2481  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin Dumping ? on: March 07, 2023, 02:25:29 PM
Dumping and rising is a common thing in Bitcoin or other investment products, maybe people who are still shocked by Bitcoin fluctuations that are like a roller coaster, but for those of us who are used to when the market dumping is a good opportunity to buy more because of the potential term potential Bitcoin is very good and profitable.
The problem is most people have this picture that when bitcoin is bullish, it will jump from 20k to 50k in an instant without facing any obstacles or resistance on its way up but that's not how these markets work!

We need to understand that for bitcoin to go up it has to dump drop before it goes up as this is the only way it builds fuel to go up to its next destination..If only people read more about liquidity, inducements and all this will give everyone of us a better understanding of why price drops happen...

im also agree with you because i feel this bear market is not over yet, if we wrong maybe bitcoin will reach 28k or 30k this month.
But it seem like impossible right now and biitcoin will reach new ATL from last year.
Price seems to be consolidating and if you look at the price action... for traders, this isn't the best time to hold trades for a long time as the price could easily spike either upwards or downwards wiping peoples open positions even with stop losses set, but of course, you could take short term trades and get your 5R and you out of the market...let greed not tie you down.

2482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Common Mistakes Made by New Crypto Investors on: March 07, 2023, 02:00:03 PM
Many people new to the world of crypto make simple silly mistakes almost on a daily basis, for example, someone new to crypto shares their private key instead of their public address that's giving up their coins to strangers.

Others new to decentralized exchanges /centralized exchanges have sold huge sums of BTC for literally peanuts because they were experimenting with how to go about with using the exchange. With all such misfortunes happening, I think we need to tell ourselves it's okay to ask for help if we don't understand something because hands on experience will cost us more than we intend to lose.

Having a plugin of some sort that will show the reach of each post could be a good feature that campaign managers would use as a factor of influence of some sort for each user but not guaranteed to yield the required results of course. But looking at the 3rd photo in the OP of having to have a drop-down menu to show names of users that have actually seen or interacted with this post is a no-no for me as this could easily turn into a stalker's hunt and stepping on forum user's privacy.

The idea is good not sure what the majority think of this...
2484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future of bitcoin without powerful nations? on: March 07, 2023, 09:37:55 AM
I guess bitcoin is suffering price depreciation because of most renowned countries like China, US and Africa demoting it values with their economy influence.
China has done more harm than good for bitcoin and its not surprising because we all know how controlling their government loves to be.. But it's no brainer i think the people their have become more smarter with the use of cryptocurrencies such that not even crypto bans will stop the revolution in these parts of the world.

On Africa thought these guys have contributed positively after their home currencies have been barted by poor performing economies and they have turned to Bitcoin for better stable alternative currency.

Most of this nations shares on bitcoin are on high pedal, since they withdrew from investing their state capital and refused to support the existence of bitcoin, the price has not seen a better chance of pumping soon.
Bitcoin has done it time and time again without this money and it will do it again just hang in there.

In future, it might be different but what if this nations keep strong kicking against bitcoin without reprojected their economy resources, will bitcoin survive for a long time?
You keep insisting on bitcoins success depending on a nation investing, this is not the best idea.. Crypto is better off with individuals investing as this is the financial freedom they long for.

What do you is the future of bitcoin at this point?
Do nations or people have power over bitcoin price regulations?
What is your speculation if bitcoin keeps revaluing in price?
Do you see a good outlook soon?
Let's argue your points.

For starters bitcoin price will forever remain unregulated and will depend on supply and demand to determine its performance and not regulations.
2485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 06, 2023, 11:50:05 PM
If entering the markets will be based on you to first see some green candles or anything in those lines,am  sorry you aren't ready for the markets and this will hurt you in the long term.

You best option to give yourself a winning chance and an edge over the markets is build a solid trading strategy this will help eliminate any emotions that get you to doubt your positions and will also allow you to apply good risk management to protect your capital.

Ultimately we also need to agree that we can't win all trades no matter how good of a strategy we have, let's accept losses to be part of the trading game!!

2487  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Inflation Happening All Over the World At Once? on: March 06, 2023, 10:51:47 PM
Most likely because the one thing that most of our countries rely on is energy and seeing that the Russia- Ukraine war is still going on this will keep affecting other sectors of industry which means spending more to cushion the rising price of energy...thanks to a limited number of energy/ crude oil suppliers.

I also believe because things aren't done the user way,we are been forced to pay a premium as their are a few goods to go around for everyone, also possible that there is an artificial shortage as suppliers try to milk consumers for extra cash to receive less.
2488  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-03-01] Forbes - The Nigerian Election And Naira Crisis Are Fueling Bitcoin on: March 06, 2023, 09:44:20 PM
If this is really true, feel bad for those that aren't tech savvy or aren't privileged enough to know how to go around the cash shortages and the alike by using digital currencies such as Bitcoin.

But to dissect this issue further, where is the money going, are Nigerian citizens keeping money in their homes and not taking it to the bank..What's really going on Huh

And elections are over and still no improvements, hope BTC won't be perceived to be the bad asset and the current government goes for cryptos by banning them to try force people to bank their money...
2489  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: March 06, 2023, 09:18:15 PM
Great I also think changing ones eating habits and what kind of foods one takes can help cut cost almost immediately.

Besides this you could further cut costs for home cooked meals by supplementing this with some home gardening to depend more on your home produce than always going to your local grocery stores and the alike.
2490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature on copper membership on: March 06, 2023, 08:51:42 PM
Hi. I want to promote my business here on BTalk but I don't have the necessary rank to do that.
You don't have to do this alone,If you have extra resources you could have 2 or more users help give your business the visibility it needs to drive in traffic there....if this work in your favour get more users on the Sig or downsize to cut costs.

By buying a copper membership, can I wear a profile pic + signature
Profile pic for newer accounts are limited to full member and above unfortunately, but with the copper membership you can make use of the signature space ,good luck.

or I need to get merit first? Thanks!
Getting merit will just help you to rank up and have better looking signatures as you climb the ladder as this will accommodate more characternin the Sig space..
2491  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 06, 2023, 07:24:40 PM
Is good to plan, don't live your life on a plata of Gold.
If someone has the opportunity to live life on a silver gold plata why deny yourself the good life..someone worked hard to ensure you lived it this way, good stuff don't just fall from the sky..

The first time I had bulk money was during my higher institution days, as a student we know and hear too many things but only few chose to do something, opportunity of MMM, crypto currency and Achievers forum sorry mentioning them here came to me in school and I grasps it and as God may have it, I make a lot of money but the first thing that came to my mind was to buy car, I bought two cars, place one as a taxi and one private use as school big boy but non of this happen to play out well.
School days are times of make or break time and most have more cash inflows around this time to make use of all these opportunities that throw themselves at us but it's all about making the right decisions.

The Taxi cab had an accident and piece in bits and I sold it out auction price, same thing happen to the one I was using in school and it was a tragedy scenes, it was sold as Scrabs. I used the remaining money to live extravagant lifestyles, going out with friends, carrying girls to where we can't ordinarily afford bills, buying wears we don't need, gadgets and accessories we don't match our income or status but all this turn out against me. I lost almost everything, for two years after my school I could afford a dime, no job, no source income, I have nothing in my bitcoin wallets, life balls back to zero level.
Honestly I don't see an issue of spending out of budget but rather a case of someone spending out of frustration after losing two valuables... probably call this trying to forget what happened, but hey we all learn from our mistakes no need of being hard on ourselves this is a normal reaction that anybody would do to try and forget such.

Today I can boastfully said this not to impress you or give you a plan but is good to plan your life, know what you want per time, avoid impulse buying, avoid competition, avoid extravagant lifestyle, have a routine, draw your scale of preference, learn forgone alternative principles. Life on earth is short if you can't get it right, and life is hell if you're not living it right.
Appreciate the advice buddy but let's also agree that life has no blue print on how to go on with it ..we all have our own path's to live but precautions should be necessary to avoid the pitfalls of life.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 06, 2023, 05:30:55 PM
Barcelona seem to be very interested in Bernardo Silva, they have been monitoring the situation since the summer. To get Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, Barcelona will have to cough out a huge sum to get his services and I don’t think Barcelona has that kind of money.
Barcelon still have to comply with LaLiga rules if they want to make a transfer this summer, they will have to make a player sale and earn around £178m before they can finally sign a new player, which will be the question of which Barça players they will sales to fulfill those rules and can signing Bernado Silva https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11814603/Barcelona-BANNED-entering-transfer-market-unless-raise-178m-player-sales.html so the desire to be able to get Bernardo Silva will be constrained.
Clearly Barcelona's financial position is in a mess and with La liga breathing on their necks to monitor all these transfers I really don't think  this Bernardo Silva transfer will be happening any time soon, maybe as a free transfer that would be a good catch...By the way,as the player himself shown interest of leaving the club or its one of those forced transfers that against a player's will Roll Eyes

I've heard that Tottenham want 100 million pounds for Harry Kane now. This might be considered as a very big amount for a 29-year-old player but actually this amount is seen normal these days. Teams are spending an insane amount of money on so many players nowadays. Kane is one of the most valuable players at the moment. He is having his most productive years as a striker and he is technically one of the best strikers right now. Despite Tottenham's still being unable to win titles Kane is continuing to score so many goals in a season.

He is just wasted there I believe and I hope there would be a bigger team making an offer for him in the summer. Maybe Bayern Munich could also be that team.
There is no team in the world that can afford that price, only in England. Maybe one team in each of Spain and Germany can, but both have equally good players in that position. There is a lack of reliance on number nine strikers, and most teams are looking for younger players instead. The price of a Lewandoski like purchase was not within that range
And with this financial fair play on how these club's are spending money on player's is bring heat on the club's,most will be reluctant to be spending such huge sums to try and stay under the radar not to draw attention to themselves like Manchester city or Chelsea...

But of course, the big money is in England but kane going for a 100million at the moment is unjustified as his been out of form for some time and this won't happen! I see kane retiring at Spurs looking at how much he has contributed towards the club and it's the only way to cement his legend status there...

2494  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Heading Back To $23,000? on: March 06, 2023, 05:13:24 PM
From the look of things ,Bitcoin price seems to be consolidating around the price range of 24,000 and 23,000 and the only time we can be certain that buyers have stepped in is when we break the 25k price barrier which seems to have kept Bitcoin price out from releasing the bull.
Should we break the 25k price, that could be a powerful indicator that the bullish train is ready to take off...for now it's building liquidity on both ends to use as fuel to go up using the stop hunt strategy which should happen in such a way that it will spike down and back up again and the bull will be let loose.
2495  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The love I have for bitcoin on: March 06, 2023, 02:48:39 PM
When you think of cryptocurrency, the first thing that comes to your mind is bitcoin, you know why? Because it's the most reliable digital asset.
According to Oxford’s English dictionary "reliable" means consistently good in quality or performance; able to be trusted." And if you ask me not everyone would agree to this statement because Bitcoin lacks the consistency in so many areas, talk about transaction fees which are ever inconsistent and other stuff like it's value.

The crypto space might be bearish right now, but bitcoin always have his way of bouncing back.
Because Bitcoin runs on a free market economy without a central power controlling it and supply and demand dictate it's price thanks to its economics 101 build up.

Last year December when bitcoin was reduced to a new low due to ftx bankruptcy, most people think bitcoin is dead,  I told most of my friends to buy it as at them, they all refuse, but look at it today, it always stands tall because it is the future of finance.
"Most " is an over statement!

As much as I know ,the markets always behave this way and whatever happened Was a conindent with FTX, bTw with or without the FTX saga a bearish market would still have hit
2496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto market has grown in africa on: March 06, 2023, 01:35:44 PM
While reading some articles, Just found the headline "Crypto market has grown in Africa by 1200%".
One thing I know for sure is that these articles are generalized, you will find that they are talking about a few countries such as Nigeria, South Africa,Kenya which should be among the most tech savvy but they will consider these few countries as Africa which shouldn't be the case.
But either way, the Blockchain truely knows no barriers a reason it's so successful and with the continued interest in these technologies price is guaranteed to go to the moon.

Moreover, there is a chance that people would also start paying and accepting crypto.
This is what all countries need, not just Africa...and reading about several technological advancements happening like 5G, starlink etc this means easy access to the internet which also means cryptocurrencies come closer too...guess everything is falling in place.

Are you insinuating that League organizers, Cro2, are colluding?
I really doubt that's the case here.
Collusion not possible...
Simply saying they are the players to beat in the division knowing the threat the pose based on past competitions.

2500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a P2P exchange? on: March 05, 2023, 11:57:12 PM
However Binance has defined it, they still operate the p2p exchange like any other.. for reference we could use the just closed localbitcoin, though I think Binance has added a few extra security features to protect both parties from any accidental release of funds or any unauthorized use of an account that doesn't belong to you. Without any bias this is a game changer which brings crypto closer to our communities...
