2461  Economy / Gambling / Re: Faucet based gambling sites. on: May 25, 2016, 07:26:26 AM
I was wondering if anyone knows of any faucet based gambling sites. I know there is gamefaucet but is there anything else ? Huh

A lot of gambling sites, especially dice sites, have pretty good faucet systems based on your "rank", which is determined by how loyal you are to their site, your gaming volume, chat messages, etc.

For example, Primedice, Betking, 999Dice, Bitsler etc. All of them have faucets of varying amounts. If you're just gambling from faucet, I suggest you compare and find the most worthwhile one. At least you can't lose anything ;P
2462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: May 25, 2016, 07:24:52 AM
The halving will most likely be profitable for sure but we will see if this really gonna happen of course.
I hope it will be very profitable but this is still the question.
halving will be profitable when prices are higher because of halving, but no one can be sure that halving will bring bitcoin prices higher? because still the decisive factor is the users themselves, if the moment arrives precisely halving decreased demand, it will not make bitcoin prices rise
Halving is profitable while for long or short time, the price will be going up surpass standard price before halving. but if price become more halving from the previous time it's not profit but it's a loss .we can't predict them because halving price, profitable or not it's all  rely with various factor.

It could possibly happen. The pump might happen before the halving actually happens. But right now I don't think it's going to be the case, since the price is staying stable at the moment, and not increasing.

I think that the halving will definitely make bitcoin prices go up. By how much I have no idea, and no one could possibly predict. But I think by at least $50. It could be a delayed consequence of halving, or it could happen a few days before halving.
2463  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bctalkaccountpricer.info unaccessible? on: May 25, 2016, 07:21:22 AM
Yeah, bctalkaccountpricer down for me as well. I was wondering why I couldn't access it as well, and then I checked isitdownrightnow and it said it was down for everyone so... Not just me Tongue

It's not the only bitcointalk account pricer out there though. As Cyaren said, http://btalkestimator.byethost3.com/ is a good alternative to the pricer. As for the reason that it's down, I have absolutely no idea.
2464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2016, 07:18:44 AM
Well, yes, firstly gambling could be fun. But seriously, it isn't always fun if you lose, is it? And I can tell you now that the times I lost on gambling exceeds the times I won on gambling by a factor of infinity.

But bitcoin definitely provides a good way for gamblers to gamble anonymously. Perhaps they don't want to be found in the casino playing cards. Perhaps they just want to sit back on their laptops and play dice.

Bitcoin offers all those options for gamblers.
2465  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: May 25, 2016, 07:16:08 AM
Definitely would like to shop online for new fashion, new technology, and soft and cuddly toys Tongue Perhaps some office stationary too, cigarettes I think won't have that much of a demand for it because the percentage of smokers is going down currently.

But technology is definitely going to be a big player. Since bitcoin is an innovation itself, people who uses bitcoin will be interested in new phones, new laptops, and new releases. You should look into those.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 25, 2016, 07:13:27 AM
I don't think that it's that surprising that bitcoin gambling is exploding. Simply because of the non-reversibility that bitcoin offers as a payment option, unlike Paypal or Credit Cards. That's why both the house and the player prefers it because no one can charge back.

And this could be both good or bad for bitcoin. It could be good since it brings more attention to bitcoin, and more people use it; but it could be bad as well because people get addicting to gambling.
2467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: May 24, 2016, 09:44:07 AM
The best investment you can make in my opinion is your spare time. Devote your spare time into something. You are basically liquidating time, which is an asset as well, into something tangible. Instead of sitting around playing games, you could be earning some extra cash for yourself to have some fun over the weekends.

If you fail, all you have sacrificed is time which would otherwise be wasted. So there is no risk whatsoever unlike other investments.
2468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin on Coinbase????????? on: May 24, 2016, 09:41:44 AM
Yeah, this has been mentioned a couple of times already in altcoin discussion. But yeah, I guess it's the push that litecoin needed. To be honest though, I don't think litecoin can be revived however much you try now. Simply too much lack of interest and neglect within the bitcoin community.

But, who knows? Maybe after Coinbase starts to trade litecoin, the price will surge, since the LTC/USD option is added. Currently it's not that easy to buy LTC directly with USD.
2469  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn Bitcoins fast and free?? on: May 24, 2016, 09:38:45 AM
In my opinion, it is not worth your time to start a blog, especially if you haven't got any experience with blogs in general. You've just gotta take care of so many things while you only have this much time on hand. You're better off working a full time job.

For me, I like to start with doing surveys and tasks. Crowdflower, personaly, global test market, I've done all that. I think it's a good way to start your bitcoining career. You don't get a lot, but you do get around $2 a completed task. That's better than faucet.
2470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 09:34:38 AM
Definitely in the future. But right now I believe the bitcoin price is too volatile, and trading is way too dangerous. Also there are not that many opportunities that involves actually dealing with bitcoins... You're just working a full time job, but getting paid in bitcoins instead of fiat.

Trading could be an option, especially if you're good at it. But seriously, newbies should not trade without any knowledge of what they are doing. I've seen way too many people losing all their money because of one stupid move.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: May 24, 2016, 09:31:30 AM
do you like slot games ?

I only like slots in real life. In my opinion online slots is pretty bad, both in the graphics and in the house edge percentage, and I haven't got a good experience with those filthy slots either. I always lose... I think slots is for people who plays for fun, and want to go for the jackpot.

If you want to try out all your strategies, go for dice instead. It is way simpler as a game and you can program a bot for the site you're rolling on. It's definitely better than slots online.
2472  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 24, 2016, 09:29:40 AM
I want ask anyone if i give you 10 Btc what will you do. because i want investment but i have no any good idea to invest it (except gambling) but i don't like dambling. So i want ask you viewS.

I would tuck it away safe and secure, in a cold wallet that is completely offline such as a paper wallet. I wouldn't want hackers trying to access my bitcoins, that's my first priority. Keeping my bitcoins safe.

I'll simply hold those coins till I need them for an emergency, or when I think is a good time to liquidate them. I believe in bitcoin's role as a currency, and as an asset that allows you a store of value. That's why I choose to do it this way if you give me 10 BTC.
2473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: May 24, 2016, 09:27:38 AM
Exactly. Gambling is not the way to go about filling up your wallet with extra cash. Doing work is often the most effective and safest way possible. You just simply cannot beat the house, otherwise there will be literally no point in people opening new casinos now and then. You feel more pain if you lose your coins compared to your joy when winning, because you're always seeking for more profit.

No way you're going to win in the long run either. That's why there's a thing called the house edge. Keeps you coming back but never lets you win.
2474  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: May 24, 2016, 09:24:40 AM
Bitcoin has been rising up this past few weeks and continue to rise, what do you think?
will bitcoin continue to rise at the end of the month or it will have a sudden drop?

I'm sure that bitcoin will be rising for many decades to come. Simply because the fiat currency system is bound to collapse, and bitcoin will be adopted on  a grand scale sooner or later. It's simply a matter of timing.

In the short term you might fret because the price is going up and down. Do not worry because in the long term the trend is always going to be up and up only. So it's not surprising that bitcoin is continuously rising.
2475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: May 24, 2016, 09:22:55 AM
I prefer my money to be in bitcoin because cash and the fiat monetary system behind it is controlled by the government and central banks. They can at any time screw you up and literally take all your savings away.

While bitcoin is virtual and more convenient to deal with, and nobody controls bitcoin as a whole. Everyone contributes a little so that the network can work well on a daily basis, but no one has the power to create more bitcoin than scheduled.
2476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH will go to $100, then shoot up to BTC all time high on: May 24, 2016, 09:21:18 AM
I doubt that any altcoins, ethereum included, will ever go that high. Even if it does(probably due to the lack of coins in the network, like 42coin), it won't overtake bitcoin in terms of usage, and actual adoption. It'll only be traded as an asset, not used as a currency.

But it'll be interesting to see if ethereum actually goes that high. If it does, then you'll be filthy rich Tongue You can't really tell in the future because inflation will be a component too.
2477  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: May 24, 2016, 09:18:48 AM
It's funny how you claim to have over 700 bitcoins while the address in your personal text has only received 0.03 total in bitcoins. I doubt you actually have that much bitcoins. You know, it's easy for everyone to go inspect element or photoshop.

But if you did have that much: do not loan it out. There are so many bitcoin hungry people out there that are willing to sacrifice their hard earned reputation for some bitcoins. Especially with this much at stake, it is simply not worth it.

As to why people not paying them back... You can figure that out yourself, lol. People have been defaulting on loans since when loans are first invented. It's a part of the risks you have to cope with while giving out loans.
2478  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 08:26:54 AM
My plan to get rich with bitcoin is to simply use bitcoin as a savings protocol to encourage me to save money. I usually waste my money spending on things that I don't need at all. But with bitcoin and I watch my balance grow over time and that is pretty satisfying for me.

At the same time, I can get rich with bitcoin by holding it. I believe that bitcoin still has a long way to go both as a currency and its price. I buy it as an investment and as a store of value.
2479  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Shop which accepts BTC on: May 24, 2016, 08:25:16 AM
If you're looking for shops that accept bitcoins, there are lots of them and you can find them with absolutely no problems at all. A simple google search does the trick. Just search "Bitcoin accepting shops" or "Places that accept bitcoin".

You can also search your shop up here: http://spendbitcoins.com/places/ There is an entire list of shops that accepts bitcoin, filtered by what you would like to buy and your location. Also you can always use purse.io to purchase from amazon using bitcoins, sometimes even with a discount.
2480  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: May 24, 2016, 08:23:20 AM
If you're talking about trusting the bitcoin as a technology and as a payment network, then definitely, you can trust it because it is owned by nobody and is decentralized. Unlike the fiat system which is only owned by one single entity - the government.

If you're talking about the future of bitcoin, then I believe personally that it's going to be very successful. I think that bitcoin will be the glue that will lead to globalization, because it is simply so easy to send large amounts of money for no fee at all overseas, wherever you are located at.
