Since you applied in my signature campaign thread, I feel I should reply here. I went through your last 40 posts, which are almost exclusively related to this thread, applying to campaigns, posting txids to get accelerated, selling email accounts, and applying for another loan. Needless to say, this is not what I'm looking for in my signature campaign, so you can't use my campaign to pay back your loans. From your post history: By Undertaking my Old Reputation and activity . Atleast give me a chance . I am not trying to Scam. I already explained that I don't have an income source to repay, SO I am asking for 0.10 so that i can use those funds to build some income source and make myself eligible to repay this loan and Old loan too. Filling one loan with the next one is something only governments can keep up. To be honest, as a lender, this is better than a user that just defaults and disappear. I say give him the chance.
It's not the first time he defaults on a loan. While checking his account, I noticed letyouearn2 is his alt-account. Trust: -4: -2 / +0, for defaulting on a loan. Proof it's his alt: here ( archived). For security , the signature campaign receiving address will be of any trusted escrow ,so that he can receive all my earnings of signature campaign and collect the repayment amount.
This is a lie: you applied for the signature campaign with address 1A7RdYVo6rVmPXLHeeHqnTym7otCNmCDPb. This address is used in the profiles of both letyouearn and letyouearn2 (all links related to this lie are archived). You deserve dark red trust.

1) How do I properly make the transaction and move it from the offline computer to the online computer? I hate to say "idk", but I'm very interested to know if this is possible. As far as I know this setup can work with Electrum: create a transaction using the online watch-only wallet, sign the transaction on the offline full wallet, then broadcast it from the online computer. You can use a QR-code or USB-stick to transfer the data. I'm actually considering switching from Bitcoin Core to Electrum just to be able to do this, so it would be great if it's possible from Bitcoin Core. 2) How can I set the online wallet to act as a watch only address? Help > Debug window > Console > enter: importaddress 1LoyceVsaddy "this is the label to show" "false" The "false" prevents a slow complete rescan, you can use this as long as the address doesn't have any balance before adding it. 3) Is there a way to set the offline node as "offline" so it stops trying to sync the blockchain? Simply click the connection-icon in Bitcoin Core (bottom-right corner) to disable network activity.

is there anything i can do about it or is it gone forever ?
Bitcon transactions can't be reversed, so no, there's nothing you can do to get it back. Most likely your computer got compromised, that means you can't trust your computer again until you clean it. Once your computer is clean again, you can choose a new Bitcoin wallet. This thread is a good place to start: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why? Good luck!

I'll keep a public blacklist. This doesn't mean you're a bad person, it doesn't mean you post only bad posts, but it means I don't want to spend time checking your post history again, as I don't expect you'll ever qualify. It's just a waste of my time to check the post history again. Don't send me a PM asking me for the reason. You're rejected because of your post history. Accept my decision. I will not spend extra time going over the same posts again to explain it to you, especially if you don't even bother to read what I just wrote. I am also not your personal teacher: if you can't figure out how to improve your posts on your own, I don't think you can improve. People on this blacklist will not be allowed to join any of my future campaigns. If SMAS is interested in the future, I'll gladly combine my blacklist with their blacklist. Many people join, even though they haven't made a single post that would qualify for this campaign in a very long time. Not reading the rules of a campaign is a very good indication that those people don't care what they post on the forum. Reading the rules is also part of my selection procedure, if someone applies without reading, that means he's just wasting my time and gets rejected. If you mainly use your account for giveaways and bounties, you're not what I'm looking for in a campaign. It's even more likely it's one of many alt-accounts. I don't add everybody who's rejected to my blacklist. I may accept some of the rejected users in the future. One person even applied twice to a campaign, that's such a waste of my time. Many people apply to 3 different campaigns at the same time, and apparently can't wait for 2 days without being paid. This lack of loyalty means I don't pick them. I also don't appreciate the many people sending me a PM asking about their application. If you want to PM me, do it before applying! After applying, you're just adding to my work load by basically doubling your entries. I'm currently managing a signature campaign that allows Member-users to join. Most of them are just used to spam, farm, and only post when they have a signature campaign. I think I've rejected at least 95% of these. Most of them are just farmed accounts, many from Indonesia, waiting to be paid to spam the forum. Many people stop posting the second their last signature campaign ended, and then for weeks in a row only posts trying to apply to other campaigns. That means they're using the forum as an ATM, not as a forum, and they probably have many more accounts doing the same. That's not what I'm looking for in a campaign participant. One person removed his signature after he was accepted, without notifying me. This behaviour got him blacklisted from all my future campaigns. If you decide to switch to another campaign, it's highly appreciated if you strike out your application. Campaign managers are humans, not robots. Don't waste my time. well , i tryed my first bets with BKB tokens but it eat the BKB very fast , startamount of 1 token is a little high to start with , maybe you can change it to 0.1 or even lower?
If $.10 is too much for you, perhaps you shouldn't be gambling. Many people love gambling on auto pilot, starting from small amounts. If, for example, you're playing at 12% odds and 14% increase on loss, your bankroll has to be much higher than your starting bet, and if your bankroll is $100, a $0.10 starting bet means it's very likely you'll bust fast.

The Bitcoin Core wallet (and most other wallets) have this thing called the keypool. The keypool is just several (Bitcoin Core defaults to 1000) keys and their addresses that are pregenerated. As far as I know, the default used to be 100 addresses, not 1000. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin : -keypool=<n> Set key pool size to <n> (default: 100) My current Bitcoin Core 0.15.1: -keypool=<n> Set key pool size to <n> (default: 1000) It seems recent versions use a larger default keypool, but it's something to keep in mind in case you're running an older version. Is there any command that will give me the amount of used keys from the keypool? I don't know if i have passed 1000 yet or not. Click Help > Debug window > Console > enter getwalletinfo Mine says: The keypool gets refilled up to 1000 every time you unlock the wallet with your passphrase. My 998 means I've used 2 addresses since the last time I unlocked it. What happens when you pass 1000 then? can I keep using the same wallet.dat file because it will automatically create another keypool inside the same file so it generates batches of 1000 each time you use 1000? how many keypools can be generated? Its not clear to me how this works. I never updated to HD wallet so im using the same old wallet.dat for ages, im worried in case there is any problems if I pass 1000 addresses.
Let's take my wallet as an example. If I make a backup now, my backup holds the private keys to 998 unused addresses. My wallet has no problem creating more addresses, suppose I receive payments to 1200 new unique addresses. That will work just fine, my keypool gets refilled up to 1000 each time I unlock my wallet. But, all payments I receive to the last 202 addresses, won't be included in my current backup! For this reason it's important to make a new backup once in a while. I do it often enough to be absolutely sure I don't get close to using the entire 1000 addresses in my keypool. (in reality I do it more like every 10 addresses already, you can never have enough backups) Note that changing or setting a password also flushes your keypool (for security reasons), and requires you to make a new backup.

After this I forget my bitcoin and my wallet. Did you try to start your old wallet before upgrading? If so, what did it show? Installing new 1.5 version, specifying olds database folder and executing the app from batch: BitCoin-qt.exe -datadir=d:\BitCoinData The latest version of Bitcoin Core is version 0.15.1. If you have version 1.5, what exactly did you download? Now, after many days of processing, bircoinqt rebuild block chain, but my wallet is empty.... And there is no trace of my old transaction... Are you sure it used your old wallet.dat file? Or could it be it created a new wallet? Just to be sure: did you make a backup of your wallet (wallet.dat) before upgrading?

~ he obviously doesn't know what it is but he is interested in investment..... First: it's a bad idea to invest in anything you don't know about. Did you get him interested by telling him how much it went up in value, or did you also tell him it can easily drop 90%? ^ Thanks, but is there a way to not use paper wallet. You're talking about your grandparents. They have a slow computer, and they're "old people". Something tangible will be much easier to comprehend than "there's this website were you can log in to see your Bitcoins". When in doubt, take the simplest solution. Do they use smartphones? A paper wallet can easily be redeemed from a smartphone, so they don't depend on you to do so.

She told me 180GB is my cap.
If you also downloaded other data, it's possible you've hit your limit. If it's a monthly limit, just continue next month. Once your blockchain is up to date, it will only download few GB per month.

Another update: I have now reviewed all applications. Anybody who has not been accepted in either of my 2 posts, has been rejected. Please accept my decision, no need to PM me about it. I will not go over your post history again just to explain to you why it's bad. I've tried it, and it got denied anyway. That also means it'll never improve. You have some short posts that won't be paid. If you're okay with that, you're accepted. Please do not make those short posts longer, that would just turn good short posts into spam posts. You'll be paid for the posts that are worth it.

None of those addresses work for me/ aren't what i'm looking for. You should have sent me the addresses first so i could see if they work for me instead of sending me the private key right away. Can you explain what you're looking for? Are you looking for addresses that used to have a high balance? Maybe I (or someone else) should start a new similar thread with better rewards so that people have more than one option where to sell their used addresses there are some coin devs distributing/airdroping their coins to btc holder based on certain blockchain snapshot so an address may worth more by claiming more than one airdrop I'm thinking about sharing 60-40 or 70-30 ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) for whatever the address worth how about that... anyone interested? If so, I'll start one ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I'm all for competition, so go ahead! Transparancy is much appreciated too, I used to have a thread that shares the Byteball airdrop. Because of my transparancy, most people who saw the thread went on their own. I've also seen several threads now of people looking for old addresses for tax purposes: "prove" they used to have a high balance a few years back, so they can "explain" the capital gain. Whatever reason it is, it helps if you explain in details what you're looking for.

From this post onwards, this campaign is closed for Member-accounts. I might reopen it later, once more mature accounts have joined. For now I see way too much farmed accounts join, those accounts only wake up to join a signature campaign.
If you apply with a Member-account after this post, I will delete your entry.

We are on the same boat.
From 1337 > 0.025 > 0.00
Yesterday it was still .025 but today 0.00. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) They pulled the same on me! They must really hate having any customers left! I posted this in another thread about Bittrex: I don't want to send personal information to a company that doesn't even show who's behind it. I didn't care much before, but after I click ABOUT, I get this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs18.postimg.org%2Fv5kx77qc9%2Fimage.gif&t=663&c=c9vIPz9h51Clow) This must be the worst "about" information ever typed on any website! Under that, they show this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs18.postimg.org%2F5msku7ei1%2Fimage.gif&t=663&c=FgYf7S0mo3fx_A) Now I still don't know who they are. I don't want to send them a selfie and an unedited copy of my passport (which is something my government warns against!). It seems like they're just trying to see what they can get away with, many people with small balances will let it slide, which is pure profit for them. I have funds in there, from LoyceV's Hero Small 10 Month Person 10 Altcoin Investment Experiment. I have 8.5 months left before I need to withdraw, so I'll wait a bit and see how this develops.

I'm guessing my service "Comcast" doesn't allow it or I have some restrictions. One way or another, it's not Bitcoin Core that shut down your internet. You could try VPN, see what they do to that. But isn't it more likely they disconnected you because of your bandwidth usage? Bitcoin Core downloads about 150GB when you first start it. I know my ISP doesn't care, but some have restrictions.

Why would you be doing a campaign managers job for free ? Let's see how long his service will last. I stumbled upon INRI666 when he posted in ChipMixer's Signature Campaign thread. He found a good example of a bad post, but he also crossposts the same post in this thread, and bumped this thread many times today. I'd say this service has potential, but needs some fine tuning.

I see it. But how do I choose any of them? I see the list, but there is no button to select them. I can get the cursus on them an click on them, but then still in the receiving tab the old address is listed. How can I select any of the addresses in the list? And is it safe to use any of them, even if they have been used before possibly in the past?
Just copy an address, and give it a label: "used for site X". It's safe to reuse addresses, but not recommended for privacy.

There is not currently any BTC in the wallet minus a few hundred satoshis:
Well 172,000 satoshis or about $14 dollars at today's price. The transaction history doesn't seem to suggest that the address is regularly swept as many sites do, so that's likely to be all that is there. You're wrong here: OP says "Ill give a 1/5 of the amount to the one who is able to assist not much I think in amount of 0.08BTC or 0.1 BTC". That leads me to believe there's 0.4 to 0.5 BTC in his account. On 2017-08-12 he deposited 0.01953317 BTC On 2017-08-11 he deposited 0.48 BTC, and at the same day he also deposited 0.49411783 BTC. Now if I assume this is an exchange, it could very well be OP has 0.5 BTC left in his account on the exchange. It doesn't matter how much this address holds, that's irrelevant when it's an exchange. I think mocacinno is on to something here: If you manage to identify one of these 237.000 addresses, you'll find the owner of the wallet... You can use google, or the searchfunction of this forum... with so many addresses, there is a big chance of finding a match. I assume most of those 237.000 addresses are customer's deposit addresses. If you find a customer, you find the exchange! But, mrpunxs, isn't it easier if you think really hard which services you used in August this year? Is it an exchange or a casino? There aren't that many large sites, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find it. If you see their website, do you think you'll recognize it? And, next question, how will you reclaim access after you've found the website? Do you think you can recover your account from your email address, or do you still know a password to log in?
