2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: August 14, 2017, 07:11:47 PM
Apart from his time and money almost being spent at the casino at all times, Gamblers are always talking about hitting it very big very soon, they have the optimism that their time is coming very soon and you may notice that they like to borrow money from their friends and family just to gamble. They waste their monies and other people's money to gamble.

Such beliefs ( luck will come soon ) that make people always come to gambling places. The promises which gambling offers are more interesting than the fact that if we are wrong in treating gambling, we can fall apart.
2482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get BCH free on: August 14, 2017, 11:31:23 AM

Would you buy bitcoin to get BCH guys? .. share your opinion guys

We won't get bch if we bought btc today. It's a bit too late. But if you ask me whether I will buy BCH now, the answer is no. But if someday the price will move down to around 50 USD or even lower, maybe I will consider to buy some of it.
2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: August 14, 2017, 10:59:36 AM
My favorite game has been and will remain as soccer because just the surest way to win. In that some games are just sure to be won irrespective of the odds no matter how low it is. I also don't have to disturb myself with unnecessary analysis. I just place the bet on the ones I am most sure, then I check back later to see that it has been delivered and I cash out my winnings as simple as that. No stress.

Betting on low odds will definitely give us a better chance to win the game. But the money we get will be very small if we compared it with the money we bet on. And don't forget, even the lowest odds can lose too. It's very common to see for example a very strong team to lose the game against the weakest one. A single lost at low odds needs more wins to cover it.
2484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: August 14, 2017, 07:12:20 AM
Trading especially with bitcoin should be better if we looked into the prices trend. It increases from time to time. But for sure we need good amount of money if we wanted to get better profit from trading.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 13, 2017, 08:29:16 PM
I don't think so...
being a gamble I don't work any harmful work against any human being. so I don't feel ashamed. when someone does any harmful activities which lead suffering to anyone then that people might be ashamed.
You are right, I don't know why few of people feel shameful for being a gambler. I don't see that this activity is shameful, because we didn't do anything bad to anyone, so it's OK to be a gambler.

Maybe, we can feel shame when we gamble with people money. Personally i didn't do that. I just play with my own money, and i feel good to do that.

In some countries gambling is an illegal action. And I am sure, when people got caught doing illegal things, they would be embarrassed no matter whether they use their own money or someone else money.
2486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When to sell on: August 13, 2017, 06:32:38 PM
It will vary from person to person but for me, I will sell when I already got good return from my initial investment. Then waiting for the price to go down to pick the best time to buy it again.
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: August 13, 2017, 05:37:32 PM
First I would ask myself how the casino earn money at all. It incur constantly costs through hosting, server, electricity, maintenance, further development etc. If the operator does not have a responsive answer why it does not charge any edge, then I would be very skeptical. There are quite business models that you can connect with 0% Edge, but whether these are really profitable in the long term, I doubt. I would stay away.
A gambling house might be having more other options to earn like offering VIP membership/withdraw fees/showing advertisements etc. But none of them will get more income how house edge is doing. But I am sure a gambling house will be able to survive with other incomes expect house edge.

I guess as long as a gambling house will be keeping their words and their house edge is even zero, I guess we can continue with them.

Yes, there are some other ways for gambling house to survive even though they applied 0% house edge. As an example, a gambling site can pick up a higher fees than usual gambling sites do, when users wanted to withdraw they funds, etc.
2488  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁Most Popular Dice & Roulette🎁 on: August 13, 2017, 11:58:56 AM
Thanks for the information, but I just wondering why bitsler do not announce it on BCT, instead of that, they choose to post on their own forum. I know they need to get good traffic for their forum, but they sure need more players to play right or may be 4k of members is enough to get through this? Grin

The promo is specifically for Bitsler's forum, tho they did announce it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.msg20540254#msg20540254 and also on the thread title, tho it's not that of a big announcement, so you probably missed it.

Cheers!

I mean they did post something back there about the promo for sure but they do not put it on game and rounds on BCT. That is why I saw there is only some people that posted it. Or may be do not even notice that promo. As you said they specifically put in on Bitlser forum, why? I mean if they put it here, they can get more people to join on their site instead only bitsler's loyal member

It wont make significant difference if they put in at bitcointalk imho, as we know that the main rule to join the lottery is that players need to be 4 stars level. The lottery is imho to give a rewards to their loyal players and for the bitsler's forum. They have done it before here, so it is reasonable if they put it on their own forum. Probably they will give another one on this forum as well.

That's true, and at least they have announced about the existence of that lottery here and give a link to access it. So people who met the requirements and not so active on the site but in bitcointalk won't miss it!
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: August 12, 2017, 11:43:59 AM
Yes of course. Life itself is a gamble. We often take risks and get unexpected consequences. Often it all depends on luck. Life and gambling can bring us incredible surprises. Both bad and good. But in both cases we learn something.
don't relate it to gamble in daily life , it pretty different you know . taking risk in a game to doubling your money is sounds like a good way but actually it the opposite . you are doing the most stupid activity to make money in the world , and sometimes people proud of it.
Gambling is not an effective way to double your money or to fulfill your dreams of being a millionaire by putting little or no efforts at all. In short, it brings you a loss and has a bad effect on your moral values as well.
People do feel proud if they win a big amount in gambling but in reality it is a matter of shame for those who gamble.

When people rely on gambling to achieve their dreams, most of them tend to ignore other things that have a good chance to get the dream. For example, people will, intentionally or otherwise, degrade the quality and quantity of their daily work. It happens because what is in their mind is a dream to become rich without hard work. To avoid it, we have to stop our dream to be rich from gambling. We should treat it as a game to spend our free time only.
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: August 12, 2017, 09:40:36 AM
I still wondered after watching one dice gambling tips on youtube. she suggested to use a vpn American countries. Do you think the state and affect our current location to gamble? , please give your opinion

I really don't think this will affect anything computers are programmed to do something and that's it. It doesn't mean if you are in other countries it does different think in your country, The location and state will not affect your wins in gambling. I do think that in gambling skills and luck is the only thing will help you. So if you want to win a gambling you better have the luck and the experience of the game.

There are some people who believe that the system will cheat them if they continue to use the same ip address for long periods of time. And in anticipation of that, they changed their ip address by using proxy from other countries. That's the least I know why people suggest us to change our location. For me it does not make sense but I won't blame them for their opinions.
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet gambling excitement on: August 11, 2017, 07:18:38 PM
A lot of people gamble just for fun and most of us ever used faucet to gamble, but when I gamble using faucets I don't feel any excitement, I am having fun but I don't feel the adrenaline rush that I got from gambling with real deposit and I gambling recklessly with the faucet because I know that I got nothing to lose

Do you guys feel the same thing?

Using faucet means we will lose only our time and if we get good profit from it, for sure excitement will come. I used to use faucet in the past but after sometime I got bored and I don't touch faucet anymore.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Casinos on: August 11, 2017, 12:04:30 PM
Bitcoin Cash has to prove it self just like any other altcoin that it can go mainstream and most casino customers will use it for the long run, am pretty sure they will list on one condition that it can show it has a community rallying behind it and won't crash out on them like other altcoins.

I agree, bitcoin cash has no place yet in this world. It is just being traded in the exchanges for no good reason really. Just that it is a fork of bitcoins and a medium sized mining pool is trying to sell it as the real bitcoin. But they won't succeed, they will just be forgotten and no casino will accept it.

Bitcoin cash is relatively new and if they can survive for a longer time with no bad thing happened, then casinos will start to implement it into their sites as an alternative coin to gamble.
2493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin buy today? on: August 10, 2017, 09:26:28 PM
There are three coins that already gain good marketcap and the price is still below 1$. Ripple, NEM and IOTA. Those three coins could be the best coins to buy nowadays.
2494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 10, 2017, 08:01:37 PM
Ethereum is one of the best altcoin and I guess it'll survive in the future. Ethereum is the most obvious competitor to the existence of bitcoin.
2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when the value of your coins starts going up dramtically? on: August 10, 2017, 06:55:19 PM
I think I sell some of it and buy another coin that didn't go up dramatically thus I would take some profit and invest in a undervalued coin.

For me, if I had a coin which the price goes up drastically, I will sell a half of it and wait for the price to move down to start to buy it again at lower price. And if the price continue to move up then I'll do nothing except waiting for the right time to sell the other part of my coin.
2496  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, we are sending your BCH back to you! on: August 10, 2017, 01:53:21 PM
Our newest competition just started!  See how much profit you can win, and earn some great prizes!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2073450.0
Not that many people playing, should be easy to take one of the lower spots for anybody

great competition that allows you to win even if you do not have a huge bank to roll with
of course, whales have increased chances, but at least your skills and luck matter in this contest more than anything
it is quite early, but i see the usual "raid bosses" dominating the rankings, haha
well done yahoo,by the way, great gambling skills  Tongue

You are wrong if you said you do not need huge banroll to take good profit here
As I see huge bankroll sure affect your profit, it helps you to suffer more losses, so in the end you still get a little profit
Besides skill and luck, bankroll sure play a role here and when it comes to profit of course

Good bankroll and luck are the two main things we have to have if we intend to win the competition. No chance for low bankroll to win it unless all high rollers lose their games.
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 09, 2017, 08:52:02 PM
Right or wrong are just a perspective. I believe that there is neither wrong nor right. They are just within our psychological state. Gambling is not wrong and it is not right. It is just how you can deal with it in the way you see fit. If you are in a loss of money, you should stop. If you won lots of money, keep playing. That's life. If you do not think about yourself, you will not survive.

Yes, it depends on our own perspective to see whether gambling is wrong or not. But don't forget there is public perspective too. A general perspective of gambling. Public or most people will say that gambling is wrong. It is because there're already a bunch of evidences that most gamblers experienced some bad problems in their life. So, the end decision will be on our hand with various risks that we are ready to bear.
2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign - Lately waste of time and energy on: August 09, 2017, 07:30:52 PM
Too many bounties being held nowadays and most of them will be worthless. Paying a half in btc and the other half in token will be good from participants point of view. So, if the project failed, participant still have something from their 'hard work'. And if the project gain a massive success, participants have a chance to be millionaire.  Grin
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: August 09, 2017, 05:32:01 PM
Greed is influence of emotional and mental instability. It happens because we spend too much time doing things are interesting. In gambling is same, limits are very important. And the fact is most gamblers always loser.

Limit ourselves when gambling with some money that we think will not interfere with our finances. Never violate our own rules. Whenever the greed comes and persuade us to play more and more, counter it with another intellection, we will lose all if we continue our game.
2500  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: August 09, 2017, 11:24:22 AM
The only jackpot i have won is the prime dice 77.77 one. I have won them three times, but unfortunately the wins weren't that big, The biggest i won from the jackpot was 0.007 BTC. Have you ever won a jackpot in your life? If so how big was it?

I hit jackpot couple times, I don't remember exactly how many time I hit it, at bitsler and other sites. But that was the small one. No more than 0.01 BTC. I never intend to hit the jackpot, it was just a bonus for me.
