1501  Other / Meta / Re: what happens if someone reaches 1000000 post count? on: November 27, 2015, 05:51:41 PM
If someone reaches a million posts; what happens then!
It will happen eventually for some users if they have their account for a long time.
I was just wondering what would happen? Would they get banned for spamming?
I very highly doubt that the forum will last long enough for someone to gain 1,000,000 posts. Even if someone posted 20 posts per day every day without fail, it would take them over 136 years to get to 1,000,000.
Of course it would also be case by case. If the user made 1,000,000 useful posts they would of course not be banned. If the user tried to make 1,000,000 spam posts they would likely be banned after the first thouand or so.

Also, you can see the stats of users/the forum here. It could likely answer any further questions you have about records.

Also that new measure that ask to turn off AddBlock and Private Browsing in Firefox prevents in most cases using of faucet even if I disable both?
That's due to Firefox implementing a new feature where external services can't track you in Private Browsing. I quite like it, though you can just turn it off by clicking on the shield and pressing this:

That should stop any captcha malfunctions or anti-adblock scripts.

Something like this could be interesting to add, the time when DPR almost lost 40kBTC and gave someone a 100BTC reward for helping him.

1504  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Steadyturtle down? on: November 27, 2015, 11:07:28 AM
I am sorry, what is an ISP?
Internet Service Provider.

I now am using safari on my Ipad and mozilla firefox on my windows laptop.
I will download tor for my pc, also what would you recommend for ipad, which browser?
Try resetting your router if you haven't already, and also try using an app such as CyberGhost or PrivateInternetAccess to route your internet traffic elsewhere and see if you can access the sites after that.
1505  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod you are an asshole! on: November 27, 2015, 11:03:56 AM
You're running a ponzi scheme. Despite your best intentions, these are impossible to run on the long term (unless you have a very large amount of disposable income you are willing to spend on the site's payouts) and will eventually collapse and scam. I would say that perhaps the negative should be replaced with a neutral, as those browsing the Investor-based games section should know what they are getting into, though I would say some form of feedback is completely necessary.
1506  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please give me negative trust. on: November 27, 2015, 10:52:56 AM
By the time it's January 1st, this site will be shut down.
Good joke. Much worse sites have been running for much longer, this one will be staying up until Bitcoin dies.

This reminds me of another attention-grabber. Anybody guess who?

Heh. Got to say, I'm feeling a bit uneasy about OP.
1507  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stunna, primedice owner. Would you give a hearthless guy your money? on: November 27, 2015, 10:48:49 AM
Now, if I were at his place, after have earned 15k$ from an idiot which is losing its kids, I would give back 1/5 of it as a loan. I know any human with some hearth would.
And the proof that you wouldn't just take the money and run would be? Just because you dropped $15k in a gambling site doesn't mean that the owner owes anything to you, including his trust.

So I suggest you to bet your money if you really want somewhere else. Maybe cloudbet I heard is good.
If your tactic is the same, I really doubt that CloudBet will give you a loan either. Plus, I believe they are two completely different games.

Works fine for me, might be a problem on your end.
1510  Other / Meta / Re: How many posts are needed for the different member ranks on: November 25, 2015, 11:46:01 AM
So let's say you post 9,000 posts, or however many posts you need to become legendary.
You do that all in 2 weeks.
You wait several weeks without posting and then you're legendary...?
There are two week intervals, in each interval I believe you can get a max of 14 activity points if you make 14 posts in that interval. It doesn't matter if you make 14 or 100 posts in that two weeks, you will only get 14 activity points.

Also, why is this in meta? This should be in Beginners and Help/ Questions
It fits in either. It's about the forum so it's posted in Meta.
1511  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 〖ⓉⓊⓉⓄⓇⒾⒶⓁ〗 Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: November 24, 2015, 08:17:20 PM
hi i pasted it and it ended like that.some scripts that can be seen by visitors.here is  themes/default/index.html.twig as pasted.can anyone tell me where to paste it?
Quote
snip
Replace this line:
<form action="{{ urlFor('reward') }}" novalidate="novalidate" method="POST" class="form">

Also, try putting your PHP codes in the head in the file layout.html.twig. It's not that great practice to put them in the body imo.
1512  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 〖ⓉⓊⓉⓄⓇⒾⒶⓁ〗 Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: November 24, 2015, 07:13:28 PM
sorry bros again me. i did the first step and how can i learn that i did true. second where do ı have to paste the fourth one in Paytoshi. and also if you want to smile a while you can go to my faucet to see how i made it.this way http://stonefaucet.esy.es/ just below the head.
No problem, we're here to help. AFAIK you paste the fourth block of code on themes/default/index.html.twig at around line 30, though the script wasn't built for Paytoshi so I'm not sure the outcome will be.
You also seem to have some PHP showing on your faucet. You should probably try to fix that.
1513  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: November 24, 2015, 05:29:55 PM
Am I the only one that has something positive to say about faucetbox?

I can see most of you walking into trouble but I've never had a problem with faucetbox so far.
A lot of the people here post for support on the problems they are having, that doesn't make a service or script bad. A great deal of these posts are about add-ons to the script.
I expect that a lot of the faucet owners here would agree that FaucetBox is a great service.
1514  Other / Meta / Re: End the negative appearance of Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. on: November 23, 2015, 10:15:46 PM
And no minfrj I did not read your post, tl;dr.
tl;dr she posted a few good posts and did a few good things but that doesn't make up for the huge crock of shit she dumped on this forum. IMO she doesn't deserve to be let back.
1515  Other / Meta / Re: End the negative appearance of Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. on: November 23, 2015, 10:11:52 PM
Will you please stop bumping her thread if you hate her so much?
I'm giving you replies to your questions. Stop asking them if you don't want me to post.

And will you please stop responding to me in quotes like that?
I find this better than quoting a huge post and referencing individual bits of it in a reply underneath. You can see clearly what points I am addressing with my replies.

I am not reading all of that. It's just too much. Quote me like a normal person.
Mature.
1516  Other / Meta / Re: End the negative appearance of Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. on: November 23, 2015, 10:06:41 PM
In this specific situation, the definition of PROMOTE is ADVERTISE. Somebody like OP knitting a Bitcoin sweater and posing in it on her Instagram which has 5k of followers while she explains the properties of Bitcoin to her followers would be considered more effective promotion.
It could help, though personally I still don't see it to excuse over 1000 posts of shit made on these forums. Might just be me though.

And actually, yes, 5 great posts can easily cancel out small insignificant ones made in the off topic forum.
Same as the above I suppose.

If you didn't like her, you should have been mature enough to just ignore her. I did a good job of ignoring their obviously silly threads in off topic and just paid attention to their brilliant ones.
As did I for the majority, only I didn't find these 'brilliant threads' you talk about. I just saw floods of her shit in Off Topic. Call me judgmental, though if I see a lot of bad qualities outweighing one or two good ones I tend to sway more to the side of bad than good.

Also, speak for yourself. Don't speak for someone else.
*cough*

So, what have YOU done to promote?
I've ran GPT sites since early 2014, and have helped a lot of people with their services and with any code problems they may be having. In addition to this, I also wrote a guide for a newbie setting up a website to help other newbies actually get their hands on some coin. This thread isn't about me though, so let's not go any further into this here.
1517  Other / Meta / Re: End the negative appearance of Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. on: November 23, 2015, 09:44:29 PM
No, she didn't deserve it. Do your research before judging someone.

snip

Read all of that, and tell me that isn't a Bitcoin activist?
A few decent posts doesn't make up for over 1000 shit ones.

Not trying to offend you here, but what big projects have you done to promote?
Lauda plays an integral part on stopping spam here, as they are a member of the staff team. Since this forum is so large, it would be a cesspool if people like Lauda weren't here to help. Personally, I see members such as Lauda's contribution much larger to Bitcoin than anything by someone like codishmumu.

She can't contact her customers without her account
If only there were some other way to contact people other than a Bitcoin Forum.

She's too scared to even come back on a mule because of the way you have all treated her.
If she came back on mule for anything other than a ban appeal she would be banned again. It's probably for the best.

It's honestly shameful that adults can act this way.
Not everyone on the internet is an adult, just saying. Also, when she stops acting like this forum is her personal playground and stops posting shit everywhere, I'm sure that people would stop posting shit towards her as well. However, if a person can't handle with criticism and insults without acting like a child, they probably shouldn't be on the internet.

Why did you repost this again and delete your previous post? Just let this thread die, that account is permabanned.
I wouldn't be surprised if you were behind that account, but that's none of my business.

Refrain from calling posts "nonsense". That sounds like trolling. I'd expect better from a staff member.
Their posts are nonsense. He's not trolling by stating a fact.

From what I've seen, her threads get bumped all the time in the BTC forum. She also gets people posting in her off topic threads.
Create a general thread like 'Do you drink water?' and you will get hundreds of newbies spamming for their signature campaigns. Off topic threads don't mean anything.

What I've noticed is that we are actually getting more people to sign up because of her.
How did you come to that conclusion? If you're going to use their Off Topic threads as an argument, think about if we really want people that spam the forum with shit replies just to earn some dust off of a signature campaign here.

She is my business partner, and I need her here, so.
Tough, they aren't getting unbanned.
1519  Other / Meta / Re: How many posts are needed for the different member ranks on: November 23, 2015, 02:11:30 PM
*Except in cases of posts in Archival(not sure) or trash
I would expect for them to count in Archival due to them being still view able by a user. AFAIK posts in trash are essentially removed from a user's post count, so they wouldn't count regardless.
1520  Other / Meta / Re: How many posts are needed for the different member ranks on: November 23, 2015, 02:08:08 PM
Your activity and posts are actually two separate forms of work. I believe activity is based on where you post.
No. Activity goes up by the amount you post in each 2 week interval, with a max of 14. Where you post makes no difference.
