Wasn't Rijeka just a couple of years ago fighting and dominating this league if I recall correctly,I follow all the Western Balkans leagues because I live and work in this region from many many years now,I feel a Balkaner now  . I don't know for how long the coach has been there but I think that a coach needs a lot of time to improve the team,if he is there from a lot of time and has not improved anything in the team and in addition to that to go and lose a game with the last place team of the second league,I am afraid only firing him is the way forward. Yes it was. OK, I wouldn't say that they were dominating the league but they were in the top 2-3 teams. They were even champions few years ago. Serse Cosmi was appointed as a head coach in September so he is still relatively new. But it wouldn't surprise me for him to be sacked because of bas results. Especially after they lost in the Cup. |

There is nothing good in people losing their hard earned money just because someone doesn't know how to do business. True, this could (and probably will) make other exchanges like Binance to be more transparent, but at what cost? At the World Cup, we always want to see the world's best players and enjoy great football. Because of this, true fans regret the absence of every great player, like Pogba.
The possible absence of such a big star as Messi would really be a tragedy for the Argentine team but also for world football and I believe that it will not happen.
Unfortunately, football is a rough sport where injuries are always possible and we are sure to see more injured players during the World Cup.
I just hope that FIFA understands now that they can have the World Cup in the middle of the season. It's just not worth it if many players will be absent because of injuries. And if that's not enough, yesterday they have lost a cup match against Bijelo Brdo (the club is sitting in the last place of the second Croatian league). I really don't know what is going on with Rijeka and for how long will Rijeka's coach stay in the club.

We have another injury that could potentially make Croatia's Joško Gvardiol miss the World Cup. For now the doctors are still not sure how bad the injury is. We only know that he collided with one of his team mates and that he suffered a concussion and a broken nose. Let's hope he will be able to recover in time to play in the World Cup. It would be a big setback for Croatia if he misses it.

I too don't think that Qatar has any chance to finish in the top two spots. They have many naturalized players and they play for the money (at least I think that's the case). It's different when a player plays for his own nation because often they put an extra effort to play. Of course, this is football and surprises are always possible but in the group A I think surprise is reserved for Senegal to advance to the next round, especially now that Mane is injured and it's questionable if he will play for Senegal.
I'm not too sure just because of money problems they want to play for the Qatar squad, because most of Qatar's naturalized players are from Arabian peninsula countries, only 3-4 are from outside Arabia. So in my personal opinion, it's not about money, I mean here for the naturalized Qatari players. for soccer players, playing in the world cup is a dream for most professional players who don't necessarily have the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of fighting in the world cup. they have a chance, and will play all out to the best of their ability. no matter which country they are defending. on paper, the Qatar squad is not a formidable opponent for a team that is in this group A phase. however, they have a distinct advantage over the opponents they will face. Of course, being the home team was not the deciding factor for them to qualify for this preliminary round. however, we will not know until this fight starts. Well, with Mane's injury things started to look a little better for Qatar. I know that a team plays football and not one player but stil I think that it's questionable what are the odds of Senegal advancing to the next round without him. I think that currently it is not 100% sure that he will not play (at least for what I read) but I think that there is more chance of him missing the World Cup than playing on it. |

It can't get any more shittier than this. At first I couldn't believe what I read in the NBC News article. But then I remembered that we are talking about Qatar. Rape victims getting punished is very common in this part of the world. These sort of incidents are very common in the middle east. It is estimated that more than 90% of the female domestic employees working in the middle east get raped by their employers. And if they complain about it, the victims are sent to jail with additional punishment of flogging. FIFA should be blamed for staging such an important tournament in a stone age society. It is so sad that stuff like that is happening anywhere in the world. Maybe the World Cup brings more media attention to this kind of problems and politicians in Qatar and other countries like Qatar starts to change. Who knows... |

It would be interesting to know if we are seeing more injuries during this world cup than during the previous editions, I bring this up because even if we are talking about professional soccer payers, athletes have a cycle on their performance with the peak being reached when the championships are supposed to be played, the fact that the world cup had to be delayed until November forced a lot of them to change their training regime, and this could be causing the high number of injuries we are seeing prior to the world cup.
I think the reason why there are so many injured players just before the World Cup is because this time it is being held in the middle of the season (at least in Europe). Especially at this time (November, December) football players have to play a lot of games (national leagues, national cups, european competitions...) and it's no wonder a bunch of them end up injured. I hope this will be the last time that the World Cup is being played in the middle of the football season. |

Another reason why a country would hold a league with only 10 teams is to improve their football quality.This is achieved that these teams will play each other at least 3 times and in some leagues 4 times rather than creating a league with more teams but those teams will not have any quality at all and thus all teams would be playing each other only 2 times but the problem with that would be that the league would be won by a good team with much point difference,while we see here in Croatia Hnl that there is not a big gap between the top two teams.
True, that's a good reason to have small number of teams in a league. With Croatian league it's different. To someone who doesn't follow the league closely it could look like Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split are close. But the reality is that Dinamo is way better team and in the end they will win the league. All other teams have similar quality. If I'm not mistaken, Dinamo played two matches less than Hajduk so there are six points that they will probably win and separate themselves from the rest of the league. Especially now when there's no more European matches so they will concentrate solely to the national league. |

Yes I would be OK as those politicians represent me,they were chosen by the vote of their people and what is worse than any sanction and any ban from competitions is that 83% of that Russian civil population agree with this ill senseless war.
Therefore also players of any sport should be banned so they raise their voice against the actions of their government,so far I have not seen a single Russian athlete raise their voice against such war of violence that is going on from many months.
Again, I'm not sure which country are you from but have it cross your mind that they are afraid to talk publicly against the war? After all, in first months of the war (I'm not sure if that's still the case) Putin created a law that punishes everyone who would say that it's a war. Things looking equal for both Ecuador and Senegal even I have feeling Ecuador is better side but still its not easy game against Senegal and here we can face any result Qatar is surely coming at fourth, and they have no chance for going up because their quality is surely not good, and they are just playing as host and home advantage is good but not favourable many cases for me winner from Senegal vs Ecuador can go at second spot as both have ability to win against Qatar and Netherlands is not going to give any chance as they are looking for good result after absent from last world cup now they are at their best.

Previously FIFA had a policy of separating politics from sport. And that is why North Korea was allowed to compete in one of the previous tournaments. Sports always gives us an opportunity to make advancements in global peace. But then, NATO started pressurizing FIFA and as a result of that they were forced to suspend both Russia and Belarus from the tournament. Next they may ban China. If sports bodies ban any country which they don't like, then their own reputation will be going down the drain. This is something that can't be encouraged. I wasn't aware that NATO was pressuring FIFA to ban Russia and Belarus. I understand that FIFA is not so powerful organization like NATO so it's somewhat understandable why they banned those two countries. But still no one can say that it's fair. The thing is as a sports body, FIFA will also have to look for ways to bring in money. And I am okay with the World Cup being hosted in any country as long as it is not rigged. And I am okay with Qatar hosting the World Cup because they are a rich country and probably with the World Cup. They will be able to improve their situation in football. Multiple parts of your statement are wrong. First of all, Qatar didn't won the hosting rights in a fair manner. Back in 2010, Qataris openly bribed some of the poorer members of FIFA (especially those from Africa and Asia), in order to get their votes. And I don't think that hosting the tournament in that country will do anything good for the sport of football. The fans are also facing a lot of issues, due to the local laws on alcoholic drinks and unmarried couples. Just a few days to go for the start of the tournament, and we still don't have any clarification on many of the issues. You can't say that hosting the World Cup will not bring anything good for the sport or football of Qatar. If nothing, it will bring new stadiums. The question remains how will they use those stadiums. For example my country hosted the world cup in handball and it resulted in many new arenas. The problem was that after the world cup there was little use to majority of those arenas because some had capacity for 30.000 people, but handball is not a sport where that many visitors come to see the game. Similar thing could happen in Qatar because football is not that popular there. But I'm sure they will make some use of those stadiums. After all, they are far richer country than my is. |

Ima i jedna nova kampanja Crypton Exchange - Utopia za našeg palog kralja Slackovica, ne mora pisati u Gambling ali se nažalost ni lokani postovi ne priznaju. Vidim ja da je on ozbiljno spreman za novu kampanju, otvorio je i novu HNL temu i sprema se za novu Game of Thrones sezonu sa Danielom. Evo prijavio sam se. 25 postova na engleskom nije baš malo napisati ali budem valjda nekako uspio. Ako ništa, uvijek ima ekipe koja u Beginners sekciji piše gluposti pa se lako priključiti 
Evo konačno i mene u jednoj kampanji. Lova nije baš velika ($50 tjedno u BTC-u) ali daju i nekakve CRP tokene. Nisam čuo za taj token ali vidim da mu je mcap oko 5 milijuna dolara pa možda ima neku perspektivu. Vidjet ćemo samo koliko dugo će kampanja trajati.
