2462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Are The Top Altcoins For Investments In 2021 on: March 15, 2021, 10:59:50 PM
Looks like all altcoins were in a bullish trend just because of Bitcoin dominance that was always spiked in the market and all altcoins do the same in a position that pumped too much.  TBH, I care more about Bitcoin than the other altcoins, if you have keep more Bitcoin in your portfolio it might give a better profit since we know Bitcoin now always have a surprise of reaching always an ATH.

I have doubted that this BNB will spike the price more unless the Ethereum fee will not change, traders will choose Binance Smart Chain to trade than using Ethereum pairs

However, all in all, those altcoins who in the top 20 has always have good potential.
2463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 10,000? on: March 14, 2021, 11:59:33 PM
Possible, but $10k is too slow for this prediction, we know that there's no infinite growth of Bitcoin price and if there is an all-time high, there's also an all-time low.  It was been expected by most that right after this bullish trend there would be a small pullback on the market price and all of us have a crystal ball and draw our own insight.  For me, it will hardly break down the $30k price, look around, there are too many investors including institutional and even private companies start adopting Bitcoin.

For now, let's enjoy the recent pump of Bitcoin.  Dont think too much about the possible pullback that might cause FOMO on us.  Bitcoin prices remain predictable at the end.
2464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 14, 2021, 11:47:37 PM
absolutely it is, but only for those who knows what they are doing very well. to me its the knowledge before the capital. when you have the quality knowledge you can start with little capital and build it up. although having a huge capital will take you ahead faster.
I tend to agree with this, it's a very simple idea.  Build up knowledge first before thinking of huge capital, even how small it is if you know how to manage you can build it up and make a huge capital when you have already your profit, but of course with the reputable exchange.  Skills are most important in trading, furthermore, if you know those analyses that commonly and effective way used in trading.

At the right time when your experience teaches you very well, that is the right time to increase your capital.  Skills + Big capital  =  Big profit.
2465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: March 14, 2021, 11:27:45 PM
The confusion was always there since everyone confused about who is the real Satoshi and how this technology running behind this invention.
But the fact is that even we found the real Satoshi it will never change the Bitcoin price, we as the community and the crypto enthusiast who hold the price of Bitcoin including the institutional investors the recently adopting Bitcoin.

Why not we don't respect the decision of the Bitcoin creator hiding permanently?  Satoshi designed Bitcoin anonymously as a peer-to-peer payment method.  This is to make sure for Satoshi that Bitcoin will remain decentralized creation.

I truly salute Satoshi even I don't know, people now have benefited from what Satoshi's created.
2466  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Reward - Ninki Wallet Recovery on: March 14, 2021, 11:06:38 PM
I tend to agree with the comment above, used Electrum in importing your Bitcoin wallet.  But FIRST, it might now, there's someone who will PM you, don't disclose with anyone your private keys to them, always ask publicly.

Any kind of wallet that has BIP39 like Electrum or Coinomi, you can able to import there your wallet.  Most of them just used standard derivation paths upon recovering, if you don't understand here is the Youtube video of what is crypto wallet derivation paths.

Now, here is another video Youtube tutorial on how to recover a standard wallet using Electrum.
Just research your own first, everything is on the internet on how to recover Bitcoin wallets.

It seems this thread related to your problem.
2467  Economy / Services / Re: [Hacked] Funds stolen [Reward] on: March 14, 2021, 10:30:59 PM
Instead of offering reward here try also to contact the Chainalysis team if you can afford to pay their service, they have quite popular in solving the high-profile cybercriminal cases related to any blockchain transaction if you think that your Bitcoin has been stolen with someone else.

In that case, turning back isn't possible but tracing where it goes might be helpful IF your coin isn't yet converted to fiat.  Sorry for your loss mate but as they said above, Bitcoin transactions are irreversible.  Move on and don't let this happen again, that's how risk we handle while adopting cryptocurrency.
2468  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long would it take for one Satoshi to equal one US dollar? on: March 13, 2021, 11:51:04 PM
It possible that will happen in the future, 1 sat becomes 1 USD or more.  It's quite difficult to predict by simply guessing the market and all of us can do that without any supporting proof, something technical, or even fundamental analysis.

Don't bother yourself thinking that prediction, no one can give an accurate forecast of what will in the future, we doubt that it will happen but there's no exact time frame if when it will come.  It's better to wait and enjoy every ATH that comes, Bitcoin was in a bullish trend and now the most anticipated  ATH at the price of $100 will might almost there.

Don't be hurried, just enjoy your profit or keep holding if you believe that will happen.
2469  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Import Electrum BECH32 private key in blockchain.com on: March 13, 2021, 11:25:50 PM
what if the legacy address created by segwit private key belongs to someone and happens to hold some BTC?
What if?  So, it really won't happen.

Theoretically, yes, it might be, but unfortunately, that didn't happen yet.  So technically, it's impossible because it composed of alphanumeric characters, with lower and upper case letters which are 54 + 10 numeric digits, and are as many as 64 characters long, which means that the total possible number of keys is impossible or more likely the chances is initially zero percent, IIRC.  It's a bit technical but there's nothing to worry about that.

In your problem, why not directly send your Bitcoin into an exchange if you wanted to trade, not to discourage you but Blockchain.com has faced different problems such as low confirmation of withdrawal to their exchange, and also, that's a buggy wallet.
2470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum wallet, choosing one on: March 13, 2021, 10:48:16 PM
For cold storage?  Why not purchasing a Hardware wallet if you want to hold it for a long-term purpose since you're talking about cold storage, so it supposedly a long-term of holding your coin.

The same on Electrum, I think Coinomi has the same feature but it's a multi-sig wallet.  It's supported both PC and Android application.

Okay not a browser, so MEW here is exempted.  Here's what I can suggest.

2471  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is the Beginners & Help section excluded from certain signature campaigns? on: March 13, 2021, 04:25:33 PM
I tend to agree with all comments above, this all about the "target audience" and the manager who managed the signature campaign which only knows which board the project will gain interest and to have possible investors or users.  If that campaign related to gambling, of course, they will focus or give prior to the gambling section.

IMO, this rule was on the manager's policy/rules and might be agreed upon by the project owner.  I had checked all threads managed by different campaign managers and it seems they had different rules even though it is the same gambling project signature campaign.  Probably it is good if we hear a response regarding this to them and why some of them they excluded Beginners & Help section for most of their campaign being managed.

Or else, as participants we should respect their decision and we're free not to join if that section being excluded is our habit to post.
2472  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to start a donational fund for the Philippines people? on: March 13, 2021, 03:48:36 PM
I think OP was asked about how to put Bitcoin as a fund of donation in the Philippines.  There are most trusted people doing this aside from the charity program here on Bitcointalk.  I remember Binance was doing this during the pandemic and helping frontliners sending PPE supplies to hospitals in the Philippines and I as heard, they keep doing this until now.

Also, our boxing legend senator Manny Pacquiao has also a Foundation that accept cryptocurrencies not only Bitcoin, just try to collaborate with them for your donation proposal, and might they will not refuse especially if this will have great help to the people of the Philippines that need help.

But if someone asking raising funds for charity donation without any experience(a newbie), everyone might doubtful and thinking that is a scam.
2473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost Wallet/Private Keys on: March 13, 2021, 03:01:31 PM
Hello to All,
I remember a link where a wallet was created from my banking info and I remember writing some keys or passwords down.
Hello there, trying to figure out your problem.
This is your clue now, try to trace the link if you remember using your computer, it presumably you've saved the password or something files in your computer.  For now, we can't guess what wallet you've used back then, but if that is a web wallet for sure it was associated with your phone number and email address and if that is a hardware wallet, try to find the wallet file that must be saved in your computer.

Not to discourage you, but it seems the chances of recovering your wallet are very low.  Everything is on your computer, have dig research might help you.
2474  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Theymos really a lauda? on: March 13, 2021, 02:01:40 PM
Yes, but did you forget that the cat has 7 lives?
I doubted that it has but the big question in my mind when the resurrection will happen, is there a way to boost her resurrection process.  Cheesy  Her cult urgently needs a queen.

It didn't come to my mind that Lauda and Theymos are the same, they are far different from each other.

Now look straight ahead for a moment, please.

 Cool
There's someone hiding on the back and wearing shades too, probably that was OP.  Make a clear shot again.

Probably OP was triggered to this post of yours.
I'm not sure what I can do to top that. We'll see what my "theymos is actually lauda" investigation brings forward.
..due to confusion, OP was made investigation but it was failed.

2476  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: issues with electrum : Broadcasting Error message on: March 11, 2021, 05:33:30 PM
I tend to agree with the comment above, check first the required transaction fee because that might one cause of your problem that you can't able to process your transaction.  But I have doubt there's another reason aside from the transaction fee.

First, check if you are in the latest version and it should version 4.0.9 at the official download website of Electrum and you should always do a PGP validation and you will be fine.

Second, check the round button on the right side, it should be a green color that means connected to the network, not a red one, see this image as a sample.

Edited: I saw and noticed this in your post;
"mempool min fee not met" it's a typo error but it means "mine fee not met".  It makes sense now, its about the FEES.
2477  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S is not safe!! on: March 11, 2021, 03:58:56 PM
Ledger wallets are a well-known safe hardware wallet for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, so before accusing them, let us know first where did you buy that Ledger Nano s wallet.

If you have bought your Ledger nano s device on these authorized distributor/reseller networks, you're probably safe and not the device fault losing your Bitcoin, but if not, you might have used a not genuine device and probably a preconfigured or tampered one which they can access your device.  To avoid a headache, always purchase on the official site.

It might be helpful if you read this article and you might find the answer to your problem but unfortunately, not to recover your Bitcoin's loss. and sorry for your loss, learn this mistake don't let it will happen again.
2478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: March 11, 2021, 03:32:37 PM
I thought you will give an idea or something knowledgeable advice on how to trade just because the title says, "Trade + study = great combination", do you think this is relevant to your post?

I never tried copy trading but I have heard, using this feature sometimes mislead newbies to losing their funds, so I suggest having a full study first and don't rely on copy-paste trading because the movement of the market will not repeat itself for the copy-paste trading.  Trading isn't an easy task of gaining money and there's nothing to hurry if you didn't have yet knowledge and skills on it.

Of all you have been mentioned above, only the Etoro exchange platform could I trust, the rest aren't well known and probably it's a risk to trust to hod your fund there.
2479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 11, 2021, 03:13:01 PM
I don't know if this is just with me as the Blockchain app I use doesn't recognize Segwit addresses (It has never recognized it once since the Segwit thing came to be). It records them as invalid addresses. Does anyone have similar issue?
I have never used blockchain wallet before, but I just downloaded it not quite long for testing, it does not support both native and nested segwit addresses, it is one of the wallets misleading people to pay high unnecessary fee. Although, it is one of the wallet not recommendable for use, also a web wallet which are most vulnerable to online attacks. For it not supporting segwit is also one of the good reasons this wallet should not be used.
AFAIK, you can modify fees on Blockchain.com wallet aside from regular and priority fees option which definitely higher and fixed fees and yes, they aren't supported both native and nested Segwit addresses.  I tend to agree that this web wallet isn't recommendable, there are tons of issues and most commonly poor customer support.

In OP's concern and most of us concerned, the terrible fee of Bitcoin upon having transaction.
I noticed that the Bitcoin transaction fee will increase when there's a bull trend in the market, but when there's a correction, Bitcoin fees will drop.  Not all the time Bitcoin transactions always high, for example, like weekends.  I noticed that it will drop the required amount of fee from mempool when it isn't clogged.  Therefore, there's perfect timing upon making transactions and always check the mempool for the required amount fees before having a transaction.

Probably that's the reason now Bitcoin was treated as a store of a valuable asset, not a daily transaction, just because of the fee, they prefer to hold than spending for every day what so ever the purpose.  But I don't see people switching into altcoins, in fact, Ethereum and Bitcoin had the same situation of having ridiculous fees.  There's nothing we can do as of now about this high fee, in fact, that is the same amount of fraction in satoshi per transaction but the value was increased because the price goes up.

For alternatively avoiding the possible high cost of the fee, encourage everyone to support Bitcoin wallet that supports Lightning Network and use Segwit wallet address, you can at least modefy the fee but not the trasnaction speed.  Just accept that how Bitcoin works.
2480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government Creates Own Blockchain & Cryptocurrency on: March 09, 2021, 11:50:15 PM
That's also known as CBDC, they want to develop their own centralized currency and tend to replace Bitcoin currency.  As for advice, let them be and let them see what will happen to their creation after knowing that it's always better to HOLD and currency that has a decentralized nature.  This will not give an effect on Bitcoin, still the same as having progress and is based on the demand and supply.

That's right, how this makes sense to have the cheapest fee, can you use this CBDC in future trading?  It might their whole concern is all about the regulation of Bitcoin, since isn't yet regulated to them, it's hard to be accepted by most governments.
