Arsenal seem to be ready for the probable offers for their striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. And we know already about some of the contenders that want to sign him. For example, Barcelona seem to be one of the most serious teams about signing him in this January. Because they would really make use of a solid striker now to play more effective in attacking. Aubameyang would still do a great job.

Auba has been a disaster at Arsenal, he’s probably past his best now & doesn’t have the motivation to fight any more. He just doesn’t have the desire to push himself. Arsenal should cut their losses & sign somebody younger with drive & determination to better themselves & improve. It’s best for both parties if he moves on.
2503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2021, 12:58:17 PM
A Greek poker told me to buy in early 2014, I ignored him & thought it was a load of rubbish. I started buying in May 2014 after thinking ‘why not’. Let’s just say it worked out very well for me & I owe that guy my life.
My advice to noobs would be, it’s never too late to invest. Just buy & be patient, set up a savings plan. Bitcoin can be your key to get out of the rat run & start living, not purely existing.

Liverpool vs Leeds has been postponed due to a COVID outbreak in the Leeds squad. I’m disappointed because I have tickets for this one.

The EFL Cup match, Liverpool - Leicester was very amusing to me. It was no different than a Premier League match actually. There was a high level competition between these teams. After seeing Liverpool's starting eleven, I thought that Leicester would be able to eliminate them. And they were really near doing it also. They brought the score to 3-1 at some point and took a deep breath. But Liverpool really made a great comeback in the last minute. And by the penalties, they managed to eliminate Leicester. But it was really a great match to me.

It was a great game for a neutral, not so much if you’re a Leicester or LFC fan. Way too much action & nervous time Cheesy
Like you said though, with the team Klopp selected, it doesn’t look good for Leicester that they couldn’t win.

Yeah definitely keep this updated. I’m desperate to see that POS get what he deserves. It’s about time he was consigned to the history books for what he is, a liar & a fraudster.

Nice one Steve, takes a lot of nerves to play on exact score like that  Shocked

Anyone watched Arsenal vs Sunderland EFL Cup?
Arsenal smashed it with five goals and final score 5:1, and young Nketiah scored 3 goals in this match!
Busy schedule for gunners, next 3 rounds in Premier League they play with Norwich, Wolves and Manchester City, and soon after they have FA Cup match with Nottingham.

So Arsenal vs Liverpool & Spurs vs Chelsea in the semi finals. The games will be played over 2 legs, home and away. Will be interesting to see what happens, this competition is always so tough to predict because the big clubs rest their star players. Should be exciting games though regardless. If my beloved LFC don’t win the trophy then I would like Arsenal to due to the sportsbet.io link.

Liverpool - Leeds game is a really nice one. We can watch a high-scoring game here I believe. Even Liverpool by themselves can score 4 or 5 goals I think. Leeds have a big vulnerability in their defense line now and Liverpool are the best team when it comes to scoring. They are the top scorer team in the standings with 50 goals. And Leeds are the second most conceding team now. Liverpool would just destroy them in this.

If we can’t beat Leeds at home then we don’t have any chance of winning the title. I do think this will be a resounding LFC win though, I think Leeds are in trouble. We should win this one comfortably.
2513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 22, 2021, 09:25:52 AM
And for TV it would be chance to make commercial break Cheesy. Football is one of rare sports which can't be interrupted for 45 minutes at least and I think it's way too long for TV.
But in general, I don't see problems about VAR. It works well in all leagues except EPL. Maybe coach challenge isn't bad idea, but I think one challenger per game would be enough.

The problem isn’t VAR, the problem is the idiots using it. PL officials are some of the most incompetent in European football, certainly in the top European leagues. You never see this many bad decisions in the CL. If we can see our clubs buy the best players then why can’t the FA/PL employ the best referees in the world? I’m sick of English officials ruining games. Titles can be decided by small margins, teams can be relegated by small margins, these idiots have VAR to ensure the rules are properly applied. Mistakes by referees should be minimal due to having VAR to help.

Any way enough ranting, let’s look to the Boxing Day games boys.

COVID destroying the festive fixture calendar in the UK. This does not make me happy, maybe Newcastle can get something from Man City to cheer me up. A Christmas miracle? I won’t get my hopes up.
Not only in UK, it's also happening in US as lots of NBA players have been placed in covid-19 protocol, and in fact, tonight we have 2 games that are confirmed postponed. I'm afraid the NBA season will be halted again because of the growing cases of people infected with covid-19.

Interesting to see it’s similar over your side of the pond too. I hope it doesn’t get too much worse.

Any way good news, the PL clubs met today & decided there won’t be a circuit breaker -

I’ve engaged both publicly & privately with both Ratimov & Lauda so no, I don’t think they are controlled by the same entity. Lauda was OK at certain times but far more blunt & less emotive, kind etc.

Basically Ratimov is a much nicer person.

I wonder if he has access to any of those coins. 4100BTC is no joke, if he took even 5% of those supposedly hacked coins for himself then he could be in jail for a significant amount of time.

Something to consider boys…….

I was considering posting this whole thread, but I HAD to check, because I knew you probably already were faster than me.

On the same line of analysis we can add the following:

The selling of Bitcoin during Asian times, due to the necessity of dumping all the coins because EOY, has been contrasted by EU and US buying their times:

@fillippone

Maybe the bull isn’t over after all. There are not many things in life that would make me happier if I am honest. I sold 25% between $53,8xx & $65,000 but I can stomach that if we pump to new ath’s in 2022 Smiley

Edit - Sorry for your loss, AlcoHoDL. Really sad news, I hope the family will look after those left behind.
