2522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: February 19, 2016, 10:07:22 AM
What is your favorite part of bitcoins. .

the price of bitcoins is my favorite thing these days.
2523  Economy / Speculation / Re: My BTC Prediction for 2016.. on: February 17, 2016, 03:26:24 PM
BTC  will surely gone to 700 us dollar. and highest price will be 1700 us Dollar.

i want to hope bitcoin price goes to $1700 but my logical mind says it is not possible, at least not without any huge initiative.
2524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: February 17, 2016, 03:20:23 PM
i will always prefer bitcoin as online payment. but i will never prefer paypal over bitcoin if both options are available at the same time. but sadly it is only one option for paypal and similar services available.
2525  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you do if you bet max and get this 2 times? on: February 17, 2016, 03:13:41 PM
I would just withdraw 70% of my balance after hitting twice, with rest of the balance i'll try my luck on other games.

i always make sure to do this whenever i am on a winning streak even small. cause that way i can at least walk away with something to show for it at the end of the day.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price falls 22% in 1 day on: February 17, 2016, 03:09:34 PM
Time to buy eth

that might be a good idea to buy in dips.

but i was wondering if now is the time, cause i think the dump still continues.
2527  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2016, 02:48:47 PM
for me Bitcoin is just like Gold , Investing for the future, and even now gambling, sports betting, trading so many things can be done with bitcoins, for which we dont have to disclose our identity.

Don't do gambling and all dude, Mostly you will loose the money at there. For me bitcoin is long term investment I will not sell it according to present situation.

i wish i did listen to this back in my days. i just kept betting everyday. that is how i ended up losing a lot of bitcoin.

now i just play games under control with small bankroll.
2528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: .coin or .bitcoin domain name extensions on: February 17, 2016, 02:42:48 PM
some of them are snkeaky and use .co.in instead of .coin Smiley
2529  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: February 17, 2016, 02:38:58 PM
this year is going to be the year of bitcoin, it is going to rise up again and be as glorious as it was before. therefore a lot more people are going to come to bitcoin and invest in it.
2530  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: February 17, 2016, 02:28:21 PM
Its better that you are holding. The price is now very low and I think it will rise later.
But I hope that the value will rise, so we can sell it in the future.

I guess in future years selling Bitcoin is not necessary.More and more merchants and shops will accept it, online as also in real life.
It just takes some time and so you need to be patient if you wanna take a full advantage of that.
So hodl hard! Smiley

if more merchants are willing to accept bitcoin and hold a certain amount of the sales made in bitcoin, then it will surely affect the price in a positive way. but at this point they will never hold it as the volatility is too heavy. i want more physical merchants to accept bitcoin. online is easy, but i want my super market and gas station to accept bitcoin as well.

I believe this is the direction we are heading and it's simply a matter of time. A few years back you wouldn't of thought of the accessibility we currently have to buy/sell/trade/spend BTC not to mention the ATM's becoming increasingly available around the world. I believe if one major chain accepts, the rest will surely follow.

exactly everyday we hear about new people starting to accept bitcoin. and from time to time we hear about a new company doing it too. the most recent one was steam which was awesome.
2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2016, 05:21:50 PM
In my opinion the best method to grow your bitcoins is to make a gambling site ( if you have enough bitcoins , to grow more ) and then just relax and see the profit coming your way. Other than that you can try gambling yourself on other sites, but always risky. No risk, no return  Tongue

it is not as easy as you might think.

this plan requires a large bankroll as the first step. but then it is going to need good developers who can plan ahead for the design of the casino and fining a way to advertise and bring people to their site. because there is enough gambling games already, that making a new one alone is not gonna cut it.
2532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: February 13, 2016, 05:12:02 PM
Since bitcoin is an internet currency that can be turn into a actual money. And Bitcoin too is known on Government but still government can't observe bitcoin that good. So I'm thinking if Bitcoin has tax??
ive never heard of bitcoins being taxed. but i do think that if u earn more than $600 with bitcoins in the U.S, you do have to fill out a form for tax purposes. but even if u didnt, i dont think theyd find out.

it depends on the country you live in. some countries have more flexible tax rules. and besides if you can stay anonymous in your bitcoin trades you have a better chance of escaping taxes but if you get caught you will be charged with tax evasion!
2533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in Steam coming soon... on: February 13, 2016, 05:01:50 PM
I also heard that it's only available for US customer, so it's not really good news for bitcoiner outside US because they can't use bitcoin as payment, expect they set their residence to US, but US price usually more expensive than in other countries.
But, if every steam customer from every country can pay with bitcoin. it would be great.

but that would a big start.

it does not matter that they start from US because they will expand their service to other countries if it becomes successful.

it will just take time. we have to be patient.
2534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 13, 2016, 04:56:25 PM
you can never expect an advantage from gambling. because it is all based on chance. so it becomes unpredictable. but the advantages can come in the form of a lucky break in which you get rich by winning.
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Daily fantasy sports with bitcoin? on: February 13, 2016, 04:50:55 PM
Despite fantasy sports leagues are being more and more popular it seems that bitcoin casino and sportsbooks developers are not familiar with this phenomenon.
And it is not like fantasy sports is more popular than betting on live sports events anyway. I guess creating something like this would be a little too risky.

Thanks for the reply Maku.

Yeah, it seems it could be risky if not done right.  I saw there used to be a site called extrapoint.io that allowed playing with bitcoin, but after visiting and trying to play it seemed pretty bad.  Not that the developers didn't try to do well, but play didn't even come close to the experience of the top fiat based offerings of fanduel, draftkings, or even yahoo.

I think if a bitcoin daily fantasy sports site got closer to these industry leaders experience it would likely do well.

this is because most of the gambling site developers are copying each other and they just want to go with something that is tested like dice, poker ,... so they are afraid of going into unknown territories. but with this big risk can come a huge reward.
2536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 13, 2016, 04:45:34 PM
My estimate is  BTC will hit 450-550$ in 2016 ( this year ) later i think over the next 4 years its will hit 1000 - 1500$ for each BTC but its hard to say, but we need to dream ^^ and now when Steam soon allow BTC payment, i think the BTC will hit new price levels again (more than previous record).

i think bitcoin can reach much higher prices in this year. there a huge event on the way, i am talking about the block halving. and it is going to push the price to at least $600-$700.
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just spent 15 dollars on ether on: February 13, 2016, 04:40:05 PM
Did i just lose 15, dollars or make 15 plus 20 cents ?
i honest to god have no clue when i should pull out at 6$ ?

at $15 will not hurt you much if you lose half of it,and will not give you great joy if you made additional $5,Just study it's market it's still knowledge is power get to know where your investment will lead you

i have started trading altcoin with such small amounts of investment at first. it is a good way to start in this market since it is so risky. you can build up confidence and then go bigger over time.
you can even invest the profit only back in.
2538  Economy / Speculation / Re: >400$=sell time on: February 13, 2016, 04:36:58 PM
it is always a good strategy to keep an eye out for price jumps to sell for a temporary profit but it has been a slow rise so far towards $400 and beyond.
2539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 13, 2016, 04:27:17 PM
No it will not disappear bitcoin as banks are not currency with which bitcoin is in competition and the banks will sooner start working with bitcoin as the banks job is to work with currencies and bitcoin is a currency.
And may be Bitcoin itself require the need of banks if it took physical shape.
Absolutely true. Users here make use of bitcoin wallets whether online or offline but these also are online banks.
We need a place to store those coins and these are called banks which would exist forever.
However, I believe that bitcoins would possible reduce the use of fiat cash in future and people would prefer crypto currency rather than owning hard cash.

i can see people using bitcoin as their primary means of purchasing stuff as bitcoin becomes more mass adopted but i can not see banks disappear, because they can evolve too and embrace the revolution of bitcoin.
2540  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info email on: February 13, 2016, 04:21:37 PM
i usually receive Emails like this one. nothing to worry about, it is just a way of scamming people to steal their password. just enable 2fa and never click on a link in your email
