Gabriel Jesus is expected to return around mid January for now. This isn't good news for Arsenal at all. He can lose at least four league matches in the meantime. There are matches against Newcastle and Tottenham among those ones as well. Even his getting ready to play before their Manchester United match might be doubtful.

I know that Arsenal still have done a decent work while Jesus hasn't been scoring for a long time. They continued to show productive performances and moved on. But we don't know how long they can keep this up in his absence as well. Winning big matches is crucial for Arsenal to fight hard for the league title.

I wonder what Simeone is thinking about doing after this break ends. Atletico Madrid have had a quite unsatisfying season so far. This is even worse than the previous season obviously because they haven't even qualified for last 16 round in the Champions League. They didn't have a very tough group for themselves in theory. But their performance was just so poor.

I'm not very positive about their La Liga performance either. Because they are very inconsistent here as well. They won only once considering their last five matches. They are just struggling with winning matches comfortably. But I don't think it is related to the quality of their lineup. Because they have a very powerful lineup actually. It must be related to the game plan they have been using for many years.

This is classic Eternal Fire actually. They just make us excited about their capabilities first but then we witness another disappointment. 

Of course I'm hoping to see that this time will be different. The roles are better than before now. I liked imoRR's taking the AWPer role. He was already an AWPer while he was playing for Sangal actually. He has been known by his amazing quick scopes and flick shots with an AWP. But he couldn't take the role before because woxic had it. As woxic has left the team imoRR can finally play in his best role. Calyx's return is great because he has an amazing aim. He is known by impressive clutches. MAJ3R is also a good IGL and a reliable rifler.

Argentina have just scored and get ahead by 1-0. It was a classic Messi goal after a nice team organization but it was lovely to watch anyway. Messi is fully ready to make up for his mistakes in the previous match. He is a legend in the end and I didn't even doubt him about improving his performance. This is most probably his last World Cup so he wants to do his best for becoming the champion in the World Cup after 36 years.

The last year Argentina won the World Cup was 1986. It has been a really long wait since then. Messi has been their biggest luck but they still couldn't manage to do it as a team. Otherwise Messi has always been doing his best with an amazing effort.

Kessie seems to be on Inter's radar these days. They are thinking of a move for making him return to the Serie A. However I don't think Barcelona would be willing to sell him already now. He is a great investment for them considering the future. He is still a young and dynamic player. He missed some matches with Barcelona at first due to some problems but he is close to being a regular for the team. He still has an injury but he is expected to recover in less than two weeks.

Barcelona can build a really good midfield with de Jong and Kessie so they wouldn't like to talk about any deal with Inter. Actually Barcelona need money due to their financial status but I wouldn't expect Kessie to be among the players who can be sold now.

What do you think about this Anubis map? Can it be advantageous for some teams in the further tournaments?

I assume teams will start to play next tournaments with the new update on the game starting with BLAST Premier World Final. Dust2 is gone now and Anubis has been added to its place. Some teams already stated their sorrow about this change on their Twitter accounts. Now teams which develop special strategies for Anubis can use this change to their advantage. However there is another truth that most teams can just choose to ban this map at least until getting accustomed to playing on it. Maybe we won't even see it for once in this tournament.

The other changes with the new update are:

- M4A1-S has been nerfed.
- The number of bullets in an AWP clip has been decreased to 5 from 10.

Maybe we will start seeing M4A4 choices more often as of now. The other change is really bad news for AWPers as they will need to use their bullets more effectively from now on.

Next season has a potential to be a very interesting one. Because Mercedes have made huge progress throughout last season. They have developed their car into a much faster and durable one. They have started to compete with Ferrari at the same level first and they even got close to Red Bull's level in the final moments of the season.

This is alarming for not only Ferrari but also Red Bull. Ferrari need to fix the issues within their car and continue on their way with new workers in their crew as well. Otherwise they can't keep up with those teams next season. Red Bull will also need to be ready against the Mercedes threat. Maybe Verstappen might not have a this much comfortable season this time.

I was surprised to see Serbia's performance in the previous matches first. It was normal to see them losing to Brazil of course. But they could have won against Cameroon thanks to that solid performance. But somehow they made do with only a draw. Their chances to qualify from the group dropped down a lot as a result.

However things are going their way for now. They have made a really great comeback against Switzerland and they are keeping the 2-1 lead now. Mitrovic and Vlahovic scored the goals and it must be really satisfying for the fans to see these stars having a good day today. Because this is the most needed match for that in the end. As long as Cameroon don't get ahead against Brazil, Serbia are qualifying from the group. So far Cameroon couldn't do anything against Brazil as they don't even have a shot on goal.

Juventus are also among the favourites for the Europa League title indeed. Maybe they aren't the biggest one but their recent form is still promising for the Europa League as well. However they are dealing with some other serious problems these days on one hand. They are still lucky that they have had this crisis in the World Cup break. Otherwise I can't imagine what they would have done to manage this process professionally.

If they manage to fix their problems until the end of the World Cup and get rid of the possibility of a relegation from the Serie A as well then I believe they can still have a good season.

Money was of course a factor about Mbappe to stay at PSG instead of joining Real Madrid. But it wasn't the only reason obviously. PSG must have promised him things that might be even more valuable than money. Because Mbappe is like he is the king around here and PSG listen to anything he says. They are just doing everything they can to please Mbappe now.

This is clearly helping Mbappe to be happier here but it isn't a good thing to do for a team. Because this might cause some uneasiness among the other players in the future. This might affect the harmony of the players in a bad way as well. This is the last thing PSG would like to see for certain while making an effort to win the Champions League title.

Germany have been one of the biggest disappointments in the World Cup together with Belgium. They got the needed kind of a win against Costa Rica maybe but Japan's determination was still an obstacle for them to reach next stage of the World Cup. It is all Germany's fault because they should have secured a good advantage in the group before this matchday already.

Especially their loss against Japan played a key role in the current look of the group. Because this important win encouraged Japan to do even better. They played more courageous than Germany in this stage and it was a well-deserved ticket for next stage.

Belgium were already aware that this was coming for them. Because some players are still obstinate about keeping a professional attitude when it comes to doing their job. This is like the most important tournament for a national team. You just can't carry your personal issues to the field in a big tournament like this. These problems resulted in a terribe outcome for Belgium of course.

There were some times they tried to do better but they just couldn't maintain this ambition throughout a match. Aside from that, Belgium actually play much better when it comes to EUROs. They reached the quarter finals in the last one for example. Probably they will be the same in EURO 2024 as well.

There is some positive news about Neymar's injury according to some sources. He is expected to be back in only a few days. The most important thing will be keeping him away from bigger injuries in the remaining time period of the World Cup. Because we must all be remembering the previous season. He had serious issues with injuries and this caused him to miss many matches with PSG.

I don't know if PSG had an option but they could have put a limit to the maximum time period he can play for Brazil. I guess they didn't have that chance. Neymar is very crucial for the Bayern Munich matchup so PSG must do their best to have him ready and fit for the first leg.

It was a great day for Argentina while it was unfortunate for Mexico. Argentina still defeated Poland by 2-0 despite Messi's not having a good match. He will be expected to improve this performance in next stage. Maybe his missing the penalty could have cost them the World Cup as well. But Poland were really bad today. They had only three goal attempts in the whole match. Argentina's dominance was incredible in terms of not only ball possession but also goal attempts.

Mexico were trying to make it 3-0 and reach next stage. But they were so unlucky that they conceded a goal while making this big effort. This just killed their hopes. They at least did their best. Chavez's free-kick goal was also fabulous by the way.

It doesn't feel like this is a season that we see an unexpected title winner in the Champions League. There are indeed some underdogs that should be watched closely. But it feels like this is a season for one of the biggest title contenders to make it to the title. It is extra important for Manchester City and PSG of course as none of them has achieved this title yet.

I think Real Madrid is again dangerous for all of the other contenders. We watched them playing very strongly against the favourites last season. Sometimes their luck also helped but I can't say that it was the main factor in their success of course. This season I see them more determined here. Liverpool is going to be their first serious challenge as they had easy opponents in the group stage. Liverpool will need to be well-prepared for them if they want an upset in this matchup.

Argentina are like attacking with everything they have got. It was a completely one-sided first half and it must be a big disappointment for the fans to see Messi missing a critical penalty. Maybe the current scores are still in favour of Argentina but this is too risky of course. Argentina need to make use of this huge dominance and finish the job in the second half.

They should have scored at least one goal in the first half by the way. Because Poland might return to the second half with a better morale. Argentina's defense is not very reliable in general but they have done a good job so far. Poland had only one goal attempt in this half while Argentina had like 14. It was still a miracle that they couldn't score any of 9 shots on goal.

Bayern Munich's priority would surely be to sign as young striker as possible. But I don't know if they can find a better striker than Kane meeting this criteria. Maybe Kane is 29 years old now but he is still one of the best strikers in Europe. He still hasn't found the chance to show his talent at bigger teams. But I don't doubt him about that.

Who knows maybe he would even play better in that case. Kane just wants to achieve something with Tottenham. Conte's arrival was a hope for him and he was effective in Kane's staying longer. But if he still sees not much thing changing then I don't expect him to extend his contract anymore.
