2461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some interesting ways you've introduced bitcoin to your friends? on: October 07, 2021, 06:12:04 PM
I haven’t really done much in terms of giving out Bitcoin, when I want to give out Bitcoin I just do it the normal way by sending it to my friends through wallet. But I first of all know whether they are into it, and if not, then I talk to them about it and help them set up a new wallet that they can use to be making use of Bitcoin.

When I have done that I would then send them some free bitcoins that they can use to start up, it usually makes them very happy and when they have used it for the first time and seen how interesting Bitcoin can be to use, they grow interest and then they start buying it and making use of it. Most of them have told me that Bitcoin is really cool and everything about it is so nice because of how techy and new it is.
2462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 06, 2021, 09:49:55 PM
Ranieri was an amazing coach during that Leicester period, dude managed to win so much with so little and that was a dream season. However let's remember that he did basically nothing ever since then. He was at Nantes and that wasn't really that good, sure it was as good as Nantes could hope for obviously but nothing really shocking, and at Sampdoria for a while and that wasn't really anything out or ordinary neither.

What happened that year was a magical situation that would never happen again and with Watford I am guessing he would simply just do what Watford is expected to do, which is avoid relegation and that's fine, as long as he can avoid relegation that's all I am expecting.

2464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 16, 2021, 06:50:50 PM
Real Madrid should buy a central defender but not just an ordinary central defender because what they need is a strong center-back who can replace Sergio Ramos. Jules Kounde might be an option for Real Madrid, in the last transfer windows he failed to sign for Chelsea, so there is an opportunity for Real Madrid to be able to sign him in the winter transfer windows.

It's just that for Jules Kounde Real Madrid has to prepare a lot of funds because there is a possibility that Chelsea will try to sign him again.
They are getting older on the front line as well. I understand that everyone expects Madrid to get a defender, but they can't keep Benzema at striker forever neither. I am still saying the same thing, they can afford to get Mbappe+Haaland together next off-season, one for free + salary, the other paid the amount they offered for Mbappe this year + salary. They can financially do that.

Can you imagine a team with Mbappe and Haaland on the same team? I do not care if they have 17 year old youth team players on defense if they somehow got that two. They can even sell the defenders they have and I wouldn't mind. It is just an insane potential that they have right now.

I do not know if they will do that or not, but I know that they can do it if they want to. Otherwise, they showed their hand on how much they have by offering Mbappe 180+ million, so any defender in the world would be cheaper than that, they could get 2 of the best defenders in the world with that money.
2465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 16, 2021, 05:46:58 PM
Nice to see that Kyrie Irving is still his same toxic self.  After a myriad of wild antics last year it seems the Nets have decided that they might want to move on from the diva guard.  In response to the Nets showing an interest in trading Kyrie, his agent has come out and said publicly that Kyrie will retire before playing with another team, seeming to tank his trade value and force the Nets to keep him on the roster.  Today Kyrie tweeted, My mask is off. Now take yours off. No fear.  He then clarified that this had nothing to do with Covid.  Assumingly, this is his response to the team's trade desire and him playing his "retirement" card.
Kyrie has always been a horrible person, not saying he is a bad basketball player, he is a good basketball player but he was always a weird one. Maybe we should be calling him that as his nickname? Instead of "the chosen one" we should make it like "the weird one", I can think of all the memes joking about him Cheesy.

I would say that there is a good chance we could see him ousted from the league very soon, if he can't deal with Nets and become a better locker room person and actually provide something to the team, then he is going to be bought out and fired basically, some other teams will give it a chance but he would be way too out of control after that and he would be ousted from the league even though he could still play. No way any team would get a good player if he has a horrible personality, Kyrie is not MJ or Kobe, he needs to be at least decent.
2466  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: September 16, 2021, 09:31:04 AM
You'll/We'll never know exactly, that is the reality in here. We just live into speculations and we usually based on their previous performance but none of them give us the hint of the close possible to happen next, it certainly be going nowhere.
We have that low at $44k but looking on the chart now, we are getting back to $46k. People are mostly expecting continuous drops but apparently, they are wrong ( including me).
Speculations, guessing, assuming, predicting these are all the same in the crypto world; made up numbers and dates. There is not a single soul in history that could ever say what bitcoin will do at what date back to back. Yes you can be right time to time but there is no way you can be right all the time. This is why people try to make sure that they end up making as much profit as they can on top of their losses.

If you lose 10 then profit 20, lose 50? then win 100. People do not look for not losing money while trading because that happens no matter what, they are looking for profiting more than they lost on the next trade and that way they are keeping ahead of the curve. I do not know how long that can be kept, sometimes people have an overall loss, but that doesn't mean that all of them are like that, there are some that makes a profit too.
2467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you scared? on: September 16, 2021, 09:00:48 AM
Bitcoin plummeted again on September 7 2021.BTC dropped by 54.7% on March 12 last year, by 12.54% on September 3 last year, and by 29.99% on May 19 this year. And 18.65% on September 7.
There were four reasons for the fall on September 7th:
1,The fall in US stocks caused Bitcoin to fall at the same time.
2,Singapore regulation.
3, SEC wants to sue coinbase.
4,It is related to El Salvador
Are you scared? Is there any hope for the future?
We talk about how emotions should be absent from trading and then we ask "are you scared". I am sorry but if you are following the advises here about the emotionless trading than you should be fine, because no ups or downs should take out any emotions out of us, and just because it drops doesn't mean that we should fear it.

Any logical trader would know that even if you end up losing during this period, you should end up not feeling anything and pick from here and start making profit again without worrying about what happened first. I personally do not feel any fear at all right now, I am feeling quite well about the current situation and that is how I listen to emotionless trading advises.
2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 15, 2021, 07:16:46 PM
Even ignoring the result - Barcelona was so bad yesterday. Without any idea while in possession, in total disarray when defending. In a space of a few months they fell from Messi to Luuk de Jong leading the attack, things like these should not be happening to top clubs. Bayern on the other hand really well organized, controlled the game with no problems, showed they are one of the main favorites to win it again. Hard not to be with Lewandovski, he's scored in 18 games in a row for Bayern now and is breaking all kinds of records.

It was funny to see United struggle as well, they were horrible after the Wan Bissaka red card. That Lingard backpass for the YB goal in the 95th minute was a beauty to watch Grin
That doesn't mean that Barcelona is a bad team, they are still a decent team and just because some players left doesn't mean that this result was because of that. It is Bayern they are playing against and when you are playing against Bayern then you expect to lose, there are only a few teams that could beat Bayern in the entire world, and there is no clear winner neither, just few teams at the same level.

So, it is expected for Barcelona to lose these two games against them very easily. Which also reminds me, this is more like a rebuild year for them, so it is understandable that they would not be at their best as well, they will eventually gather some more players and be better, however that may take a few years until they feel they are great again. United game was a shock to me as well, they look like a great team in the league but against YB they were really horrible.
2469  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🐒 ApeSwap partnership on: September 15, 2021, 05:36:07 PM
If the token can list in Binance, I will try to be the investor but before that, I prefer to wait and see because it still needs more development from the dev and the team. I have had a bad experience with DEX so I do not want to use DEX until now.

92% APR is good but that depends on how the price will be in the future because I tried farming or staking the other coin or token in the other platforms and the result is not good in the next few months. But still, that result of 92% can tempt people to try to farm with them. Maybe other members can tell us their experience so far so we know if that will give a good result or not.
I would say that if it gets listed on Binance and you invest after the fact, then you are going to miss out on the biggest increase. I still think it will not be listed on Binance and that is why I am not investing in it, I did once upon a time but a very tiny amount and not because I thought it would be in binance, I doubt it would even break into pancakeswap honestly.

However one thing is for sure, if you ever consider binance as a possibility for this place, you do not have to put up too much money, even if it is only like 50 bucks then you should invest before it happens. That way it will probably go 2x or even 3x as soon as it gets listed and you could profit from that. It is much easier and profitable that way, but once again I do not believe that binance will happen.
2470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 15, 2021, 04:01:43 PM
They destroyed the league so far and they achieved it without Messi and Neymar. In the goal, they don't need to use Donnarumma, the MVP in Euro 2020.

I told you Cheesy, it's not difficult to guess who will be the Ligue 1 and Bundesliga champions, their chances of winning are even more than 80% (IMO)
At least Ligue 1 had a different winner last season, surely PSG is back again and they are playing with vengeance this time around so I do not think that any other team have any chance at all this season but it is PSG so we all expected them to come back stronger.

However Bundesliga is not like that at all, they haven't had any new champions in a long time and I do not see them having one this season neither. Whenever one team keeps becoming a champion in a league, I believe that drops the strength of that league, it is never really entertaining to have the same champions over and over again, honestly breaks all the entertainment in that league for me. Whenever there is a new one, it is even better, Lille winning here last year, ATM winning over Barca and Madrid last year, all those unexpected results makes things a lot more fun if you ask me.
2471  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we say the creation of Bitcoin is an Internet of value? on: September 14, 2021, 09:23:33 PM
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, because from what I've read, there was no such thing as a blockchain before Satoshi introduced bitcoin.
You're absolutely correct that blockchain technology was introduced by Satoshi. Blockchain and Bitcoin are two different things though because Bitcoin is an application/system that uses blockchain technology.

The blockchain technology is highly rated by even bitcoin naysayers because it can be used for countless purposes.

bitcoin is just an application of a blockchain, so I'm not sure what you mean by your second sentence there.  I just came to this thread to help out a member with a post history review but started reading other posts, and man....this section is going downhill fast.
I think he means that if Bitcoin was not introduced we won't have the blockchain technology. I guess he meant something else and ended up meaning something else.

If Bitcoin didn't existed, there won't be a blockchain, If the blockchain didn't existed we wouldn't have Bitcoin. Does this make sense .. haha even I am confused now lol.
2472  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin assets cannot be blocked - is that helping terrorists? on: September 14, 2021, 11:31:08 AM
Many people think that bitcoin is used for illegal transactions from terrorists, I think this is difficult to prove, the fact until now is that many banks are willing to accept money even from illegal sources such as corruption, it has become a fact that corruptors in my country are very happy to use foreign banks to save money from corruption.
I am not sure which centralized and regulated banks are allowing the deposit of illegally acquired funds. Yes some foreign banks are allowing the deposit of money without any paperwork but the truth is that you are still under their control and at any time they might leak your information and wealth to your local government.

Bitcoins are used for many wrong things and I know because I have seen them. Not sure whether terrorists use Bitcoins or not but a lot of other illegal things are associated with Bitcoins. Some of them are:

1- Underage gambling & Porn
2- Hackers asking for BTC
3- Money Laundering
4- Tax Evasion

What's stakes stance on multiple accounts? If they use ref codes or similar I get that it's an issue but what if you don't do that but just open up 2-3 accounts to switch between?
I will tell you from my own experience and an honest answer to this.

If you have limitations on your account of any kind like sports betting amounts or any limitation on a slot game then avoid making a new account because it is categorized as evading that limitation by the creation of a new account.

If you simply play dice or any casino games and have no limits on your accounts, then I have actually seen guys admitting to having multiple accounts and having no issues at all. Some even use one "bank" account which is nowadays less common with the introduction of the vault.
2474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 14, 2021, 09:19:31 AM
I believe this has to burn more money to be able to hit bets with high multipliers, even if the bet is small as long as the capital is large enough this will play longer and the opportunities to come I think it will, because Rollbit always provides good opportunities in its games.

I play with long time but small stakes so I always find a high multiplier of 3-4x but this doesn't go beyond a multiplier of over 66.xxx but I do wish this could happen in my game.
That is something people do not think about so much. Let's assume you wager 50 cents, and in return one day you won 40k dollars, but if you wagered 80k times that means you barely broke even, so it wasn't profitable. But if you wagered 10k times then you made a good profit, still not from 50 cents to 40k, it was 5k to 40k because that is how much you spent until you got that.

If people realize that all of their losses and profits combined make the return, instead of just one bet then they would understand the situation. If you wagered 100k times, spent 50k dollars on it, and won just 30k, that means you are in 20k loss, if that 20k came from just one bet or if that came from 10000 different bets, that doesn't change anything because in the end you put in 50k and got out 30k. Which is why people need to learn to look at the bigger picture.
2475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P Crypto Trading - Which Platform Do You Use & Why? on: September 14, 2021, 08:44:50 AM
Which P2P crypto trading platform do you use and why? I'd love to know about the ones you have used and your experiences with them.

Also, I'd like to know why you choose to use P2P rather than exchanges etc.
P2P exchanges are not really my thing, at first I was making use of centralized exchanges. But then later cryptocurrency trading was banned by the central bank in my country, that’s when I had to switch to P2P trading. I know a lot of P2P exchanges, and so far I have only used two and have no plans making use of any other now because the ones I am using a working well for me.

I make use of Binance P2P and I also make use of Paxful exchange. Among the two Paxful seems to be easier for me to understand, that being that they focus only on P2P, while Binance has a lot of features and not straight to the point and that makes it a little bit hard to understand.
2476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why they get it all wrong when trading. on: September 13, 2021, 06:00:02 PM
Most often greed happens to be the killer for most traders. Some traders have good entry point , nice analysis and during the course of a trade happens to make good profit but would deliberately refuse to take profit due to greedy mind set. This emotional states would cause the trader to loose even the little profit made during this cause. I believe self dicipline as you rightly said @op is all that is needed to succeed as a trader
As traders, self discipline applies to everything we do. If you are not self disciplined then you’re lacking control and you end up making mistakes that you’re not going to like. That’s why you see a lot of traders who end up being frustrated and then they end up quitting as well.

When you’re a threat that you shouldn’t be greedy, the next thing is that you should also be ready to learn new things at all times: try to learn new things always and keep refreshing your memory. The market changes, every time we keep seeing new things coming into the market,  so you have to be able to keep up with those changes and know what’s trending. Finally is good to avoid greed.
2477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News: Ukraine has legalized Bitcoin on: September 12, 2021, 12:50:50 PM
Ukraine has legalized #Bitcoin. Really A another Good news for all the crypto communities.

What do you think some more countries will initiate for the same?
Bitcoin is already legal in lots of countries. If you check Wikipedia you’re going to see that there are lots of countries there that are marked  as countries where Bitcoin is legal, and there are places also marked as where it is illegal. So, it’s already legal in lots of countries, But we are hoping for all those countries that have banned Bitcoin too make it legal and allow their citizens to start making use of it.

Although I know that banning Bitcoin or not doesn’t really stop people from making use of it, because people can still continue to make use of Bitcoin since it is decentralized and they can’t be traced. That’s why we have P2P websites or exchanges that will help people to carry out their transactions with Bitcoin without the government or anyone looking into it, and controlling it.

I was reading the blog and found some really good articles in general and there was one with a review of the game Cash or Crash and I was shocked to see a slot having 99.59% RTP because I haven't seen a game with that kind of RTP and even originals have 1% house edge normally which I believe constitutes to around 99% RTP and a third-party slot is paying even higher than dice and crash, wow!

Going to try the slot tonight when I log in and make a deposit. I would also request you to consider adding USDT on Tron blockchain because it is pretty costly to deposit via the Trc-20 blockchain.
2479  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 12, 2021, 09:42:37 AM
I do agree that important websites should never be accessed via search engines, links on third-party sites, or email. It is always safer to enter the site's URL directly into the browser's address bar, or to navigate to it using saved bookmarks.
At a certain point in life, if you are gambling then you put it on frequently visited part on your browser. That way you just click it at the top and it goes directly to the website. If you are gambling and doing it at least semi-frequently then you just need to put it out there. Going to google each time just doesn't make sense at all. Mine are under a folder as well, a drop down menu that opens all the casinos all at once, and that way I get to gamble a lot more quicker. Obviously everyone has their own opinion on the subject of how to gamble.

However, I believe that using that top frequently visited websites thing is something that we should definitely use instead of googling the website each time.
2480  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and entertainment. on: September 11, 2021, 09:46:22 PM
it will have an impact, but we shouldn't encourage people to follow them blindly. And then most celebrities or well known people shill for projects or coins that aren't that great. They promote it because they get paid for it. They don't know jack shit about the project they are promoting. Though the affect is short term it might cause a long term damage. But yeah, at least more people will get to know about crypto currencies when they talk about it.
We literally had exactly that with Elon Musk. Dude loved bitcoin and dogecoin and promoted them to death, he kept on tweeting about it, and even though I do not use twitter I still managed to see his tweets because it was basically right there. So at the end of the day, we are talking about something that already happened. Which is why I personally hope that we get to see a lot more of good tweets if that is the only thing we are going to get, but if we are going to see bad tweets as well then I do not want the good ones neither. Famous people talking about crypto is not as good as imagined, it is something that is quite difficult to overcome when they change their mind or even simply just stop talking about it.
