2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 08:30:58 AM
Good for you to learn your lesson  in a hard way. I have been through also having the same with your experience but I am only losing a little bit since I start investing where I thought that bitcoin market price has stabilized or it is already in its baseline. However, I was wrong for bitcoin market price fall for more and thus, I was afraid that bitcoin will going to end so I sell all my bitcoin holdings and lose some of my money to more or less 20% of it.
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: October 13, 2018, 03:36:01 PM
It does really affect on ones emotions and mental aspect if one is holding bitcoin. As we all know that the market price movements will allow one to get an emotional reactions. The emotions and mental aspect will depend on how market price for bitcoin moves. If market price goes high then one will be  happy and if market price will go down then for sure one will be sad. The mental aspects then will work on how to recover loss or to decide when to sell or buy bitcoin.
2763  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: October 13, 2018, 02:43:08 PM
If countries issue their own crypto-exchange system USAcoin, CHINAcoin, ROSSIAcoin, GBcoin, etc. Do you think which of them will initially be expensive and will show growth?
It does not matter for which country has its own currency. The only thing is that here in cryptocurrency all of the contributors and investors for that coin are earning. Generally if you will going to invest in a certain coin you will be the part of the success of that coin even if you are not living in the country where the coin was being created or the project being implemented.

2764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: October 13, 2018, 01:58:55 PM
Well I do hope that your speculations will going to happen. I was kinda tired also waiting for something great. It has been some time already where market controlled over by huge investors day trading. I could not imagine right now how much they have profited from the small scale investors. I bet they are earning more now and probably hoping that they will satisfied already with their actions on pulling bitcoin market price down.
2765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Avoid Bitcoin Scams on: October 12, 2018, 11:19:01 AM
All in all it is so hard to avoid bitcoin scams unless if you will not entertain people offering you something that is great that would relatively will let you fall for it. Other scam activities fall in to investing ICO projects that are certainly some of the team doing and promoting the project are fraud.
2766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon anniversary-10 years. on: October 12, 2018, 09:38:20 AM
Quote from: Wikipedia link=topic=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin#Creation
The domain name "bitcoin.org" was registered on 18 August 2008.15 In November 2008, a link to a paper authored by Satoshi Nakamoto titled Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System[5] was posted to a cryptography mailing list. Nakamoto implemented the bitcoin software as open source code and released it in January 2009

I see now that bitcoin will going to be 10 years of its existence on January 2019. I should hope that there will be good things to happen in the celebration for bitcoin in reaching its first decade of existence.

I wish satoshi will showed up and shower more blessings to all the members especially in this forum.
2767  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto and automobile on: October 12, 2018, 09:03:25 AM
I'm just curious when can I start buying my dream cars with altcoins, I mean can huge automobile companies like Toyota, Ford and Nissan start accepting cryptocurrency as means of exchange
Yes, it will be possible when they will decide to create their own crypto and list it in the crypto market. However, cryptocurrency for business or established company may not work for the value of the coin may change from time to time so probably they will be having some problems with the amount needed to pay for a certain car you will going to purchase.
2768  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis is Coming on: October 12, 2018, 07:26:29 AM
Definitely crisis is a worldwide issue. It seems like the inflation rate to most of the countries around the world are facing this kind of problem. Anyway, some of the experts says that it is just normal for the countries that are having industrialization developments. Most of the countries now are eyeing for industrialization development.
2769  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized or Decentralized for cryptocurrencies? on: October 11, 2018, 04:22:08 PM
Are there any centralized cryptocurrency? Never heard of that because most of the crypto are decentralized. Anyway, decentralized currency works better if one does want to earn profit by trading. Most of the users who are trading are doing fine with cryptocurrency because it is being decentralized and has more volatile than centralized currency.
2770  Economy / Economics / Re: Is legalized marijuana good for the economy?? US Citizens might talk here.. on: October 11, 2018, 07:35:14 AM
The legalization of marijuana has brought in millions (maybe billions?) in tax revenue to those states that have allowed it. Just imagine what each state and even the federal government could do with such extra money. Rather than wasting millions in tax money on a fight that can't be won ,right??

Or maybe you guys got another opinions??
Definitely it will but it must be regulated and should not be available to all individuals who will just use the thing out of curiosity. The herb is actually has a lots of benefits to individual who some health problems but we know also that it could be dangerous when it will be abused.
2771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 10, 2018, 06:41:51 AM
It's actually not that risky if you do lots of research.  Its risky for the idiots that throw money at anything that is hyped up with lots of advertising.
Well maybe you are not investing huge money for the risk will not matter because you are not geytting involve. But, try to get some empathy on the investors even if they do had a lot of resrarch the project they will be joining may still failed and those who brought up the project could run away frerly for.they are not revealing themselves.in the ICO and are just using someone's identity.
2772  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: October 10, 2018, 03:59:54 AM
There will be a fixed number if Bitcoins, and people, because of human error, will accidentally lose Bitcoins every now and then.

This must mean that Bitcoin will eventually seize to exist? Or at least shrink to minimal amounts, when it shrinks to a certain level, it will no longer be useful.

Is this correct?

Maybe it will be the opposite since the bitcoins with low amount of supply means a higher market price increase in the near future. This will relatively help the bitcoin market price to move that high and if ever it will reach to 30% of bitcoin that has been lost then bitcoin dev could create a bitcoin 2 to and then merge in with the original bitcoin. This will help the bitcoin supply to grow more.
2773  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: October 09, 2018, 12:32:48 PM
Same here in our country the US dollar currency has gone strong and the inflation rate here is high. Usually the US dollar currency has stabilized and play its conversion from the last few years but if it will compared to present value definitely there is a clear huge gap. However, I do not think that it could affect the value of crypto unless if crypto is being sold to fiat money.

I just wonder if I will buy crypto now and buy out dollars then convert to out fiat. I think it is profitable?
2774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: goodbye fiat and USD. on: October 09, 2018, 08:51:16 AM
I read the local news, and there is several articles that made me interesting, a few weeks ago, the mobile version of the Bitcoin wallet bitcoin platform decided to eliminate the conversion of bitcoin currencies with USD. then replaced with Satoshi.

the decision was taken to eliminate dependence on fiat currency. because bitcoin capability if converted to fiat, will interfere.

developer samourai wallet says "farewall fiat" or "goodbye fiat".
You must not use fiat money for i think it has no use on you. Aside from that you i guess is a huge fan of cryptocurrency. Well I do believe in cryptocurrency but i am not generalizing that cryptocurrency could do better than fiat money. Fiat money is indeed a good medium for exchange and thus crypto could not surpassed. But, if we had crypto and fiat working together then it would be better.
2775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: October 09, 2018, 03:24:34 AM
$20,000? It would surely reach that price again in my opinion. It's just a matter of when.
So, this could reach up to 20k USD but no time to disclose when. You have a good answer and it is indeed right that BTC will going to reach even more than that but only time could tell. Maybe not in 2018 and maybe it would fall in 2019 or even on 2020 upwards.

P.S. Take my opinion lightly. Not an economic expert or anything. I definitely could be wrong.
Yes I do believe that in discussions like where speculations are only speculations and should not be the reference for one's decision in their crypto holdings.
2776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: October 08, 2018, 03:56:29 PM
Probably it will going to happen. We will just have to wait for it to happen though for now there is no clear direction on the bitcoin market price if there is a bull run. We should wait and should also expect that much for it. Anyway, the good thing is that we are near to the 2018 year peak season and this will be a factor that bitcoin could make a bull run.
2777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 07, 2018, 03:47:22 PM
Definitely this is what somehow happening in the crypto market. Aside from that the additional factors of this fear are those huge investors who could move crypto market price from time to time. They could be able to get hype a certain coin and then later on the could also pull out their investment together with the small scale investment as their profit.
2778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how governments can regulate digital currencies? on: October 07, 2018, 02:46:23 PM
Though it’s easy to see why governments would want to regulate the movement of digital currencies, the reality of doing so is much harder. A lot of wallets have no identification to them and rest on a server in a third party country. In the case of offline wallets in devices such as the Ledger Nano, they’re not connected to any network.so is it possible to regulate ?
Yes, cryptocurrency could be regulated and even could be taxed by the government on that particular country. Like here in the Philippines, the cryptocurrency is being regulated through local exchange. Thus, we could not convert our fiat money using another exchange for it will be risky also in transferring money online for a payment in cryptocurrency and it is also a burden to do it for it need some credit cards for one to buy crypto outside the country. So by this local exchange one could be traced through one time KYC. This is how they regulate every member in converting fiat money to cryptocurrency.
2779  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: October 06, 2018, 05:02:46 PM
Here in my country I can freely use crypto as monthly payment for my billings such as Electricity, water, internet, savings, and tuition fee and those altcoins that I can able to use was Bitcoin, Ethereum, Xrp(ripple), and Bch these are the altcoins that being accepted in the exchange we had it here in my place actually.
Good thing to know that crypto has really put to a good use. I know this also since in our country we could also be able to use these crypto in a form of payment. Yet, the only difference is that payment will not be in crypto instead it will be in fiat. So whenever we transact payment with the local exchanges they will convert it to us from crypto to fiat and complete the transaction.
2780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many think crypto is dead. It is not. on: October 06, 2018, 04:26:50 PM
I keep reading some really desperate people on a forum (other than this one) and they seem sure that crypto is dead, because it is scam etc.

Crpyto is not dead. Don't be stupid. HODL.
Are you still holding your ETH now? or have you tried to convert it with other promising crypto in the market? I bet ripple had change this ways and even go t the second highest marketcap volume for some time. However, If you will going to ask me on which crypto is better with ETH and Ripple then clearly I would go for ETH for its platform was widely used in the ICO projects.
