2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 09, 2017, 08:30:53 AM
Gambling always gives birth to curiosity, the more we lose a lot of balance, the greater our curiosity to gamble. This is commonplace. Because our brains are running normally, dissatisfaction and curiosity always appear in our minds

This thought arises when we experience unexpected gambling losses, so our minds continue to fluctuate to pursue capital and make a profit. But the fact 80% of people even spend it all because it can not handle emotions. This includes very bad habits.

People always want to get the best out of all their actions. Gamblers will continue to strive to achieve the best results with every effort. But unfortunately, when in unfavorable conditions, most gamblers will lose their senses. They tend to act on their emotions alone.
2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: August 08, 2017, 10:26:55 PM
Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires. Cheesy
Thx for bounties! Good jewelry.

Waiting for several years while continuing to monitor price movements will be a challenge in itself that will be difficult to deal with. Some lucky people with bounty usually forget that they have a coin and after a few years and the price has soared, they just remember that they have the coin.

2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: August 08, 2017, 01:52:31 PM
No, gambling is not worth playing when there is no money or it is the last money. Gambling is not created for making money and there you can only lose them.

You have no money then why it's not worth to try your luck? That's when I'm starting to become more encourage and eager to gamble. When I don't have something to gamble, there is no money for the capital you'll use. And by having a little coming from other people is up to you on how you will take the risk of growing it.
Its your choice since its your own decision on taking the risk, if you feel that you are lucky on that day and can able to grow those others money then its your decision here but this thing is really very risky because you dont have money and if you lose those money you will surely be buried on big debt.

It's not that literally you will use others money, you will have some debt on them and ask them first before gambling. We know that it is a bad manner of using others money without asking. I did these before and it's effective for me, maybe for me but not for some others. Excuses when it comes to gambling are coming out from a desperate gambler.
Actually to gamble we do not need a excuses because gambling is a choice that where you should know there will be an impact that you get, that's why i never think how much money that i has been spent or get from gambling.

We don't need excuses but sometimes it is the reason we had to think of just to cover our shame when we are losing. You are different with me and others, as I keep on thinking on how much I did lost and there's always a what if that comes to my mind. Like what if I didn't gamble by that day, the day when I lost a lot.
Certainly, we do not need excuses to gamble or to hide our wrong decisions. But sometimes we do come up with silly excuses to consolidate our selves for the losses we had been through. Deep inside we all know that excuses are useless and temporary relief.

We really can't help ourselves when we lose, we keep on making excuses or we are making up a reason to cover up our wrong gambling decision. Just like me, when I am losing big money I'm just telling and keep on telling myself that I had fun and that's enough to pay for the fun that I've got from gambling for this day.
We would think on other ways so that we wont stress ourselves on thinking on those mistakes but its really hard when we do really lose big amounts our minds will surely recall it no matter what and this is the reason why do we make our self even stressed out and make decision on playing again because you do like to get those loses back again and able to repay the debt from others money.

That is a thinking of a problematic gambler and very dangerous once it gets out of hand. You can't pay a debt with another debt and we can't think that we can cover our losses with our wins because in truth, we are only compiling our losses more and more and in the end we are only putting ourselves into a deeper hole. That coupled with our depression due to losses would lead to so many more problems like rage and worse death.

It'll be hard to try to recover our previous lost with loan money. The sense will be different compared if we use our own money. Must win is the only target when we use other's money. And such pressure will make our gambling actions more difficult.

2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth using bitcoins anymore for gambling ? on: August 08, 2017, 11:05:13 AM
I feel my bankroll management and savings all are highly unstable. Can go up or down by storing money in bitcoin to gamble. Some form of betting like poker requires good bankroll management and with value changing everyday, I don't see bitcoin as a good use for poker players and sportsbettors.

I don't think it's a problem. If the bitcoin's price goes up, just lower your base bet and vice versa. bitcoin is just a currency, and it should be considered as cash, at least in gambling

Usually there's minimum bet in sportsbook and with the price increase maybe such minimum bet will be too big for some people. But I am sure, most casinos will decrease it to reflect the price changing. So, using bitcoin shouldn't be a problem.
2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 07, 2017, 08:30:52 PM
Yes, to quit gambling, you must have something else to do instead. I tried so many times but after I received my salaries, I kept gambling for many times, it's just like something wanted me to gamble and I can help controlling myself to get away from gambling.
Yes, do something else useful like working is a way to quit from gambling but it's really hard to if you are really addicted with gambling (because suffered with lose before or won the jackpot from there and want to play it again and again) . Although it's not instant to do but it may worth your patience when you are quit from gambling.
keep yourself busy with your whole day work really prevent you to gamble , i mean when you have no time to gamble and too tired to even make a deposit that time you'll never care anymore to gamble. so find a job that require you to work more than 8 hours with a worth paycheck of course, it wasn't easy but it would be the best option you have there i guess.

There are still plenty of other stuffs we can do to try to forget gambling. keep away from the stuff that will remind us to gambling, keep away from friends that still become active gamblers, etc. But for sure, which method will work best depends on each person. It requires time and efforts!
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Or Not ( make Rollin.io down ) on: August 07, 2017, 06:29:10 PM
There is nothing wrong with that picture. I saw people betting even at higher win of chance than the one shown in the picture, like 98% and with huge amount of money too. But for sure, if people did it very often, that will be very bad.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: August 07, 2017, 02:47:20 PM
When has achieved profit of about 10%, then i immediately get out of casino. Because i realize, if i keep playing can be sure i will lose.
This is good, and we can make one target once we reach that amount we must stop our game. Then only we will see profit in gambling. Otherwise gambling always give us only loss we will never make a profit. I will not make any target, but if I feel that I am losing more games, i will stop my play. And suppose if we win multiple games that day I will not play more games. I will stop my play and withdraw my winning amount.
Do not ever hope that gambling game can make us become rich. I agree that when we already get a few percent profit then it's better to stop and continue later. We all know that gambling is a risky game and is also dependent on luck, so do not expect to make a profit again once we've gained the advantage before. Believe me everything can turn 180 degrees in the gambling game.

A plan is indeed the most important thing in getting something beneficial, because with a plan we have a level of thought that little good in looking at all the things that exist. But indeed the plan will never give a good result if we cannot walk in a safe way or don't have good self control. Because a self control will determine we to keep it running quietly or running badly.be someone smart in analyze and smart in seeing the situation

Even with a good plan, sometimes something can change it during our game easily. Emotion is the most common thing that will change it and it's hard to avoid it. Any good method to always stick with our initial plan?
2510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: August 07, 2017, 09:19:49 AM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley
For me trading is not a gambling kind. But it can't be deny that trading has risk involved, while gambling is not a form of assets once you try to play in the gambling sites. Gambling has a full of risk, where  the capital investment of the player usually goes into loses of money
most of the time.
Actually they are all full of risk but majority of people who tried both would say that trading is better for them because they lose easily in gambling.
Even for me, I would choose trading over gambling because I can choose whether I will focus on long term trades or short term trade like being a day trader, if I spend more time I can have a better chance of succeed compared to what I can get in gambling if I spend the same time.

True, the chance to get profit from trading is better than gambling. But, in short term trading especially when we focus on the price movement, sometimes our mind will be affected by such movement. We tend to change our decisions based solely on temporary movements. In this case, I consider trading as gambling.
2511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2017, 08:09:20 AM
Rushed to sell bitcoin for fear that the price would go down but in fact it went up drastically is my biggest mistake. But regret is useless. At least we could learn something from our previous mistake, no risk no honey!

Bitsler has become the best crypto gambling site I no longer think primedice is on top. Good work guys keep it up

I have been burning a lot of my money there and the instant deposits make it so easy haha
How do you really rank prime dice and bitsler, both sites have a fan following and there are players who are using both the sites to gamble, you could tell that they are the best gambling sites when it comes to bitcoin based sites, but according the number of visitors bitsler is far higher than prime dice for sure.
I guess that when comparing we need to have the exact numbers so that we can back up our assumptions, and what Marma Kalari said are correct based on their Alexa Ranking Bitsler is ranked 15,336 globally and primdice on the other hand is ranked 39,585 globally which is more than double. There is no doubt in the numbers that Bitsler is a more popular betting site compared to primedice.

Bitsler main advantage is admin always runs good promotions to attract more and more players and bitsler also got other games as well not only just dice game. In the case of primedice they got only dice game. People can easily get bored of only one game and they can move other sites to play other games but bitsler give the option to switch the games and players can continue playing. Overall bitsler has grown very fast because of admin hard-work.

Bitsler admin is also very responsible. Whenever they make mistakes, as I witnesses, they will give us bonus to cover up our bad moods because of such mistake. That's what distinguishes bitsler from other sites.
2513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: August 06, 2017, 07:45:07 PM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

I can't imagine if bitcoin became a currency and widely used by people as payment method daily. The price of stuffs we will buy can be changed from time to time and that will make our life even harder.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 06, 2017, 04:49:08 PM
I hate to see that I wasn't able to dump it too early as I need to import it with bitcoin abc wallet or any working wallet that can get generate my BCH's. And what's another bad situation is that the exchanges aren't allowing some deposits so by that time the was still too high and it was too late now as it is being dump and will be drop dead soon.

I have not even tried to claim it. I read unpleasant things from people's stories here, so I'm still scared. And the ever-falling price trend adds to my list of inconveniences.
2515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 06, 2017, 04:00:11 PM
It depends on each person how to see, read, and patiently about the rise and fall of the btc. So it can be a reference to sell or buy our btc according to market information. For btc no word is late to sell.

According to some forecasts, bitcoin can reach a very high price. Several times more than we see now. And I believe in it. Therefore, it can be said that it is not too late to buy bitcoin.

We can trade bitcoin too instead of hold it and wait for the next massive price increase. The price range is very good if we can catch the right moment. 100 dollar looks easier to gain with 1 Bitcoin as first fund. It can be reach in a day or two. And we can repeat such step as often as we want.
2516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 06, 2017, 08:30:31 AM
That is why all you need to gamble your money you can afford to lose. In that way you don't need to think of winning/lossing the game just enjoy gambling and in the end if you lose is ok and much better if you win.   Better if you just gamble moderately problem is if you get addicted to it so you really need to have control for yourself. Problem with gambling is the more you lose the more you want to gain back your losts.

If you only think about having fun and you dont care about wether you win or lose then there is no point for you to gamble. In the end you are gambling to get money no matter how you want to justify yourself but it is the only reason that someone play. If you want to lose and just to have fun then that is a waste of money

I have to say fun and agree with you since I'm in the negative. Not by a big amount but enough to make a bit of a difference.
Surely i would want profit bit it have to say for fun   Tongue

I think it's just a matter of control. I sometimes lack that so i stick to playing with small amounts.
Whether you're negative or positive doesn't gonna concern. Each and every user here in gambling is expecting for a profit. If the term earning is not available in gambling this could have been considered same as the other entertainment source. Just because of the profiting chance it has been more popular and more legitimate gambling websites are emerging regularly.

Every gambler needs profit, no doubt about it. But the main difference between gambling for fun and gambling for profit is not in that matter. Gambler for fun will not take risks that could undermine their finances, meaning they will not impose their luck when they have lost some of the money they allocate for gambling. They won't try to chase their lose just like most gamblers for profit did.
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you would win a Jackpot what would you do with the money? on: August 05, 2017, 01:11:16 PM
First of all, I doubt that I will ever win huge Jackpot like that. Winning 200 BTC at this point seems crazy fortune to be honest.
I very much doubt I will be able to keep my composure and save all the money/invest it - instead I would definitely need to spend some of it.
Life is too short to keep holding BTC forever, with a big amount like this I would spend 50BTC on a luxury car and other extravagant goods.

Jackpot is something that will be very very difficult to get and I am sure most people will also feel doubt whether they can get it or not. Only super lucky person will be able to get it. With such huge amount of money, I can't even imagine how to use all of those money without attracting the attention of others ( people around me ). They for sure will ask me, where did you get that much money? What should I say? To tell to them that I hit jackpot in gambling site will give me a problem since indirectly I will tell to them that I am a gambler while I try to keep this habit secretly.
2518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: August 05, 2017, 09:14:55 AM
In a casino we can bet whenever we want and the result will be known in seconds. While at sports, we can bet only when there are some events that interest us. And to know the result, we have to wait until the game ended. So for me, gambling in casino is a bit riskier than at sports.
2519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 04, 2017, 07:35:45 PM
I occasionally gambling. For myself, sometimes felt shameful if someone else knows i'm gambling. Although i gambled online. I chose to gamble hidden and too with small balance.
If you're embarrassed to gamble but you still want to gamble, you'd better keep it up stealthily. If gambling is a shame for you and for the people in your place, then you have to keep it a secret. Better to keep gambling online for safer.
In some countries, gambling is prohibited. If they find any gamblers they will treat them like a cheap people. That means they think we don't have any job to work, so we addict to gambling to make easy money. That is why people try to hide their gambling activities with others. I can do gambling, but I will not go and share with others if the topic comes I will involve and discuss.

Most people in my area who addicted to gambling has no job or they intentionaly left their job for gambling. And imagine, if a person with no income got addicted to gambling, what will they do to fulfill their addictions? Most of them will do bad things and that's why gamblers got their bad name! So, even though we do it in the good way and never harm others while gambling, still we will be considered contemptible.
2520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 04, 2017, 04:56:13 PM
Yes i used to set mostly ×2 or max ×4 of my initial bankroll but lately i have decided to gamble less as it isn't worth anymore as bitcoin is increasing daily and reaching new heights , instead me and few of my friends to start doing some trading as market is really low now and can be a good start for us
yes that is too much important to have limit in bitcoin because if you do not have any limit then your all investment is in risk. because to use all the money you have in one time in bitcoin is not a good decision.

Yes. Because we all know that gambling is a very risky strategy that a person will face. So that in strategy of setting limits are one of the best way in order to control your money and to overcome the greedy attitude and to know wheter you will be winning or losing.

Exactly, everybody will become greedy in the form of winning and losing. So it is best to people who are gambling because without limitation it is not possible to control our emotions whether it is a winning situation or losing situation.
When random winning and losing happens automatically user will get addicted. To overcome addiction all that required is set our own limits and gamble. This makes gambling effective and minimize lose. When noticed majority of users who have lost big haven't had their own limitations.
Why settle for a minimal loss when you can avoid it all in all and just focus on accumulating btc. I mean i'm not against it, but does it really make a big difference whether you put s limit on your gambling or not? As long as you're gambling, you're bound to lose.

Limits on how much money we can afford to lose and keep it in that way would at least reduce the possibility to get the worst result, losing a lot or even going bankrupt in a single gambling session only.
