2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: INOUE vs DONAIRE 2 - June 7 on: April 01, 2022, 05:23:49 PM
This is such great news for all the boxing fans around the world, including me and specially for the people with the same nationality as with these two boxers. I knew it, I somehow know that this storm will somehow show-up soon and gladly the time has come that Donaire and Inoue will have a rematch and this will be a unification fight with 3 belts on the line as the OP have said.

This is the 2nd big fight that's also going to be held at Saitama, Japan.
2482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: April 01, 2022, 04:48:18 PM
Mike Tyson have come up with a really good reason on how to tell people and other organizers that he won't be stepping in the ring anymore and do some fights, he didn't specified what's the reason behind it but that surely that statement was clear enough that he don't want to do fights anymore with anyone even if it's an easy money. There's really no way that someone will spend with a billion dollar for just a fight, that's just insane.

Yeah! instead of him, they can choose some other boxers who have the same popularity as him and are in need of money but I doubt that they can find someone like him though. Because if they somehow get another boxer, it would not be profitable as him. Nowadays, people don't really care about their match unless the brothers are against a fighter who can surely knock them out to sleep. But I doubt that they will let themselves lose to it by not rigging the fight again because if they lose, they also lose their fans as well.

IIRC, I do think that Mike Tyson is the only legendary left in his generation that is still fit to fight and able to knock someone out given their age because Muhammad Ali isn't in the right condition to make such fights like exhibition matches even if he needed some money, so let's just stop expecting about this fight or any of this Paul brothers against the Iron Mike because it's almost impossible to make this fight happen.

Boxing industry these days are getting ugly as they're continually supporting these uninteresting exhibition matches of getting professional fights because of money, we know this industry is a business but this is not the way it used to be.
2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: April 01, 2022, 04:11:16 PM
I usually use filter and remove simulated reality sports game and cyber sports game like basketball and football even if they are controlled by two people. I don't trust them and only stick and rely to the real sports and provably fair games. I am not sure but there is an instinct in me that those game were not fair as real sports and in house games.

I agree.

I think most of the simulated reality games are being manipulated by their respective developers to maximize their bankroll every single day. I'd rather stick to real sports as well because it's more fun to do, and the excitement is always there to give you entertainment while betting. Simulated games for me are like those lowkey scheme NFT(s) that are flooding the market right now.

Indeed, but we cannot deny that these simulated reality games are getting good as time goes by and the developers have come to seek to make the game as real as may seem to the users but yes we can somehow say that these games are also rigged as part of the programs to tempt more users in their games. It's just a matter of perspective, it's just we are built and raised differently so if you're an avid gamer then I bet you would really enjoy and choose the virtual reality games that you think that you're in full control than the real sports.
2484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 01, 2022, 02:06:48 PM
An unfriendly crowd is expected in their fight especially if the Russia-Ukraine war is still hot during the day of the fight, there will be someone or group of people that will discourage Bivol on the said venue or even a loud booing will heard on his entourage. What he should do is cancel all that nonsense noise and we know that boxers are used to that even before that they will fight on the opponents soil, so he shouldn't be affected after all. I also hope that he can fight with all his best and give an entertain fight to the fans and people who waited for this.
The mentality of the Bivol fighter is ready to face the ridicule that hits the opponent's ground, but I'm afraid he's not ready to accept criticism about the Russo-Ukrainian war because it could disrupt his concentration. I hope the fans uphold sportsmanship not to involve him in conditions he doesn't want. Bivols should really focus on the boxing match for a fair fight result without booing the opponent excessively during the match.

Yeah, probably a very hostile crowd for Bivol because of the ongoing war. Nevertheless, as an athlete, he should learn how to shut down the noise around him and concentrate on the fight.

We can't control the crowd, who knows, maybe there will be pro Russians that is going to watch the fight live to cheer him . So just imagine how the crowd will behave, but hopefully there will be no untoward incident in the arena and there should be more securities around.

We can't control that the rivalry of racest is way deeper from these two nations. I like that idea Bivol should focus
in how to beat Alvarez, it's a sport that they can showcase their skills and prove how tough they are in this field, allowing Canelo to dominate him will give more confidence to knock him down.

It's too early to say, but both fighters are surely waiting for this fight and prove something personal.

Why personal? Is this fight even personal between the two athletes? I don't think so. There is nothing personal here except the challenge to be the better boxer. But this is not something as if their desire to defeat the other is born out of a personal hatred towards the other. There is nothing really personal about this fight. Canelo is not from Ukraine. And Bivol is not somebody who's willing to bomb a country to the ground. I think both Canelo and Bivol are acting only as boxers in this fight. Both of them don't have a beef with each other.

I definitely agree about that, these two boxers doesn't hold any grudge on each other nor they are representing Ukraine and Russia. Bivol and Canelo are just two famous boxers who are fighting for the belt and championship, the situation is just a coincidental which makes Bivol as the enemy in the eyes of people just because of the mere fact that he is Russian. Isn't that unfair? I think that's why they are considering to take this fight in Dubai because in that country, the people are neutral and have no beef on Bivol's nationality.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 30, 2022, 07:55:19 PM
With that possible lose tonight for the Lakers, they are now much closer to being eliminated from the play-in tournament. They will fall to 31-44, same with the San Antonio Spurs which is currently on a hot 4-game winning streak, and since GB matters, they might end up in the 11th spot.
The Lakers roster and its management have already saw it coming that their chance in the playoffs this season is somehow slim than the previous seasons they had, surely this was the effect on their decision of bring WB in-exchange of 5 players including Alex Caruso but didn't expect either that they could be this failure and now they ended up on the 11th seed in the West. Their next 5 games will be up against the heavy teams in the league, so GL to them!
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: March 30, 2022, 06:48:23 PM
This is the last title that Kambosos need to become undisputed champion in lightweight, after he made a biggest upset last year against Lopez. If Kambosos won against Haney, it will be smooth career for Kambosos, he might move to the next weight since he don't need to fight with Tank.

George Kambosos career has been expected to fight great boxers in his era since he managed to defeat Teofimo "The Takeover" Lopez via Unanimous decision and he also managed to knock down Lopez in the 1st quarter, that's why he is now fighting Devin Haney in exchange for Loma as he cannot fight now when his country is at war.

Now, Kambosos's career will be tested by Haney and I doubt that he will have a smooth win on this because the latter is also a good technical fighter and an upset might be possible even though Kambosos is the heavy favorite.
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 28, 2022, 07:35:53 PM
Without a doubt this is a good news, after all the possibility of the fight being canceled or delayed was real, as right now there is a very strong call to boycott anything and anyone that comes from Russia, so I applaud the decision of the WBA to keep sanctioning this fight as without a doubt it does not seem as if Bivol is in favor of the war and as such it would be unjust to punish him for something that is completely outside his control.

Actually, the world is just making sure that Russian athletes won't be harmed since not all people can understand the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. That's why on other sports, they ban Russian athletes. There might be a case that fans will throw shits to the Russian athletes in a certain event regardless if those are in favor or not in the war. That will be unfair treatment to them.

Here in Canelo vs Bivol fight, the venue will be on US soil and there might be fans on the venue that will treat Bivol badly. Although he's not totally lived in Russia, his hometown is part of the USSR. The US has backed up Ukraine and Bivol might end up not being respected by the fans on the day of the fight.

They are just ensuring the match will not lead to protest or rally inside the arena.
Because they won't know what will possibly transpire during the day of the fight.
So yes, it is good that they are assessing the situation here before it happens.
But most Russian athletes are condemning Putin's move, but they can't do much about it.
They are like one of the collaterals of this war. Most of them haven't seen this coming.
Exactly, they are just the victims of the war led by their President. Bivol has nothing to do with it so that is unfair for him if the fight is going to be cancelled or there could be protest or rally inside or outside. He is just a boxer trying to make his dreams come true by fighting one of the best in our generation and hopefully, who knows he could upset Canelo.

He will have hostile crowds knowing that he is from Russia and Canelo has a good motivation to beat him, I have this feeling that he will beat him so bad that his corner might stop the fight, Canelo will be the sentimental favorite here because of what's happening between Russia and Ukraine and Bivol will be the victim, I hope is the best form of his life, he is up against the current pound for pound champion.

2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 28, 2022, 06:55:46 PM

Of course, being famous like Casimero in his home country has it's perks because he will be constantly followed by fans around. But in the case, we really don't know who is saying the truth. But hopefully it won't affect Casimero's mentality in this fight. He needs to win so he should focus against Butler and then later he can call Inoue.

That's why I don't judge Casimero about this issue because we don't know both sides about their lives. Casimero is an Icon, but his job is just to entertain the fans, and he makes money for that, winning gives honor to his country but at the end of the day, he is just doing his job and his personal life is non of our business anymore.

Yes, you're quite right about that mate! We have only seen the one side of the story and not the full story behind those allegations if it's really true or not, so it is better not to judge or speculate something that isn't appropriate. What we want is that Casimero won't be distracted about his upcoming fight as he is going to represent the Philippines and entertain the people around the world especially for those who supports him.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: March 28, 2022, 06:33:40 PM
It seems the lawyer for Whyte is saying the fight might not go ahead but has not given more detail except outstanding issues need resolving. It all stemmed from Whyte wanting a bigger share of the fight purse distribution and looked at ways to increase his pay.

I've read the article you've said, thanks.

I don't know much about the complimentary tickets or some details behind the scene and their agreements, but what I'm so curious about is that why did Fury's team didn't disclose any details about the fight and the inside venue? It's a bit unfair I think that Whyte's entourage or family doesn't have any tickets at all to watch the fight.

That's also why Eddie Hearn have said that he's glad that he got no part about the fight and promotions. Seems a little bit messy behind the scenes.
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 28, 2022, 06:02:20 PM
Good for the fans who are waiting for these two fighters in finally meet inside the ring, if Spence and Crawford's camp sealed the deal after Ugas (if Spence wins), like what most of us are waiting, taking all the belts in this division would be great before moving to another division. We don't know though if Spence will win, but one thing is for sure whoever wins the fight and has that desire to take all the belts will take Crawford and settle everything.

Spence really needs to take care of business with Ugas for that Crawford fight to happen. The moment that fans are waiting to meet these boxers at the ring facing off will all be wrecked if Ugas will win the fight. Crawford has no reason now to call out Spence to face him.

I'm not really siding on for one boxer here to win the fight. I do see Spence has all the advantages to win but not seeing Ugas is a heavy underdog even the odds provided for them is really wide. I still see Ugas has a chance to upset Spence with the right timing and strategy.

If Ugas will win, he will shock the boxing world for sure. It's unexpected and nowhere to have a big chance to happen as looked at by the majority.

That is if Spence Jr will really win against Ugas, an underdog but risky opponent to face with. Surely Ugas will test him after his inactivity and with all those surgery in his eyes, it might be a dangerous one but surely Ugas will aim for that for a higher chance of winning the fight.

I'm also sure that Spence have prepared to take the risk for his fight, he cannot be so aggressive because of his eye injury in the past but we know that they already got some techniques for it to somehow minimize that risk.

And if ever Spence will succeed, then a Spence vs Crawford fight won't be inevitable anymore.
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 28, 2022, 05:31:05 PM
Tagoe could experiment all he wants, he just has to make sure that he is doing it the right way because Garcia is not an easy opponent to crack, he's been down before, was able to stand up and continue the fight. Garcia is a much tougher opponent now with that experience, so it should be Tagoe who should be careful, he could go for a KO but make sure he always keeps his defense so he will survive longer.

Experimenting is not necessary as that would cost him more rounds before he can make up with a good counter-strategy. Why not just do his usual, focus on good points then slowly applied it every round. No room for doing such testing and experiments.

While he is doing that, Garcia might be the first to hit him up badly. Stay serious and focused and think of all the things he did during their practice and training.

Anyways, we honestly don't need to say what should they do as these boxers are experienced ones.

What we need to wait for is how they will execute their strategy on the day of the fight.
This is gonna be a big fight as long as Tagoe will focus more on his strengths and show what he has got to gain, and not to lose. Of course, Garcia won't let that happen easily knowing he's been a tough fighter and undefeated in all his previous fights. And to think that he's been a 15-time national amateur champion at he's young age, then he must be very hard to beat. But of course, Tagoe on the other hand is also one of the top boxers nationwide and fighting with Garcia has always been his dream. So we'll see who will bring it to the next speed level.

Let's see about it soon and what have they got, these two boxers really deserves to win but unfortunately, a draw in this match is almost impossible to happen. Tagoe here have much experience than the young aspiring Garcia but the latter also have some capabilities that even a veteran boxer don't have. We know it won't be an easy fight as these two won't be an easy opponent to each other. Anyways, the time is near and we will see it soon.

That is just another way of saying that he doesn't want to fight anymore that is why he have come up with a huge and enormous price tag, for the last time he is clearing all his statement that his off the ring and a big easy money won't tempt him to do a fight especially for the Logan brothers and anyone who's eyeing him.
2493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 28, 2022, 12:10:05 PM
My early pick here ===

Big game coming, 76ers vs Phoenix Suns. The number 1 in the East vs number 1 in the West.

For 76ERS, no injury report, so I'm taking the handicap which is +4.5.. and a little bit for the Moneyline as well.

I really don't know which team to go with here, but the Suns being the home team make it rather more the difficult to go with 76ers here, but I fancy the over 227.5  more.

I've also got a bit on Lakers today, I'll be backing the ML @ 2.48

It was a good game, lots of 3 points on the both teams. The game started becoming intense on the 3rd quarter and the 76ers are struggling to catch up the lead because Booker and others were unstoppable. Total score combined is just 218, and the Suns now are on its 8th win streak. That's the longest streak this season if I'm not wrong.
2494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 28, 2022, 11:47:50 AM
Lakers and Pelicans will square off later. Both teams are likely to face each other in the play-in tournament too. James and Ingram could be back for their respective teams.

I also noticed there's a poll on who will be the ninth and tenth in the Western Conference. I still think it's those two teams but the Spurs is just a few games behind them.

The Lakers vs. the Pelicans game is over. LeBron showed another great performance scoring 39 points, but it wasn't enough. The Lakers screwed up again and lost to the Pelicans for the second time this season. So if these teams really meet each other in the play-in tournament, then the Lakers will most likely not be able to reach the first round of the playoffs.

I thought they got this covered as they are slightly getting back on track but the result was the exact opposite because they were dominated by the Pelicans, poor LeBron who always try his best to carry the team but the roster ain't that flexible enough just like him and they end up badly this season.
2495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 27, 2022, 01:19:00 PM

Moving to back to this upcoming fight, Spence may showcase again his skills to climb up and call for Crawford for his next fight.
His fight with Porter was quite not so impressive because he only won via split decision.
If he would do the same in this fight, I'm afraid, we might see a surprise because both boxers are champion and Ugas are good using his range.

Another interesting fight after this, and another winner takes all and grabs all the belts in this division.
He does not need to call on Crawford because Crawford has been calling him already, Spence just agree to the fight and this big fight will be settled.

Then if that's the case that Crawford is just waiting for the agreement of Spence and his team to settle the big fight between them then I guess Spence should give his best in this upcoming fight of him against Yordenis Ugas. Yes both fighter are champions and I'm excited to see which of them will be the last stand at the end of the battle and if so Spence managed to win the game then maybe we will going to see Errol Spence vs. Crawford fight.

Spence will likely win in his coming fight, the question is, is he willing to fight Crawford? I've searched some articles online but I did not find an article stating that Spence is willing to fight Crawford, so it could be he is avoiding Crawford and just taking the fight on social media.

2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 27, 2022, 11:40:22 AM
<=>although I'm not sure what is the initial handicap for this match.

The line was -17 for the Nuggets based on https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nuggets-vs-thunder-odds-line-2022-nba-picks-march-26-predictions-from-proven-computer-model/.. Therefore OKC covered the handicap, both the pre-game and the live betting.

I'm not surprise with the line as we all know that OKC is already out of the playoff picture, so their games are already a no bearing game, but they came up a bit competitive in this game and the high spread is just a gift for the OKC backers.

It's a no bearing game but they keep it close though, they have nothing to lose, but Jokic put another monster number just to put them in the winning column.

So I guess OKC will have to go back to the drawing board again for next season, and hopefully Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be healthy for next season. They are a young team with a lot of improvement and maybe they can make to the playoff next year.

That's what the OKC need, they have to improve next season and try to have a healthy squad. Nuggets would always try their best to win so they can have the twice-to-beat advantage, after that win, they are now in the number 6 spot but still very close to the number 5 and 4 spot.

2498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 26, 2022, 06:43:58 PM
^^ Very very important for Casimero to not have any issues with this fight. And I agree that he has sort it out with hiring a nutritionist that will overlook everything he eat and should be making good meals for him.

So everything is set for him against Butler, only the outcome of the fight is an unknown variables. But for us, Casimero is the favorite and chances are very high that he will win this fight.

MP Promotions and Team Casimero has already sorted that out for Casimero so that he can be healthy and at his edge at the day of the fight. Overall, Casimero has prepared enough for this fight and as for his physical abilities and mental health, it's already good. The only thing left to do is to maintain his health like eating the right food that can boost his immune system more.

Few more weeks to go, hold tight people!

So are you saying that Casimero is still working with MP promotion? I read some news before that he shifts to another promoter, the same promoter whom Donaire is working with, I just want to clarify this news to know which is true.

As far as I know, he bolted out of MP and joined Probellum promotions and this will be his first fight under the banner.

So MP and Sean Gibbons are out, and that's why Sean has been attacking the Donaire's because they are intrumental on Casimero joining them on the other side. And we can all suspect as to who is behind the sudden sexual harassment filed by some lady in the Philippines against Casimero. And it's obvious that they wanted to distract Casimero in this fight and maybe hoping that he will lose.

Right, Casimero made the last minute call and have signed under the same roof with Donaire, Probellum promotions. But I'm quite confused here, is Paul Butler also under the Probellum promotion? Correct me if I'm wrong because I have read somewhere last month that Butler is the main cow of Probellum which had me thinking that this fight might be rigged. I hope not.
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 26, 2022, 05:30:11 PM
This fight will surely be an interesting fight to watch and it's been the most anticipated fight of the year because Canelo is sure the favorite here but the people's opinion are divided too because we cannot neglect that Dmitry Bivol surely have that chance to upset Canelo, after all this is his division so he is somehow adept in this weight while Canelo may have fought once in this division previously but he is still just a guest.

Every fight of Canelo Alvarez regarding who will be his opponent in that said fight is always an anticipated fight for every boxing fans who supporting him. And there's no doubt that this upcoming fight is an interesting fight because the undefeated fighter Canelo Alvarez will going to defend his title and belt against Bivol and this time he will going to show us if he can still be the undefeated fighter or we will going to see Bivol winning the game. I am pretty sure Canelo is the stronger fighter in this upcoming fight.

Absolutely, Canelo is the pound-for-pound king and an undisputed champion so it's somehow expected that his every matches will be the most anticipated one and the upcoming trilogy is much more anticipated and I bet the fans of GGG and Canelo is dying to know what would be the result of their separate fights.

And there's no doubt that this upcoming fight is an interesting fight because the undefeated fighter Canelo Alvarez will going to defend his title and belt against Bivol...
Sorry mate, I have to disagree with you here because Saul Canelo Alvarez is not an undefeated boxer. His record is 57-1-2 and his only lost came from the one and only Floyd Mayweather Jr. last September 2013.
2500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 26, 2022, 04:28:01 PM
He is one of the boxers who stands at the top in his current class and indeed this requires a lot of struggle for GGG.
Technically, if you look at it from there, it's certainly as expected in this forum because GGG is definitely the favorite and indeed Murata is the Underdog, but indeed this will be tough and most likely this will be a battle with calculations later

I believe that Murata is not just a simple boxer that GGG should take him easy because this man Murata will truly give a difficult fight for him. It cannot be denied that GGG is the crowd's favorite here but it is also undeniable that he should prepare for this fight to be able to achieve the ultimate goal of winning the battle. I can't wait to see them inside the ring and unfold the result right in front of us who among them will stand out at the end.
As I said before Murata is one of the pretty good boxers in his class and even he can reach the top top in my opinion and that doesn't come from just relaxing because he is indeed a strong enough boxer to reach that level.
Regardless it will be a tough fight no matter who is underdog or underdog but they are very good boxers and they have to stay alert

A win here by Murata will make him a boxing superstar. Imagine beating GGG, he would be just like Horn after beating Pacman but in another way because we all know that the fight was very controversial and Horn falls to the hands of Crawford. What I'm saying is that if Murata would win convincingly, it will give him big opportunities to fight popular boxers going forward.

Indeed, it will make Murata famous in the industry and there will more doors of opportunity that will open for him, and maybe he'll end up the same league with Inoue or somehow near him. However beating GGG won't be an easy path to take as the Kazakhstani boxer is known for his toughness especially his chin.
