2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 13, 2023, 08:47:23 PM
Have you ever seen a online casino website that displays, No kYC requirements or KYC requirement for **** amount of withdrawal before?
These kind of KYC triggers were common with the exchanges and am surprised that this has come to gambling which really looks like a term that can be used to scam it's customers when they try to withdraw their funds when the time comes to get funds out and am hoping it doesn't end at denials of these requests.

And why won't any online casinos do something like this? I believe this is suppose to boost users and players confidence when they are about to try out new gambling platforms for the first time.

I believe this is still affecting online gambling platforms because this is one of the most common issues that online gamblers are still facing.
The fact that you can't chargeback when it comes to crypto, any KYC regardless of amount really paints a bad picture and derails the trust in these services, honestly if its KYC they want they better say it from the on set not having it partly!

I wonder which casino has such terms, hope they aren't popular too..
2442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: March 13, 2023, 06:58:23 PM
Like the title says, this year 2023, are you bullish or bearish on bitcoin and why? I would love to hear why.
I think the year 2022 ended on a very bearish trend and knowing the mechanics of the market moves up and down like a wave, a pullback or new high is on the card's which means we should see price getting bullish especially in the second half of the year(2023) as bitcoin price will be discounted for many to buy it low.

I personally believe this is a bear market rally or something similar.  Kiss Kiss Kiss Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I think we hit the low and price needs needs to bounce back up... Think of it like a bouncing ball which was thrown up and has lost momentum and needs to be picked up and thrown up to keep the ball bounce again.
2443  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase to Suspend Binance USD (BUSD) Trading on: March 13, 2023, 03:18:21 PM
Also, CZ should start asking for assistance from his backers from China.
Because you mentioned China here,is it possible that what Binance is experiencing is some government stretching it's invisible handle to try and send a message to its other counterpart... Something we have seen in the Huawei China trade war.

And of all exchanges why are other exchanges delisting Binance assets when they too have their utility tokens listed on other exchanges, and btw Coinbase isn't the first to do this either, there is a long list of exchanges delisting them.
2444  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which element of cryptocurrency do you think is tough to understand? on: March 13, 2023, 02:39:42 PM
Hope this question is being answered correctly but I think the toughest thing to understand about crypto is the technical side of it which many don't even dare to dive into...

They know nothing about it or may be have little knowledge about it. So for them what is the most difficult part to understand or why they are not getting into it ?
I also believe that the fiat system of it being centralised has made it difficult for people to really venture into crypto because they don't see a familiar setup of Bitcoin being centralised and the prefer to watch from the side lines....not knowing BTC means financial freedom for them.

The most difficult thing to understand in cryptocurrency is volatility or price fluctuation.
I think price fluctuations and volatility boarder around crypto being decentralized and the whales free to manipulate price in a way they do control price.
2445  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top 9 Trusted bounty campaign manager. on: March 13, 2023, 01:49:37 PM
I agree with the OP, these are good at what they do and am fortunate enough to have had an opportunity to might have worked with all of the listed in the OP and hoping to work with the remaining lot,and out of curiosity how did you arrive at this list, what factors or parameters did you use and have you been part of all these guys campaigns???

Sorry, but I see this thread just as attempt to hunt merits.
My thoughts too, and looking at the names clearly these were cherry picked to get some sympathy merits  Roll Eyes

Hope other upcoming managers aren't demoralized by this...
2446  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: March 13, 2023, 11:15:36 AM
With this Russia Ukraine war which the effect is felt in almost all parts of the world directly and indirectly,
Affecting all of us is truly the sad part about this which is  also a selfish move by the engager and it's allies for fueling this war which is something I would never have thought would happen in the 21st century and beyond...

I want to ask are there beneficiaries to this war and in what ways are they benefiting from it.
As much as war is bad, this could have seen some benefiting in terms of fetching higher prices for some of the materials needed in this war like bullets ( technically making copper prices go up) , oil prices per barrel has equally gone up making any suppliers more richer and all this seems calculated to make this all artificial manipulation.

I guess other benefits the war has brought is opening up new markets for trade in commodities that cannot be supplied by either Russia or Ukraine as they are preoccupied with the war.
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when your identity is stolen -- real story || Avoid CEXs! on: March 13, 2023, 01:03:51 AM
This is one hell of a nightmare, wouldn't be surprised if he quit his driving job  with all the humiliation he keeps getting Sad But why didn't he use his lawyers to sue these convicts for identity theft and all trumour suffered because of  their actions..?

Btw if I were him, would have gone with changing identity, the damage is to much Cry

Quote
All those using centralized exchanges must be aware that at any time the exchange can be hacked and risk not just their funds but also face the risk that hackers steal also their personal information and use it against them.
The digital world is a whole different place which needs everyone of us taking extra precautions to protect our data, btw in such scenarios, does the exchange protect itself from being sued for misuse of data or failure to secure this data using its terms and conditions ?? ***Kind of reminds me of Facebook***

2448  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you know what is hiding behind Centralized exchanges User Agreement? on: March 12, 2023, 09:33:38 PM
With such scary terms from these big name's of the crypto exchange industry, am hoping there will come a time when decentralized exchanges will take centre stage again to avoid these unfair term's !
And unfortunately nobody can challenge them with these predatory terms that help give them unfair advantage over individuals small coin holdings...and sad news is they are going nowhere for now as they have the liquidity to support most coins for trading purposes.

2449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 12, 2023, 09:11:26 PM
according to the english newspaper 'the independent' real madrid wants to sign the two world stars Erling Haaland (man city) and Jude Bellingham (borussia dortmund) and reunite the former dortmund pair from next season onwards

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/erling-haaland-real-madrid-man-city-jude-bellingham-b2297384.html
I don't know about Jude Bellingham, but Erling Haaland has been linked to Real Madrid for the longest time but should this happen..then this might mean losing out on another big name >>>Mbappe who happens to be another player linked to moving to Real Madrid....But we all know how these news outlets love to drive traffic to their platforms using fake news, for now am buying non of it!

Oh and that reminds me should Manchester City be relegated or points deducted because of their financial blah blah blah they might potentially lose a few big name's as these guys want trophies to their names and this includes Haaland but of course we keeping our ears to the ground.

According to various sources and media rumors, Chelsea would like to sign Frenkie de Jong for next season.
Frenkie de Jong is one stubborn lad and I think his affraid of moving to England and be reduced to an average player  Tongue

And what's with Chelsea and going after United's potential target's... their scouts are really sneaky with these moves, not cool at all!

2450  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: March 12, 2023, 06:54:30 PM
right now I see the price of bitcoin on an exchange which is 21750, and has decreased by approximately 6% and I want to ask everyone,
is it possible that bitcoin will return to the price of 19000?
We can not rule out this possibility out, and the fact that for bitcoin to gain momentum like any other asset...the mechanics require that it sells to buy to generate liquidity which will act as the fuel to help price break any barriers keeping it this low!

So this will happen in such a way that all sell stops or buy limits at 19k will be wiped clean leaving price with the momentum to go up, lets watch this space.

or after this decline bitcoin will go back up higher ,,,?
like clockwork , same old tricks just a different day Cool

and also I want to know what caused the bitcoin price to drop drastically?
For me I would say that price action went as expected and any trader will tell you the bearish move was foreseen, in some circles they clain NFP contributed to the current price we seeing.
2451  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please tag this scammer and have a warning flag on: March 12, 2023, 12:53:26 AM
Scamming right in plain site and seeing this just shows how heartless people can be, and this being an obvious scam need not to have warning flags but nuked and post history wiped out to prevent anybody from interacting with such dubious software.

2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to surprise a friend on: March 12, 2023, 12:42:42 AM
Is Bitcoin a perfect birthday present for a 25 years old college student?
Birthday gifts are pretty much centered around the thought that goes into them and not what the actual present is but one thing is for sure, if your friend is tech savvy and knows bitcoin they will be sure happy.

Btw giving your buddy some btc as a present is as good as giving them fiat which is common for adults that don't have the time to go hunting for a present.

I want to surprise a friend, he is facing a lot of challenges due to his studies and he likes Bitcoin but can't afford investing money because of his studies since he is sponsoring himself, we've been together since 2011 and his birthday is on 27th of this month, do you think 0.03BTC is a cool present 🎁 for a birthday.

Would you love to accept Bitcoin as a Birthday Gift?
Any amount will certainly be appreciated, and the fact that you go way back his definitely going to appreciate you not forgetting it in the first place, good luck hope it goes well for you guys.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 11, 2023, 07:17:59 PM
And another disappointment for Liverpool with a 1-0 defeat.
Credit should go were its due, and we need to point out that Bournemouth have been putting in the work in the last couple of games and we saw the threat the pose in the Arsenal game and were unlucky not to win that game... today they came to play for maximum 3points and they did because Liverpool were second best today.

Can not believe that Liverpool could not score today
They waisted all the goals against Man United
Am not a Liverpool fan but I can tell you am disappointed with these guys with the shit show they brought out today  Sad You can't even explain it tbh.. is it possible they used up all goals they had allocated to them... What's really going on with these guys...?

In other news, City had a tough time breaking Palace but they did get a goal after a tough fought battle and currently lead by a goal to nil, pressure back on Arsenal let's go.
2454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 11, 2023, 07:03:22 PM
Hi!

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it.
That would have been a great time to join the crypto verse but great to have you here now Smiley

I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens.
Every great project have always started off with many not believing in them and others would consider such as a gamble, but as an investment it's about the risk and if you willing to take the risk you could be rewarded handsomely or walk away with peanuts  Roll Eyes it's all out of the game.

So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

Thanks in advance!
AFAIK, crypto has no late entry because the potential it has.. has not yet been realized and you wouldn't want to pass on this opportunity...
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 11, 2023, 02:37:24 PM
Hmm... I constantly write that despite the local success of Liverpool, they have a disastrous season, there is no stability and they are not suitable for betting, but yesterday for some reason I added them to my multibet  Undecided
Apparently 1-0 is the final result of the game and Liverpool again becomes the underdog for the fight for the top 4.
What a day to start the weekend games, so Liverpool missed a penalty which should have put them on the score sheet and that left them without a single goal after a solid performance the other weekend that also humiliated an in form Manchester United... Am just not sure what voodoo goes on with scoring too many goes in one game and following match a guaranteed flop follows Cry

Guess teams in the bottom are desperate to get all 3 points and no team will stand in their way regardless of who they are, congrats to Bournemouth.

Wonder if we have anybody that predicted this scoreline  Roll Eyes
2456  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is kyc verification dangerous? on: March 11, 2023, 06:58:11 AM
Hello guy, I was reading a thread on this forum
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5221497.0.    recently and some other online blogs which said that kyc verification is extremely dangerous.
Of course it's dangerous, in the hands of the wrong right people they could use this to reset access to some of the platforms that don't have extra layers of verification holding your funds or personal data like credit card information etc and this could be a costly mistake in the long run as they could wipe your accounts dry.

If this is true, why do most crypto apps or other business ask for it
Back in the day KYC was not a thing not until crypto interest increased and with this mearnt users trying to get more than they were allocated for in bounties, airdrops etc and to ensure no cheating was involved KYC was born, though some platforms carry out KYC as part of their regulatory compliance!

shouldn't it be banned or removed.
Too late, kyc not going anywhere.

Most apps usually request for kyc verification before you can withdraw any coin or money from their wallets as this is very necessary to verify or certify you as a customer.
Most of us don't like it but sometimes this could be the only thing that could save your coins from unauthorized access.

Kyc verification for long has helped prevent identity theft, financial laundering or fraud, terrorism and all financial crimes.
It's a 50/50 thing, if the KYC isn't the type that requires some kind of biometrics sometimes the system can be beaten... Its like those YouTube videos showing a phone being unlocked with a photo and not actual human

Is this true that kyc verification can put your funds and personal data at risk? Should we stop using any app that ask for kyc verification?
Honestly it's all about due diligence and how bad you want to access the goods and services being provided.

2458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 09, 2023, 09:06:43 PM
Rashford has just scored a brilliant goal on the 5th minutes of the first half.
Great goal it was indeed, clearly this lad was in the shadows of Cristiano Ronaldo and now that he left these players have been forced to step up their game and they have done so in style.

And for Rashford why does Manchester United still need a striker when they can use Rash as a false striker, our current loaned guy is failing to deliver even the most easy of chances and needs to go.

I can see Manchester united dominating the field and having confidence in the game. Real Betis might equalise this goal in the first half but I think Manchester united is having good opportunities that they are suppose to take advantage of.
You were spot on, Betis came through with a wonderful goal, though I thought VAR would have ruled it out for a handball but it stood and scores are tied 1all..hope United come in strong for the second half.

My Countdown to Member Rank
Number of Merit left: 9
Hi my friend Madu$11. Actually I want to help you to send some merit to you, but my question is where do I start?
you don't have to bother to help him. just look at 95% of the posts he made in the bounty section. I don't have a problem with that, because he may be in the forum just to work on the bounty. but why should he also beg for Merit in this thread? is he getting fed up with campaigns that don't pay him what he deserves?
if anyone ever gives an account like that Merit, I'm afraid he will bring his bounty account farm to this thread and share Merit to each account alt.
https://ninjastic.space/user/Madu$11

I hope our friend isn't taking this as an attack on him seeing his become the subject of the day at the moment but as constructive criticism..

But that 95% of posts made in the bounty section needs to be lowered to at least below 10% to show positive contribution towards the forum

and not just looking forward to getting paid  Tongue sends the wrong signal for new members joining the forum for the first time.
