I would call India unlucky not to qualify for the semi finals as they started the tournament with good performances. However, later they lose their momentum. On the other hand, England women's team started the tournament with losses in their initial matches but they bounced back well in the later matches and finally qualified for the semi finals.
You can't use same excuse again n again, hearing this excuse since 2017 when they lost the finals against the England. Point is our girls are not learning anything from their mistakes, they keep choking on key moments and virtually no consistency. Less we talk about their fitness level and fielding the better. Yes they are talented, no doubt about that but this is also true they are far behind on fitness level when comparing to SENA countries. Then they also have unnecessary rift between senior players. yahh, Women's cricket is already not big enough. And among these teams, India is a very promising team in my opinion. But it's been long and we have seen what promises are worth. Now the promises are just not enough and they have to start delivering.
