Is anyone enjoying the match of Valencia vs Mallorca? Mallorca is the new team this season but their performance is outstanding. Their gameplay is quite stable compared to other teams. So it is tough for Valencia to win this match. Valencia's performance in previous matches was very poor. They have not won the last 5 matches, have lost 3 matches and drawn two. If they can't win against Mallorca, they won't win the next few matches. In the future, they will play against teams like Real Betis, Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad.
No, I personally avoid betting on this match, I really can't bet on a mediocre team. In my view Valencia still has a good history in the past and therefore if I were to bet on this match I would expect Valencia to win despite their poor stats so far. In fact, I was lucky not to include this match in my list of bets, as Mallorca took the lead 0-2 in HT this time. It seems difficult for Valencia to turn things around, but to minimize the defeat it is possible in the second half but to win I don't think Valencia will be able to, maybe a draw can be great but still it will be difficult.

@hahay your analysis is spot on and these matches are difficult to predict, because Valencia’s recent form is not good and yet in paper they’re a better team. Lastly it looks like Valencia will be beaten, but yet 45 minutes plus extra time left for them to score some goals and try and turn it around, but I doubt they’ll be able to do it.

If Juventus have found a suitable replacement for Dybala then it's possible that he could be thrown out as well if the injury is prolonged but I think he can recover and play an important role for Juventus because he is a sharp striker.
It's just a rumor so I don't think Juventus will sell him any time soon because Dybala fits perfectly with Chiesa or Morata.
If the Ramsey is sold, is there a replacement for it?
Or has Juve already determined the candidate?
You know, Dybala is still an integral and important part of Juventus. Though he is not their main striker, he plays more of a roll of a 2nd striker or a support striker, there is no doubt in his capabilities. Last few seasons he hasn't been able to shine so much is because the scoring duty was on Ronaldo. Now that he's gone, Dybala now has the scoring duty again. Hope he returns soon on the pitch and shows what he's capable of. And about the Ramsey transfer, I don't know much about it.
Dybala had already been an important part of Juventus before, but very often remained in the shadow of Ronaldo. Now, after the departure of the great Portuguese to Manchester United, the role of the Dybala should grow many times. I think it's not for nothing that the club has been trying to negotiate a contract extension with the player for several months and it's not for nothing that Pavel Nedved announced the other day that they are very happy to extend the contract with Dibala and are one step away from agreeing everything. By the way, there was news that thieves robbed the house of a Dybala near Turin, breaking the window of the first floor and stole a collection of watches of a football player.

@AndySt I agree people forgot how good he was because of Ronaldo, but once he’s back he has no excuses and has to deliver so people remember once again how good he actually is. Also I don’t think Juventus will sell him, unless a big amount is offered to them, but as far as I know no team has shown any interest in buying him for a high price.

I also hope that Dortmund can win the game against Arminia Bielefeld, so that they can continue to compete with Bayern Munich.
Bielefeld vs Dortmund match will take place this weekend. I'm sure it will be an easy game for Dortmund. getting full points for every game nowadays for Dortmund is a must to keep the distance from Munich.
Bielefeld has played very badly this season. in 8 games have not got a win. despite playing at home, it will still be a tough match for Bielefeld.
I can't imagine that Dortmund will have any problems against Bielefeld even though they have to play without Haaland the difference in terms of individual quality of the players is just to big between those two teams. At the moment Dortmund is very close to Bayern Munich as they are only 1 point behind them, but to be honest i think the quality difference between Bayern and Dortmund is way higher than this 1 point gap might suggest. This was obvious again a few days ago, where Dortmund had zero chance against Ajax Amsterdam, which is only a Tier 2 team in europe while Bayern had zero problems with Benfica Lissabon.

Yeah, This match shouldn't be a problem for Dortmund to win. They have been in good form lately and haven't had that much of a problem in the scoring department even without Haaland. Bellingham has been very good from the start and overall they are playing a very good team game. Competing against Bayern for the title would be very tough but it's worth a shot.

But do not forget, Dortmund are or has always been poor when playing away matches.
The chances of the home team scoring a goal here is high,I am pretty sure they'll want to scale through get three points and sit  at the top of the league but this Gon be a cracker for them, I be having double thoughts because they didn't play as expected during the Champions League defeat to Ajax.

@Ebede while Dortmund is a strong team, but Halland is out due to injury and that’ll be an big issue for them in this fixture and the upcoming fixtures. However I do agree that they should be able to secure the win in today’s fixture, but if the match gets close then Halland presence will surely be missed.

^ If Jofra and Ben come back then I think England has a genuine chance of winning the series because they are two-star players of England who paved the way for their world cup win and the England team can depend on their performance in needed situations. Ben Stokes is one of the best all-rounders and Archer is one of the best bowlers who can help the team tremendously. So England can get their hopes up if these two players play for them against India.

In case of Ben Stokes, it needs to be seen whether he can perform up to his pre-injury level. And Jofra always perform poorly against India. But who knows? If they prepare some bouncy, seaming pitches, then the England bowlers may be able to trouble the Indians. But more than Jofra, I would say that James Anderson represents a bigger threat for the Indians. And as far as batting is concerned, they are dependent on Joe Root. The addition of Stokes may strengthen their middle order, if he manages to score runs.

@Sithara007 you’re right post an injury a player always takes time to recover, but Ben Stokes can recover strongly as he has that winning desire in him. Also with Jofra it’s a confidence issue, and once he’s able to cross this barrier then he’ll be able to perform well against any opponent including team India.

The first matches of the 11th matchday will take place on Friday. Paderborn against Hamburg SV and Aue against Ingolstadt. For Paderborn and Hamburg it is important not to miss the connection to the top.
Aue and Ingolstadt have a classic 6 points game. Important to make points against the relegation.

Again and again I really can't believe that Hamburg can't manage to play a really solid season. This has been the case for years now and given their financial and geographical possibilities, it is a shame how often things go wrong there. They clearly are managed badly, there is no other explanation. It is hard to believe that they will play a role ever in international football over at least the next ten years. It is a bit similar to Hertha BSC. Those clubs believe they purchase a couple of good players and here we go, but it doesn't work like that obviously.

Right now there are 4 injured players for Hamburger SV and 1 suspension and even though Robert Glatzel, Moritz Heyer, and Sonny Kittel is on the team and can play the 4 injured players are mostly for their defensive plays, Stephan Ambrosius, have a Cruciate Ligament Rupture and may return on Nov 1, Tom Mickel, have an Acromioclavicular Separation and his return is unknown, Joshua Vagnoman have torn tendon and his return is unknown, and Maximilian Rohr have Muscle Injury and can return to the team is unknown, While Tim Leibold is currently in suspension, so the favors are not with the Hamburger SV when they really needed the most.

Well, when it comes to their injuries this season you are obviously right of course. But still this season is not an exception, it is the continuation of a story that repeats again and again, even if for different reasons. Nobody can claim that they are so unlucky year after year. No, they just play really bad in very decisive moments. Look at the game against the Kickers the past season. Kickers on last rank, very important three points at risk, and Hamburg loses the game. That's just crazy.

@mv1986 indeed a good team can’t hide behind injuries and it’s all about the mentality, and sadly they haven’t displayed it this season yet. However the season isn’t over, and it’s not too late for them to turn it around so let’s hope that they’ll finally step up their game and start winning matches regularly.

How is that even possible? Oman has its own cricket board. They are importing players for now and in coming years they will have a lot of local talents. Do not forget there are many South-East Asians working in that country. Anyways those players are getting paid well and their performance is not that bad at all.

Oman has been importing players ever since the cricket board was formed in 1979. During the last 42 years, they have failed to field even a single Omani citizen in the national squad. So how can you say that in the future they will have "local talent"? I have seen Oman playing against Bangladesh and Scotland. There was not even a single Omani supporter at the stadium (don't forget that the matches took place in Oman). I don't have a problem with the players getting good salary. But they have no connection to Oman.
Yes exactly if there is not even a single local in the Oman national team it means local talent is not great there. They are importing players from other countries and pays them some  good amount so they come. They need to run some kind of campaign to promote cricket among local peoples.

@Lordshiva this was discussed a while back here, and I too was surprised on learning this fact, and the only way their citizens will get excited if they beat some big team or enter a global tournament. However both seem impossible to happen, and until then I really doubt any local citizen would be keen to play a sport which is not supported by their own fellow citizens.

Two matches of Sri Lanka vs Netherlands and Namibia vs Ireland will be held tomorrow. They will be at the top of Group A if Sri Lanka are not defeated by a very large margin. And in the first match of the main round of the World Cup, they will face Bangladesh. I think Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have a chance to win this one match in the World Cup. Because they are now in a very weak position compared to other opponents.

Netherlands is in very poor form, and therefore I don't think that they have a chance against Sri Lanka. However, the Namibia vs Ireland match is very important. The winner from this match will progress to the next phase and the loser need to play in the qualifier again for the 2022 world cup. Scotland is the only associate side that has managed to impress others in this tournament. All the other sides have performed much below what was expected from them. Anyway.. just two days to go for the India vs Pakistan match. Eagerly looking forward for that.

@Sithara007 I feel that Srilanka will win this match easily, even though their performances are not that great yet I don’t expect them to lose against Netherlands. Also India vs Pakistan is a very important game for both the sides, but do you expect Pakistan to finally beat India in a World Cup, because I’m tempted to wager on India because of their past record.

I was thinking that you are joking then when I checked Shocked
What the hell is this? How? What's going on? How much odds that game was?
Mourinho miscalculated and underestimated the Norwegian team, letting key players rest and he made a record defeat for his career, nice.
I see Spurs defeat also, holup !

As for Bodo vs Roma, I remember that the win for the home team was around ~4.65, and scoring 7+ goals (both teams counting) was ~17.50. Not bad for anyone that believes that the Bodo Glimt will make a party against Mourinho's team. I couldn't! Shocked

I knew Mourinho’s best days are way past him, but never in my wildest imagination did I see his team being beaten by 6 goals, and Bodo deserves the credit for how they destroyed Roma. Also Tottenham is in a mess, wonder how long before the board realises that they aren’t progressing at all.

The head coach of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti has asked the club's management to return Sergio Regilon, according to The Mirror.
Recall that last summer, the "cream" sold the player to Tottenham for 30 million euros. According to the source, the Royal Club can take advantage of the buyback option for 45 million euros.
It is worth noting that Regilon quickly became a key player in the London team and has not yet missed a single Spurs match.
https://www.readfootball.com/real-hochet-vernut-futbolista-kotorogo-nedavno-prodal-244227.html

@kassex considering the good work Ancelotti been doing this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if Real Madrid accepted his wishes and got Regilon back to the club. Also is no one here puzzled what’s happening with Van De Beek, because I’m livid at his condition and Manchester United should sell him and end his nightmare.

Actually both of Pogba'l parents  from Guniea but have settled in France, actually Pogba who was born in France can choose between defending the French or Guniea national team, but instead Pogba prefers France while his two brothers are currently defending the Guniea National Team
Defending the National Team is a form of our loyalty to country and I think, every player certainly has the desire to defend their respective country regardless of the salary they get, but obviously the salary they get from the country is not as big as what they get from the club, but of course defending the country in international tournaments is a matter of pride invaluable to a football player.
I personally hope that if Pogba, who is a in France, does not experience the same thing as what Mesut Ozil got when he was still with the German national team, which when Ozil performed well and Germany won they would treat him quite well, but when Germany lost of course ozil will be blamed and considered a turkish immigrant.

Same for me. I just pray and hope he doesn't get the same treatment as Ozil did. What happened with Ozil is very unfortunate and I still think he should not have been treated like that. It's like when they are winning Ozil was one of there, but once they were losing, it felt like everything was going south because of Ozil which is unfair. Pogba is born to French but his parent is from Guinea. So I think there's less chance that he might experience what Ozil had previously.

I think Ozil caused some controversy if I remember correctly meeting with some president and commenting on China and that’s when he started receiving backlash, do correct me if I’m wrong cause I remember this in bits only.

Also Pogba is a global star and if France tries to screw him they’ll suffer the wrath of his fans, so rest assured he’s not going to suffer the same fate as Ozil, and I do believe that he’ll play an important role for France in 2022 World Cup.

There is such a concept (in Russia) as "Spartak football" - this is a lot of short passes, ball control, the so-called "walls" (a player running to the goal gives a pass to the player standing with his back to the goal and when he runs past he gets the ball back), something similar to tikitaka. Historically, this style (at least in the performance of Spartak) almost always lost to the power style of the English teams. Of course, Spartak is changing, but still to some extent retains its style, so I think that assumptions based on history are appropriate in this case.
Meanwhile, Spartak is still ahead 2-1  Cheesy
So, what about the end result? about 3-4 Cheesy
I also believe that history exists, but in sport the situation and conditions are not always the same and this has happened to me many times. To be honest, in the past I always looked at history to bet on but after getting a lot of losses due to trusting history too much, it made me no longer consider history to be my benchmark in predicting for a bet that I made. There's nothing wrong with that, but when the situation is very different, then I'm sure history will no longer promise to give the same results.

The end result is super good for everyone except Spartak fans  Cheesy 7 goals in one match, plus poker, plus a game changer and intrigue until the last minutes  Smiley
As for the history, I agree with you, for betting I do not even take into account the results of the last season (since in each season we have actually different teams), I am interested in the short-term indicators of the team. For example, now United looks weak, but with certain changes (for example, replacing a coach), it can become on a level with City and Liverpool in just a couple of months.

I don’t know about history but this game felt like it was being played on play station, because it’s so rare to see a same player score 4 goals in a fixture and win it for his team. Also this shows how good Leicester actually is, and if they keep performing like this then they maybe one of the top contenders to win the Europa cup.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 21, 2021, 03:26:04 AM
It was indeed a great comeback from two goals down, Ole Solskjaer will have a big sign of relief after being under intense pressure for poor results by Man Utd in the past couple of matches, it could have worsen had Atalanta won the match, Man Utd didn't play well in the first half but improved in the second half, both team tried to win the match today but Man Utd eventually carried the day courtesy of a beautiful header by Ronaldo who was the match winner

During the first half, Solskjaer looks so anxious, maybe he thinks if the score remains 0-2 for Atalanta's victory then he must be prepared for all possibilities. Luckily in the second half, the Man United players could have played better. Well even though it's not optimal, but at least they can take advantage of the chance to win.

I don’t know how Solskjaer did it because we were finally going to let him go, but now he’s got another lifeline to hang onto. Lastly if he doesn’t win the upcoming premier league games, then I hope that glazers will take the bold call to sack him but till then he can enjoy this champions league win.

Thanks for the answers but the problem is Roobet team doesn't respond to emails for 2 days. An old email account is not on popular providers, I prefer to use a secure one but no proper way to change it quickly. Looks like no option except to wait for a reply from the support team. I will find an alternative to create a second account if no other option to solve the problem. Looking forward to hearing back from support as soon as possible.

Hopefully you get a reply soon but I wouldn't open a second account as this is asking for trouble. Most probably, when you try to withdraw you will get flagged because you have 2 accounts and loose your winnings. The only way it would be allowed if you have confirmation from the Roobet team that it is allowed.

@seleme don’t do it opening a second account is not a solution, but an invitation for future hassles because even if you’ll be able to deposit you won’t be able to withdraw your winnings and deposits so don’t do it. I would strongly recommend wait patiently for the support to reply, but doing what you suggested is madness and if you do it then you’ll regret your actions in the future.

I do not want my account to be considered as dormant account so I just checked my account and my last deposit was on May. Seems that I will get the same email as what you got few days back if I will not make any deposit in the next few months. But it is good to hear that there is a way to unlock the account once the account is locked due to inactivity so we do not need to create a new account.

No worries, as OP/FJ says, yeah, we can just request to unlock the account when we're ready to deposit.

I still hope the can reconsider manually approving people on this forum to continue using their accounts without depositing. I mean, for the active gamblers anyway. But fully understand why they'd want to do that, just I think they could accidentally lose actual gamblers just for this one rules I haven't seen anywhere else.

@slaman29 this rule is good and bad too, good in a way because it’ll reduce free or inactive player’s on FJ, which will give them a good idea about the activity on their site and they can plan promotions accordingly.

Lastly it’s bad cause it’ll hurt real gamblers pride if they’re locked out, and those who’re not aware of getting their account restored will end up creating multiple accounts which will lead to unnecessary scam accusations.

I also played on PSG tonight. I need them and Inter to win. I have already correctly predicted these two earlier matches. Away wins for Manchester City and Sporting. Great odds on Sporting btw, a gift by the bookies.
Messi did it again and PSG managed to win but it was not as easy as I though, all other teams I picked, Porto and Real Madrid won in their matches, so this was a nice lucky betting day for me.
Tomorrow matches in Champions League are more tricky to predict for me, but I think that odds on Juventus and Villarreal are very good and Young Boys will miss few players, honestly I don't even know how they are still in CL.

@notblox1 Messi was brought for this very purpose to score goals like these and help PSG win, and I’m very happy for him because now I feel that he’s getting his rhythm back and now he can score many more goals for PSG. Also what are your thoughts on Manchester United match because I’m expecting them to lose, but yet not confident enough to wager on Atlanta.
2516  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 20, 2021, 03:24:31 AM
There is a possibility of making a profit with the rollbit here and then makes all the changes and that means that people who have rollbot will make a profit and will keep on the hype alive. Surely there could be changes and I could be wrong, but so far that has been the situation.
If you're a regular player on Rollbit, owning a Rollbot will give you perks as a VIP and its an additional way to generate profit due to its benefits. Thus as long as Rollbit is existing the hype wont die because its already part of their business and beneficial to the players who owned these NFT's. Anyway those who bought at presale price are lucky because the value for the public sale is now double, just 1 day to go and it will be officially open.

@lienfaye the Rollbot is bound to be a massive hit, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s prices shot up further from current levels post the launch. Also while I couldn’t buy it as it’s expensive for me, what about others who have brought it, how are you’ll planning to maximise your returns from this?.

^ I think I have mixed feelings about the calendar Roll Eyes. I don't know but maybe having China would have been a good option but I'm happy that Canada and Japan are back. I like the Japanese ones as I feel like the fans are very passionate about the races in general.
Canada is a great GP, the Suzuka is the one I hate the most since I basically never see it in Live since is 6-7 AM in Europe when they run there.
The calendar is not finished yet it can may change for COVID.
Remember they want to increase the number of GPs up to 28-30 in 4-5 years.
I have also seen the new calendar, the Formula 1 drifting more and more into commercialism, the schedule is getting tighter the travel more expensive and every year more races, the development time is getting shorter for the teams and the small teams simply do not have the resources let alone the money for such rapid development, even more races whether that makes sense and is possible?
Of course, this makes sense, because the Formula 1 championship should be self-sufficient and bring income to the participants and organizers, otherwise what is the point in carrying out all this and then who will pay for all this splendor? Formula 1 as a technical sport is very dependent on this, and in addition to the talent of the rider, the technique itself and the conditions in which it is carried out have a great influence, and it all costs money, a lot of money. Therefore, of course, you need to try to maintain a balance between the sports component and commerce, but still successful commerce is simply necessary for the survival of the royal races.

@Koal-84 I too believe this and when they added Qatar it became Crystal clear that F1 is choosing money over fans feelings, and even if we don’t like it we don’t have a choice but to support them.

Also @AndySt is right too that F1 does needs the money to survive, but question is could they have looked at other opportunities, if yes why did they didn’t do it?.
2518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 19, 2021, 10:22:03 AM
this tournament also showed us that there is no "new big three", all these players that are trying to replace big trio, are far lower quality, and we will have probably four different winners on four grand slams in a year, as soon as Novak retires

Definitely, it's the end of an era (or getting towards it). Those three are all-time greats, and it was bizarre to have them all playing at the same time. We've been waiting for years for the next big player to step up, but understandably no-one has been able to match these three so far. But at least it will be interesting having diferent winners all the time, with no-one really dominant.

Yes, the same thing is happening in men's tennis that we have been watching in the last few years in women's tennis, each tournament has a different winner.
Given the years of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, their injuries and fatigue, it was expected that the time of their great domination would come to an end.
I think Nadal still has a chance to win the GS in Paris if he will be healthy and ready, and Djokovic could still win a few GS if he will be healthy and mentally ready.
Other young tennis players are still relatively young and need more experience and psychological stability to surpass the old champions  and it is really unlikely that anyone will ever surpass the big three.

I totally agree with you’ll the trio dominance looks very difficult to be matched with, and it’ll make wagering on tournaments even more riskier than it currently is.

Also I’m hoping sooner or later someone steps up when these 3 finally step down, because there’s so much potential in these young player’s, but for some reason they fail when it matters the most.

I honestly don't see why neymar is still at PSG, besides he doesn't play almost anything all season, he doesn't score many goals at PSG, he has a good performance in the Brazilian team. i think neymar would be in teams like barcelona (ex his team) or real madrid or chelsea or city due to the style of play that is similar to his style of play. Just look at what's happening to messi on PSG, Is how if messi isn't even on the field when he play
In PSG, Neymar is less important than Mbappe. When he joined PSG, he is a biggest star there but Mbappe grows too fast and after the World Cup 2018, Mbappe is the biggest star at PSG, not Neymar. That is one of reasons Neymar wanted to leave PSG and reunite with Messi in Barcelona.

Because Barcelona can not bring Neymar back, he wanted to reunite with Messi in PSG. Fortunately, it happened but Neymar is unprofessional, and after the Coppa America, his body has too much fat and that limits his contribution for PSG.

In Brazil, Neymar is a biggest star last 10 years, after the era of Ronaldinho, Adriano and Kaka. Anyway, he is not too young and after the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, Neymar did not have too much impressive performance in big tournaments for Brazil.

Leandro Paredes, Sergio Ramos and Mauro Icardi will be missing too for this match. It seems Leandro Paredes is encountering a quadriceps issue, Sergio Ramos is recovering from a calf problem and Mauro Icardi is dealing with serious problems with his wife Wanda Nara.
Ramos does not have any match for PSG but he can help them after he recovers from injury. Paredes and Icardi don't have good positions in the club and their absence won't affect PSG too much.

I believe one simple reason is no wants to buy him, because it would require a $150 million or more to prize him away, and on top of that add his wages and agent fees, so it’s easy to understand why he’s stuck with PSG. Furthermore even with these player’s absent PSG have a very strong squad and they’ll be able to manage without them, and probably win games with ease too.

My favorites are Benzema and Mohamed Salah.Karim Benzema is a great player with great contribution for Real Madrid(even though I don't like Real Madrid).

If we are to say that the Ballon d'or is not a popularity contest and truly it is given to most deserving in terms of titles and cups won, IMHO Benzema should be top runner to win this Ballon d'Or having a world cup medal and Nations League medal to his name. Benzema is on a fantastic form and has performed and scored against big teams, he deserves to be recognised.
I agree with you I think Karim Benzema would be a good choice and a quite small surprise (like would be Kylian Mbappe too) but you are wrong Karim Benzema has not a world cup medal as you said because he was not selected in the french team during the last world cup in 2018.

What about Chelsea players? Is there no one worthy of this trophy? from what I know at least the chosen player must contribute to one title
Local League , Champions League or other competition Unfortunately there are no players who managed to get 3 titles at once this season

I’m a Manchester United fan but I’ll be happy if it goes Salah, because he deserves this award for all the hard work he’s been doing on the pitch. Also Benzema has single handedly been keeping Real Madrid alive, so yes he too is a worthy contender for this award.
