Firstly, I don't think Nketiah is overrated, he's presence is always felt by all their opponents, and he's work ethic is heavy and he's movement on and off the ball is superb too, he's just kid and he's definitely improving a lot, Arteta probably just wanted to give him a break today, I'm sure he'll be back in the line up for the midweek game.
Personally I don't rate strikers who blank in more than 5 games unless you're making an impact or making changes to goal like Harry Kane does When he's not scoring, he's assisting his teammates; I can't say the same for Nketieh; he doesn't have much of an impact on the team, he doesn't scare the hect out of defenders, and he's only playing well right now because he's in a more balanced team. If there was any good alternative he would be sitting on the bench due to his recent performance. For the record, Messi at 23 has already won two Ballon d'Or.. Stop treating him like he's some 17-year-old Academy kid when he's fucking ruining my FPL party; I'm his manager, and I have the right to to say shit to underperforming players.  Firmino isn't Klopp favorite's even when he was fit and and scoring well for them in the early games this season, he was still the third choice, that's why it never even crossed my mind to bring him in for one second.
Perhaps he felt Firmino was too selfless to be his main striker, because I see no reason Darwin should play ahead of Firmino Injuries are a common occurrence in football, and players require time to recover and regain their form. It's also worth noting that even after an injury, players can surprise us with their performances. Instead of focusing on the negatives, consider your team's strengths and weaknesses as you prepare for the upcoming games. And keep in mind that there are still many weeks left in the season for players to make an impact

Nketieh is another overrated player on my team; he's someone I always have an excuse to have on my team, but with the way Traossard and Martinelli are playing, I think his days are numbered. But anyway, I'm like Ige, I don't care and it doesn't have a single iota of impact on my decision... for now. Then again, penalties don't even change my mind either =)
The most valuable team is currently deep in the WO rank. I just need someone available to swap whenever I need to bring in someone. I knew you'd agree with me on this one. Nunez might be more of just a caution, but if he's indeed out for both games, no one is coming to rescue me because none of my bench players is having a fixture.
If he misses this one, he will most likely miss the next for match fitness reasons, and Klopp will not risk pushing him back into the lineup when the Jota and Firmino are available for selection. |

Darwin is out injured; I should have trusted my instincts; whenever you put a little trust in this Liverpool bum, things like this happen - wasted my wildcard on this bum; I'm not sure about the next game, but he's not going to produce any good returns. Sorry, Liverpool fans, but this guy's injury history suggests he might not perform as well as expected. Right now, I'm envious of Kane owners.

I'm currently sitting 1 point above you and just 15 points below the first place with more than 50 points to fight for, it's still an open race for everyone, this is not like a knockout game where each round gets harder as it goes on. It's an interesting fact that 4 exact score lines get you back to the top 10 and 4 bad results get you rocking the bottom. That's how the thing goes, that's why it's often best to try as much as possible to maintain a specific momentum, even if it's not at the highest level or pace, it's rather better to not try to chase not so feasible result every week just trying to chase the every gap between participant, I'm still never paying much attention to the leaderboard, but when we get about weeks left I'll check what's left to play for and what not, until then it's just guts, logic or pure statistical, perhaps a combination of the 3 to make a decision for me. Yes, there are so many games and so little space between positions that this is more like a dog race where the winner is not guaranteed until the final light. To be honest, I didn't expect to be in the top 20 after only making three predictions last weekend; this isn't the first time this has happened; I always have a setback when I'm getting closer to the top, but I'm not concerned because there's still plenty to play for.

I tried understanding about this budget system (sell price) but I probably only will pay attention later on. I cleared out my team drastically some weeks back, don't remember getting much more for Salah who'd been in it forever... That's because Salah, was barely/never high in demand, and you most likely would have even lost some budget for having him all through this while, but it's not going to be a very important factor to consider for anyone that barely have a player for more than 3 game weeks, they'd hardly ever be caught in between those heavy fluctuations. I'm still caught up with the sacrifice needed from me to be able to afford Darwin Nunez, but would he be worth that risk at the end of the day ? Am I the only one who doesn't really care about player prices and stats? Only the fixtures are more important to me. If I believe a player will help me win, I will sign him as long as my budget will allow. If I feel I will no longer benefit from the player, I will sell him and move on. It can be exhausting to simultaneously analyze fixtures and price metrics, but is it worth it? what will Liverpool show on weekend, after being humiliated in CL, can they win both matches?
I don't give a damn about the team as long as my guys get me what I want. Lol. |

Something positive to take away from this is that at least Liverpool are performing better than you, I'm currently sitting 22nd, but honestly there are some fine margins between these positions, a couple good game weeks and you're back in the bigger picture, but it's getting harder since were approaching the final third of the season. You said that I, having read posts before yours, also wanted to answer. We often read that young people in Nigeria, even after education, still cannot get a good job, and participation in a subscription company is still better than just sitting around doing nothing. Other than that, I think that the OP is not just writing posts, but reading the forum day by day and gaining new knowledge. Namely, knowledge is a good companion for further job search.

In Nigeria, stone-age parents do not believe anyone can earn money by pressing phones, so if you tell them you made money by pressing your phone, they will label you a fraudster and will usually call the cops on their own children. That is the society in which the majority of Nigerians live. I am surprised that everyone is advising not to depend on signature campaign as job. But people have been in Best_Change, chipmixer, Roobet etc campaign for more than 2yrs. While some real time work doesn't even last upto 6 months.
It's still unreliable! Because these jobs are not guaranteed, and no one knows what will happen the following week. It's more of a side hustle; anything more is incorrect. My opinion |

After the humiliation at Anfield last night is anyone probably reconsidering tripling in on Liverpool players, especially having a lot about people getting TAA, what if their win in the league over the weekend is another glitch in the matrix, like the 9-0 nil victory they had earlier into the season.
You guys would be disappointed in me for shamelessly bringing back Darwin in to my team after I dumped him into the bin a few weeks ago, but I couldn't ignore the fact that he's a better option than Kane and Halaand at the moment with a DGW advantage. I activated wildcard, and yes, I was bold enough to sign three Liverpool players into my team. (Trent, Darwin and Salah ) 3 Liverpool, 3 Arsenal, 2 Brighton (blank week but looking forward to DGW 27), 2, Everton players, 1 Wolves player, 1Leicester player, 1 City player, 1, Aston villa and 1 Chelsea. I'm aware that Klopp is out of his element right now, but it doesn't appear that he will be fired any time soon as I had hoped. All I need is for Salah and Darwin to work their magic. I got rid of all the Manchester United players except Rashford... I recently took away pillows and blankets that were donated to those in need and in doing so, made a mental analogy with Manchester United's 25th and 26th game weeks (that's how often I think of the FPL).

Since we don't yet have a specific fixtures calendar, I would personally recommend that we set up emails to serve as automatic deadline reminders. I would also advise the team to always post links to questions on the current page of the thread rather than on the third page, as I almost missed yesterday's round of questions while looking for the link to the Google form.
We do have a broad fixture calander. We plan to finish each round on Sunday and give you new set of questions latest on Monday with deadline on Tuesday or later if there is no CL that week. Set alarm on Mondey 1 PM and you are pretty much guaranteed to be on time with fresh set of questions. 1PM forum time I guess. I think that it's much easier for everyone participating in this competition to set up a Telegram notification bot that notifies you when your username is mentioned on the forum. If I'm not mistaken, Trofo and cryptofrka always mention everyone's username in the post with new set of questions.
I have my telegram bot set up on my PC, but for the past few weeks I have been accessing the forum through my phone, which does not have telegram installed, because I was fucking far away from my PC. I understand that this could happen to anyone else as well, but I guess I have to put more efforts on my side and check this thread more frequently. Problem solved.

Cup will happen at some point but I am not sure if it would be good to do it in season 1. There is still players missing the deadline every week and there are questions about rules. We will not introduce new stuff before we feel that everyone is comfortable with what is already happening in competition.
Our main goal now is to show the merits of this competition and to attract new quolity players for season 2. That way we can procede with planned leagues expansions.
Personally, I think division expansion would be preferable than league expansion. We all want fast-paced, entertaining competitions, so I think the 12-man league is fine. With this format, we can have three seasons from a single season of league games and the UCL league. Liverpool becomes the first English Premier League club to exit the UCL because there is no way to outscore Real Madrid at home.
Liverpool could be probably win the game in Spain, and I'll be backing them to win if the Odds are 3-4 Odds issh, but their chances of qualification is the only possibility I'm ruling out already without mincing words. Only Chelsea has a good home record against Real Madrid; I'm not sure Liverpool can cause an upset in Spain; if they can't do it at home with a 2:0 lead, things will only get worse for them in Spain. Vini and Benzima ran through the Liverpool defense all night, until Klopp fixed that they have no business in Madrid. Yesterday's performance should open everybody's eyes - our midfield needs huge investment. Bajcetic was awful and is at fault for 3 goals at least, but it was so frustrating to see a 18-year old boy still asking for the ball because everybody else was hiding.
Gomez, Trent, and Virgil were all terrible all night, but an 18-year-old Bajcetic is getting all of the blame- this is another reason Mane left, he was doing all of the dirty work while Salah was taking all of the credit from the Liverpool fans.

Real has given Liverpool a proper football lesson in second half. Did not catch first 30 minutes so basically I have only seen Real play.
Real is real boogeyman for Liverpool, just look at history of their previous matches, but this was spectacle to watch. I bet nobody expected this scenario in first half when Liverpool scored first two goals, but that is the beauty of this sport I predicted outcome of both today matches correct, but there was no exact score for me today. What is happening with you in this pool, why are you near bottom? I mentioned earlier that Real Madrid are a different breed in the Champions League; I knew Liverpool would be exposed sooner or later after unconvincingly leading 2:0 after 20 minutes, but I never expected them to bottle such an advantage. I can't believe I was thinking about having two Liverpool defenders in my fantasy team, but after watching Vini run through them like they were nothing, I don't think any of them are worth it. Despite that Liverpool is bookmakers favorites today, I don't have much faith in them. BTTS makes sense, but I expect cautious game. I'll rather go with Real not to lose, similar odds like BTTS.
I'm going with significant stake on Napoli ML. Yeah, Eintracht is looking good, this team is understimated much like previous season, but Napoli is one of the biggest forces this season. And I don't fully agree with argument that they're home team. They can play good away, destroying Ajax 1:6 is best example.
