2521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2019, 06:38:02 AM
There were so many obstacles in bitcoin and to mention the biggest obstacle where investors probably does not like are those Scammers and fraudsters that bring bitcoin image down. Another thing is the anonymity which boost scammers and hackers in their activity for they are anonymous.
2522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions if Bitcoin ETFs are approved on: January 17, 2019, 06:23:23 AM
There are several groups trying to create cryptocurrency ETFs.What will happen to the value of bitcoin if Bitcoin ETFs are approved ?
For sure cryptocurrency will get a good market for all its clients or consumers. Bitcoin that has reached its peak market price which is the 19K USD recorded on last 2017, it will be multiplied couple of times depending on the demand for that time if Bitcoin ETF's will be approved. Many user's will become glorious in this if it will going to happen.
2523  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: January 17, 2019, 06:06:44 AM
I am late in the polling votes but I guess bitcoin now is really scaring out most or all of the investors. Just imagine you buy it high then suddenly it falls that hard but you have nothing to do except to hold it because if you will going to sell it definitely one will going to lose some of its money and that is not good. So, we do not have any choice but to wait for some time and hold.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: January 17, 2019, 05:35:04 AM
Yes I consider Ethereum as good for holding long term. Though it has shown basing on its graph with its market price movement that ETH has gone pump and dump yet there is a huge percentage that ETH grows as years passes by. However, if one is truly a crypto investors it might be a good idea to hold not that too long. Just always see the coinmarketcap.com for example and check its market price movement. If you think it is better to sell then do it.
2525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting for bounty hunters right on: January 17, 2019, 05:15:49 AM
Hello friends,

Do you know of any organization in which bounty hunters can actually report in order to claim their right?, To be paid off their earning in which the campaign is holding.
I participated in a bounty campaign for several months and now when it is actually time for distribution now they changes the rule and actually introduce new rules which lead to the disqualification of more than 95% of the bounty participants. Which is actually too painful.

The only place that we can report it is the scam section, but this is when they are caught and when the ICO was finished and they run away, we still don't have a monitoring board, I think this is the right time to have one, legit project will not be afraid to have one of course only those that are fake.
The best thing about this is to regulate ICO projects like change it to STO (Security TOken Offerings). This is way better because the team project will be register basing on the country to where the project will be implemented. This should be the ideal but of course as there were a lot of hardworking scammers and frauds out there ICO like this will never end.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Now The Time To Buy Quality Projects? on: January 17, 2019, 05:08:56 AM
The question is that "Is there any quality projects to invest with?" THere are many project nowadays introduce in the ann threads sections but it is not a guarantee that the those projects has the quality or worth it to invest. Now, just imagine the it investing on this kind of projects? Probably it is just a waste of time. If I were you OP betting or play in gambling would be more better than investing projects.
2527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Fork? on: January 17, 2019, 04:14:52 AM
Well base on what I learn from reading about fork or hard fork is that a system will be duplicated with a new upgraded system just like what happen to BCH that has now new block chain and being called the BSV. This upgrades was being implemented due to the latest hacking trends or some other factors that like developing a new and fast system will be the most likely reason.
2528  Economy / Economics / Re: USD will crash before BTC on: January 17, 2019, 03:50:25 AM
Let's see, BTC has crash but recovers, I don't know if USD will recover, so much non transparency with USD.
I hope by that time it will lead to people putting their money in crypto, so we will have a new generation of money that is more transparent and decentralized.
I do not think USD will going to collapse because the currency is one of the strongest currency in the whole world. I doubt that great leaders will allow this to happen in a country where he/she belong. If I were to chose which currency is stronger between bitcoin and USD then I prefer USD. As we all know that BTC is not really that helpful compared to USD when it comes to exchange. BTC is just and alternative but that is also consider important.
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FYI bitmart exchange withdrawal issues on: January 17, 2019, 03:44:11 AM
I put in money into the exchange bitmart and I buy Apollo coin . Then I find out McAfee is involved. So I sold it. N try to move my coins but guess what. It's stuck. Gotta verify. Selfie n id card. Only a few hundred for this trouble. No thx.

This is the problem with the exchanges and other users. Before accessing exchanges one must know the policy of that exchange since most of the time will be asking for a KYC. I do not think KYC is a problem. Just fill in the details needed in order for you to approve your KYC and then start trading with the exchange.

This is also the problem with the exchanges for they will just allow users to create an account in the exchanges allowing one to deposit coin for trading. The bitter part is the withdrawal just like what OP experience.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges has no effects anymore on: January 17, 2019, 03:27:51 AM
Maturity is gradually setting in to crypto space, pump and dumps are gradually dying in effect to that. The set of investors we have now have been around since the crash in 2018 and have studied the trend for a long time. It'll only happen when there's a Bullrun, because FOMO will set in without control.
Really?, are you one of the team for cryptocurrency system developer?

Anyway, Investors nowadays are not that hype compared to last 2017. This because the bitcoin market price has gone no good in terms of its market price increase. The best for 2018 for bitcoin market price recorded was only below 11K USD. This could not surpass the bitcoin market price recorded on 2017 that reaches to almost 20K USD.
2531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $100 to $10,000 challenge on: January 17, 2019, 02:54:17 AM
Interesting thread- haven't seen anything like this in quite some time (though I'm not particularly active on this side of the forums), will keep track of this thread for sure. It's not impossible to make $10,000 from $100 betting, but this challenge certainly does seem pretty challenging to me. Best of luck to you- seems like you're already having good luck though.
Yes but this is very difficult to achieve. Imagine just a 100 USD find a way to make it up to 10,000. That is a 1000X effort to achieve that kind of challenge. I am not into this challenge for sure your 100 USD will be more likely to go on 1000 USD or 200 USD. In that range of earning when you gamble is enough and could be achieve.
2532  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: January 17, 2019, 02:45:09 AM
Long term blue chip crypto. Just gotta be patient while this bear market declares itself. Then we can all get serious about the solid projects such as Bitcoin ETF
Bull run does not happen in a short period. The start may be in slow but relatively it will going to work out over time. Probably we could give for 6 mos. or even 1 year or more for bull run to happen. It will depend on the adaptability of bitcoin users around the world. There are other factors also to consider like the news and this forum to make it happen. If only there were good news around then definitely more and more users will be encourage to join and invest in bitcoin.
2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: January 16, 2019, 10:51:20 PM
In general, the idea seems to me quite normal, you can also see the developers who will be involved in verification. You can also tell them to start the verification process. It seems to me that this is true.
No, it will not guarantee to have a smooth process on doing KYC. The best way for me is to create a portfolio of that user which likely in a form of documents and should submit to the government for verification purposes. In this government can be a party to which can help individuals that are crypto enthusiasts.

If only the government will take over and address the scam and fraud problem of crowdfunding projects theb that would be better.
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: January 16, 2019, 10:43:39 PM
Of course! EOS is a must hold for every crypto enthusiast. Not only does it have a huge future ahead, it is also relatively untapped, meaning there is still a wide market out there waiting for its adoption. It has the ability to overtake and replace Ethereum which makes it a choice investment token.
No I am not. Eos has its own platform and I do not know if it could be integrated to our local exchange. For now, eos is still bit available but still will be expecting about it simce eos is also an establish crypto.

Now if I will be ask to hold eos or not? of course it should be hold because eos has also proven to have a good community support and a good team handling the project.
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to known a Scam ICO on: January 16, 2019, 10:35:20 PM
Hard to avoid, here is some tips.

3 Ways to Identify an ICO Scam:
1. The Developers Are Anonymous
The first and most blatant sign of an ICO scam is that the token’s developers are anonymous or otherwise-unknown.
2. The Token Does Not Have a Clear Use Case
Another sign of an ICO scam is that the developers are unable to clearly articulate a valid use case for the token.
3. The Whitepaper Sets Unrealistic Goals
If the whitepaper sets an unrealistic development schedule, it either means the developers are using deceptive tactics to attract token buyers or they lack the necessary experience to give a sensible scope to the project. Either way, this does not bode well for the success of the project and its corresponding token.

Yes, I agree plus the team are conducting huge rewards bounty. As we all know that projects nowadays has only a limited funds that could bencollected frommtge crowd. This because ICO was tag as scam or fraud which made some investors to fear out of getting involve and will just feel that they will just waste money on it. Now, this is really the problem if only this scam and fraud problem will be address then cryptocurrency will be good.
2536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin above USD 8000 on: January 16, 2019, 03:40:40 PM
The price of bitcoin is declining this year and the mining industry is no longer a profitable career. Although I still have hope for Bitcoin, I don't see much bright spots.
For now but eventually when bitcoin can make another good market price increasr then clearly you will change your opinion. This because as market price is down then so does our patience with bitcoin especially when you are investing in bitcoin. For now bitcoin is struggling and hopefully it will regain its price so that investors can be happy again.
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: January 16, 2019, 03:22:27 PM
Sell useless tokens and maintain potential tokens. To find out whether the coin is potential or not, it is better for you to do research and see the Team behind the project. Conditions like today are not very supportive of selling coins and it is better to remain patient.
Unfortunately I sell all the useless coins and even the strong one like bitcoin. I feel that I completely lost in my investment here in cryptocurrency. So I have to sell even if it was meant to losing some of my money.

Anyway, if I will invest again probably I can still recover it for market price nowadays is too cheap for bitcoin and other strong crypto in the market.
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 16, 2019, 03:14:29 PM
No, addiction will not going to happen if you only have to plan well your gambling activities. This will be possible of you will going to set your priorities. Make sure that your family is number 1 and playing or any leisure comes next. In this way it will help you to control yourself. Besides, one can also have a good strategy like bringin exact money use to bet. Enough money is alright for betting.
2539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I find special bounties that pay in eth or btc ? on: January 15, 2019, 07:35:26 PM
I didn't know that there are more campaigns that reward participants for ETH and BTC until I read and check/explore the answers you guys provided in this thread and I also know that there are still campaigns left that reward BTC like this campaign I joined at this time. Not too long ag all I know is that most of campaigns and other types campaign stop giving BTC or ETH as their reward for the participant's hardwork and their reward is now ERC-20 Tokens or coins, as we all know that some don't have real or high value like shitcoins (slow/useless projects, abandoned projects) and "SCAM PROJECTS" (No value at all and also investors lose their while participants earned nothing). It's good to know this information about projects whether it's ongoing or finish projects that reward BTC or ETH.
2540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 10 merit to give for Jr.Members and newbies on: January 15, 2019, 07:12:14 PM
Newbies and jr. members should appreciate the OP for giving a chance (even it's 50/50 chance but worth the time) to earn their first merit merit or another merit. I find the IDEA of OP to reward newbie and jr. members out there to get 1 merit for the meritable post they provide, In this case the OP won't have to search and scan the forum to find the suitable person/poster in bitcointalk forum as we all know takes time to find one. It may not be a good idea to other people out there but I think the merits to be rewarded will not put to waste as the requirements for the reward (merit) is a meritable, constructive and can contribute to the people and in the forum. More power to OP and to those who help the OP.
