1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Bitcoin Encryption? on: September 03, 2016, 05:07:51 AM
even if the power of this quantum computer is enough to break bitcoin encryption is not the end because this computer is not available to public or hackers to hack bitcoin.

and also if i am not mistaken we can move to a stronger encryption other than sha256
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser Launches Bitcoin Micropayments on: September 03, 2016, 05:03:32 AM
is this browser sure? no virus/tracking inside? someone realy test it?

i think it is safe because from what i remember from the first time i heard about this, it is based on the Mozilla Firefox and has the same developers

but even if the browser is safe and sure, there are still risks for letting a ad run if they don't monitor these things. the attacker can always exploit new holes in the browser, java,... and infect you.
1543  Economy / Speculation / Re: When can we expect sub $350 price? on: September 03, 2016, 04:47:31 AM
Thanks for the help.

yeah, I'm looking to get in, but I'm not if it'll dip like it has always done.

well, i think if you want to get in, you should get in and don't wait around. but what you can do is to buy in the dips, even in an stable market there are dips which you can buy in.

i say this because waiting on a low price like a 350 for bitcoin may never happen. we saw that even with the bitfinex hack and the massive dump the price only went down to 500 (480?) and jumped back up immediately to 550 and rised to 570 so you can be sure that demand is there and the bottom is clear.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favourite gambling game ? on: September 03, 2016, 04:44:11 AM
my favorite games are always only two kinds of games. dice and poker.

i choose poker only in offline games to play face to face with my friends even if we don't play if for money, that is still a lot of fun to play.

but dice games is awesome for playing online in a dice site with a nice design. it is fast and easy to play and it doesn't need any experience.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: September 03, 2016, 04:38:24 AM
its depends you play in gambling
I'm not sure can be profitable in longterm if you play in casino, dice etc. but you can make a profit quickly if you are lucky enough.

Yeah may be it still depends on what game you played. For dice game may be you cant because there is no solid strategy for dice game but in lottery or slots may be you do have chance but sure need some luck to win huge amount to recover your loss before

If you have $1000000 you can make that everyday with a small chance to lose but after a long while you will lose if you try to recover and bad luck will cause you to go into debt and make bad decisions. If you want to make money everyday like that then an investment is a much better option for you. Gambling is stressful for you to do each and every day.

if you have that much money and also you are willing to put it all in your bankroll for gambling i think you can actually make a good profit with even martingale strategy.

because i have come to this conclusion that you can only win in martingale if you start small and have a very big bankroll that can support that big losing streak of yours and we all know at the end of that losing streak there is a big reward/
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer Bitcoin sportsbetting sites over traditional fiat ones? on: September 03, 2016, 04:23:18 AM
If so, what are the main advantages that you find important?

If not, what's missing that is keeping you from switching to bitcoin sites?

i prefer bitcoin sportsbetting sites because then i would be using bitcoin, but mostly because i don't have to go anywhere and i can make the bets from my home or at work behind my desk very easily and the speed of this kind of betting (online and with bitcoin) no matter what game i am choosing is super fast and there is no wasting time with it.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what fight where you gambled at got the most gains? on: September 03, 2016, 04:19:22 AM
My favorite thing to gamble at is fights, because it's only two persons and it's way easier to predict than an entire team (for example football or NBA).

I have made a decent amount of money in boxing and MMA gambles.

My biggest win was the Mayweather - Pacman fight. I made my money go x10. I went all in trusting in Mayweather's legendary skills to avoid getting punched while scoring points.
I have made so much money with Mayweather win bets but that was the best one ever.

What are the fighting bets that delivered the most money for you?

very interesting point about easier prediction!
i have never tried betting on fights like this, although i have watched some and i also have some small knowledge about the games but i have never thought about betting on them, i think i will give it a try now.

where are you making your bets? is there anywhere that accepts bitcoin?
1548  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: September 03, 2016, 04:14:32 AM
I would hold most of it, while using the other part to perform trading. It would be nice to invest as well, in some projects, ICOs and that sort of thing.
Yes i agree with you , hold your bitcoin also invest in ICO or make a trading it's good combination for growing your up bitcoin. Also if you have 21 BTC , the profit would be higher than you expected if you're success.

It is good to have 21 BTC in hand.  If i have it, i will set up an online store with trending goods.  Accept btc with it to support btc economy, and  the profit from it will be use to invest in trading altcoin.  I will evade Hyips and cloudmining because it will just take the btc and declare bancruptcy or run away.

if you are so serious about your online shop and has actually thought about it, i think you can start it with less amount of money and start small but grow overtime. you wouldn't have much customer in the beginning anyways so you can actually keep it small and use the profit or maybe even other investors to grow your business.
1549  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 03, 2016, 04:10:25 AM
In our country India, Bitcoin is now getting popular in major cities. since india is the second largest country in world, it is a long journey for bitcoin to reach people all over. people use bitcoin as an additional earning. to replace US in using bitcoins, its far away to even think about it now.
Despite being second largest most populated country,we are lagging behind by many smaller nations when it comes to bitcoin adoption. No wonder I haven't seen any good bitcoin related start coming up in India.Still a long way to go

maybe it is because bitcoin is banned in India, of course if you are living there you should know this better than me. i have only read the news about it on coindesk.com
and being illegal and threatening to imprison people usually prevents them from adopting something new.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 01, 2016, 04:43:56 PM
Well, when 1st world countries send donations to poor countries, most or should I rather say, a high percentage of that money goes towards fees to transmit that money. So in the end, MoneyGram or WU or one of these services, makes a ton of profit. If this was send with Bitcoin, the fees will be much lower and these poor people can get a higher percentage of this money. It can also be tracked on the Blockchain, to see if it is going to the correct cause.  Wink

very good point.
but sadly i don't see that many charities or humanitarian organizations accepting bitcoin.
actually i was checking out the bitcoin wiki pages the part about donation accepting organizations and i only saw a tiny charity group on the list with none of the bigger charity organizations there!
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a good way to store money? on: September 01, 2016, 04:39:13 PM
Bitcoin is just a good way to invest your money?
Or we can also store our money there, if the price stay stable?
What do you thing about this?

actually it is not the best way to store your money.
as much as i love bitcoin i have to say it is still risky to invest in bitcoin, especially if you are not a trader and you want to invest a large amount of money. it is good for smaller amounts though.
and as a currency or for spending it is still an excellent choice.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETC pump hard? on: September 01, 2016, 04:33:09 PM
There are people who will not listen until everything crumbles on them, then they will turn around to complain about how risky altcoin trading really is. Roll Eyes

you need to learn when to go in and when to get out.
complaining because they don't know this simple thing is not acceptable.

and about ETC i have to say, it has a lot of potential to grow and pumpers can get in since they were accumulating so far and pump it to a very big number since it has the potential of 0.03
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ugliest gambling site? on: September 01, 2016, 04:28:01 PM
i don't even remember the name of any of those ugly gambling sites but there definitely was a couple so far that i saw.
but most of these sites are created with the least amount of effort and i saw one on a free hosting and a free domain name which was pretty crappy Smiley and obviously none of them survive long enough to even become known.
1554  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing here? on: September 01, 2016, 04:19:26 PM
what are you doing here apart from creating 3 line new topics Cheesy

Why are you here, in Bitcointalk?
There is other forums, why you do not go there?
And what are you doing here?

other forums are mostly dead places that are filled with advertisement of faucets with referral link. at least here the mods get rid of all the spams like that.
also all the announcement of services and new altcoins are here.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Exchanges , a "Free" alternative to mixers ? on: August 31, 2016, 08:08:10 AM
you can use exchange as free mixers also in this way:
send btc --- exchange for ltc/doge --- withdraw this coins in a new address.
Then send this coins to another (or the same exchange) and you can get back your btc !
Probably you loss a bit because there is a couple of passage but I think this is also a fair solution Wink

* if you are doing something illegal for example gained the coins through a hack then doing all that is pointless because authorities can contact both exchanges and ask then to release your information (the addresses, your IP and a lot more)

* if you are not doing anything illegal then there is no point of doing all that. just do a simple deposit and withdrawal and you are good to go.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 31, 2016, 08:03:07 AM
I think you are right bitcoin do not have any competitors, as bitcoin is a bigger crypto currency and most people want to put their money in bitcoin and are using it as a currency while other coins are only used for trade,

The Etheruem is the competition of the bitcoin. The market cap of Ethereum is about 10% of bitcoin. It will get bigger.

haha, ethereum bag-holders wish it only.
ethereum is far from a note-worthy competition for bitcoin. it has nothing to offer and worst of all etehreum is centralized which will never help with the adoption.

and the only reason for a high market cap is because ethereum has a lot of coins available so low price multiplied by this massive amount of available supply (83.5 million) becomes  huge number.

if bitcoin had a scam premine like ethereum and had 83 million instead of 15 you could see only in your dreams to reach bitcoin market cap of 83 million Cheesy
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero Soon $100 on: August 31, 2016, 07:53:26 AM
wow, this is the boldest claim so far. (i am trying to to use stupidest)

unlike many who say monero is just a pump i do believe that this rise is mostly because of the news about darknet and introducing a big market for actually using this coin.
but i don't think we are at $100 potential yet, and surely not soon!
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which coin is worthy to pay more attention ? on: August 31, 2016, 07:48:08 AM
There are a lot of exchange to post digital currency online trading , BTC , LTC , LSK , GAME ,GP ............may I know which is your interest core ?

are you looking for exchanges or altcoins?

as for different exchanges i have stopped trading bitcoin/fiat after the bitfinex hack and mostly because the stable price but kraken and btc-e are good these days
and for altcoins i have always preferred bittrex

and as for cryptocurrencies, obviously bitcoin is my first choice.
but i trade altcoins a lot and in those i am interested in the following:
1) Mnero (XMR)
2) Litecoin (LTC)
3) Lisk (LSK)
4) Ethereum classic (ETC) > although this one is a bit riskier but has  potential of a big pump
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When and where do you start to gamble? on: August 31, 2016, 07:44:14 AM
I want to try gambling to know how it feels like

then just do it already!
with online gambling using bitcoin you don't even have to invest anything yourself, you can use the site's free bitcoin from their faucet to gamble and see how it feels like. then invest.

and to know what are the possibilities you may gain from playing gambling

the possibilities have little limit. the only limit is the amount of money you put in and the risk you take and also in some cases the limit the casino puts for example you may not be able to win 5000 bitcoin from your bet because of the casino limit.

and to know how many people are crazy about it i need your help.

so many people are crazy about gambling.
and it is a wide variety of people from those who only do it for fun to gambling addicts who lose everything on it.

where can i find some gambling games that are less spending's

i don't understand what the bold part means!
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Traditional Gambling or Online Gambling? What's yours? on: August 31, 2016, 07:38:27 AM
Gambling evolved from your local poker house (mahjongg in my case) to something that you just click with a mouse.

What's your bet?

i have played mahjong and i absolutely love it but i never know it is a gambling game! and even now i don't see how you can gamble on it because the game is like any other board games.

but as for my preference i prefer online gambling with simple games like dice, because it is fast and efficient. and i can take any kind of risk i want just by changing the multiplier.
