2461  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: March 09, 2023, 04:20:01 PM
My Countdown to Member Rank
Number of Merit left: 9
Hi my friend Madu$11. Actually I want to help you to send some merit to you, but my question is where do I start?
you don't have to bother to help him. just look at 95% of the posts he made in the bounty section. I don't have a problem with that, because he may be in the forum just to work on the bounty. but why should he also beg for Merit in this thread? is he getting fed up with campaigns that don't pay him what he deserves?
if anyone ever gives an account like that Merit, I'm afraid he will bring his bounty account farm to this thread and share Merit to each account alt.
https://ninjastic.space/user/Madu$11

I hope our friend isn't taking this as an attack on him seeing his become the subject of the day at the moment but as constructive criticism..

But that 95% of posts made in the bounty section needs to be lowered to at least below 10% to show positive contribution towards the forum

and not just looking forward to getting paid  Tongue sends the wrong signal for new members joining the forum for the first time.

Btw before the Joker gets to hang his tennis rackets will he be cleared to play in the competition he missed out on?
2463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 08, 2023, 07:31:41 PM
Will MU try to buy him with 100millions price? That's very interesting news to be waited for.
It's possible, considering the huge contribution that Kane will make to Man United later, one of the things that makes Tottenham quite productive is Kane's presence and currently he has scored 18 goals,
I really think Kane is passed his prime and the price that they are likely to ask for is too much, besides with Eric ten Hag in the driving seat I don't think players will be bought at such exaggerated prices knowing very well that cheaper guys with good skills can be found in other leagues.

Kane should have left the club a long time ago because if he had stayed at Tottenham he would have only to will be possible to equal Alan Shaerer's record as the Premier League's top scorer but the trophy will need a miracle if he stays with his current club.
Kane missed his transfer opening way back, now his assignment objectives has changed which is the time to help the club finish strongly probably secure that top four finish as the league looms closer to its end,and should transfer talks come again Spurs will likely put a high price tag to stop the sell from happening as his services are needed more than ever!
2464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to convince my senior dad to invest in BTC on: March 08, 2023, 07:06:34 PM

Fast forward to early 2020, just before the pandemic, I started to buy BTC and I had always told my dad about this new "digital gold". He was skeptical (he's lived most of his life with FIAT and cash after all) but curious. He thought it was too risky though. Not sure why, but last week he finally told me he wanted to try it. So we setup his software wallet and he bought 0.01 BTC.
How I wish senior dad had this edge to join crypto back in the early 2020s by now he would be laughing himself all the way to the bank for the huge gain's gained from the investment...but unfortunately we cannot predict the future and live each day as it comes.

Did you manage to convince your dads or other older people in your family to buy BTC?
As much as I would love the older people around me to get into crypto, I feel this tech is better with the younger generations that can process loss better and keep up with price and the technology around it.

2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens on: March 08, 2023, 06:00:04 PM
So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

At the present time, and in times of uncertainty, fear prevails over the market, and therefore it is difficult to find real or sustainable financial flows for a period, and therefore all new currencies have a cash reserve that you use as liquidity. This liquidity leads to an increase in the currency price in the short term, but it soon ends and the currency returns to zero again.

This what will happen:

Wait until liquidity becomes available in the market and then greed will take over.
Nice illustration of what really goes on with these pump and dump schemes that involves new coins with low liquidity level's and clearly this also shows that new coins are all prone to manipulation. And what hurts the most about these is that herd mentality will always shake off strong hands and they end up giving up their positions to join in on the sells to save whatever they can.

Investing in new crypto coins and tokens can be risky because they often lack a proven track record.

If ones risk appetite is low, playing it safe is the best bet to avoid heartaches but if you are more than happy to jump in from the deep ened then you could want to try your luck with a bit of due diligence to now how solid of a project you want to commit some funds in
2467  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Volare Project Going to cheat on: March 08, 2023, 05:10:32 PM
Volare project which many bounties compaign run by Julerz now going to Scam bounty participants wisely. They given user worthless token $mvolr in whisper and after they got some community and promotion they list Volr token in bsc network.
Dont you think as a bounty participant you have acted too fast on this information, think about the investors who bought this token earlier with their hard earned money and are yet to get this token swap news, give the team the benefit of the doubt to deliver as these impementations dont just happen overnight

now when community ask for  listing of mvolr then They came up with a new method of cheating. they will lock token for 6 month and no body will be able to make profit from this tokens. more than one year of hunters has been wasted in this shit project and Julerz is one of the worst bounty manager . his 9 out of ten project proved scam. he enjoyed fee in stable coin and hunter waiting for payment more than 9 months. please take action on this.
Why do I feel this is not about the project but some kind of character assassination Roll Eyes , BTw just so you know back in the day locking of coins to figure out the way forward was common and if the project failed to find a lasting solution because of markets crashing or not reaching soft/hard cap, and if funds raised could not start off the project.. refunds were initiated to all investors that bought the tokens.

Honestly, I would say give team Volare the benefit of the doubt for now, and whats the campaign manager's position on this issue??

Sorry for the loss, but such scam will not stop unless everyone stops promoting bounty projects unless they pay in bitcoin or any altcoin listed on many platforms
The pain of being a bounty hunter is never an easy path, and unfortunately paying with their native token is the only way to cut costs unlike paying with btc or any established coin which could rise their budgets on the marketing side of things.
2468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before you buy your first bitcoin take note on: March 08, 2023, 05:01:10 PM
It's just fair enough to ourselves that we don't jump on the Bitcoin train blind just because everyone is talking about it and don't want to FOMO, let's try to be smart about this by getting the right knowledge to navigate our way around these hurdles and know how to protect our coins from mistakes of sending to the wrong person, failing to have a wallet backup and possibly prevent hackers from gaining unauthorised access to our crypto coins.

I see no reason why you should invest in bitcoin when you don't have basic knowledge about it
Agree, without the right knowledge if you lose coins all you will do is blame others which should have been your responsibility and everyone owes themselves this opportunity to learn before actual usage.
2469  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying lost wallet.dat files on: March 08, 2023, 04:17:39 PM
is it worth buying lost wallet.dat files? did anyone succeed moving funds from them?
Chances of succeeding is at odds of 0.01%, and if you do the calculations this is one big scam that probably will involve the seller showing you one old wallet address that has lots of coins and once this leaves you excited you will be willing to pay  for something you want to gamble on to get brute force access too, but we all know this kind of wallets are a dead end and we should leave it at that. Let greed not lead us into a position of getting scammed , let's out smart these scammers.
2470  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter becoming Worlds biggest Financial Institution? on: March 08, 2023, 04:08:28 PM
The owner of the social media platform Twitter said during his conference on March 7 Here, that he is optimistic for his company becoming cashflow positive. Although he didn't directly stated that he won't be integrating crypto currency, he wants his social media platform to offer powerful finance system that is more superior than PayPal.
Don't take his word for it not unless you see some financial statements, btw Cashflow positive can mean any little profit above the investment and liabilities...besides this could have been said to help push twitter market share price up.

And his take on taking on PayPal can only mean intergration of crypto into his system as it's a working project unlike starting from ground up which could turn out to be expensive and time consuming before it's up and running.

On his interview last year, he said that he slowly shifted his focus from crypto to AI, and stated that blockchain based twitter isn't possible. Due to his inconsistent behavior and doing things on a whim, we are left here thinking what crazy things he will do next. As previously, he was the one hyping about cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Doge, and SHIB.

Source: https://cryptoslate.com/elon-musk-has-ambitions-of-making-twitter-the-worlds-biggest-financial-institution/
AI seems to be the buzz word but it can not survive on its on,it needs other projects to compliment it andbif you ask me this looks like Musk throwing us off the money trail,we all know he still has his head into cryptocurrencies.
2471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think that there will be a new technology to recover lost of Bitcoin on: March 08, 2023, 03:42:09 PM
A lot of people posting that they successfully recover their funds for along time but how about those who have lost their Bitcoin?
For starters, People that manage to recover their coins either use passwords that could be brute forced or have a few words to complete a mnemonic and find the missing piece... otherwise not everyone gets lucky and if you have no private key to a wallet these coins will be lost forever unless the key is found/used.

Is it possible in the future that there will be a technology that is specialized in recovering lost in just a matter of minutes or an hour?
Brute forcing is one such technology but success rates are still low, but either way I don't see such a technology which will be used to crack open people's wallets at will as this could make crypto unattractive to many and hope this doesn't happen.

But on the other side Bitcoin holder are in trouble too as their funds might also be vulnerable and be compromise.
Please more answer to do this please.
If someone will be considering holding coins for a long time, proper backup solutions need to be used so as not to be locked out or be in trouble as you have put it .
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 03:10:58 PM
I have had a similar experience when it came to sport's betting were the sportsbook had predefined amounts and unknowingly I clicked on this thinking I had input a smaller amount for my wager only to lose my money, though sometimes I have been lucky enough as this as turned out to be winners for me... Sometimes it's an issue of duplicate bets, you think you placed on wager on a selection of games but when you go back to your history you have more than one betslip with the same teams and you win on somedays and lose on others...I don't even bother complaining to the bookies.

Hope am not too late for this one, but I believe most of us here observe the International Women's day

and just wanted us to join the world in commemorating this day for the womenfolk.

Remember reading a quote by Margaret Fuller which reads out as “If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.” Applying this message to the world of crypto lets spread the word and help people know financial freedom does exist , lets not keep this knowledge to ourselves.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY 2023

Not seeing my name in the spreadsheet made me panic a bit but thanks for hiding our answers while waiting for our opposition.  Cheesy

Iirc my score should be 1-1 atm as I remember picking Dortmund to advance and i'm 50% sure I picked 2-3 SOTs for the Brugge question.

I could have sworn that I have a 1-0 over my opponent because I checked after the match had ended after about 5 minutes, and it was still recorded as a single shot on goal for Club Brugge, but I had to check again after reading your comment to find it's actually 2 shots on goal,  I'm still trying to find the second shot that was counted as on target, because even before their goal, they had zero shots on target, I want to believe to they reviewed every shot later on to decide which should be awarded as on target or not.
All Club Brugges shots on goal came after the 80th minute, with the first been what lead to the first goal around the 86th minute (recorded as the 87th minute goal) and their final shot on goal came right after the 90th minute in added time making it 2.

Cro2 never disappoints when bringing in the questions out to play ,great job Roll Eyes
2475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: March 08, 2023, 02:09:10 AM
Tether has never had the best of starts as a cryptocurrency and the fact that it's centralised does give me the goosebumps but I think it's the risk most are willing to take to keep a 1:1 value for our money as it's a stablecoin.

Btw talking of trust, trust is something that doesn't come easy these days and I wouldn't toss it around that easily either not for any crypto coin...

Unlike other stablecoins, usdt is a fairly profitable asset and provides real opportunities for keeping your funds on the blockchain.  I personally use trc20.  It also makes it easier for me to trade with ETS and cash out profitably.
Tron based tokens have always been my favourite, the fees are super low and block times are just superb better than Bitcoin which can make you wait for several hours before getting your first confirmation.
2476  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: March 08, 2023, 01:07:16 AM
While growing up things were quite easy, an I also know that life was also easy for the common man,
If you think about it ,back in the day resources were plenty to go around for everyone but populations have grown and the process has turned out to be a competition to fight for the few limited resources out there...

not until 2018 that things start changing for the worst, from then till now the rate at which inflation have struck my country to an all time high is so alarming.
Unfortunately things like inflation are influenced by external factors beyond an individuals control and also how stable a countries political, technological influence is on an economy and it's people.

Everyday price of things keeps on changing but the salaries of a civil servants still remain the same, the money that we use too feed from, buy water, pay rent, pay for light an even save from, now it can't even service our monthly needs for even half of the month.
The best way to survive low salaries is not to rely on one stream of income, try getting into other side hustles to help supplement the salary to make life much easier financially.

Most times I feel for people that have many children because too get basic needs in today's economy is very difficult,
Issue of kids..well If people are going to have tons of kid's it means they have the resources to take care of them, if not it's unfair to put your responsibility on others who know that they need to live within their means chose to be ignorant about it, let's take responsibility for our actions...hope am not stepping on people's toes.

Quote
How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans?
If your hands are tied and you do not have another source of funds that can help you sort out whatever pressing issues you have at hand...then sell those coins you don't owe anybody any explanation why you are doing so, besides you can always get back at the same position as you left by buying new coins at a later date!

There is no difference, none, Please! it is basically the same thing, managing daily responsibilities, these types of questions seem to come from people who have never managed a budget, income.
This just gave me an idea, maybe some budget lessons need to be put somewhere around the forum to put these questions to  bed Roll Eyes

An investment never has those kinds of priorities, NO!.  that is, emergency.
My thoughts exactly, if an emergency comes you act on it immediately and the best way to not be caught unaware is to have some kind of emergency funds stored somewhere or use your insurance or overdraft facility with your bank.

An investment is a purchase contingent on waiting for a return, if it didn't happen, so, It doesn't matter, but if you start to "cry". Then meant is took money that I shouldn't have to investiment, it's that simple.

You learn from situations like it, just try again, bitcoin is always there for new investment.
I think people think bitcoin is a one get rich quick scheme and people want to put in money today, and tomorrow are ready to withdraw a hundredfold, this is an investment we need to treat it as such and accept retains could take some time before maturing.

Wow Chelsea finally won a game convincingly against a Dortmund side I thought will easily see off the Blues... Honestly this is a shocker for me, is this because of their fans or Potter finally understands his team and has got back to winning ways... I guess with such performances coming his job is no longer on the line after a bad spell he experienced.

I already expected Benfica to have an easy game and they did.
Benfica had a great game last time out away from home, now imagine coming to play in front of your home fans.. It was going to be a massacre for the visiting team and the delivered a solid performance and were unlucky to concede with such a good scoreline.
2480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 05:14:47 PM
There are two matches today. The first one will be benfica-club brugge. Benfica won the first match 2-0. Since they will take the field with the comfort of this, they will be the side that will skip the round. Since I don't think they will be defeated in this match, the round seems easy for them.
Benfica really outplayed club brugge in the first leg and am expecting the same result to happen especially that this time around they will have their fans come in numbers to see to it that they get the job done to make it to the next round . Tbh going down by 2 goals isn't much of a big margin but I see this game having the Portuguese side scoring 3 goals or so just to ensure that they keep a clean sheet and have its strikers challenge for the golden boot.

Chelsea-Dortmund match is more important than the other match. The first match dortmund won 1-0 at home but chelsea didn't play badly. This time chelsea will host dortmund at home. I think Chelsea will win, but I don't know if it will be enough to advance.
Chelsea are still trying to find themselves the won't pose much of a threat against Dortmund who are in a much better form, best bet here should be under 2.5 goals.
