2481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to trade your Bitcoin on: February 16, 2023, 03:33:04 PM
Please my fellow friends fans and family I greet everyone in this  house. I am new year I hope I am welcome. I need more update about Bitcoin how to invest in Bitcoin how to trade with it

you can earn bitcoin here with some few tips https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1629118.0 while making an investment needed you to get an exchange where your fiat can be use to secure a particular amount of bitcoin rate and have your asset well reserved on your wallet which is a decentralized one, hold it by not selling for about two to four years and then sell whenever you see the price rises than your purchasing rate or value, trading is by p2p as well and all you needed is to go through the same procedures in buying for selling it, you can learn more about trading by reading threads on the speculation board and bitcoin discussion.
2482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen in a deflationary hoarding scenario? on: February 16, 2023, 03:10:03 PM
Since Bitcoin is by definition, deflationary, because it has a limited supply, it will supposedly have more purchasing power over time (assuming good adoption and acceptance of bitcoin). Bitcoin is limited to 21mil forever. I quote from the course,

Quote
Many economists argue that a deflationary economy is a disaster that should be avoided at all costs. That is because in a period of rapid deflation, people tend to hoard money instead of spending it, hoping that prices will fall. Such a phenomenon unfolded during Japan's "Lost Decade," when a complete collapse of demand pushed the currency into a deflationary spiral.

Your first mistake here is without providing a link to this aspect quoted by you, this will give us proper check in understanding the right channel the author was addressing wjen saying that that a reflationary economy is a disaster, ours here is a digitally decentralized network with bitcoin and it was not stated that bitcoin is what was being referred to here nor a digital economy, the word deflationary can be used on different contexts, the reason why i said you would have provided the link for referencing this article you posted.

Now what would happen if people did start suddenly hoarding?

Have you even consider the fact that bitcoin is a currency anyone can spend digitally, which means the global distribution of bitcoin isn't limited to a certain place or some caliber of people, there will also be a demand and supply as long as it existed, those hoarding won't do that for life, they more they release the lower the price the higher the demand which will also geared up the price to surge higher as the demand increases.
2483  Economy / Reputation / Re: First Bitcoin earning (Signature) on: February 15, 2023, 02:35:16 PM

I am a Bitcoin holder, which I bought on different occasions and for different purposes, and which I am also holding in different wallets.  This is my first Bitcoin payment that I have received since learning about crypto. I have received other forms of crypto payment though. I'm just happy about this, and to me, it's worth celebrating.

I am most happy to see that you are collecting bitcoins.  Accumulating bitcoins is very patient work if you can keep it for a long time and you will get benefits from here.  Or do another thing you can trade with your bitcoins which will help you collect more bitcoins.  Currently bitcoin market is fluctuating between 20k to 25k so it is good time to trade.  You can prefer either of the two jobs long time hold or trade.

OP haven't seen anything yet, let him continue to grow and get himself more acquainted to the whole system for more amazing results ahead, but he must nevwr forget that the more he goes the higher the expectations from him is required, bitcoin has alot of benefits in many ways both financially and in information technology, we keep on learning while the best way to have bitcoin is to earn it by the values we offer.

I believe that everyone has a unique way of making their full expression for others to benefit regardless of how it may looks or sounds, I've been opportuned on having encounters with JayJuanGee on discussion threads and i have seen nothing but a perfection of expression in taughts whenever he post, the punctuality is there, the accuracy and diversification as well from one thread to another not to talk of the meriting pattern, i think we've all got alot to learn from great personalities in the likes of JayJuanGee among others on this forum.
2485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: February 15, 2023, 02:04:24 PM
Still on the matter with El-Savador and IMF, they made a fresh declaration that bitcoin and it's risk is yet to materialize in El-Savador https://twitter.com/nayibbukele/status/1624478306769797121?t=ysyyvp24ZGttCYYjWabNAQ&s=19 to me they have expected from El-Savador to have grown or shown evidently to the world the danger or risk it has behold from its bitcoin adoption but still yet, nothing is coming up in this regard, which means the image from which the IMF are viewing the bitcoin adoption is from a wrong perspective with El-Savador despite it's countless times warning, this is really encouraging because El-Savador is giving alot of taughts on this, the decision is theirs and not IMF, you take charge and bear full responsibilities for your actions, but the risk associated with fiat monetary system and central authorities which they have with banks has all these years been materialized which is the reason we needed to be more careful with banks while embracing the decentralized network with bitcoin adoption.

It seems to me that sometimes it will seem that concessions are being made, and some of the global financial players are realizing that their direct attacks are not convincing, so they have to work behind the scenes to continue to sabotage and to provide disadvantages to try to undermine El Salvador, if they are able to do it.  Yeah, and maybe indirect and subtle attacks are better than some of the direct attacks.. and surely the IMF/World Bank and outside financial/government institutions are waiting for an opportunity to pounce in the event that El Salvador screws up in their use/transition into greater and greater adoptions/building of bitcoin in their country and El Salvador's ongoing attempts to demonstrate models for other similarly situated poor countries.

Let the adoption continues not only in El-Savador but the whole world and they cannot make any influence on this decentralized digital network of bitcoin, it's excites me better seing that nothing can pull the trigger to hinder the overall adoption no matter how harder they attempted becau the whole network is already well secured with walls of protocols sorrounding it, i also admire El-Savador such a way that despite the distractions all-around it never got carried away by their threat against it decision, all they want is for El-Savador never to see this rare opportunity no matter how small, that can make it free from the hands of indebtedness with central authorities like the IMF and other governments interferances.
2486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible, what can I do to achieve it? - (For personal research) - on: February 14, 2023, 09:10:58 PM
So what I want to talk about today is, those countries who legalize bitcoin and crypto. What was their first push?  What led them to legalize crypto. Is it totally depended on Government decision or some individuals can convince the Government to do it?

The beginning of interest on cryptocurrency begins with the introduction of bitcoin being the first decentralized digital currency before other cryptocurrencies begin to come up whch were centralized, also we have many countries that legalizes cryptocurrencies but we only have two countries that have bitcoin as a legal tender which is El-Savador and Central African Republic, no country had ever made any other cryptos a legal tender, to cap it all, bitcoin is the force that drive them because it's been decentralized and serve a newly different introduced system of currency and payment in a convinient way and the government never encourage this from the start.
2487  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: February 14, 2023, 08:52:31 PM
When you're leaving by a low income earnings and have a low budgets plan for your living expenses then we can assume ou to have balance the means, but many people don't know how they can make this a reality by adjusting their normal lifestyle to the level of their income capacity, it affects that making a savings because hard and unbearable when the needs arising is more than the income budget plan, that is it is also encouraged that one cannstart in a low budget area to gather up resources in other to meet up by having low expenditures or cost of living to say.
2488  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: February 14, 2023, 08:32:36 PM
There's nothing being wasted in making some savings except if what you're actually saving is not worth it, this now channels us further in understanding the difference between investment and liability, we must understand the broad difference that what ever thing we are going for that does not have a second hand value, future value shouldn't be our target because it will cost olus more at the process when trying to secure a room for its profitability, we should invest on something that will appreciate in value over time.
2489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ego and too much confidence are dangerous in investing. on: February 13, 2023, 04:33:06 PM
2021 I started my journey here in crypto, I was lucky because I was able to invest in other cryptos before it went all the way up. NFTs, P2E games, airdrops and hyped shitcoins lol. Of course I earned a lot and since it's my first time I became very confident thinking I'm so smart lol Grin. I have more money to spare, so I end up investing left and right carelessly thinking i will earn more but the truth is majority of those i have invested are lost money because of bear market, scam projects and rugpulled shitcoins. I think I am not for crypto Sad.

Sometimes you don't know what you wanted being a newbie and instead of you to first take time to learn and understand the whole thing about cryptocurrency you hasten yourself to invest on a crutial rush and those altcoins invested on were most fake projects, we ourselves sometimes approach cryptocurrency with the view of a ponzi schemes and this makes people to always find it easy to fall a trap by investing on shady coins or tokens and later after some years they realizes the mistake they had done from the start, must we continue to learn from our mistakes, or we should learn from others' mistakes.
2490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 13, 2023, 04:19:17 PM
If you asked me over and over again i will always have answers to provide you with the reasons why am always interested in bitcoin, I don't want to continue anymore with the fiat institutionization, i need to have control over my finance, i need to have a better experience in making transactions and payment with anything to deter me, i need a lesser transaction fee, i also need my privacy to be secured from central authorities or third parties.

2492  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe racism has come to stay!! ? on: February 12, 2023, 07:03:07 PM
There's no where in the world where you can see racism been allowed to be practiced by the people because it causes disunity among people and this is one of theeans that engenders crisis and discomfort among people, living peaceful is wjat should be our utmost concern with everyone that surrounded us regardless of their religion, colour or race, we must fight against himan segregation and differentiation which further birth what we now called racism.
2493  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: February 12, 2023, 06:58:02 PM
The popularity of crypto currencies has been on the rise in recent years and many people are drawn to them as a means to achieveing goal of financial freedom.
Additionally, the decentralization and global nature of crypto currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and others, have made them an attractive option for those who want to take control their financial future and want to avoid traditional banks and financial institutions. They can also provide hedge against inflation and currency devaluation.

Given these factors, the dream of financial freedom can come true by using crypto currency?

You can achieve having a financial breakthrough in cryptocurrency but i must be precise and frank here that it has a way or procedures to having it, first thing in mind to always remember is on the type of digital currency one is choosing, i believe not all the cryptocurrencies were allowed or happens to be a good source of an investment since many has scammed people and carted away their funds, we mist know the kind of digital investment we are heading for, bitcoin has always been a good recommendation for people to have a start, we must also do enough thorough research on them before investing, because any mistake or error will lead to lose of funds that cannot be recoverable, which is why we also need to understand the risk associated.
2494  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of global recession is real or just a speculation? on: February 12, 2023, 06:51:24 PM
If one has ever experienced a recession before, then it will never be an interesting occurrence one can pray for it reoccurrence because many things would have gone bad with the economy leaving it vulnerable for years before going back to normal, we all need to be mindful of how we operate our local, national and global economy to an optimum standard by tackling inflation first and finding means to end natural disasters that could serves a threat to world economy due to pandemics, almost all the giant economy of the world have been affected by last year inflation and recession was set at the beem, but we can start something new today by putting resources together against having such experience again because it's real and has many consequences if care is not taken.
2495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why does celebrity marriage frequently end in divorce?  on: February 12, 2023, 06:36:46 PM
Talking about celebrities and their marital lives, it's something with an unending story itself because they always find their relationship a complicated one, they also never reason to why this has always been the norms for them by sitting to think on possible causes to having a heartbroken relationship or marriages, each party feels they were always right and can't bend to the rules in marriage, another one is that they both think they have money and thereby can't leave under any inconvenience lifestyle with their partners, pride and unforgiven spirit all constitute to having a broken marriage or relationships, no one want to be submitted to each other or ready to bend down their rules for each other in other to make peace.
2496  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Must Politics involves bloodshed? on: February 12, 2023, 06:16:12 PM
If we are to look into politics of nowadays, we will see that they needed to be reoriented to those involved in it because it has not been practiced the way it was meant to be, it's all about giving to the society and humanity in general, one has to develop this interest to fight for onbehalf of others, politics is not a ground for battle field nor is it a means to begin the creation of hatred against each other all in the name of interest, should we feel secured in the hands of those that doesn't mind shedding bloods for them to emerge their political ambition and expect things to be alright when they got in, the whole system needs to be checked upon from time to time to ensure its not working against the society.
2497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: reasons why someone wants to pay in tether and not bitcoin? on: February 11, 2023, 03:22:26 PM
What could be the reason for someone wanting to pay in Tether and not bitcoin?

my understanding is that using bitcoin, you will not have to worry about your crypto being frozen.

Could there be any reason for tether being advantageous in such transaction?

Why should your fund got frozen with making payments in bitcoin when you're not sending on a wrong adreess or double spending, the only reason i cannsee to having this kind of preference for tether instead of bitcoin is when what you have is tether and you wouldn't want to have a drop in your balance to affect the rate you're sending due to transaction charges, so most people only prefer one coin against the other because of their charges fee when sending or converting them.
2498  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discrimination against bounty hunters on: February 10, 2023, 01:47:54 PM
Although I am not a bounty hunter and I don't think I will be one at least for now but a thorough observation reveals to me that bounty hunters and those who post in altcoins are being considered as unserious fellows. The baffling thing is that the managers (mostly high rank members) who bring the work (bounty) received praises and merits but on the other hand, the participants (mostly low ranking members) who participates in the bounties are being regarded as a non serious members and money mongers.

Let me be frank with you here that you're wrong from the perspective of how you're addressing this, show me one bounty hunter who has good profile on his post history that never get merited and i will admit then that you're right, wjen it's been said that most of them were spammers doesn't mean all were, if you also consider them to be most newbies, they just created account and rush up to join bounties which you dare not try that with signature campaign.

You can't obviously accept a participant that has no good profile to advertise your campaign and work with you, they may be inactive, spammers, trollers or even scammers, as a matter of fact, they also have their respective rules which if you can't afford it's not by force, all what every campaign manager would wanted is a good and active user profile that has interesting contributions, have you ever asked this question as well that why do bounties hunters always have nothing on their profiles than bounty threads?

This is purely hypocrisy!

No, you'd better not be sentimented about this, participating in campaigns is not a right, it's a choice likewise the manager decides who to work with him and not, so don't try to create being bias either.
2499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: February 10, 2023, 11:37:57 AM
We know bitcoin to have similarities with other valuable assets but what makes it different and outstanding among them is it's ability to withstand the influence of news on a macroeconomics monetary and financial level, bitcoin also in other vein does not work in line with inflation in the same economic system, being an asset and a digital currency, bitcoin has more profitability than other forms of asset in values as of recent, here is what the Fed had to say concerning bitcoin.

Miss Salvador Bitcoin Universe '22

EI Salvador not only ended up recognizing Bitcoin as legal tender but also played a strategic role in how to introduce Bitcoin to the world. EI Salvador's people did not accept Bitcoin easily at first, but now people are holding various colorful events around Bitcoin. Last year at the 71st Miss Universe National Custome Show 2022, a beautiful young woman named Alejandra Guajardo made the event more interesting by wearing a dress with bitcoins and informed the people of Salvador about the importance of bitcoins.

2500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Users have to notice, before joining any Crypto activity on: February 09, 2023, 04:38:36 PM
Today information is specifically for new users and is also implemented for experienced users. As we have seen recently(in 2022) there were some crashes that happen, which affect the whole crypto wold. There were two most effective crashes:
1)LUNA Crash
2)FTX Crash

It would have been more better if every newbies coming on board were first landing here before going to other platforms that may mislead them into other investment aside the ones that have low risk like bitcoin, don't be surprised that some were yet to know about this two events of last year, the more reasons we emphasizes on learning ground first for newbies and made bitcoin the first recommendation, imagine going through other exchanges, they may not inform them about the risk but first lure them to invest on their scam tokens or fake projects.
