Thanks for Posting Map of Coins Link - Found very interesting. Easy to trace which coins started month by month.

You state that the Original Gorilla Bucks was included in the swap because no other exchange was going to add it. It was only 2 weeks from the time you issued it at $1 per coin (approx 400000 sat at the time).
You had no trouble getting New Gorilla Bucks on an Exchange. It leads one to speculate that there was never an intention to make an attempt at developing Original Gorilla Bucks since it was killed/merged in 2 weeks keeping the Name and Symbol. Having it listed would have prevented your using th Bucks Name for the merge.
Concerning no one lost (or only a few), even at 6 x exchange rate New Gorilla Bucks never came close to any volume/price that would allow Original Gorilla Bucks buyers to come out even. They all lost.

It all makes sence - No working node - no blocks can be verified - no chain movement - no POW no POS. But I know so little on coding and chains that I am of no real help. I'll keep opinions to my self now and let the pros figure it out. But the 1st thing to check is the node.

If chain is not moving blocks cannot be accepted.

Correction Huntercoin payout = BTC × 5 + LTC × 1 Dogecoin payout = LTC × 600
Sorry changed since last I looked

F2Pool is giving 600Doge per BTC but no Hunter

Dev - Noob Kid suggested the closed socket problem on the Node. I checked my debug.og file and found the same. Have you checked to see if it as simple as no opperating node?

|
|
Agreed - I like that you are using your name and can't wait for more info.

I need to learn more. I'm new to crypto so forgive me if I have it all wrong. I thought the dev was responsible for a working wallet and chain and the exchanges need to be notified when there is a problem and provided the fix by the dev. Are you saying the wallet and chain are good and the dev has provided but they have not updated their version?
I bought some Einaeora when I knew the wallet was a problem because the price was so good and the dev was communicating he was fixing. Now they are stuck because the chains not moving but, that's my fault.
My small rant: The problem I have with Cryptsy is it is so hard to keep track of receiving coins from them. I send myself 10000 and get 1500 then wait forever and the balance shows up back in cryptsy eventually. I have had to send 6 times to receive the pieces of a transaction I should have received in 1 block. Often what I send does not match what the send me. After making a few speadsheest to match all of the small buys to what I send to the pieces I eventually receive I found it always comes out. Sure would be nice though if they could send what I request in one amount.
Overall, I like Cryptsy and they are the main source (and sometimes, only source) of the long term buy and holds for the coins I want.
You want a rant - let's talk about the dev scammers that waste my electricity cost mining coins they abandon a week and sometimes days after starting.

Far as I know (but could be wrong) there was a different coin that was ECash. This coin was always EMoney with the ticker of (ECASH) just to keep things confusing.

This is tough. You are looking to buy cheap - if we had the answer we would all be buying and it would no longer be cheap. My advice - go to each exchange and spend a couple hours looking for low Sat coins with slowly rising volume. Then, select a few to spread your risk and then, a little prayer may help. Best advice pick a long term coin with lots of support and a developer that has been around. Buy what you can afford on dips. Things like HBN, CAP, TEK.
I've only been here a few months and have seen tons of coins die in days to weeks. A week seems like 3 years in the stock market. Best to stay with logn term coins unless you have money to burn.

And... he promised a 24 hour fix. We all know it can often be complicated more difficult than expected. Dev. Lesson 1 - Don't overpromise & Lesson 2 - Tell us what the problem is and what you are doing. People can accept problems when there is a flow of information - good or bad.
|
|
|
Yep - he has been gone for 5 day - 5 days is not a big deal if wallet and chain were working. But... it's not! Hey, Dev. You out there?

Suggestions to get the ball rolling: 1. Suggest 1 to10 Million reverse split or set an arbitrary max # of coins - i.e. 1 Million or 5 million.with each person getting % of total coins based on ownership of current coin. 2. unclaimed coins held non-staking for 6 months or 1year for those who don't hear of the swap reducing possibility of backlash - then, destoryed. 3. POS Interest rate that works well in many other coins 50% to 200%.

And everyone that bought original Borilla Bucks got no support and no market and forced into an exchange of coins with lower value coins.
But the good guy in all this is Paul and I for 1 can't figure out why he is being attacked. It could be just he was the unlucky one to be picked out of the hat. A couple a weeks ogo servers behind Coinbase got crashed because a 3rd company got attacked and it was like dominos
Good luck Paul - you are the best. And I 2nd the comment that I will support anything you are involved with in the future

|
|
Hey Paul - sorry to hear about the attack - puts you in the class with a lot of big name websites though but, I am sure you would rather not have the stress. Hang in there. They will get bored.

I had a problem when I set up a band I got band payments but no stakes. If you have a band that might be the problem. I deleted the band and stakes came rolling in after the 4 hour hold period.
If you have a band, try running 2 separate wallet - send coin not in band to second wallet for staking.

Initial supply was 1 Million Bucks - some not distributed but held for those who have not yet exchanged. I have not noticed if they will be distroyed at some point or held unissued?
