After St. Pauli won 4 - 0 against their rivals Hansa Rostock at the weekend, they play against their other rivals Dynamo Dresden in the DFB Cup today.
Yesterday, Nürnberg and Hamburger SV played against each other in the DFB Cup. The match had to be decided in a penalty shootout. Hamburger SV is in the next round.
Schalke lost their game against 1860 München as well as Kiel against Hoffenheim.
St Pauli victory makes them now quite safe at the top of the standings with 25 points, Regensburg and Schalke continue to provide a tight competition so far under St Pauli, it looks like this season will be a historic season for them, if they are able to play consistently this season of course will allow them to return to promotion to the Bundesliga after a long wait. @poldanmig so far they’re playing really well, but in tomorrow’s fixture their player’s maybe exhausted because of continuous playing this week, hence let’s pray that they don’t drop points. This time Pauli had difficulties. In the Bundesliga games they were more convincing. Pauli led twice, but an own goal made extra time possible. They scored the third goal in extra time and won narrowly in the end with 3-2.
Further in the DFB Cup are: Hannover, Rostock and Karlsruhe. Karlsruhe won against Leverkusen.
I also believe that they had one eye on the weekend match, and that’s why it took them till the very end to score the winner, but in the end only winning matters so it’s fine even if they won it late. |

Arsenal has a good history when it comes to minor Trophies like this. I believe that Pep would be very happy to be knocked out, because this means he has one less midweek fixture to deal with and of course he won’t openly say it, but when you’re gunning for the premier league title and champions league then being in this competition is not important. Also West Ham seems very determined this year, and I do believe they should win at least one trophy, but the season is long and they’ll have to keep this momentum only then can they win some trophy this season. |

^^ @coinlocket$ & @tokeweed, I have mixed feelings about the decisions Mercedes took in regards to pitting. Maybe it was a good idea, maybe it was a bad idea I don't know. But what I can is that Bottas has not been very good in recent times, except for the time he won the race. If you look at Red Bull, they have the perfect pair of drivers. Max pushing for the win while Perez has been very good support for him, holding down Hamilton or whoever comes trailing him. I have to give huge credit to Perez in these recent races as his good form has made it easier for Max to win the races.
Yep Perez is the perfect number 2 for Redbull, a not top-class driver who can't compete for Max and does everything the owner tell him to do. He is doing great but he can't fight Max and this is boring for the sport. I'm missing the 2016 with fight Rosberg Hamilton. This year however is quite fun to watch since we have 2 winning cars, imagine the case where we have Red Bull dominating and Max winning 99% of races... We will see next year. @coinlocket$ if the Hamilton winning era finally ends it’ll be great for F1, because it’s become boring each year to see him win it, however the season isn’t over yet so we all should be optimistic about Max chances but not overconfident. Messi's first League 1 goal is still a long way off, however. Nevertheless, I am not going to blame PSG for playing with 10 men, at least they did not lose. Although the game ended in a goalless draw, PSG created chances but the Moroccan defender made a terrific save. PSG continued to fight for a point despite the numerical disadvantage they faced from their away game. PSG remain at the top of the standings in Ligue 1.
I have the feeling that PSG is the ManU of EPL but with way weaker teams that fall apart letting them in the first spot... Having stars doesn't guarantee winning. Messi doesn't find his best form, Neymar is doing Neymar things... PSG didn't lose only 2 points but also the service of Hakimi for a while... Well the comparison is somewhat strong, what happens is that when waiting for results this type of teams one as a bettor or as a fan of the team usually expects much more, on the side of PSG it is said, they have Messi, Neymar and Mbappé and Yes, they are classified as the best in the world as CR7 is at Manchester United, but if players do not understand each other on the field, each player will do what suits them best, because they will not give importance to the team but to shine themselves and an internal egoism is generated, the problems can start from there and also others. I think PSG have to organize their pieces well, they haven't shown what they have. At ATP Saint Petersburg M. Cilic vs K. Khachanov, Cilic has lost his touch when he returns to play after a long injury but Khachanov sometimes not consistent with his performance, this match difficult to predict who wins but pick over 20.5 maybe a good choice.
I also have Tsitsipas who is top seed for the win along with Norrie. Some of the other games look very good especially for the seeded players. Stokes is a really important player for England regardless of the situation. He can turn a match on its head at any given time. He is also a class all-rounder. So he's basically the Shakib Al Hasan of England. And if England wants to even have a chance against India they do be needing stocks in their squad. Though he has been away for a long time I think him being in the squad will help a lot as he can do things almost no other player can.
If Stokes is fully fit, then I don't have an issue of England includes him in the playing XI. In around one month time, the Ashes series will start and we will get to see whether Stokes is performing up to the mark or not. Let's not forget the fact that he took the break from cricket due to mental health issues. I am not sure whether he can be back all of a sudden, without sufficient exposure to county matches. The last time he took part in domestic cricket was four months ago. He needs at least 2-3 county matches before the Ashes series. @Sithara007 Stokes is very strong mentally too, and by taking a break he’s going to become even stronger and better and he’ll be a nightmare for Australia in the Ashes. Also with his experience I’m sure he’ll pick up where he left even without match practice, but if he can get some practise then it’ll definitely help him sharpen his skills. |

I sometimes doubt the age of these players playing the tournament. Some of them look more mature and over aged sometimes. It might be because they have been practicing and playing that their physical appearance can be deceiving. Basically in any tournament the team that has won previously cannot be considered as a favourite for the next tournament. Otherwise most of them would have won consecutively every time.
Cheating is very common in age group cricket, especially in countries such as India and Pakistan. The BCCI issues terminations to dozens of players every year for wrongly stating their actual age. It is not very rare to find 22-23 year old players participating in U-19 tournaments. This actually steals the opportunity from deserving players who don't cheat. The birth records are stored electronically in western nations such as England and Australia, and there it is not possible to do such fraud. @Sithara007 I believe high ranking officials also helps player’s cheat, because it’s impossible for them to cheat without the officials help. Furthermore do teams get banned if a player is caught lying about his age, or only the player who lied gets banned by the ICC?. |

I think the board had decided to give Ole more games time to prove himself, if not I am very sure he must has been sacked after being trashed by Liverpool, Man Utd may get back to their winning ways once again and the rumour will automatically die down just like when Mikel Arteta was at the receiving end when Arsenal was on a losing streak, there was speculations that he will be replaced with Sam Allydyce then, however things turned around and Arsenal got back to their winning ways I believe it will also happen with Ole.
So you mean, slowly the pressure to sack Ole from Manchester United fans will disappear if they can bring victory in the next game? In my opinion, the conditions of Arteta and Ole are two very different things, even though they don't have much experience in coaching, but Arteta is good at managing Arsenal's game strategy which combines young and senior players, while Ole is coaching a team that has a much better squad but he not able to maximize the game manchester and Ole is a coach who lacks strategy in my opinion, and it shows when they are in a position behind the score from other clubs and it looks like Ole is not trying to try to change their strategy in the game. @poldanmig Ole was saved because Sir Alex intervened and saved him from the sack, but if he loses any of the three upcoming fixtures then the board will have to sack him. Toss will play an important role, the team batting first will have a hard time to win. The team batting second are mostly winning. Indeed England is a good team but Bangladesh is unpredictable and they can suddenly change the game.
Yeah, winning the toss would be too crucial and not sure why Bangladesh have opted to bat first today after winning the toss. Probably they might have planned to attack England with their variety of spinners but if they have put England to bat first then I guess there would be better chances for them to win today. I expect, Bangladesh may finish up around 130 in 20 overs but definitely below par when considering England's batting depth. Bangladesh has given a target of only 125 runs. And as I've heard about this pitch, it's a bit of a batting pitch and can easily be over 160 on such a pitch. So the target of 125 is not enough to win. The Bangladesh team is in a lot of crisis. They are consistently performing poorly. There is no improvement in performance. Liton Das is consistently batting poorly, the responsibility of an opener is very important. And he has always failed in his duty. I don't understand why he is being given a chance. I feel this match ended when Bangladesh scored such a low total, and England have lost one wicket now but overall they’re looking strong and should easily win it. Furthermore the reason he could be selected is lack of good player’s to replace him or the team management doesn’t have any confidence in other player’s, but you’re right sooner or later they need to take a call. |

West Ham are really one of the teams which are in a great shape now. They have lost only two times for a very long time. And they won all of their EL group matches so far without even conceding a goal. I have never seen West Ham having such a great performance until this season. And they have a competitor ahead in this tournment which is in a really terrible shape, Genk. They lost their last 5 matches. So I think that West Ham can destroy them also but they still need to be very careful.
West Ham's performance in both the Premier League and Europa League has been very stable. Europa League have won all 3 of their matches and scored 7 goals, while they have conceded no goals. On the other hand, they are also in the fourth position of the points table in the Premier League. They are playing great. So my guess is that West Ham will not have to suffer too much to advance to the next round of the Europa League. They will easily be able to qualify for the next round. Yes they are consistently performing very well since last couple of seasons and not conceding even a single goal in the Europa League speaks about their defense and scored 7 goals in 3 matches show they are attacking as well. Looking in very good form, this team and I hope it continues through out the season. @Lordshiva I believe a lot of credit goes to Moyes for building West Ham into a stable team, plus he managed to cling on to Rice which is also helping him. Furthermore West Ham are the favourites to win and qualify for Europa League next round, and who knows they may even win the league if they continue performing so well. |

Some time ago, Neymar announced that he was really tired mentally and he was thinking of retiring from his national team and maybe it could be even a complete retirement. I wonder whether he will play at his national team until the end of the World Cup. We are talking about Neymar so everything is possible anytime. Maybe he can decide to retire suddenly when they are right in the middle of the tournament. No he won't do it in the middle of the competition or else he will be the most hated football player in Brazil and the whole (Brazilian fans) world. I doubt he will make this move before the World Cup too. Just a childish statement imo By the way, I remembered that Messi had also ended his career in the national team (if I am not mistaken after that tragic American Cup final against Chile), but then over time he changed his mind. I do not think that such options are possible (leaving the national team in the middle of the tournament), but leaving the national team and returning to it is a common practice for star players  I don’t believe even for one second that Neymar will abandon Brazil in the middle of the tournament, he isn’t that immature and he knows the consequences if he does that. Sheriff is still very much in the tournament but that's if they can manage to win at least 2 of their last 3 group stage game as that would give them a really good chance against Inter for second place spot. But I would prefer if teams like this are knocked out early in the tournament otherwise, they might just go on to lose it.
I think it's going to be difficult for Sheriff. They still have to play against Real Madrid and Inter Milan. Both games are at home which is certainly an advantage, but these two top teams won't underestimate Sheriff again. If Sheriff can win one of the two games, then they have a good chance to reach the next round. I don't think so though. For sure they will continue to play in the Euro League, because I don't think Schachtar will catch up. Let's say the Sheriff lost to Real Madrid and a draw with Inter Milan is also an advantage for the Sheriff who will qualify but will they be able to hold the top team in Group D at least there is a draw from the two matches? I said Real Madrid can qualify but will still try for the Italian team who are demanding to win twice otherwise there will be no chance, maybe move to the Europa League. But I wonder if Inter Milan can be consistent for this difficult game? I believe Sheriff will be knocked out because Real Madrid and Inter Milan are in fine form, hence it’s difficult to imagine that these two teams will lose or draw against Sheriff. As I've said before, Besides they having a bad coach, Man United's other weak point is their defense. From week to week their performance does not improve, so Man United is prone to conceding (whoever the opponent is). I think Harry Maguire is a defender who shouldn't be playing. There are reasons why Blazer keeps Solskjaer and I think one of them is because Solskjaer is an obedient coach who can be completely controlled by Blazer (I hope I'm wrong, and Solskjaer is really going to be sacked). I don’t know if you’ll observed it or no but Solskjaer is obsessed with playing Magueire even though he was not fit, and continues to play MacFred, signs Don’t Van De Beek and Sancho only to make them sit on the bench, and yes he’s a weak but obedient coach. Also if Manchester United are serious then they should get Conte asap, because he can dictate the player’s what to do, and make proper use of this squad, and I too hope Ole gets the sack soon. |

In my opinion it's better to make a separate wof for non-premium users with different rewards or the same rewards with lower chance of winning big prizes.
