2481  Economy / Economics / Re: Soo, I'm planning on buying €1000 in bitcoins. Yes or no? on: April 19, 2017, 02:43:45 PM
Bitcoin is one of the most important security of 21st century. Every person who is interested in investment must go for Bitcoin with amount he can afford. Bitcoin has already shown that it is no longer hollow investment. By multiplying its value by 4 times in last 2 years declare its the best performing asset of last 2 years.
2482  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 19, 2017, 11:41:55 AM
with the presence of smartphones helps us to access anything, anywhere with ease then bitcoin be easier to access and introduced that make growth more ride, take advantage of technological advances that continues to grow.
The smartphone no doubt is playing a vital role. The apps designed for using BTC are really helpful to the people to access smartly. Not only the BTC even the mobile banking and many more other activities that are nowadays easily done from the smartphone reducing the physical mobilization saves both time and other resources.

Honestly i am a smartphone user. Smartphone facilitates me in many activities only with finger. I use smartphone for almost 75% of my bitcoin activities such as signature campaign, trading, browsing new bitcoin information and many else. So my smartphone is vital for support my bitcoin activities. Obviously there is not a little user of bitcoin who use smartphone as like me to support their activities in bitcoin, it is give many good affect for bitcoin.

Yes, you need not to worry about number of Bitcoin users accessing it on mobile. The number is already more than those accessing on Desktop. Clearly, when internet is more main stream on mobile, no reason why Bitcoin would be behind in race. Bitcoin means internet, one only need internet to use Bitcoin, that's it.

Hello Bitcoin folk,
I think it isn't better to sell BitcoinSell.org and BuyBit.co somewhere else than BitcoinTalk.org

Domain for sale = BitcoinSell.org &  BuyBit.co
Price = Accepting Offers, PM
2484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 18, 2017, 02:48:07 PM
So i was skeptical back in 2013 when btc made their initial splash into the mainstream radar.

- price needs to stabilize - the fluctuation in price is insane and needs to stabilize, in order for this to happen btc needs further distribution. Hoarders (chinese farmers and early miners) are a negative, see below.

This is something I can condemn completely. Volatility is the essence of Bitcoin and main reason why we are seeing huge attraction towards Bitcoin. Stabilizing the Bitcoin prices by any mean is like cutting the wings of bird because it was flying too above the ground and expecting that it will return back to home soon now !!  Undecided
2485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now. on: April 18, 2017, 02:39:56 PM
Considering the problem of raising fees, I guess time has come when an Altcoin pops up and takes a position of Junior. In my opinion Dogecoin is best alternative. People should start using Dogecoins for micro-payment while macro-payments could still be in hands of Bitcoin. It is the most effective mean at present and can save fees by 2000% !!

Did I hear Mining, or Bitcoin multiplier?
I guess someone preparing scam dish, I can have a smell.  Tongue
These sites are one of the biggest reason which push out around 20% new Bitcoin Enthusiasts out. As being new investors in Bitcoin, they guess these sites as legit opportunities, invest in them, got scammed and being frustrated leave Cryptocurrencies.

2487  Economy / Economics / Re: I hate Cryptocurrency on: April 18, 2017, 02:28:34 PM
Well, I like the blockchain technology... but I have some major problems with it.

Instead of being regulated and utilized so it's a useful technology it's just become a giant faux-economy.

Exchanges, news, prices, altcoins. It never seems to end. Every coin is just feeding into bitcoin for profit. It wouldn't be so bad if there were limited hours for trading but of course because of how the blockchain works it is a 24/7 economy.

Everyone is just trying to one-up the next person by manipulating numbers to their advantage. Sure, that's a lot like the stock market but at the end of the day cryptocurrencies never produce anything other than more coins. Companies produce products and services.

Most every coin uses underhanded trolling tactics like hype accounts, insider bribes, and worse. There's nothing redeemable about the vast majority of this space.

I know there will be mostly defenders of the stupidity but god-damn it is truly ridiculous.

Reading something worthy after time. I do got same intuitions at times while lurking around Altcoin section. The freedom to create one's own cryptocurrency at affordable rate is just inducing lots and lots of unprofessional to enter market and producing tokens with zero utility. You are completely right comparing it with Stock Market. Altcoin market is just an arena of transfer of entity claims and no real production towards economy.
2488  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bank on: April 18, 2017, 02:21:47 PM

It has been explained many times already

And I explained it a few times as well. The real problem is not with you not being able to pay the debt. After all, no one is forcing you to borrow bitcoins (or any other money, for that matter) in the first place, and there are quite a few defaults even with fiat loans backed by crappy collateral (i.e. subprime mortgages). The true real problem is that borrowers will be inclined to intentionally default in case the Bitcoin price is set to rise exponentially since they would be able to buy what they pledged as collateral and still have some bitcoins left from the loan. In other words, it would be highly profitable to default

Let me add something. It may lead to situation that borrower is no longer interested in collateral. He will be like- "Go nigga confiscate my house, I will buy a new one!"  Grin
However, the situation as mentioned by you may not arise if borrower takes loan for immediate consumption as in 80/100 cases occurs.
2489  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: April 18, 2017, 02:11:44 PM
My first intro to Bitcoin came from PTC Sites. Earlier I was stick to Paypal withdrawal from PTC but once my Paypal got limited and I was looking for alternatives and there I saw something written Bitcoin. Well that word is now covers most of my daily time. Cheesy

2491  Economy / Economics / Re: New here: Tut for people interested in earning bitcoins (legit) on: April 14, 2017, 05:00:38 PM
Signature campaign is just a temporary bonus paid to members for promoting business. It should not be consider as regular income or any full-proof way to earn Bitcoin. However, campaign manager is one which could be consider.
Ways don't certainly come up. One need to dig out them. Like I know SEO skill, I will go for offering my services for Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created with the aim to use as currency, we should give it the same mean Wink
2492  Economy / Economics / Re: March 2017 , february 2017, january 2017, 2016’s top cryptocurrencies on: April 14, 2017, 04:37:48 PM
Cryptocurrencies to me is merely investment items having zero utilities. Investment in cryptocurrencies is similar to betting on horse race, you earn if your horse leads. Bitcoin is real king and so far has created its existence in financial system.
Altcoins on the other hand hardly accepted by merchants and consider if merchant accept altcoins, he only accepts if alts are convertible in Bitcoin.
2493  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 14, 2017, 04:26:59 PM
...

I have long written that diversification is a very smart idea.  No one can predict the future, etc.  But discussed below is another reason not be 100% in ANY investment, at least for long.  I ran into this argument at a gold blog.

Imagine that you are 100% invested, "All Inn", in gold.  Even if the price of gold were to go way up, there is still a big risk that many don't see.  Namely what happens if there is a big price drop JUST when the owner might NEED to sell (eg, an unexpected emergency).  If our imaginary friend bought in at $1275 gold (approx. price today), and then price drops to $900 (Martin Armstrong predicts a sharp price drop like this, prior to a big price rise, a "slingshot" price rise after its initial drop).

And then, just at a bad time for the gold owner, he might need money (US dollars) to cover an unexpected $200,000 medical bill.  And he if forced to sell his gold at a 25% loss to cover his bills...  Ouch!  It would hurt even more should gold then go to $2500 per ounce.

So, it is unwise to be All Inn on gold, even if we were to be very sure that $2500 gold is coming.

The above scenario would hold for Bitcoin as well, or anything else to be held long-term.

Some of us gold owners have a saying: "Protect the precious."  That means keep some powder dry (CA$H on hand) for the unexpected.

Oh, I thought I would get something fresh in my plate. But you killed my expectations by giving me similar dish with somehow different recipe. Cheesy
Well, yes. It is obvious. Diversification or Portfolio building is first lesson in investment world. This is done to ensure maximum gain from high-yielding securities like Gold as well at the same time to remove contingencies of unexpected losses by investment in debt securities.
2494  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 14, 2017, 04:03:29 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Bitcoin as its individual identity doesn't involves corruption. Being an open-source traceable currency you can't expect corruption in its ecosystem. Until and unless if you consider paying high fees to miner to speed up confirmation process to be a bribe. Cheesy
Well coming to other side. The money value of Bitcoin remove every expectation of utopia. In case of Bitcoin too, human greed pops up leading to corruption as usual.
2495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Service (free or paid) to make confirmations on transaction faster? on: April 14, 2017, 03:55:07 PM
My situation is that my transaction confirms comes very slowly and the fee is small sending from my wallet.

So guys , any more tips links to paid service? maybe some person doing it?

Need more resourses

I gave you a website above, but If the problem comes from your wallet then you should change it and use something that use the recommended fees and give you the ability to change them If needed. Mycelium for example let you make transaction high priority while sending.

Yes, in Mycelium there is 3 tier fees system namely High, Normal and Low. Depending on one's requirement, he/she can go for respective fees. Alternatively, my recommendation is Coinbase. Coinbase has most dynamic fees recommending system. Its fees very in real time and with its recommended fees transaction takes maximum of 30-40 minutes to confirm.
2496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Service (free or paid) to make confirmations on transaction faster? on: April 13, 2017, 04:13:51 PM
The best way to make transaction faster is to use HIGH fees while sending Bitcoin, isn't that simple. Grin These sites are not much effective.
2497  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: XAPO log in problems on: April 13, 2017, 04:11:41 PM
Does anyone these days have the problem with loging in into Xapo mobile application?
Every time I try to log in in the past two days I get the verification code on my mobile phone but at the same time also the message that the code is wrong and can't be verified.
On the other hand the Xapo web site is working normal and I have access to my account.
What could be wrong with mobile app?

Yeah! I come up with similar problem. The problem is not with verification code but with auto-verification. In such case, what one need to do is let the code come on mobile. When they write wrong code, cancel it and write code manually and there you go. You will get access to app.

Thanks, it's working, I've just tried.
But I've also noticed that verification code is different than before, it has 6 digits and the dash. And when you enter the code manualy you shouldn't put the dash otherwise it's not accepted.
Probably this is some kind of bug, hope they will fix it soon.

No, it is not a bug or error. It is simply a way of writing long numbers to make them easy remember. Likewise phone numbers, we have 1800-XXX-XXXX. It is just to make code eye-catchy.
2498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Set to Legalize Bitcoin by 2018, Track Every Transaction on: April 13, 2017, 04:05:06 PM
Another strength to Bitcoin! Earlier Japan and now Russia. It is really hilarious that Russian government thinks it can regulate Bitcoin. It is not as easy as they think. One can easily hold Bitcoin over VPN network. However, recognition by Russia will further add to demand for Bitcoin. Hence more boost to prices.
2499  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 13, 2017, 04:01:00 PM

That made me laugh a little bit, they don't have money but numbers Cheesy Sad, but also slightly true.
It is the same thing with the retirement pensions, in my country people who work now and pay taxes for that purpose, does not collect their money to have them withdrawn as a old age pension every month.
Instead of, they give their money to the goverment to be able to pay the people that are old right now.
So the conclusion is that it is like a giant ponzi, someday it will collapse.

I think that the same thing may happen with banks, but we need some smart replacement- and we are not ready yet.

The two are clearly distinct. The old age pension system in your country is a type of fix payment (liability) for your government. But when banks pay off loans to borrowers, they are generating asset not liability. In first case receiver is liability for party whereas in second case receiver is asset for party. You need to take out bad about banks from your mind, man!
