Is this legal first of all?
the question should be why do you need it. If you decide you want to be a 1337 hax0r and DDoS people, this could help.

People need to take better care of their services, too many are going to shit recently.

I don't see why he doesn't just disable any API usage. There's no point providing it if he isn't going to keep it up. At least he's changed a bit of the site, it's been too long with no contact.
I'll probably be making a faucet script myself when I get some time and internet again, so people can use that.

I use BitAds right now, but I don't get a lot from them.
You mean AdBit? BitAds went rogue ages ago.

I don't understand what you're asking. Either way, this should probably be in the Service Discussion section or the thread for the site (if there is one).

The price is too high. Lower it if you ever want it to sell.

It appears that this vulnerability may have finally been fixed by Skype. Using regular resolvers I can no longer get an IP from my Skype contact, and Skyripper has confirmed that he cannot either. Just for a backup, try checking this option in your Skype settings.

Simply to check if methods I have put in place work, I will pay you 0.001 to try and find my IP from Skype. Pm me.

some problem from my hosting provider
Which hosting provider were you using? I've used several and none have had a problem before.

If you're asking for people to advertise, you may get more attention in the Digital Goods section, or maybe Auctioning it off.

I read their TOS and Program-Guidelines but I didn't find any restriction about faucets, maybe I am poor at understanding things. ~~MZ~~ You're right, there is nothing saying that there you cannot advertise on a GPT site or similar. However, there are some things that could work against them. Receive majority of their traffic from US / UK / Canada
This could be a problem, as a large amount of my traffic is always from Russia and Ukraine. It is usually followed up by the US, whether this is seen as a majority is up to media.net I suppose. Do not contain excessive advertising
This could also be a problem, as advertising is really the only way that faucet's make the money to pay their users. On top of this, the minimum payout is $100, which is quite steep for a faucet needing to get user funds.
|
|
|
Don't media.net limit what sites they let in, and are usually against faucet type sites?

More than 2 years and this exploit has not been still fixed, it's very strange.
They're too busy making pointless layout updates to fix a massive security bug. It's perfectly logical.

I'm not using illegal methods. Skype knew about this issue for years, and until they don't get it fixed, everybody can use this exploit.
Maybe try to contact the skype support and explain them the "exploit" I'm sure they will give you a "bounty". It's been noted and I believe acknowledged by Skype, they just haven't solved it. http://www.cnet.com/uk/news/skype-exploit-reveals-user-ip-addresses/'Skype said it is looking at the issue.' - 30th April 2012

You're not going to get many requests after only a few hours. Give it a week-a month or so.

This art is amazing, if I had some space and money I would buy one.
Also, the first Bitcoin Monochromatiks painting has a broken link, just replace the , with a . in the url.

what is best faucet script or ideas to block the bot.
Solvemedia captcha is pretty good and it does block bots I think. Try the demo in their website. I have tried it and the bot was unable to solve it. Don't know if any new bot born now. ~~MZ~~ From the bot mentioned a page or two back, no captcha will stop it. This is because it uses human captcha solvers, instead of having a program that does it. Also, I made a list of ad networks for anyone that is starting a faucet and wants something other than Adsense. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=911720.msg10011807#msg10011807
