. One month might end up being a complete dry month and another one where I have to stretch it to 20-30% of income because I am getting assets at prices I could only dream of. But this is a regular and continuous game, you need to keep tabs and not allocate a fixed amount but a variable amount every month.

Dont focus only on crypto, there are fiat based markets in every country, namely stocks, bonds and metals. You need to keep tabs on those too. Dont forget that at time when crisis occurs in one sector, the other sectors will back your portfolio up. There will be times when crypto volatility willhit your mental stability hard, at such times, knowing that you have profit at hand from others will give you the boost you need.

This becomes specially important in the long term game.
2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to have the same effect on alts? on: April 15, 2022, 07:30:25 AM
Let's hear some expert opinions.
Experts dont come to forums like these. Roll Eyes

Quote
What do y'all think?
I guess that contradicts the previous line from your side. Grin

Will BTC price movement continue to have the same effect on alts price in like 10 years? 20 years maybe?
Altcoins have existed since bitcoin came in, they have been a collective against a one man army of bitcoin. The reason why altcoins rose to a significant portion of the market share is a difference in public opinion and use cases. This is the example of democracy in the crypto sector, everyone is free to choose what they use.

Since majority of altcoins are bought and sold with bitcoin, it tends to influence the price. Trading them against fiat is still not that convenient, although attempts have been made to incorporate the same into merchants. So in my opinion, unless a new coin becomes something even more useful than what bitcoin has been, it will continue to have an effect on altcoin prices.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 14, 2022, 01:43:56 PM
Bounties used to be a good way of making extra money but there are too many scam projects using bounty hunters for their own advantage now, do not take bounties very serious unless there is a very good project in the space that decides to use bounty hunters for awareness, you can also choose from lists of escrowed bounty campaigns, brain boss, julerz12 and bounty star do use escrow payment at times.
The point of escrow in the bounty campaigns was to prevent scams in the first place. So what happened is that legit bounty project coming to these reputable managers did work out nicely. Scam bounty projects got rejected by these managers so some less reputed and less known managers took them eventually they would not escrow the money because then the scam project owners would break the deal.

This leads to the propagation of scam bounties, because some manager (or wannabe) out there will eventually pick it up and agree to no escrow because they want work.

Ultimate end result remains same, work with reputable managers, you get some good rewards. But that time is better spent on going with bitcoin paying campaigns. Thus the gradual decline in enthusiasm in bounties, even though that section exists with its own share of cesspool.
2452  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashnest is a scammer now on: April 14, 2022, 01:35:12 PM
Hashnest was formed by Bitmain but they sold them.
This should have been an immediate red flag, but I am sure even after realising this investors could do nothing to salvage the rest of the assets spent on mining contracts there.

Cloud mining sites are always going to scam its investors, this is a fact and this should be understood by every user here. Whether someone supports them or not, is a personal choice, does not mean that the project is going to turn legit.

Quote
Is there any way to force them to pay back the money they took from us?
If the people behind the scam can be identified. But let me remind you that this is not the first cloud mining scam and very few have actually been caught in real after extensive legal work.

Be careful of fake people trying to collect money in the name of legal proceedings for this scam - they might themselves be scamming you. Only do this if the group is known to you in real life. This type of "scamming the scammed person" scam has also been common among the victims of cloud mining scams.
2453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: April 14, 2022, 01:25:57 PM
Actually magazine , journals, newspapers and television, YouTube video give you various knowledge about cryptocurrencies trading but skills development fully depends on your hardworking and ability to take . guide about beginners and fresher in cryptocurrencies trading in various YouTube and television show gives you how can trade without risk. You can participate different telegram channels where you can get trading tips and tricks.
Youtube channels need to be screened first before consuming their content. Most of it is laced with shitcoin shilling and manipulation that can harm the capital of a newbie investor. Only a person who does not have any conflict of interest can guide a newbie in learning them.

Also how many mags or newspapers are teaching about crypto? Close to none, so that suggestion does not make sense. Please do let me know if you know any.

Telegram channels are also filled with pump and dump more than actual information or research on new/old projects. In reality nobody wants to share these stats because they are doing their own earning here.
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: April 12, 2022, 04:47:25 PM
As a lover of Bitcoin how do you spread Bitcoin, i mean how do you tell people about Bitcoin and it's adoptions?
You dont, you wait for them to ask, after having randomly mentioned that you know about it but not explained to them, how.

Quote
To me i have held many discussions with friends in college with me, sometimes teaching them blockchain, the future of Bitcoin and why we should buy and hold Bitcoin, how the world will be in 5 years to 10 years to come. With this little meetings i have been able to share with my friends and also spread bitcoin to mates in college and i know they will do the same and if everyone does the same tell me what will be of Bitcoin today. So let us support Bitcoin max Adoption by telling people arounds us, bitcoin remains the future of money.
The more you try to grow bitcoin as a cult, the less attraction it will have among common people. You will end up being a laughing stock in your peer group, like a tinfoil hat guy, which I would not want to see happen to a fellow member of this forum.

If you are being like a Messiah, you will not gain followership, because people eventually will think that you have some ulterior motive of your own and added to it the number of scams that happened with crypto, people will digest only those topics and give you the scorn.

Rather keep it secret for now and allow them to understand the use of bitcoin. Unless they find the use and want to use it, they would never get the impetus to get into crypto. This needs some backing from the merchants and the government, which will happen in due course.
2455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 12, 2022, 04:39:16 PM
After running several bounty campaigns I have noticed that they only attrach bot accounts, multiple fake accounts controlled by one person or low quality accounts that can not even give adequate comments - it is not the same as it used to be back in the days in 2018. Where has all the quality crowd gone?
Most of them either got disinterested after farming an account by low-quality posting became useless after the merit system was introduced, is what I assume to be correct.

Previously multiple accounts used to plague the bounties and bitcoin signature campaigns. Many of them were caught and tagged with negative trust to disqualify them from current and future campaigns. Additionally due to the altcoin tokens becoming worthless and majority turning with non-payment or vanishing into thin air and so on, the few honest bounty hunters who were there also started losing interest and grew frustrated at the current set of affairs.

The quality crowd was therefore gradually moved to bitcoin paying campaigns.
2456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losing in trading needs questioning on: April 12, 2022, 04:35:41 PM
Losing of funds in every trading is not funny at all, traders who lose funds in every trading need to go back the drawing board to know what's really the cost. It could be lack of some idea in trading, such person needs someone who can give him good direction. We are know trading is about lose and gain but when it turns out to be lose always is not trading
Not every loss needs to be dragged back to the board per se. In spot trading you have an asset at hand, maybe they made a mistake of buying an asset that went down in price. Then they just need to wait it out till they break even or in profit to sell. In futures and margin, they are literally gambling with their money, here the money can end up in zero value in short times and there is nothing to complain because it is not spot trading.

Weather a "drawing board" is really needed for such action, I am doubtful about it. Possible that one needs to rethink their decisions but traders need to learn from the experience to avoid making such decisions. This could be helped by writing down your state of mind and logic behind the action taken during the trade.
2457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An advice for newbies and plebs on: April 12, 2022, 04:29:59 PM
I think you are right, most people who invested around 2017 are the ones who have really made alot in crypto, ever since then the market have always been bull and bear, so it better you save up your cash and wait for the next Coming opportunities in the nearest future.
We can say the same for every year, the point being that the ones who bought at lower price will be in a profit if they have not sold yet. I think what people should be careful of beyond buying at low prices, is not to spend the cash at hand on shitcoins, which is a common habit among newbies that I have seen. The only coin worth putting money in the long term is bitcoin because it has been time and stress tested across a decade while shitcoins have been here for a short period yet to earn the trust of the bigger crypto community.

You are right about incoming opportunities though, they need to be seized and those who dont will just have to wait till it appears again, not feel bad about it.
2458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: April 12, 2022, 04:23:09 PM
In the crypto space no condition is permanent, get ready for both sides because they are inevitable.
It is a cyclical process and not a straight line, this is one the basic things one should know before getting into the market. All the bull and bear happens because of this cycle and the cycle is also the reason why the problem of FOMO and FUD occurs.

One way to deal with this is placing orders on both sides. Since the market is live 24*7*365 therefore keeping an order open allows you to cover the times when you sleep. But for that you need capital on both sides too. In the initial phase this might not be possible.

To be honest, any speculative market works in the same manner, one who has experience in them will not find this difficult to follow.
2459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which is the best platform to get clients as a web designer? on: April 12, 2022, 03:45:19 PM
I think that wherever you post your work/services, you might need to initially build a pretty large user base or following. That might be the first step, since an unknown or new user might just get looked over, or lost in the large amount of activity. Some people mentioned Fiverr and it is a good option since it is a competitive area, and people can find you easily, instead of the other way around.
Offering work for free is one of the few methods that some users have done previously. They might offer it for free on first order and then charge form the next order onward. It takes time to build your own userbase and nothing in this world comes without toil and hardwork. In the meantime one can keep improving and learning new skills in their field, in this case web designing.

Freelancing sites are one of the few places where every user gets a chance but it is a tough market to get into and building a reputation there will take time. Instead starting on a forum might give better chances because not everyone here is a designer, but there are many lurking.
2460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Be Under Pressure To act (Altcoin) on: April 11, 2022, 06:21:09 PM
Very market movement comes with a correction and most time market go side ways just to correct if an investor is not careful you will make a mistake quick sell-off which can impact your holding. But in all I will say one should have a steel hand to hold no matter the market situation.
You can observe this if you are watching the market movements everyday. The big movements usually start of suddenly during a rather quiet portion and then the small fries start following it eventually making that a prolonged movement. This usually follows either sideways movements or a corrective movement, with gradual same direction movements occurring at times.

Quick sell-off can be profited if they buy back at even lower prices. These backup techniques should be kept in mind while trading. Buying low and selling high does not mean that the order of the two have to be followed, you can sell at high and then buy at low too.

After all, being able to hold through thick and thin pays off in the long run, so either way, you need to be patient, not pressured.
